Not the best experience. So Ive been going to this place for many years just to do inspection and tire change. I went on a weekend to do inspection because I thought it was expired. The owner told me to wait 45 mins which it was ok with me because I wasnt in a rush. While I was waiting the owner sent his employee to tell me that my car was making a noise and to replace the piece I had to pay $300, meanwhile I have a car that has a turbo and has six cylinders(this type of cars make a lot of noise). The guy NEVER checked my car, I dont have any light on my dashboard that says something is wrong with my car. If he wanted to charge me extra money at least pretend and checked my car but no, he just went right ahead and gave me a price.Thank God 😊at the end my inspection wasnt expired and I left. I hope people who go to this place can be aware of the type of person he is, hes not honest at all.
Story time, I had 2 excounters with this shops.Encounter 1. I called the shop to get a quote on getting front suspension changes out with new parts. The man on the phone said that he would need to see the rust on the truck first before he can give a final price. But he gave a rough estimate, forgot what it was. I said okay and like normal people, shopped around at other shops. The next day I called back as I have decided to go with this shop. The same man answered the phone. I said Hi I have a 02 sequoia and I wanted to get my suspension replaced. I... before I could finish the man on the phone shouted, you called yesterday and I already gave you a price and hung up. Okay that was odd. So I left a bad Yelp review about the shop. Guess I couldve worded my question better. I had my suspension work done at Mao Auto Tech in Astoria (highly recommend)Excounter 2.It was the morning before a major road trip down south. It was 8 in the morning and Flushing Tires was the only one open nearby. I needed to have my tires rebalanced before hitting the road. When I got there, a man greeted with the usual pleasantries. Probably the same person as the first encounter but cannot say for sure. He said When I take off the wheels, I might scratch your rims with the sockets. I said okay, fair enough warning. As they finished balancing my tires and started putting the wheels back on, this is when the less than pleasant experience started. I attribute a lack of workmanship and laziness to what happened. They used a impact torque gun to put the lugs nuts back on. They torqued the nuts to oblivion. They ripped off 4 of my lug bolts from the wheel hub. They man said oh thats not good. Well no shit Sherlock, I cant drive 1000 miles with my wheel hanging on my a thread. He then proceeded to say it broke cause your car is old. Well no, it broke cause you used a torque gun on the highest setting and ripped them off. The man said Let me take a look at the studs, Ill see if I can fix it. Lets all guess what he did next. Thats Right! He took responsibility for his mistake and fixed my car free of charge because it was his mistake. Lol. Nope.. He said I cant fix it, Im too busy today. There were 2 car in the shop, mine included. The man told me to take it to another shop and have them service it cause its still early in the morning. Yup they broke my studs off my car, refused to fix it, and left me to go take to another shop to fix. Oh and he still charged me $40 for the rebalancing. I left and went to a shop I knew and trusted, Mao Auto Tech. They fixed this shops mistakes and I was on the road on time for my trip.Yes this Flushing Tires is so trash, Im promoting another shop to go to instead of this one.Tldr. They couldnt handle me calling the shop twice and hung up on me. They broke my lug studs and refused to fix it. Went in for a $40 balancing and left with 4 broken lug studs. Had to go to another shop to fix their mistakes, cost $360 to fix.
Almost looks like a junk yard but the shop is very reliable. Their service is quick and efficient and certainly affordable. Went to them for every popped tire—had to purchase a new tire once bc it was badly torn but other than that they patched it up neatly and sent me on my way. Highly recommend!
I brought my car to flushing tire to get my inspection done a couple of days ago. One of the employees said my rear brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced and or it wont pass inspection. Another gentleman who normally sits inside the little booth in the corner and usually wears a button down shirt gave me a price quote. Any smart consumer wants to save money so I decided to do it myself as its not too complicated of a job.It was interesting to note that the old rotors were actually in not too bad of shape. There were no grooves and they still had not reached minimal thickness but there was some normal rusting around the outer edges. I decided to change them anyway and once the rotors and pads were replaced I brought it back to the shop to get the inspection done. The same gentleman approached me and asked me with an attitude, how come the shop who replaced my brakes didnt do my inspection. When I told him that I replaced them myself he told me hes not doing the inspection. I asked why not and he just replied with no and turned his back to me and walked away, no explanation whatsoever.Ive been coming to this shop for a few years now getting common services done like oil changes, inspections, flat tire repair. To have him refuse service to my car because I simply decided to change my own brakes instead of paying him is really unprofessional. Its not too big of a deal for me since there are hundreds of other shops who will do my inspection but there are 3 other vehicles in my household and you just lost our business for all our vehicles.
I have been coming to flushing tires for a few years now and it’s always great with very short or no wait time. I just left from getting my car inspected and the owner ZACK is truly a angel from heaven!!! I went to a shop in Long Island close to my job earlier today where they tried to charge me almost $80 because they told me I needed to change my windshield wiper prior to getting my car inspected. That was totally not true and I knew it so I ended up leaving and going to Flushing Tires. I’m so happy I followed my gut which was the smartest decision because Zack and his staff are truly the BEST IN QUEENS !!! Thank You guys again.
Better remember to ask a receipt every time.Otherwise, don’t be surprised when you go back if something’s wrong. They would be about face just out of your imagination. When things go right, everything is fine. Until...When you realize, a new tire is actually a stock over 1.5 years.Yes, they are cheap and I was satisfied after being there many times.
Found it on Google and pay visit because of convenience hours, they opened on Sunday too. Found the staff Saui very warm and polite. I left the car for inspection $37 and oil change $35, then I walked to Flushing for a lunch and get a call for ready to pickup about an hour. The owner is very friendly and nice attitude. Recommended for others.
Best prize in the town. This is the place I come every time my car is not in a good shape. Quick, friendly, great service, and very knowledgeable if you have questions. I will be coming back for all of my future maintenance needs. A great place to recommend for my friends whoever have problems with their car.
This is a great shop for you day to day vehicle needs. The owner Zach and his brother are very helpful. They always treat you as friends and not as customers and end up giving you good advice so that you get whats best for you and your car and save money. I have been their customer for 3 years now and very happy with their service.
Zack and his crew are great. I pulled in 8:00 am on a Sunday and they were ready to help. They took off my tire, tested it and explained what was wrong with it. No BS, right to the point. I needed a new tire, he had one in stock and gave me a fair price to install and balance it. I was out of there in 40 minutes. Thanks Zack.
I originally went for a flat tire and it was fixed in 5 mins then I met Zack and told him about a smell of gas in my car and he told me to bring it to check it out for free and same day he got my car fixed, changed parts that had a leak and price was reduced.👍 no more smell of gas in my car. My mechanic told me nothing was wrong but Zack found the problem right away. Definitely Zack is my new mechanic. 👍🙌
Been going there for years for tires and repairs. Very professional an honest. Had the battery light come on in my jeep. Took it to a place a friend recommended cause I was out on Long Island. The man checked it, diagnosed it and said it was the computer in the Jeep tat was bad and would cost about $1,200. Took it to another place and was told the computer was fine but it was the harness that was around the alternator that had to be replaced and would cost around $1,400. The battery was still charging and the alternator was fine so I decided to wait until I got back home. I took it to Zack, he told me he would check it out. I said no problem, I left the Jeep. 3 hours later he calls and tells me the Jeep is all done and ready to be picked up. We had prior discussions that it had to get done and he had my permission to repair it. I asked him what caused the battery light to come on he said it was a wire coming off the alternator that burned out for some reason. It was a hard to find wire that he had to custom make. Diagnose and Repair: $200. Problem solved. I recommend him to all my family and friends. So far everybody I have recommended to him has been very happy with the service. He has earned the 5-Star rating.
I had an alternator and battery replaced. I also did an oil change and inspection. It was all done very quickly with excellent customer service. One of the owners named Zach was very nice and accommodating. I definitely recommend checking out this shop if you have issue with car.
When it comes to auto repair shops its very hard to find a good mechanic who you can trust. These guys are trustworthy and know what they are doing. Dont let the name mislead you, they do everything not just tires! I take all 3 of my cars to this place. The place can get busier on weekends but the owner makes every effort to accommodate you.
These guys are scammers and cheats that only care about money, not their customers. So beware getting work done here.Came in to get a tire fixed and had to wait. 3 cars show up behind me while Im waiting and the Indian guy tells starts working on their cars first. Ask him why I wasnt next and he said they were going to pay cash for more expensive jobs, so I can wait till they were done before working on my tire. Told me I can wait or just leave, said their money was more important.Ive seen them put the wrong tires on peoples cars, likely to use cheap tires as replacements when they think their customers wont notice.Dont go here, not worth the risk and the headache.
Service is ok. If you dont ask or tell them they will fix tire at the most expensive unnecessary way. Beware! they OVERINFLATE tires at unsafe pressure mine 50psi (32 manufacturer). They figured if you pop one youll most likely get it from them. I recommend you follow the guy on the small shed where he fix your tire so he wont do any more funny business.
Zack is the BEST!!!!I have been to Flushing Tire several times where Zack has actually turned me away because he said NO WORK was needed on my car. They are really great guys there and i trust them implicitly.I think we all know how challenging it can be to find a trustworthy mechanic!!!I promise you all- you will not be disappointed!!!!
Flushing Tire been my go to Auto Repair shop for many years, over the years I have refer many friends and family member to them. most often than not, everyone is happy with the service and prices they able to provide. One of the best Auto repair shop in the Northeast part of Queens, especially in Flushing Area. I highly recommended
I am a first time driver and I have come to this place twice since I starting driving. As bad As that may seem I have never felt so comfortable and taken care of. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and are awesome at ensuring you everything will be okay. I highly recommend them! Prices are great!
Price is fair for service but you get what you pay for. Took my car there a few times for oil changes and tire service and everything was ok until one day when I went there to have another oil change and I saw a guy tightening the filter instead of loosing it to remove it. He put so much pressure on it that the piece where the filter screws on came out. I know very basic things about cars including oil change and I know that a oil filter screws on like any other bolt counterclockwise to loose and clockwise to tighten and I do not know how he got this confused. I had to buy that part because they blamed the previous person who did the oil change for this because they said they tightened too much and it was them who did it before but I did not say anything because it was not an expensive part and they told me that for next oil change to bring in all the oil filter housing from the dealer because it needed to be changed so i decided not to go there again and have been going to another place for oil change without having any problems or buying the parts they said. They just wanted me to spend the money to buy these parts so that they could charge me for installing it or maybe they just did not know wth they were doing.
The shop told me that they cant fix my brand new tire that I just purchased a week ago.so I asked for a used tire so I have something temporarily... the owner said they dont have any used, so I told him I was just going to leave. As soon as I said I m leaving, charged me 45$ for a used tire. In other words lied to me to get me to pay for a brand new tire that I didnt need at the moment. I paid the 45 and drove to my friends shop to find out that they gave me a horrible tire that is not safe to drive in. Dont go to this shop, they will give you a tire that is not safe and will rip you off!!!! They over charged me for a tire that shouldnt even be sold to anyone!!!
Worst tire shop in the area. Unprofessional. They do not torque your wheels properly. After my father changed his tires there 2 weeks prior. I needed to change the brakes and when I tried to take off the lugnuts they were so tight that after using a breaker bar 2 studs broke. The other studs were crossthreaded. The owner claimed he was a professional for 19years. He could not even tell me the torque specification which is usually around 80-100ft lbs for small cars and does not even have a torque wrench on hand. These are the shameful mechanics that give real mechanics bad rep. These guys will make a simple tire change into another expensive repair.
I went looking for a rotor for my front wheel for my 07 Honda Accord. They told me it would cost $300 for a regular quality rotor and $350 for better quality. I decided to shop arround and ended up getting a rotor with 2 year warranty from autozone for $40 and another $25 for installation from a local tire shop.
If I could give less than one star I would. The business advertises new and used tires, but when I took my car to them with a flat and requested a used tire as a replacement, they told me they didn’t have any. When I told them that I was going to leave and go somewhere else, a used tire “magically” appeared... however I found out later from a trusted friend that the tire I was given was near the end of its life, and I was way over-charged. Shady staff who will flat out lie to your face and then rip you off, needless to say I won’t ever be coming back here.
Went there with a flat tire. They said there was nothing wrong with the tire, so they put air and put it back in. A few weeks later my tire came off while I was driving in the middle of the road, I almost DIE. Took it to the mechanic and turns out the screw weren’t properly installed.
I ask the guy how much for alignment, he say what kind of car?? the all the same buddy!! i said 2000 mercedes oh ok 95$ ,, $95?? wen everyone charge 65,but he heard mercedes he think im old with money,no buddy ,sorry wert to another plce paid 65$ go done ,this guy is a TEAF!!!

2022-06-26I am not sure about others but I always had an amazing experience coming to this place, I would rate this place 10 stars if I could. I have been a customer for more than 5 years and will be for many more to come.Zack and all of his staff are extremely professional in what they do, from flat fixes to complex mechanical issues. I always have a great experience coming here. Be it Zacks enigmatic personality to Sauls smiling face; you will always find them on your side, giving you the best advice possible. Their prices are the most reasonable with the best service you will find in the neighborhood and beyond.A highly recommended place for any needs related to your vehicle.

2022-07-05Zack and his team are wonderful! They are very friendly and even though they are clearly busy, Zack took the time to connect with me both at dropoff and pickup. Other mechanics are friendly too.I went to the shop on a recommendation from a colleague and he serviced both of my vehicles quickly and with competitive prices. Happy to have a place local to my office where I dont sacrifice quality for convenience.

2021-12-21My husband and I always go to Flushing Tires and Zack (aka the guy in the plaid shirt) has always been incredibly courteous and goes above and beyond for us. I dont really know much about cars but I go here for all my car problems (inspections, lights going off in my car, tire pressure, etc) and this place always fixes it in a timely manner and charges me VERY fair rates. My car got hit in the back TWICE from the same parking lot and Zack fixed it right up. I feel like this is such an honest place that really values their customers. No wonder this place is so popular. Zack is pretty much my car guy and even though I moved away from Flushing, I will keep coming back here.

2021-03-10The tire size of my car is 205/65/ R16, but the tire shop changed the 215/60/R16 for me. Finally, it caused my car big trouble. I had to change my shock absorber and the axle shaft. They let me spend thousands dollars to fix my car and even didnt show their apologize. The worst tire shop in the world!!!
