Terrible experience of buying Sony Fx3 at focus camera.On 4.4, got an in stock notification email for Sony FX3. Purchased it right away at amount of 4,297USD on their website. After two days of hold (their slow and turtle-like procedure to prevent frauds). They are telling me that the camera is gone. I called million times to their costumer service and sales. They don’t know and can’t do anything just repeat the policies on their website which can be easily find.There is no explanation to the false advertisement. Hold such a large amount of money for two days without any interests plus useless support team made my first time purchasing experience the worst ever. There is no such camera store is operating like this. I would like to consider that kind of in stock notification email as fraud, I don’t think they are being honest other than holding the money for days.
The camera package I chose was the camera and a waist belt pouch to carry the camera with. When I received the order there was a bag included the size of a medium purse!?The bag is totally useless to me and more importantly does not fill the function the pouch would serve. Very misleading.I reviews the order on Focus cameras site and was told it did not meet their parameters for being posted. How convenient.The camera is wonderful and meets my needs, it’s the deception of the package bundle that is so disappointing.
I bought binocular last second on Monday before vacation and was promised overnight delivery - paid $20.Tuesday - no binocular.Wednesday 6am - left for vacation. Housekeeper notified me that binocular was delivered after lunch.Ok, came back home, took camera and sent it right back on 1/12.Today is 1/27 - still no refund, keep contacting them, they keep promising: 3-5 days. Next time will buy from Amazon.
Really impressed with their service, efficiency, and timeliness. I need a very specific item, and between them, Amazon, and another vendor, they could ship it to me across the country quickest. I contacted them via phone and online chat to assure the item was in stock, and they were extremely courteous, professional, and assured me the item would be shipping out the same day. I dont live in the area, but they will be my go-to for all electronics/camera items in the future.
Found Greenlife 2pack pans i have been looking for . I was able to buy 2-2packs for same price as 1-2pack in most other retailers. Great prices!!! Super fast shipping (4 days down the coast) will definitely share with friends and buy from here again. Best chance I took with a online merchant. Thank you!!!
WOW! I would recommend Focus Camera 1,000 times over! Last October 4th I discovered a scratch on the lens of my Canon camera, that Id had for only 2 years. I have owned Canons since 1978, and have really liked them, but was a little surprised when I contacted Canon that they would not repair my lens. Instead, they wanted me to buy a new camera, but not longer carried the model that I had, even though it was just a couple years old. Sooooo, I would have to upgrade, except, they didnt have ANY in stock. I waited several months and tried again, still none in stock. Another couple of months and I tried again. Talking with Canon on the phone and they could give me no indication of when they might be available. Could be several more months they told me. They suggested I try another vendor, so I googled the model I wanted and ordered from another site. A WHOLE WEEK later, I get a phone call about my order, asking if I knew that what I ordered was not an American model, but an international one. I replied, isnt it the same model regardless of where it is made? But no, the battery charger would not have a plug that would work in our sockets; but they DID have ONE American model left......for $200 more! I got frustrated that it took them a WEEK to call me and tell me this information (and I checked back on their website, and there is NO mention of this on the description of the camera) So, I took to Google once again, and this time I found Focus Camera. Less than 24 hours of placing my order online, I received an email telling me that my order had shipped. I got my camera in less than 4 days, less time than the other company took to call me about my order! So, for about the same price as I would have paid buying directly from Canon, I received the camera I wanted, plus battery pack and charger, travel charger, and TWO tripods and a cleaning kit!!!! BONUS!!! Ive already used my camera on a day trip and LOVE it! Thank you Focus Camera! I have already told people about my wonderful experience with you!!!
Placed an order online and selected 2 day shipping. I live in Queens, NY. The next borough over. Not only was it not 2 days to get my order, it was more like 6 and the order wasnt even dropped at USPS for 2 days. Ordered in Sunday shipping label created on tuesday, and delivered the following Saturday. I reached out to them and it took a day or more to receive a response. When I did they only blamed the postal service. Amazon doesnt do that. I could have picked my item up at the store in a matter of hours and they cant even get 2 day shipping right. Its false advertising to offer 2 day shipping and not have the product there in 2 days. Time=money and you wasted my time. I should have ordered from a reliable source. Someplace who stands behind what they promise. Absolutely pathetic. Horrible experience.
The item arrived very late. When I asked, they blamed it on COVID and the shipper, but items ordered on other websites with the same shipper are arriving on time. And a few even early. I want to support companies outside of Amazon, but I could have bought it there and even a bit cheaper, and it would have arrived when needed, not over a week late. Disappointed at delay and blaming the shipper for slow fulfillment.
Ordered through Amazon. Infrequent customer response through the app. Had to call fedex personally to attempt to resolve issue. Went completely silent after explaining what I needed. Upon calling location or business said office was closed. Worst customer experience I’ve dealt with.
I had a great experience when buying from Focus Camera. The shipping time was incredible and the amount of extras that they ship with both lenses and camera bodies was great. After just buying a camera and an extra lens I was had a great starter setup and am now out shooting everyday! Will definitely continue to shop with Focus Camera for my camera gear.
UPDATE: After posting this review, they issued me a refund via PayPal.I bought a pair of Soundcore earbuds from them off ebay. They were barely used and broke after about a year. Soundcore offers an 18 month no hassle warranty. I contacted Focus Camera, but they would not agree to replace my product. I regret not buying straight from Anker

Purchased a game through the website using PayPal. I didn’t receive an invoice or confirmation, and was concerned due to some reviews I have read. So I contacted customer service and they were very friendly. They quickly confirmed my purchase and sent tracking information and I received the package five days after the purchase.

We are so used to speedy and reliable service from online merchants these days, perhaps even demanding it. Focus Camera, in every way, matched the service of the ubiquitous online mega-stores. Automatic email notifications, great website experience, etc. I feel totally comfortable ordering from Focus Camera.

Used their online web sire to buy a rifle scope. Three times over the course of a month, they sent the correct box containing the wrong scope. Their customer service rep was great about exchanging them but they apparently have no way to check their products in the warehouse once the problem was made obvious to them. In my business we would immediately check the entire inventory to see if the supplier had sent all of the wrong scopes in the correct packaging.
I was so pleased to find a great deal and bundle through Focus Camera and I do my research! They had just what I wanted plus for a better price than the others. My package arrived promptly and now I will be able to make my 24 year old son very, very happy this Christmas. Thank you Focus Camera! You Rock!
I read quite a few negative reviews but my recent experience (12/30/2020) with Focus Camera was fantastic. I used the Live Chat feature and Max confirmed that they had an item in stock that I wanted to purchase. I had looked all over the internet (including eBay, Amazon and OfferUp) and the item was sold out EVERYWHERE... so when Focus Camera said they had one available for immediate shipment I was skeptical. Well to my surprise they did in fact have it on their shelf! My order was shipped the same day I ordered it and it arrived 2 business days later via their FREE shipping option. Inventory levels across all industries seems to be low right now so if you know the product you want is in short supply my advice would be to contact Focus Camera via their friendly Live Chat to verify availability before placing an order.
Purchased a pair of binoculars and they doubled the order. Took close to $400.00 out of my credit card. I only authorized one order not two. Worked with CC company due to no response from merchant. CC company connected me with merchant on a recorded call. Merchant provided an RMA on product I did not order. Product returned and acknowledged by Focus Camera but they refuse to offer a refund because they claim I have an open dispute with Paypal. There is no dispute with paypal. Dispute with Chase was closed weeks ago. I am out $200.00 and no product. They took my money and refuse to give it back. CC company confirmed they had sent the full amount to Focus Camera ( I had to 3 way call them) and still they are using the excuse that paypal has a dispute. $200.00 was taken from me... period.The order was duplicated and I never authorized a double pmt. I returned the item and still have not received a refund. I have and had sent several ebay messages which none were replied to. I sent a message immediately after I saw the double payment and followed up for 3 days. Zero communication from Focus Camera on the eBay platform.
Defective lens Serengeti sunglasses that they do not want to replaceI purchased a pair of Serengeti Aviator sunglasses as a gift for someone and it turns out that the lenses have a manufacturing defect, as confirmed by Customer Service at the end of a days-long email exchange.Now they refuse to authorize a replacement saying that it can not be done after more than 30 days from purchase. A manufacturing defect is still a manufacturing defect after 31 days and so on, so this arbitrary deadline only serves one purpose -- to deny replacement of defective items sold.
Great camera poor serviceI ordered this camera bundle for my son online and it came with the wrong size SanDisk. I tried speaking to Focus Camera to resolve the issue and was told that I needed to speak with customer service so my call was transferred only to get no answer there. I left a message with my order number and contact info but no one returned my call. After trying again to no avail, I finally spoke to someone named Max who was out of state and suggested my son take it to the store and ask for Kenny the manager. I was not happy that my son had to travel on the train and go to the store in person during the pandemic only to be told that the right size SanDisk they will give him costs less and they can only give him a store credit for the difference. I expected to be treated a little better than that for a purchase that cost over $2,000.00.
**followup:. So I ordered my camera on Saturday, it was shipped on Monday and I received it on Tuesday. Order was shipped well, everything was packaged well and everything that was supposed to be in the box was there. Communication with the seller was excellent. Couldnt have asked for a better experience. Support your local camera stores. A+Just bought a camera bundle from Focus. Ive been comparing all of my options online for the right one. I chose focus to do business with. I was nervous spending this kind of money online. Looking forward to getting my camera and writing a follow up to this review.
I will say that many reviews on here are very scary. I ordered 2k worth of camera gear that was a package deal. I didnt read reviews on the place because everything seemed legit. I was nervous waiting for my package to come in the mail. Will the camera be missing or stuff damaged I was sweating bullets. I ordered the package on Saturday and Tuesday I still didnt review any type of order confirmation other then my card being charged.I was nervous so I emailed them asking when they will be shipping my stuff. Within 1 hour I received a tracking number and by the next day my camera was at my house. Everything just as it was described all brand new in box with no problems what so ever. I am only giving 4 stars because of the lack of communication when you place an order but besides that I will definitely order from them again. I understand the weekends you are closed but just expected some type of confirmation by Monday. I have no problems with this company.
The livechat on the website is always offline. It was online for a few minutes at 9am, and then back down again at 10am. The find order function does not work. I have the order number, last name, email address, and zip code, and have entered it precisely several times, but it keeps saying entered data is incorrect.When I finally got in contact with live chat, all she emailed me was a barcode to return, and the return address. I would have had to pay my own return shipping (after already paying my initial shipping). I was then unable to contact live-chat again after receiving my email, because they were offline again one hour later at 10:00 am, so I had to call. After calling customer service, they emailed me the return label.I changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. It was initially 1 star because of the poor live chat function, and poor customer service from live chat that had me frustrated and worried about not being able to return an item.
First time buyer. Im not impress with the service. I am rather disappointed. I didnt get my package until 2 weeks after I put in my order. Understand that it wasnt fully focus camera fault, but because they choose to ship myitem 4 days after I order my item. To make it worst, usps delay my item even further by routing somewhere else up north. Focus Camera didnt really help me throughout this time knowing that I was extremely frustrated. They literally told me to go contact usps since it was in their hand. Here the problem focus camera, Im a new customer, myitem wasnt in myhand until 2 weeks after I order it. Do you think I would make another purchase from you?
I will NEVER do business with this company ever again. I purchased a Rode Podcaster Pro ($639 after taxes) through Focus Cameras Amazon s store. Firstly, they provided a tracking number that was invalid and shipped the material of such value with no signature required. My package went missing but was later found by my neighbor. These people were giving me such a hard time and trying to shift blame only showed them to be incompetent. Sweetwater is a much better business and the customer service is out of this world and they will get my business from here on out. Like I said; I will NEVER place another order with these clowns!
I don’t normally write reviews on companies, only when they are really, really good. Or really, really bad. Unfortunately my experience with Focus Camera LLC was the later, and it has been a bad experience.I purchased a $2400 telescope with them, via Amazon. Shipment arrived a week later however only half of the order showed up. This is a big telescope, and it comes in two very large boxes. One box has the telescope, and the other has the tripod, both essential for the use of this equipment. I assumed someone in the warehouse missed the large “1 OF 2 BOXES, SOLD AS SET” on the side of the box. Accidents happen, it’s frustrating, but they do. I was hopefully a quick call the next day the other box would be expedited out. The first call to customer service had me believing this was to be the case. “The second box is being prepared for shipping”. This was a term I would come to hear A LOT of the next two weeks.I’ll spare you most of the details, but it entailed countless phone calls and emails (including one to the owner, that has yet to go answered). The typical response was “The second box is being prepared for shipping”. I started to have serious doubts that the second box was even there. Finally 14 days after the first box was shipped I spoke with a customer service rep who was truthful with me. “That order was always a split order, we don’t have the other box, and have no idea when will get it. And you are not the only person who has this issue. There are two others”. Let’s list all the things this company just did:Took my money without have the product in stock, while claiming they did.They did not tell me this was a “Split order” when I ordered it, letting me know I would only get half.I had to spend my own time trying to calling/texting them trying to figure out where my order was.Every customer service rep I spoke with my flat out lied to me, and told me “It was being shipped” (I’ve got emails).They knowingly did this to others.In addition most of the people I spoke with on the phone couldn’t give two S**** about my problem that their company created. I feel like I was 100% duped and swindled by Focus Camera LLC. I get that mistakes happen, maybe there was an error in the computer system, I don’t know. However, when a company does make a mistake, like Focus LLC did, it’s how they respond to their mistake that speaks volumes to me as a consumer. So far Focus Camera LLC has failed miserable with me.
I received my Panasonic Lumix G7 within a week and was very happy with the results. Most of the items were well packaged aside from the liquid cleanser which ended up spilling. I understand this could not have been their fault as it may have been a bumpy ride on the UPS truck, but a better packaging system for the cleaners would be perfect. Overall immensely satisfied by their services, and would highly recommend using them.
I received my computer when it was due for delivery - no problems. While setting it up, I noticed that the Caps Lock key would get stuck and not be able to switch back/forth for caps (my emails were SHOUTING). I had read that the keyboard and mouse were the weakest part of this computer setup, so wasnt surprised. I did bring it to the attention of Focus Camera Customer Service. Then I went ahead and ordered a new combo wireless keyboard/mouse. I was floored when I received an email that they would give me a partial refund for those items! Received the credit for the combo that I had purchased in the following email. Who does that!! I was very happily surprised and will definitely use Focus Camera in the future! Great Customer Service! Now, too soon to be sure about the computer itself but Ive had good luck with my HP all-in-one computers in the past so anticipate that I will like this one as well.Linda Spector
I ordered 2 Cross pens/stylus in purple. They were very reasonably priced and came both with an extra refill for the ink and the stylus part each. Quality pens in purple are not very easy to find. My pen is really very attractive and it writes very smooth. Shipping was free for regular ground, but I received my items in less than a week. I am very happy with my purchase. I have ordered from Focus Camera previously and was very satisfied with my purchase then also. I will definitely order from Focus Camera again because they are dedicated to make their customers happy.
I am so happy to have found this company. I received great customer service even with a bad phone connection. I was purchasing a refurbished coffeemaker. The gentleman was quickly able to tell me why it was refurbished and that I have 30 days to return. I had dealings with 2 other companies on the same exact product and neither were helpful. Thank you Focus Camera Team for taking a few minutes out of your day to help.
I pre-ordered the Canon R5 camera and after 30 days of waiting the order was cancelled because payment expires after 30 days. I called them and a customer service agent told me to check with my finance company and it was an issue in their end. After calling and verifying with the finance company that the issue was with focus camera, I politely called back and spoke to another customer service agent. I was told that payments expire after 30 days and i would need to pre-order again. I wanted to make sure i would not lose my pre-order place in line to receive the camera. I was told to put in the order and call back to tie the orders together. I pre-ordered again online and called back. The same customer service agent told me that she could not guarantee my place in line to receive the camera. This is the difference between waiting 2 weeks and waiting 6 months or more. It’s a big deal. I asked to speak to her manager and was transferred to a voicemail. I left a message. No call back. I filled out a form online the next day and still have not received a response 2 weeks later. I would not go to this camera store as the customer service agents are unfamiliar with store policies and i was misdirected multiple times. Buy your camera gear somewhere else.
STAY AWAY!!! This camera store is a COMPLETE SCAM. I placed a pre-order for a Fujifilm XT-4 on February 26th. I cancelled my pre-order within 24 hours due to the camera launch date being delayed, and the customer service representative said I would be refunded within 1 to 3 business days. Sounds good so far. After more than 10 calls and 5 MONTHS later, I have still not seen a penny of my refund. Of course they never shipped the camera either because of the pre-order was canceled. They simply kept my $1,800 and said there was nothing they could do. STAY AWAY!!! I will be reporting them to the BBB. Please avoid the massive headache and time wasted I have had!!!
I ordered an expensive lens from here. Never got it. Store is super slow to respond, blames COVID-19. I dont know what COVID-19 has to do with answering an email or refunding money. Oh yeah. I havent got a refund either. I mean send me the lens or give me a refund. Im sorry to set you back 30 minutes out of your day to make you fix your mess up but its not that hard to be honest guys. Have some integrity. Especially when someone spends a significant amount of money at your store.

I have purchased numerous items from Focus Camera including a Sony 6300 camera and more than one lens. The shipping has always been prompt with good packaging. Items listed in stock have always been in stock, which is more than I can say for some other companies. All in all, I am very satisfied with Focus Camera and will continue to purchase items through them. Highly recommended!
This was GREAT!!! I have a Cross pen thats 28 years old, still has original cartridge that still writes; so when I saw this deal for a Cross pen with a stylus on one end for the very low price offered, I jumped on it. It came quickly, was very nicely packaged, AND, I could use my Amazon Store Card to pay for it. Brilliant.
Purchased a fire pit ring...package had no mounting hardwear. Called manufacturers number waited 30 min on phone each attempt. After 6 attempts on different days, contacted Focus. Focus put me on hold 20 minutes and said, “ok hardware on the way”...over two weeks still waiting. Basically I got what I needed at a local Ace Hardware. What a joke.
I ended up having a complicated shipping problem of my own making and this retailer did a great job in terms of making things right. I was able to talk to real people about my issues, rarely with more than a few minutes waiting time. Conversations were often followed up with email updates from Focus. The people I interacted with were always courteous and helpful. Minus 1 star for sending me a still camera that contained a Euro-style AC adapter (which they are replacing free of charge) and including a filter kit that does not seem to be compatible with either of the lenses included in the package I bought. The main reason I went with Focus is that they were the only retailer I could find offering a two-lens accessory package with the camera I bought (a Panasonic GX85). So given the price point and the customer service experience, I would definitely buy from Focus again.
Purchased an set of Bosch laser measurement combo set from here. Website didn’t mention it was refurbished unit. Until arrived, packaging seems all new and “sealed”, but inside was not new, item seems used. I’m not going to buy from them again. Becareful if you are buying your expensive gear from here.
Update: I updated my review from 1 star to 4 stars. When I posted my review I was told in the same review that they would be shipping me the correct lenses which arrived in the mail in 5 days. Still I called the company the first working day since I posted my review. The person I spoke to by phone was not very nice to me with respect to the voice tone and the comments and statements that she made. However after consulting the log about my case she informed me of the shipping of both filters and the software for which I am grateful.Initial review:The camera with a bundle arrived on time but there are items of the bundle that are wrong! Before I ordered I did a chat to make sure that the lens filter that go with the camera bundle were the right ones. On the web page it said 49 mm filters, whereas it should have been 40.5 mm. The person with whom I chatted (Ken) told me that this was a typo in the web page and it was being fixed. He assured me that I would receive the correct filter set of 40.5 mm. When I opened the box with the camera bundle I found to my dismay the filter set at 46 mm (wrong item) and also the software that is supposed to come with the bundle missing. Disappointing. I will be contacting Focus Camera on Monday when they have open to see if they can send the correct item and the missing item
So I was shopping for a new budget camera to get myself back into photography and I found a GX85 3 lens bundle that sounded fantastic. The third lens was a Panasonic 25mm f1.7. After receiving the bundle I found that I really wasnt a fan of the 25mm, and what I really wanted was the Panny 20mm f1.7 mkII.So I got in contact with their support and after explaining the situation they agreed to let me ship back the 25mm and then I ordered the 20mm immediately. Well once they refunded my return I noticed that they had accidentally refunded me for the more expensive 20mm instead of the cheaper 25mm.I contacted support again and they were very nice and thankful and decided to not charge me for the difference. I wouldve been ok had they charged me but Im of course happy with how they handled it ;).Overall their shipping speed was outstanding, and their customer service has been fantastic for me. They let me return something from a bundle and took responsibility for their return mistake when they didnt have to do either. Will be purchasing from them again no doubt.
I ordered a camera body and a lens a while back but forgot to rate the company. The service was phenomenal I called the store to see if they had a particular camera body and they didn’t have it in stock but told me that I can get it sent to me but I’m an impatient man. So they told me that if were to come tomorrow, they would have it in stock. So I went and bought the camera with its accessories included. I asked for a particular lens too. Unfortunately they don’t have it in stock but told me that they can have it sent to me, now they gave me a special price that I just couldn’t refuse so I accepted it and got sent to me a few days later. I was so please and greatly thankful to this company. Imma trade in my old camera and got a good offer for it so, that I can buy mor equipment for my camera. But 5 stars to the service and professionalism.
Nearly a couple month ago, I bought a smart cellphone from their online store. It was supposed to be shipped with a free wireless charger. First of all, they didnt ship the phone on time and secondly, they never shiped the wireless charger. Definitely a horrible buying experience.
Ive ordered twice from Focus Camera. Both times, they had in stock exactly what I needed. Maybe it sounds strange buying scopes from a camera shop in New York, but their prices are great, fast shipping, terrific products ! My son is very pleased with the sightron rifle scopes. This place is not just a camera store but also has electronics. The guy was veeeeeeery polite & helpful when i asked him about a recharger 4 my phone & even though i didnt buy a gopro he was nice enough 2 tell me how long the battery life would last. This was thev1st time i was here & i highly recommend coming here if u love photography & live in Brooklyn New York New York USA
Had two wonderful experiences with Focus Camera. Got nervous by some of the reviews, but tried them out on a high end lens that was part of a Sony trade-in program. Required that I ship a trade to Focus and credited after paying full-price. Basically lots of things could go wrong. I called Focus and Ken was extremely helpful. My order shipped out fast, and they handled the rest of the transaction smoothly and processed my credit. Great experience with Focus!
If I could I would give Focus a negative star - Be aware - Do not order from them!!I ordered a Sony Cyber-Shot camera kit online with addition accessories and their website specified to be received within 2 days.I called the following day to confirm the order and its delivery date; they assured me, both verbally and in an email confirmation. The next day I still had not received a tracking shipping number, and called again. I have ordered a camera/grip kit. The order was executed promptly, and it arrived fast. However, upon unpacking, I was in for an unpleasant surprise. The camera appeared to be a floor model (it was supposed to be new), and the grip was not included even though the full cost was charged to my credit card. Upon contacting Focus Camera I found out that the grip is not in stock and they do not have a date when it will become available. I am not sure if this is an unscrupulous or incompetent merchant, but I wasted quite a bit of time figuring out the situation with the grip and arranging for the return. I will definitely stay away from this company in the future. I give 2 stars and not 1 because the people on the phone were responsive and helped me with the return.
Got a deal thru Amazon that compared to the other options, was almost too good to be true. I jumped on it, and so far so good.Purchased a Sony XA2 Ultra (unlocked) with a Sony Bluetooth Speaker thrown in as a PKG deal. Everything apparently new, sealed in original pkgs, all wrapped, sealed, and paper work in place. Prime member, so I ordered on a holiday Monday evening (late). Wed AM the PKG arrived, so it was a little early which is no complaint.There was only 1 other review, and it was 5 star. After my order, they have no more of the same deal available already.I say deal, bc it was about 25$ less than all other offers for the same item, without the speaker included as well.Ive given the phone itself a good review, but this is more on the seller, and Amazon.Curious why such an offer, and already unavailable, and only 1 other customer purchase review?If all goes well, I definitely have more business to handle, direct with Focus Camera, being Im local time its NYC location anyway.Thanks!
Cheated by Father-in-Law out of nearly $1,000Sent TV via UPS, which was fully paid and it arrived with cracked screen. Refused to take it back without original box, which was a mess/ripped/torn etc. They are NOT reputable, and dont risk your money with them. Just awful, deceitful people. Especially when they take advantage of the elderly.
I purchased a slingstudio mobile kit from Focus Camera, through Amazon, I was told that the package would get to me on July 14 2020, but I got it on July 2nd 2020.. Wow!! I said this was fast.. so started to open up the package to make sure all the contents are there, well one of the Item was missing from the package, So i called Amazon right away and explain what happened.. they sent Focus Camera a email about what happen, Focus camera emailed me stating that they will ship out the missing Item within 1-3 business days... So i email them back and all I was getting is automated email. today I got a email stating that their ware house had an issues that is why the order was missing an Item, So i should give them some time because the Item is on back order and until then I have to wait... This is what I called poor customer service or down right dont care about the people who spending their money, once they get your money they do whatever. My guts told me they sent me that package with that missing Item and if I had waited couple days to opened it.. it wouldve been on me... I had to call them .. why they didnt call me in the first place and let me know what the issues was gonna be... I hate online shopping this is what always happened and they have your money.. you have to wait...
If I could give zero stars I would!! DO NOT SELL YOUR USED EQUIPMENT TO THIS PLACE.This company is the most unprofessional company I’ve come across. I decided in my google search to sell my equipment with FocusCamera, they sent a UPS label and I shipped it on its way. The equipment was rcvd January 24th with an email that stated it would take 3-4 business days for a quote. Well an entire week passed and I hadn’t received a quote. I then had to call in MULTIPLE times to get ahold of the “manager” that would offer me a quote. He called and gave me an offer of $250 for a brand new EOS77D kit and two new Cannon lenses. Knowing my equipment was in perfect condition and is valued for much more, I declined this offer and requested my equipment shipped back. He then had me on hold for 30 mins, until I finally decided to hang up and call back. When I called back I was told I would expect a call back at the end of the day. NEVER RECEIVED THAT CALL BACK. Took another 2 days for me to get ahold of receptionist who apologized and reassured me that I would get a call. AGAIN never got a call back. So at this point I do not trust this company, I am getting the run around!! Would you? ... On Feb. 24th I had to get ahold of HR because no other department answers!!! I was then told I would get a call back from Ralph in the next 30 min because he was out to lunch ... YOU GUESSED RIGHT. I never got that call. So two hours later I call and am told he’s on a 15 min break but when I demand to speak with him he’s all of a sudden available ...(At this point I want my equipment back ASAP because my time is valuable and they wasted so much time) In speaking with Ralph I request for 2-day sipping and his first response was “That would cost too much money as we already spend money on shipping your equipment here”. (Considering the fact this company has been ignoring my calls, lagging on information and being rude, THAT is the least this company could do.) So by the end of this call Ralph assures me that it would be shipped out end of day and I would receive a tracking number. Can you guess what happened next? I NEVER RECEIVED ANY INFORMATION.Today is Feb 10th. It’s been more than 3-4 business days. I have wasted more energy and time in trying to contact these people for my equipment back! What kind of a company keeps a client in the run around for 3 weeks. I am sick of calling and getting told I will rcv calls back that never happen!! I have sent emails that do not get responded to!! I will try again this week and see if I can get my things to me ASAP, & if I get my equipment back in any shape that it wasn’t or one thing is missing I will be suing!!My advice to anyone reading this- DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
I ordered a frying pan from them. The pan itself was exactly as advertised. As for Focus, I really cant say much about them because of the simplicity of the transaction. I will say I would not hesitate to order again from them. I am giving them five stars because the price on the pan was really great.
I read some low star reviews about the French Rooster Cuisinart Flatware I bought through Amazon but at first glance it looks quite more than OK for the $50/12 place settings. Ive run through a regular dishwasher cycle just once to clean it up for use and so far so good. For $50 Im not expecting high end but the quality is better than $50. It comes with a lifetime warranty from Cuisinart.
I’m sure I’ll love the product...but the customer service from the seller is less than satisfactory. The only rep who went above and beyond to help me was Darnell. The company promised me next day shipping through amazon and then failed to drop the package off to UPS in time for it to actually make it. Because of this company I’m missing out on important work and having to find a place to rent a camera in a pinch out of state to get what I need done accomplished. The last request I made was for them to call UPS so I could have my equipment redirected to my hotel rooms since I’m out of state for work and they are unwilling to escalate this to someone with the authority to do so....the customer service lady that I spoke with was VERY rude and had no interest in letting me speak at all and felt her statements were much more important than mine, even before understanding what was actually going on. Darnell is a great customer service rep and I can only hope he finds a company to work for that compares to his service.Forgot to mention....I get an email AFTER my product has shipped to let me know that only half of my stuff was coming....this was NEVER mentioned to me beforehand and I was never asked if this was ok with me. This is an awfully big purchase to have such flaky customer service.

I had to buy a gift item and I therefore made my way into Focus as I understand they have quality products at affordable prices. The store was open and as soon as I came in the salesperson was there to help me and give me a wide range of ideas to purchase. I couldnt decide but he was professional and patient (with a sense of humor). I decided on a beautiful canon T3i kit which had a lot of accessories that were of great quality.I recommend this store for the selection,price, salespeople, and customer service I received. I dont know of any other store around that comes close.
Poor communications - Dishonest. Ordered some headphones. However their delivery was to long so I tired to cancel it, before it shipped. Nearly impossible to cancel anything. They told me via email that cancellations are effective only when they confirm them, not when you make them. And that policy statement happened to be THREE DAYS after my cancellation request. Read reviews a carefully. A lot of the good ones read like ads. The bad ones are filled with details.
Fantastic customer service.Pre-ordered Sony a6300 from another vendor and it ended up going on backorder.Saw it on FocusCamera website IN STOCK so purchased the Bundle (Thursday), which is the same price as other vendors with the Camera only.Contacted them via chat, and Ken replied assuring me it was indeed in stock. He told me it would ship Friday and arrive Monday. I was ok with that. Turns out he shipped it Thursday and it arrived Friday! Even better. And the Bundle came with a whole bunch of stuff. Sdxc card, tripod, bag, cleaning accessories, grip. I am 100% satisfied and will buy from again! Excellent !
Although I havet got a chance to buy some camera stuff from Focus Camera yet, I always heard that they are one of the best in the industry.Now thay have lifestyle products, which provide more choices for customer. I bought a snow helmet online but it is too small. I took it to the store on a Sunday trying to return it. However, I didnt know that I need an RMA number even I was returning in store. The stuff named Artyom was very nice and offered to keep the helmet for me to save me another trip, and call back the next day to provide him the RMA after reaching out to customer service. I forgot to contact customer service on Monday and Tuesday, but when I called on Wednesday, he immediately remembered me and helped me with the return. What a pleasant experience!
Worst online shopping experience! After ordering a camera on Focus Camera site, with the instant rebate of $50, which I paid trough Paypal right away, I called the store 2 days after to check the order status. The guy that answer the phone was emotionless! But he assured me that the camera will be shipped during that same day. Guess what, I got an email from the Paypal few hours later, that the payment was fully refunded to my account due to a listing error!!! No comments or apologies! I will highly recommend to everybody to avoid this store in general.
I was scammed by Focus Camera. I bought a camera kit via Amazon from Focus. One lens was broken. Focus would not allow me to send back just the one lens. They insisted I send the whole kit back for refund. It was SCAM. They stole 0ver 300.00 from me claiming I did not send back a lens and didnt have original boxes. I did have original boxes and sent back everything. These people are Liars and scam artist and I will not work with me to find out if it happened in shipping using their shipping process! I am so disappointed I waited 6 years to get a real camera and I got ripped off instead!

I had originally traded in a GH4 to get a GH5. Part of the deal was that the GH5 comes in different packages - I chose one that came with a bag and an SD card. I found out that they were out of an SD card, but that they would ship it to me.They took my information and said they would ship it. After hearing nothing for a week, I called and asked about it. Come to find out, my receipt doesnt even indicate this promotion - and then the link from their site for the deal was removed. Again, they said they would ship. I waited two weeks and nothing came.I then had to come to Brooklyn from upstate New York. I asked about my phone call and it didnt seem like anyone knew what I was talking about. I told them about this promotion and they finally gave me an SD card - come to find out its the wrong speed (they gave me the 90mb/s instead of 300 mb/s).The promotion was a good deal, however the difficulty in following up on to ultimately get the wrong product was such a hassle. I still would have done the deal since it was a very rare promotion but I dont think I would shop here otherwise.
Wow.... never have I dealt with such an unorganized feisty company before. Not only was the tv we purchased over a month late (totally ruined the bday surprise for my hubby), it showed up broken. So for over a month now, Ive been emailing and calling them to try to rectify the situation only to learn that Im going to have to eat the $400 I spent on the broken piece of crap they shipped to us. Because we were in process of moving, we had to have it shipped to our nephews house which was right next door. So UPS showed up at their door looking for the TV and because they didnt call first like they said they would, I couldnt meet them with the TV. So the latest call was from me to focus to try to get them to come out again and because I need UPS to call me before hand, Focus will not send them out again. The customer service person I spoke with rudely stated that it looks like fraud to them and therefore they will not send UPS back out and they will not accept their broken TV back. I would never EVER recommend them to anyone nor will I be using Ratuken again for any purchases. Little do they know that this family spends ALOT of money shopping on line and they just lost my entire familys business. Terrible Terrible Terrible....

Bad experience bought 3 stealth trailcams. Put them out in the woods on the edge of a swamp I want to hunt, went back a month later. All 3 cams defective thought it might be sd cards tried again same thing. All 3 cams were no good.told that the 30 day return policy was up left with 300 dollars worth of paperweights. Complete ripoff. Dont buy anything from this company.

Terrible experience!!!!!!! Avoid them!!!!!!!!!I placed an order of $600 Sony camera through Neweggs marketplace. Focus Camera was the seller. I chose to buy from them because they have a bundle and I thought Newegg was a reliable website. However, I was wrong. First I didnt receive the bundle as shown on the webpage but a camera w/ lens only. I wrote a bunch of emails asking for the bundle, but only few were replied. I called their customer service for several times (I tried very hard) but most of the times my calls were put on hold and then hung up unexpectedly. Their customer service is totally a joke.Now they refuse to send me the rest of the bundle and claim that I only ordered a camera w/ lens. Come on!!! Who would order less if they were the same price??? They asked me to return the camera if I felt unsatisfied with it, but if I return it, Ill have to pay the 10% restocking fee -- in this case -- $60. So I see the picture here: whether or not I return the item, theyll always be the winner. They can make profits from customers returns or from not sending out the bundles. Without the rest of the bundles, they actually over-priced their items, and I, the customer, was meant to be the stupid lamb who was intrigued by the fake bundles which never existed.Another thing to mention: when I received the package, the Sony camera box was not sealed with Sony tapes (or any other tapes). I asked Focus Camera whether the camera I received was opened box or refurbished, they claimed that because they purchased Sony products in bulk, the boxes were not sealed in order to be examined. They even asked me to ask Sony. So I did. From my conversations with Sonys representatives, they said that all Sony products were supposed to be sealed by Sony tapes under any circumstances, and if they werent, they could be refurbished or opened box. There, Focus Camera fooled me again.I feel that the whole experience was a scam/ fraud and sincerely hope that you will not have to experience what I went through. Now Im still in fight of the returning issues, sadly, but I still want to share my experience and hope that no more people will be fooled again by this deceiving store.
This place just very sketchy. I went in to buy a GoPro from these guys after seeing it for a much better price then B&H. I called and they told me yes we have it in stock come in. Once, I arrived they started pulling third party stuff from the shelves that was full of dust, after I showed the inventory list to the salesperson he tells me okay I dont have some of these things, but Ill give you this and that. Ultimately I walked out and went to B7H to buy it for a few extra dollars, but at least I knew it worked.I would think twice before you go to buy something there.
Ordered a camera package (Pentax K-50 for my daughter) that was advertised to include Adobe Lightroom 5 software. Several days go by with no shipping updates so I call and am given a tracking # that shows the item is out for delivery...great. Daughter gets the camera and all looks good except missing the Lightroom software. So I call again and am informed they will ship out the software. A week goes by without receiving the software so again I call and now am informed Focus Camera lost the licensing to sell Lightroom so they couldnt include it. No calls, no emails and they were still advertising the same deal days after they shipped my order! So I ask for them to discount my purchase price and they offer a meager $19.99 credit or I can return the camera.Obviously since they didnt ship the Lightroom in the 1st place, they knew they couldnt include it in the sale and still told me they would ship out a copy after my 1st inquiry. Very poor business practices and false advertising. Since I dont trust these guys, I wont be returning the camera and having to deal with this business anymore. We are now at 70 days and not only did it destroy our Christmas, but still no resolve or anyone to make this right. DO NOT DO BUSINESS THROUGH AMAZON they are a 3rd party like Priceline and will not take responsibility....so if the company will not and UPS will not you waste infinite amount of time trying to recover for a bill your are obligated to pay. I bought from them a binocular and returned it since I felt the magnification is not enough. it took them more than 2 weeks since i returned for a refund since I connected to them through various means and their customer service is not working. Dont buy from them unless you are sure, you are getting the right specs.
I purchased a high end Canon DSLR at a fair price. They asked if I wanted to buy an accessories. I declined and the individual behind the counter became aggressive saying that he would let me purchase the Dslr this time but I have to purchase overpriced accessories next time if I wanted to purchase from them. Very nasty. They lost my business. Its the end of the retail outlets anyway...Amazon, Ebay, and the countless other e-tailors are putting these guys out of busniess. Lets face it...If you know the quality of the product and the manufacturer warrenty covers the priduct why do we need these guys. B&H is different story. My wife purchased a camera (LUMIX GH5) on Amazon and once received, she realized shed be better off with the LUMIX FZ2500. After reading the negative reviews for focus camera and people not receiving their refunds in a timely manner, we decided to drive out to Brooklyn to return the camera personally. We are very glad we did. Ralph was awesome. He could have upsold my wife, but he didnt. He assured her that the GH5 was not what she needed and even took the time to show her how to get you the most out of the FZ2500. He started the return (Friday) and assured her the money would be refunded in 3-4 business days. Because she purchased on Amazon, she couldnt be refunded the difference between the 2 cameras, so she purchased the FZ2500, and 2 business days later (Tuesday), she received confirmation from Amazon that her return was successfully processed and she will be refunded the total amount, and by Thursday, the money was in her account. Dont let the negative ratings of the store keep you from a smooth, friendly, and helpful purchasing experience.

Called last week to preorder a new camera. Gentleman on the phone took my number and called me back a couple times to get my information and to tell me he would update me on the status of the camera. I called to get an update today and he told me that they didnt have my order because it was never preordered. Dont waste your time with these folks.

Before I placed an order online, I was assured by Max K, Focus sales associate that both Fujifilm X-T20 body and the 18-55mm kit lens are made in Japan. I told him that other online stores told me that the body is made in China and the lens made in the Philippines. Max K. told me that those were probably gray market products and all Fujifilm products they sell are Made in Japan.Got my orders a few minutes ago and sure enough, the body is made in China and the lens is made in the Philippines. Maybe theres nothing wrong having those products made in those countries, but intentionally giving false information just to make the sale is reprehensible!I used to order from Focus and they always deliver what they promised, but now that trust is gone.UPDATE: They rectified their mistake. The fact is, even in other stores (“brick & mortar” & online) both the camera and kit lens are made in countries other than Japan. They offered me an extended warranty to give me peace of mind.

2022-03-04I ordered the GVM 896S Led Bi-Color Light Panel Kit. There was nothing on the page indicating that I was ordering a refurbished, used, or otherwise not new item. It was merely on sale. But the item I received was scratched and had a broken screw in one of the threaded holes — a previously-damaged customer return?To their credit, Focus sent me a replacement unit, but I was disappointed to receive another refurbished/returned/used item. The packaging was previously opened, there is a sticker with a handwritten number on the zipper case, the barn doors are dented, and what really concerns me is that the power switch is jiggly and sticky.I was told they wont do another exchange so now my only option is a refund, and the item is no longer on sale. Basically, they swindled me. I will not buy from them again.

They won’t even take $I tried to make a purchase with a coupon code and this sites checkout kept giving me “internal server error” while using “affirm” They were closed all weekend and the price went up on Monday and the code expired so I also lost out on a deal I wanted to take advantage of…They need to fix their sites checkout system. I wasted a LOT of time of trying to spend money and could not even use it… I tried on 2 devices and the checkout was broken all weekend. Even the chatbor and site support methods failed… so sad :(

But what I have received is an used product that has been repackaged in an unsealed box.Second, they even repackage the product with the wrong model. I ordered the 80 ohm model, the box of the product also stated it is 80 ohm. But what actually inside the box is the 32 ohm model.Third, 2 days shipment delay.And now I need to waste extra time to print the shipping label and sent it to the UPS to return it.

When I saw one available at Focus Camera through Amazon, I called the store immediately. Gianna at Focus was very helpful and went out of her way to ensure a smooth purchase and delivery process.
