This Gallery is cozy but the works are from well known artist that elevates the visual towards many paths.You will not be disappointed. The curator is Ron Turner he is also an artist ,photographer and he well known in his community on City Island.

I met the owner/proprietor Ron Terner of Focal Point over 20 years ago and his devotion/love of his establishment and the community he serves is limitless. Ron would literally give you his shirt off his back to help anyone in need. His artistically creative sense of photography is boundless. We have a true photographic master artist in our midst and many of his patrons/customers dont realize it. His photographic art creations should be exhibited in Soho galleries or Moma or the Met yet here they are at the Focal Point in City Island. Ron also offers the public, opportunities to exhibit your own art work every month. What more can you ask for. He also sells very unique semi-precious jewelry for those looking for great gifts.

Local shop with a unique selection of art and jewelry that changes every month. The owner was super nice and gave us directions and advice for things to do in the area. His work was interesting and he seemed like a swell guy. If youre visiting its a nice way to get the local perspective on the island and surrounding area. If only we had heeded his advice and not gone to Seafood City!

The Focal Point Gallery is a single room exhibition space founded and run by professional photographer Ron Terner.
