Worst service Ive ever had at a flower shop. Went today to get 4 arraignment for my grandparents grave and parents for Christmas. The first lady past me onto another lady who was absolutely miserable,mean,rude and down right demeaning. She had absolutely no means to be in customer service ESPICALLY for the holidays. I live In corona but my parents and most family live in area. Ill never come here again. Thanks for wasting my time and past money peter.
The only flowers that my mom likes are sunflowers. With her birthday being in November, they are hard to come by and usually wilted. This shop was my fourth and final stop on my sunflower hunt because not only did they have them, but THEY WERE SPECTACULAR! I looked on their website, saw an arrangement that I liked, showed it to them and BOOM, in 5min, the picture came to life. I’ve never been happier buying flowers for my mom! I absolutely recommend this place for your flower needs! They also had a fresh and beautiful variety of bouquets for purchase.
My sons teacher loved the flower arrangement. I ordered on line and then follwed up with a phone call to the store. Dominick provided excellent customer service. I described what I wanted and the floral arrangement was absolutely beautiful.Thank you!!!
I asked for an arrangement that was “not normal” and left it up to the designer’s choice. This is what they created in 20 minutes. Peter and his team are amazing and never disappoints.
DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! The photos are stock photos and they cant come close and charge the most expensive in all of Queens! This was a very important arrangement which was for my grandmothers for her 87th birthday. I deliberately called and spoke with one of their reps to make sure the arrangement would look like the photo you have online and she assured me that it would, but it wasnt even close.The roses werent the same type of roses nor were they arranged to anything close to the photo. They are just protruding out from the top mostly. This arrangement shouldnt have cost anywhere near $120 that I was charged. The photo is a total misrepresentation of the quality of flowers and work that they do.Peters arrangement looks pitiful and frankly Im embarrassed that my entire family saw this. It looks like someone went to garden tired a ribbon on it and threw it together. They call this premium? Its terrible! I dont mind paying top dollar but this is surely a ripoff and an embarrassment.

I live in New Orleans. I wanted to send flowers to my sister for her birthday and to congratulate her on being promoted to principal. I googled flower shops with the zip code near my sister’s school George Ryan in Fresh Meadows, NY. I chose Flowers by Peter based on the reviews. My sister absolutely loved the flowers! She said the hydrangeas and purple roses were especially beautiful and unique. She said the arrangement was so big and beautiful! She sent me a picture of the flowers and I must say that the website is true to life! No false advertising. I have to say I was hesitant about purchasing flowers online. However, Flowers by Peter did not disappoint. For those who live in that area you truly have a wonderful place to purchase flower arrangements! I would recommend this place 100%; from a happy customer all the way from New Orleans!

Super fast delivery! Was expecting it to be delivered later in the day but roughly 1 hour after i placed the order, the flowers were delivered. Price was fair and the site was easy to navigate. Will be placing future orders and would highly recommended.
I ordered some flowers for my friends fathers funeral which was 2 days away and it was mothers day. They were jam packed and we received great service they were very considerate and kind and flowers were beautiful and delivered early. great experience!!

My boyfriend has been going to this florist for 30 years and he always brings me beautiful flowers from this shop. The owner is really great, however his wife is a you know what. She is rude, condescending, and difficult to deal with. She lacks customer service in its entirety Im not quite sure she even knows what customer service is. Its valentines day and because my boyfriend refused to deal with the inexperienced florist that have recently been hired and preferred to take part in picking my bouquet which is something he has been doing for the last 4 years we have been together, she gives him a snobby attitude and tells him extremely nastily we are going to take 2 hrs on your bouquet. So my advice you see bitter women go the opposite direction she is awful and not worth the headache.
July 10th, 2021: Westbury Manor WeddingMatthew and his team did an INCREDIBLE job on all of the flowers for our wedding at the Westbury Manor. All of the flower arrangements were colorful and stunning! The centerpieces along the bouquets and boutonnieres were absolutely extraordinary and complemented the theme of the wedding!Matthew is truly an artist and excellent at his craft! He is also VERY accommodating and has creative ideas! Expected flowers to be overpriced because of location but ended up being very reasonable and flowers look beautiful. They also wrapped it up very nicely and discounted it slightly...recommend highly!

Proprietors, Matthew and Michelle, were incredibly helpful and caring on my saddest day, the anniversary of my sons death. I called to order flowers for his gravesite and they offered to deliver them. I was not aware florists provided this service and was so grateful they did. While I was at the cemetery removing old flowers, I was surprised when Flowers by Peter, arrived with the beautiful flower blanket/spray, fall plantings and pumpkins. I had just called a couple of hours earlier. The gentlemen were kind and courteous, and they cleaned up the area before creating a tasteful fall arrangement. Going forward I will call on FBP for all occasions, and would highly recommend them.

I went on the recent snow day. The shop was closed and they were only doing preparations for the next days orders, and even still, they allowed me in to buy flowers for my grandma for my grandpas passing anniversary. I highly recommend this place. The service and the quality of the flowers are superb. They needed to deliver the flowers to a hospital at certain time, which they did. They were out of some of the flowers in the original offer, so they contacted me to notify me and ask for my permission if they can replace them with other flowers. At the end, they did a great job and my wife was very pleased and happy with them. Thank you. :)
Extremely disappointed with my order. The staff were very unprofessional and no communication from the staffs part. Also the flowers arrived a day late ( no communication) Adding to the fact that the flowers looked nothing like the pictures on online. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again.

Ordered flowers via their website from Florida to a location in Queens, NY. As requested, the delivery was made the next day. My mother was pleased and delighted, said it was a beautiful arrangement , plus it did not break the piggy bank as other florists do via their nationwide floral delivery service. NO DELIVERY CHARGE. Four days before my fiancé’s birthday I placed an online order with Flowers by Peter. The day before delivery I get a call that they can’t find the flowers (her favorite) that I ordered. This is frustrating as their site made it sound like they had them (another shop said they did not to avoid this issue). Brianna was not very caring/apologetic when informing me - she only wanted to switch them for roses. Now I have to find an alternative gift to replace the cancelled order and have little time to do so. Thanks Flowers By Peter.
My family ordered an floral arrangement for a casket. The staff took their time guiding my mom and her siblings through the whole process and delivered on their promise to make things look perfect for my Grandmothers funeral. Excellent customer service for a difficult time in my families lives.
Unbelieveable shop to visit. Fun to see their Aviary of exotic and talking birds. Michele and Matt do perfection and are super professional when servicing your wedding or parties. Also great arrangements to have delivered or pickup. Really nice people to deal with also. Highly recommend.

My family and I met with Matthew on November 27, 2017 to arrange for flowers for our Moms wake and funeral. We had looked at his floral book at the funeral home and found exactly what we wanted. We ordered a casket cover and 2 wreaths and we wanted them to match. We also wanted the flowers as shown as we wanted colorful and bright arrangements. Matthew assured us he would take care of everything. He showed us a wreath that was already made so we would have an idea of the actual size, and he changed the greens on the arrangements to better suit what we were looking for. I cant begin to express how happy we were with everything!!! The flowers were just gorgeous-and if you put them next to the picture in the book they would match perfectly!! It was a sad occasion but Matthew was very sweet and did a fantastic job!!

Great quick, early morning delivery of the flowers to my wife but by the time I got home less than 12 hours later the roses are already wilting. For the price I paid for the deluxe order I expect the flowers to last longer. I hope they last the weekend.

I had showed them a picture of what I wanted for my wedding bouquet and they said they could do it. Day of my wedding, they give me some bouquet which wasnt AT ALL what I had shown them or wanted. They asked if I still wanted it and I had nothing else to use, so I paid for something I was VERY UNHAPPY with. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. So disappointed.

Extremely unsatisfied with the flower arrangement for the price paid!! Floral wreath did not compare to the website photo at all, about half the flowers were added, not as full as website photo AND completely wilted!! Did not even last until the funeral which was less than 24 hours. How unprofessional.........

This lady doesn’t know how to talk to potential customer.i walked in to buy a specific flower. She showed me a Christmas flower and when I asked for other varieties she said that’s only they got and went inside it was not nice.

2022-05-07I just got my order of Mother’s Day Bouquet delivered to me and the flowers look amazing! I was a little worried because I ordered online so I wasn’t able to see the quality of the flowers before paying, but they definitely did not disappoint. I will be a returning customer for other occasions!

2021-06-23My wife and I purchased our floral arrangements here for our wedding. We honestly lost count of how many compliments we received about them. Potentially the most beautiful and stunning floral arrangements Ive personally ever witnessed. The flowers were fresh and in peak condition when we picked them up on the morning of our ceremony. This is also my go to place for flowers on almost all other special occasions. Although Ive been coming here for years, my most recent experience here was so extraordinary that I felt the need to write a noteworthy review. Thank you for making our special day even more amazing!

2022-02-14Thank you for the same day delivery to the NY Presbyterian. The bouquet was beautiful and I appreciate the care taken in every step of the process. Immediately after placing the order, the team called me to inform me that there was a sunflower shortage and they might have to use a replacement flower. When the delivery driver called, he was kind enough to wait as I coordinated a pickup for the bouquet and even sent me a picture of the bouquet. To my surprise there were so many sunflowers in the bouquet (they had received a shipment that morning).Long story short - beautiful bouquet, fast delivery, my grandfather loved it

2021-02-14They did an amazing job providing service and giving us exactly what we wanted. My father had brought in the figures in the middle of the flowers shown in the pictures and they were able to create a whole in the bottom of the figures to place with the flowers. Along with that they were able to complete a delivery from their location to the south side of Long Island all for an amazing price.

2022-04-16It will be a disservice on my part if I don’t finally write this review. I thought I was the only one but now that I’m seeing what some of the bad reviews are about, I have to say I’m not surprised. I was disrespected by that, I’m sure, one lady. You can be sweet, neutral, and she will be nasty, rude, belligerent. This was years back, don’t remember the face, but if you see any lady workers, stay away or deal with one of them and I will tell you this, you will know in less than 10 seconds if she’s the one. If the word rude was a living thing, it’s that lady. Got disrespecteD WITHOUT ANY PROVOCATION ON MY PART. I let sometime pass, went again .. and again got treated badly…
