Not the best experience. So Ive been going to this place for many years just to do inspection and tire change. I went on a weekend to do inspection because I thought it was expired. The owner told me to wait 45 mins which it was ok with me because I wasnt in a rush. While I was waiting the owner sent his employee to tell me that my car was making a noise and to replace the piece I had to pay $300, meanwhile I have a car that has a turbo and has six cylinders(this type of cars make a lot of noise). The guy NEVER checked my car, I dont have any light on my dashboard that says something is wrong with my car. If he wanted to charge me extra money at least pretend and checked my car but no, he just went right ahead and gave me a price.Thank God 😊at the end my inspection wasnt expired and I left. I hope people who go to this place can be aware of the type of person he is, hes not honest at all.
Story time, I had 2 excounters with this shops.Encounter 1. I called the shop to get a quote on getting front suspension changes out with new parts. The man on the phone said that he would need to see the rust on the truck first before he can give a final price. But he gave a rough estimate, forgot what it was. I said okay and like normal people, shopped around at other shops. The next day I called back as I have decided to go with this shop. The same man answered the phone. I said Hi I have a 02 sequoia and I wanted to get my suspension replaced. I... before I could finish the man on the phone shouted, you called yesterday and I already gave you a price and hung up. Okay that was odd. So I left a bad Yelp review about the shop. Guess I couldve worded my question better. I had my suspension work done at Mao Auto Tech in Astoria (highly recommend)Excounter 2.It was the morning before a major road trip down south. It was 8 in the morning and Flushing Tires was the only one open nearby. I needed to have my tires rebalanced before hitting the road. When I got there, a man greeted with the usual pleasantries. Probably the same person as the first encounter but cannot say for sure. He said When I take off the wheels, I might scratch your rims with the sockets. I said okay, fair enough warning. As they finished balancing my tires and started putting the wheels back on, this is when the less than pleasant experience started. I attribute a lack of workmanship and laziness to what happened. They used a impact torque gun to put the lugs nuts back on. They torqued the nuts to oblivion. They ripped off 4 of my lug bolts from the wheel hub. They man said oh thats not good. Well no shit Sherlock, I cant drive 1000 miles with my wheel hanging on my a thread. He then proceeded to say it broke cause your car is old. Well no, it broke cause you used a torque gun on the highest setting and ripped them off. The man said Let me take a look at the studs, Ill see if I can fix it. Lets all guess what he did next. Thats Right! He took responsibility for his mistake and fixed my car free of charge because it was his mistake. Lol. Nope.. He said I cant fix it, Im too busy today. There were 2 car in the shop, mine included. The man told me to take it to another shop and have them service it cause its still early in the morning. Yup they broke my studs off my car, refused to fix it, and left me to go take to another shop to fix. Oh and he still charged me $40 for the rebalancing. I left and went to a shop I knew and trusted, Mao Auto Tech. They fixed this shops mistakes and I was on the road on time for my trip.Yes this Flushing Tires is so trash, Im promoting another shop to go to instead of this one.Tldr. They couldnt handle me calling the shop twice and hung up on me. They broke my lug studs and refused to fix it. Went in for a $40 balancing and left with 4 broken lug studs. Had to go to another shop to fix their mistakes, cost $360 to fix.
Almost looks like a junk yard but the shop is very reliable. Their service is quick and efficient and certainly affordable. Went to them for every popped tire—had to purchase a new tire once bc it was badly torn but other than that they patched it up neatly and sent me on my way. Highly recommend!
I brought my car to flushing tire to get my inspection done a couple of days ago. One of the employees said my rear brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced and or it wont pass inspection. Another gentleman who normally sits inside the little booth in the corner and usually wears a button down shirt gave me a price quote. Any smart consumer wants to save money so I decided to do it myself as its not too complicated of a job.It was interesting to note that the old rotors were actually in not too bad of shape. There were no grooves and they still had not reached minimal thickness but there was some normal rusting around the outer edges. I decided to change them anyway and once the rotors and pads were replaced I brought it back to the shop to get the inspection done. The same gentleman approached me and asked me with an attitude, how come the shop who replaced my brakes didnt do my inspection. When I told him that I replaced them myself he told me hes not doing the inspection. I asked why not and he just replied with no and turned his back to me and walked away, no explanation whatsoever.Ive been coming to this shop for a few years now getting common services done like oil changes, inspections, flat tire repair. To have him refuse service to my car because I simply decided to change my own brakes instead of paying him is really unprofessional. Its not too big of a deal for me since there are hundreds of other shops who will do my inspection but there are 3 other vehicles in my household and you just lost our business for all our vehicles.
I have been coming to flushing tires for a few years now and it’s always great with very short or no wait time. I just left from getting my car inspected and the owner ZACK is truly a angel from heaven!!! I went to a shop in Long Island close to my job earlier today where they tried to charge me almost $80 because they told me I needed to change my windshield wiper prior to getting my car inspected. That was totally not true and I knew it so I ended up leaving and going to Flushing Tires. I’m so happy I followed my gut which was the smartest decision because Zack and his staff are truly the BEST IN QUEENS !!! Thank You guys again.
Better remember to ask a receipt every time.Otherwise, don’t be surprised when you go back if something’s wrong. They would be about face just out of your imagination. When things go right, everything is fine. Until...When you realize, a new tire is actually a stock over 1.5 years.Yes, they are cheap and I was satisfied after being there many times.
Found it on Google and pay visit because of convenience hours, they opened on Sunday too. Found the staff Saui very warm and polite. I left the car for inspection $37 and oil change $35, then I walked to Flushing for a lunch and get a call for ready to pickup about an hour. The owner is very friendly and nice attitude. Recommended for others.
Best prize in the town. This is the place I come every time my car is not in a good shape. Quick, friendly, great service, and very knowledgeable if you have questions. I will be coming back for all of my future maintenance needs. A great place to recommend for my friends whoever have problems with their car.

2022-06-26I am not sure about others but I always had an amazing experience coming to this place, I would rate this place 10 stars if I could. I have been a customer for more than 5 years and will be for many more to come.Zack and all of his staff are extremely professional in what they do, from flat fixes to complex mechanical issues. I always have a great experience coming here. Be it Zacks enigmatic personality to Sauls smiling face; you will always find them on your side, giving you the best advice possible. Their prices are the most reasonable with the best service you will find in the neighborhood and beyond.A highly recommended place for any needs related to your vehicle.

2022-07-05Zack and his team are wonderful! They are very friendly and even though they are clearly busy, Zack took the time to connect with me both at dropoff and pickup. Other mechanics are friendly too.I went to the shop on a recommendation from a colleague and he serviced both of my vehicles quickly and with competitive prices. Happy to have a place local to my office where I dont sacrifice quality for convenience.

2021-12-21My husband and I always go to Flushing Tires and Zack (aka the guy in the plaid shirt) has always been incredibly courteous and goes above and beyond for us. I dont really know much about cars but I go here for all my car problems (inspections, lights going off in my car, tire pressure, etc) and this place always fixes it in a timely manner and charges me VERY fair rates. My car got hit in the back TWICE from the same parking lot and Zack fixed it right up. I feel like this is such an honest place that really values their customers. No wonder this place is so popular. Zack is pretty much my car guy and even though I moved away from Flushing, I will keep coming back here.

2021-03-10The tire size of my car is 205/65/ R16, but the tire shop changed the 215/60/R16 for me. Finally, it caused my car big trouble. I had to change my shock absorber and the axle shaft. They let me spend thousands dollars to fix my car and even didnt show their apologize. The worst tire shop in the world!!!
