This place is always packed (at least when I am there) so be prepared to squeeze past people to get to the food you want. Sometimes theres a really long line for bubble tea sometimes theres a lot of people waiting for their order. There are 3 levels with seating and sometimes its not cleaned before you find a spot. But you can tell the staff there are trying to keep up so dont be too hard about it and clean up after yourself. Its nice spot to sit and talk with friends/a casual date/by yourself. Also you dont have to buy something to use the bathroom (3rd fl) if youre around the area and need to go.
Fast food with no service at all. But they asked for tip when you ordered and paid the dishes. Price is higher than usual fast food. Will not come back again. The food itself is so so. The only good thing is that you get your dish very fast, a typical character from fast food.
This place is a must-try. No, seriously. The Korean cuisine is not only authentic, but its delicious as well. My personal favorite part has to be the setting. The setting helps make this place shine. In Koreatown New York, this place feels like its straight out of Korea. That mixed with the food is what truly makes this a must-try place.
A local community spot popularized by caked in the shape of fish, this is the perfect place for someone to try out a variety of different foods! For those 21+, there is a vendor that serves alcohol. This 3 floor establishment with a karaoke vending machine in the back is the perfect place for a date, to bring friends, or to have a solo meal-like i did! I went for Korea House Kanoks chicken bibimbap, and its so delicious 🤤 if I could eat this everyday, I would. Other vendors also offer savory options as well but this vendor is my fave ❤️ enjoy your time at Food Gallery 32!
Amazing food hall. Wish I lived closer so I could come for lunch more often. We tried gimbap and some fried rice cakes and sausage. Gimbap ended up not being my thing but everything else was great. The options here were awesome. There is some seating on the ground level, the second and third levels are mostly seating.
Its cool for a quick grub. But not as far as that. The place looks messy, not too clean dont know how it works at the beginning. Easily gets crowded. Its like a store with lots of food stalls, mostly Korean. Has bubble tea (kung fu among others) and places to sit in that area and upstairs. Ive been to a place that sold homemade jjajangmyeon and it was very good. Big variety. Mostly good because theyre food stalls and thats not too common in NYC.
Wow, would never have found this place if it hadnt been recommended to me. Beyond the tiny doors are three floors of food, tables, and a karaoke bar. Enjoyed ramen, cold noodles, some kind of savory potato pancake and fish shaped rice cakes stuffed with red bean paste.Could use some additional walkway area and air conditioning, but hey - cant complain about the food choices!
No better place to eat than a food court. Usually go here with friends and order all different foods so everyone can try something different. I don’t think I have had anything bad here so you really can’t go wrong. The stand with the sushi has great rolls. Get one of their specialty rolls. The tacos with Korean beef are also delicious.
Great place if you don’t want to eat from one place.I went recently during covid, after the lockdown was over (obviously) the place is amazing, mama bunns are great, too heavy 1 is enough or 2 at max, I bought 6 😅 are for the next 2 days (I also got more food, I could have had all 6 otherwise, trust me).Sweet churros nyc is my all tine fav. Do try the chocolate almond one (I need one now)There is a great sushi place at the end of 1st floor, shrimp tempura sushi roll is the most delicious thing I’ve ever had, a great place to have some bubble tea, they also have sugar free options.Average cost is $20 per counter for 2 people, under $50 you can have a lot of food. They used to have seating inside, that’s not happening now, only takeaways.
If youre hungry! And cant decide where to go, along korea town. This place is perfect.Lots of choices, from rice bowls, to sushi, to ramens, stir fry noodles, steamed buns, dumplings, bubble tea, desserts and many more. Its a no fuzz one stop shop for all your friends and family to enjoy. Plus the value of your money is worth it.Big servings, good food, and you can socialize with other people. The only cons is, its a busy place, seats are often full but its really worth the try.
Is a place in the Korean town where you can find a variety of Korean and Asian food, so delicious and also you can enjoy to listen the music and videos from Korean singers. When you come to NYC don’t forget to stop to go to Korean town and enjoy the authentic Korean food.
This food market/hall was amazing! It was my first time in Korea Town and Im glad I chose to come here. There were so many options and variety. It was very crowded and popular. Prices were decent and fairly low and food was delicious. There were quite a few dessert places too.
Mama shop has terrific taiyaki but steer away from the croissant taiyaki because of no filling. We brought back the taiyaki to explain about themishap but there was alot of miscommunication with everyone and rushing by the staff. The staff replaced one of the croissants taiyaki but ended up not replacing the other one they took from us and crushed because of some confusion. They said that they wouldnt replace that one. But the one replacement croissant taiyaki did have more filling though.
Cute food court, with lots of Korean style options. The food is kind of mediocre compared to other things you can get in ktown but its fast service and accommodates large groups. I usually take people up to spot dessert to hang out after eating dinner somewhere else in the area. Restrooms are on the third floor.
So many options, so much delicious food!Desserts, tea and meals. It’s hard to find a place to sit most of the time, because the spot is really popular.I love the “Mama” place with their steamed buns and matcha cream filled “fishes”! Yum. They locate right at the entrance.Kung Fu Tea is also my go-to spot.3 seating floors✅bathroom
Oriental food court. Mostly Korean but also a good selection of Japanese and Taiwanese food stalls. Reasonably clean restrooms but very stuffy in the dining area in the summer. Unassuming store front opens to a large dining area surrounded by the food stalls on the main level. More seating on two additional levels upstairs. Drink stall and restrooms on the top level. Tables are kept clean even when the place is crowded.
This is in Manhattan, Korean Town.. A hidden spot, but when you find it,bring your appetite. When you walk through the door you think youre going to one restaurant but its not its many eateries not quite restaurants but more like street food setting but inside. There is launch community tables for anyone to say that the people are nice friendly they come around and clean you order your food you sit down anywhere you hang out and we just have fun. Have an open mind this is a Korean culture and the food is delicious delicious.
Its a small korean japanese chinese food court. i.e. food comes on trays if you eat in, then you need to find somewhere to sit, then take the tray when your finished to the cleaning station. Quick service, great for lunch or a quick bite. I got a poke bowl there. Good portion size, tasty and fresh, and came with a miso soup!
My friend visited NY for the first time and wanted to try this food court because she’s from an Asian country. We arrived and chose the one in the back straight ahead, I ordered a beef Pho and she ordered some noodles and it was the worst Pho I’ve ever tasted in my life. And I’ve tried Pho in many countries and restaurants in New York. She also confirmed that the food was not good at all. It looked like my mother’s soup that she makes when I’m sick. It was flavorless, and it wasn’t even served in a real bowl but in a take out container. The beef was not good either. A worker from the cafeteria was cleaning tables and asked us that we had to leave the table, very rude we didn’t even finish our plates that we had to leave. Worst experience ever in a food court I’ll never come back. My friend was also disappointed.
I have been here a few times. The things I like most are the bubble tea and fried chicken (on the top floor). You can also find a better variety of Korean alcohol (eg. soju) for slightly cheaper than from the neighbouring restaurants. However, other items such as the overly sweet topokki are a waste of both time and money. It can be hard to find seats here and you are expected to share tables with strangers. Given a choice, I would line up for BCD Tofu or Five Senses, which are both down the same road.
This was my first time ever experiencing a market like this kind. It had me feeling like I was on a street of Asia with different food vendors. I wanted to try everything but finally I decided to go with spicy rice noodles. That also included chicken which was super delicious. The chicken came with a pickled cucumber salad underneath that brought together the flavors of the meat. I also appreciated that there was bubble tea and a assortment of desserts.
I like to come here because it doesnt feel like New York. When Im eating from one of the numerous restaurants in this food court, I like to imagine Im somewhere in Seoul, a complete stranger in a foreign land. For good food, just head all the way to the back and order something strange. You wont regret it!
It has lots of seatings if you count all the flours. The mid level is considerably hotter than the top and bottom level. Try avoid it in the summer.Try two places here.Korea House:Order their seafood tofu pot. The price is good and the taste is right (have to say it’s hard to mess up the taste). However, I found the ingredients to be not very fresh. I left quite some oyster/clam untouched at the end. Also, the wait time is considerable. Would be hesitate to come back again as there are so many good places on the same street.Penicana chicken:Quality chicken with great flavors! Their boneless chicken got a whole chunk of meat with little breading, and it feels really fulfilling. It is made to order so the total wait time could be long when its busy, but nothing beats the popping hot fried chicken! My only complaint is that they dont have smaller portions. I ordered their half size and it was huge. It fed me both lunch and dinner. Probably I should opt for their one-person-meal instead next time, with fries, salad and less chicken. Overall I enjoy it!
Always amazing here! Must have been the twentieth time Ive eaten here over the past few years. (I live 3hrs away) I LOVE Korean food & everything I could ever crave is sold here. They have upgraded their offerings over the past year or so and there is now a cafe//churro booth, and a takoyaki booth! And KungFu, the bubble tea place, is THE BEST. Try the slushies!! When Im in the city for a longer period of time, Ill try the newer places. For now I stick to my staples :)
Love this place. One of the best places to eat in k town id youre in a hurry or cant pick what you want. Im a big fan of food courts and this is one of my favorites. I always go to the same spot. My gf told me its like korean children comfort food. Its the korean sushi with rice cake stew on the side. Its absolutely delicious when you dunk the sushi into the stew. Cannot recommend it enough. Its impossible not to find some sort of korean dish one would enjoy here. From ramen to pork buns this spot has got it all.
Very busy during lunch rushes but its quite mellow on other times. Lots of choices to choose from. From delicious ramen and bbq meats to niche korean picked cuisine are offered in the many different food stalls here. Prices are affordable and the venue is clean. You have to bus your own food tray after u are done though.
This place has great Korean food, good vibes, and affordable prices. There are several options to choose from whether youre looking for bubble tea, sweet churros, rice bowls, buns, or ramen. There is plenty of seating on all 3 floors. Theres also a karaoke bar on the 3rd floor. I would definitely come back to this place.
If you like Korean food and Chinese food and different type of cuisines like those then this is a good place to go they got a big food court in there with different restaurants boy when I mean they got two floors I think and they cook right there in your face on the spot yeah its official you know at least you know you can see them handling your food right there and you can watch them while you sit there and wait for your food to be done in the Chinese store right its something about some type of egg type roll where they put it on a grill and they take a wooden stick pour the egg on circular grill that they make they selfs and they put mad different ingredients on the stuff while its cooking then they fold it up and when they folded up at the end it looked like cake but its not cake its eggs and like parsley and green vegetables and all types of stuff is on it and they put like slabs of like chips on it like tortilla chips Chinese people are creative in everything I didnt taste it but it seems like its good cause a lot of people was ordering them
The food was good but the staffs were rude. I brought outside food but i wasn’t just going to eat the outside food. I was going to buy the food from here and eat it here. I wasn’t going to eat the food from outside and i told himm but he kept letting me put my food inside my bag. I couldn’t put it in my bag because if i did, it was gonna spill inside my bag.
Always a good place to go to for Korean food. Most of the food stands have amazing food. Definitely love Noona noodles and the desserts that they offer are great too. It can be pretty hard to find seating so please be aware of this, even though there is seating available on all 3 floors, but this place gets crowded easily.
My go to food place in KTown. So many different options and theyre all so good. Its usually crowded but there are seating options outside and indoors with three different floors so youll probably find somewhere to sit. I love Noona Noodles, its at the first floor towards the back on the right side. Amazing noodles and decent prices.
Whenever I went to food gallery 32 I used to go to this noona noodle shop. They used to have really good paper bom and now the case is not good anymore plus they charge me extra for squirt but one my plate that only have 5 small peace of squirt also I dont even see noodle 👎👎👎👎👎
So many restaurants in such a small space but not in a crowed way, more of an efficient way. You can try lots of different authentic Korean cuisines and the restaurants serve large portions of good quality food that is well-worth the cost. The whole area had a lovely urban vibe and even though wait times are a little long, theres plenty to do and observe while you wait.
Really cool food court with many different vendors selling Korean dishes. Many of the food places are reasonably priced. I dislike the staring the workers who speak Spanish give to customers. It’s kind of rude and makes it an unwelcoming experience to guests. However, their looks should not take away from the cultural experience of the food court.
I had an extremely uncomfortable situation happen here today on May 31st, 2021 at 8:15pm. I had a bad experience. I bought food from here and my sister had outside food. I know the respectful thing to do is buy food from the location to be able to eat here. One of the workers here on the 3rd floor seating area was giving us a hard time because of the outside food even though I bought tons of food here. There were other people inside here that had outside food too and the worker didn’t speak to them. I’ve been here a bunch of times and my experience was always good. I felt uncomfortable because me not looking Asian was targeted and others who were Asian that had outside food wasn’t spoken too. But the food was great I can tell you guys that, if it wasn’t for this situation I would’ve gave this established 4 stars.
Oh my, I loved this place it was very affordable, and it was firsg time eating Korean food! I loved it Ive always wanted to try Korean food , and the meat tasted pure not like American meat where they make the animals eat corn😒, but I really loved this place I plan to go on my birthday 😊🥰
I go here for pelicana chicken, Kungfu tea and the noodle place next to the stairs. There’s more seating upstairs for dine in guests. The place can be packed during lunch and dinner to late night hours. HVAC needs an upgrade too. It has poor exhaust system in place. If you stay indoors for a while, your clothes end up smelling like you’ve been cooking in their kitchens all day.
This place is always awesome as a spot to go to. There are lots of foods to choose from and plenty of seating available. I go here quite often and I always recommend it to people looking for some good asian food. Highly like, highly recommend. Also the stalls accept credit cards so thats nice too.
Tried the street food at Gochuchang and wound up throwing almost all of it out. Tteokboki was bad and tasted like it was boiled too long in anchovy broth with a pretty tasteless sauce. The kimbap tasted stale like it had been sitting out for a day or two. Sundae tasted like it was frozen and defrosted.
I would come here often times in the past because I’ve never had a bad experience and the food is ALWAYS great! I loved coming here to eat and for karaoke with friends but some months ago i experienced my first bad encounter. A worker gave me slack for bringing in some food that wasn’t from the cafeteria, mind you I had bought other food PLUS drinks there too. When that happened I was upset but I did try to understand that he was just trying to do his job. So I apologized and went back to finishing my food and left right after. Now every single time I eat there I know that I’m being targeted because the same guy comes over and tries to act nonchalant and looks over at us several times trying to see if we’re doing anything wrong. There’s been SEVERAL times that I’ve come here and there are people with outside food eating in there or with food from h-mart across the street and have nothing told to them. I’m not sure if it has anything to do with race but I know that EVERY SINGLE TIME I go, the worker is always looking over at us and making me and my friends uncomfortable. I still stand by the fact that the food is delicious because it is but the workers made me want to stay away from that place.
Best place to eat at in all of NYC! Yes I’m a foodie and I can claim this to be true lol. It’s an amazing food court with so many varieties of places to eat from. It’s Asian style food which is my favorite especially Korean and you can take a look at all the menus really easy. I always have a hard time deciding what I want but every time I go I try something new. They even have Kung fu bubble tea inside and a dessert spot.
Ok….disgusting bathroom. CLEAN THE BATHROOMS. You have too many customers to not hire someone for cleaning bathrooms and wiping down tables. This is terrible and unhygienic. Do the employees have to use the same bathrooms too because there’s no way they go in there and then come out and cook the food they sell to us to eat!
This place has all a foodie needs! It has multiple dessert places, like SPOT upstairs, lunch downstairs and bubble tea at ground floor for quick buys and go. There are bathrooms on the top floor and second floor. It can get crowded at certain times, but its a nice Asian crowd feel. The workers there are really nice too.
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!! Its a small food court with Korean food and theres seating on the second and third floor. Noona Noodles has THE BEST ramen Ive ever had for a great price ($10, AND it comes in a super big bowl) My other favorite stand is the one with Katsu but I dont remember what its called (its two to the left of Noona Noodles). There is so much to choose from, definitely stop by if youre in the area. I know for Covid, you cant sit inside but they placed a nice seating tent outside.
You dont know what it is, but you need something Asian. Then you came to the right place. Theres so many options for what to eat during lunch or dinner and even dessert. Prices are super reasonable and if you need to take it to go, their packaging is clean and organized.
Great variety of fast Asian cuisine focusing mostly on Korean and Chinese. Quality of the food varies but as long as you manage your expectations for a food court, its really not that bad.The vendors and setup have changed over the years but it certainly hasnt deterred the crowds that flock to this place during lunch hours. Its a bit chaotic on the ground floor with the a majority of the vendors/open kitchens mixed in with people waiting around for their food amidst the limited seating. Additional seating is available on the upper two levels though where its more spacious. Bonus for having Spot Dessert on the third floor!
What a treat to find this fun Food Court type place with a variety of Asian food. Our group was so happy with the choices. Two story level so there is enough places to sit and eat. It kind of has a cafeteria vibe to it. Not fancy but very good place for a quick bite of you are touring NYC. Wed come back here again.
This place can get very busy especially during lunch hour. It is a nice place to grab a quick bite. I got the half black bean noodle and chicken, which was okay. The service was fast & friendly. Finding a seat was not a problem, since people are constantly in and out. For dessert, I ordered the chocolate covered fish. I really enjoyed the custard inside each one.
Fantastic place to eat. I am not a New Yorker, but this is my favorite place to eat when I visit New York. Incredible variety of Asian food (mostly Korean but not exclusively). Busy, but not overwhelming. Surprising amount of seating for a limited space. Can’t be beat for great Asian food when you don’t need the whole sit down restaurant experience.
Asian food court with tons of variety in Korean fare. Flavors are amazing and portions and pricing are good. Food prep can take a while and there is competition for seating. The place is crowded and obviously popular. This just means they move a lot of product so the food is really fresh. A couple of dozen vendors to browse so its hard making a choice because theres so much to choose from that looks so good.
While I only went to the Buns stall/window to buy both a Steam Pork Bun and Red Bean Taiyaki, both at reasonable prices and amount to consume. Also delicious, definitely the Taiyaki. They also have a sitting place outside since this post is currently during the Covid19 epidemic. I cannot say much for the other stalls as they did not hold my interest long enough to try them, but I strongly recommend those that are interested in asian foods to try this place out. Quite the menagerie of food windows.
Excellent enjoyable a friend brought me here & introduce me ; the pelican chicken on top level did not like & was not impressed with their food at all; however most of the other restaurants in this serving space are great & offer tasty fair : so i will continue to return
Pretty good spot for a bunch of independent Asian food options. Only tried the Korean BBQ, which was great. The space could use more cleanliness for sure.[edit] A plate of half eaten food and dirty dishes sat next to us for an hour, and there was no body on general cleaning duty. Every vendor seemed to only care about getting the orders out, but all of the seating area seemed very organized.
The food gallery 32 is one of my favorite places to go in k town. During covid the whole street is blocked for outdoor eating. Food 32 is home to many restaurants such as a buns place, bings, bubble tea, fried chicken, spots desserts upstairs, and more !!I really like getting a taiyaki from downstairs and a matcha molten dessert from spot upstairs
All the food here looked so good, and I didnt really have to try that hard to find a booth/stand/restaurant that had a vegan-friendly option on a date. I think there is a fried chicken place on the third floor that lets off such a strong smell that his coat smelled like the stuff well after we left haha. Stay away from the second floor if youre not fond of it. :)
This is one of the coolest food courts ive been to! They is a wide variety of Asian cuisine to choose from and all at a affordable prices. There is a plenty of seating on second and third floor but it can get crowded at times. They also serve alcohol!Pro tip: if there is more than 1 in the party, find seats before buying food.
This is my favorite place to eat. You get a lot for your money. Food is always fresh off the stove. The best dumplings and teraki chicken. Deserts are amazing. Your good is always done fast. Great place to chill and eat. It is crowded, but depends more on when you go.
I love Food Gallery 32. It has various dishes that you can choose plus dessert and bubble tea. Pro tip: Weekdays besides Friday before 5pm is the best time to eat because youll definitely get a seat and fresh food. After 5pm or the weekend fri-sun are just a nightmare when it comes to seating and cleanliness. But its understandable since its the busiest days for them. All employees do speak or understand English so dont assume they wont understand you just because its Korean food.
So great for big groups. Lots of different restaurants in this cafeteria-style eatery. Everyone gets what they want, no need to split a confusing bill. Something for everyone from dinner, desserts, alcohol. Awesome K-pop videos on the third floor. Looove this place. Bathrooms a little gross tho
Great for a quick bite of Korean and other Asian food. Better for the variety and not necessarily the quality of the food. Prices are also quite reasonable, even cheap depending on what you get. Its also a young, diverse crowd, which has a lot of energy. So in sum, not perfect, but its such a great place to have in the area.
Nice asian cusine food courtGonna go ahead and say what every customer complains about..All for loud music and a good time but recently theyve been blasting music in front of their outdoor dining with really trashy speakers. Need to lower the volume or invest in a better sound system 😅
This is a great place to go for a quick meal if youre ever in K-Town and dont need to go anywhere fancy. They have a bunch of food stalls with Korean food on the first floor (as well as a Red Mango) and a small eating area. Theres a Spot Dessert on the top floor with very limited seating as well. Although its a smaller space the chances of you getting dessert and sitting is a lot faster than the flagship restaurant in the East Village. The quality of the desserts is the same so its a good alternative.
The food court is always packed, and its a tight space so I usually get it to go. Best for take-out lunch or a quick bite, and there are several vendors, each with large menus, so you can get almost any takeout-friendly Korean (or even Japanese or Chinese) dish you want. Also, the Kung Fu Tea is inside this food court.
One of my favorite places to go in the city. Just off the D train at Herald Square, this food court has an expansive (and sometimes rotating) selection of food stalls with all kinds of conventional Korean fare as well as more trendy Korean eats. This place is perfect if your group cant decide what to eat, because there is something for everyone. From small bites to trays laden with food, you cant go wrong at any hunger level. Dont leave without getting a small box of the fish shaped desserts!

2022-03-21Seoul - was by far the best of the restaurants inside this food court. Their quantity vs their rates were amazing and I loved the flavours in most of their dishes. 2 Levels of sitting place is great. But on weekends there still can be some wait time.

2022-02-07There really arent that many food galleries like this. This is a must-go place when I go to NYC. The food stores all looked good, and it was hard for me to choose where to eat. I loved the atmosphere with the music and the food place upstairs was so cute. They had Squid Game decorations at the bubble waffle place!

2022-05-15The food variety here is amazing, they got Korean, Chinese, and Japanese food. They also have KungFu tea and a soda bar. There’s 3 floors so a plenty of seating and food options. Definitely a one stop shop if you want to grab a quick bite.

2022-07-02Food court with a plethora of Asian food options, I had a hard time picking what to get! A bit crowded on the first floor but theres plenty of seating on the upper floors. Decor is cool too if youre into kpop.

2022-03-22If your looking for some quick, good and cheap food; welp Gallery 32 is your place. Best place in Alton by far when it comes to food variety, music and environment. I recommend the Chicken Katsu Rice 🍚

2022-03-23Overall, the food court has a nice selection of stalls and food types even though some of the spaces seemed to be closed. Seating was limited and the upstairs seemed to be mostly unused. The food my friend got was delicious, and so was the tayaki that I ordered. I hope more vendors are able to come soon!

2022-07-01Its a decent spot to grab a bite to eat. Price was a bit high but cant complain. More of a chill hang out spot than anything else.Got the Omelette Chicken Katsu at the spot all the way in the back on the left side first floor.

2022-05-27Authentic and delicious korean food. The place gets a little crowded especially during lunch time , but it’s to be expected from such a popular spot. Very filling meals. I reccomend getting the bulgogi tteokbokki from “ gochujang “ .

2022-01-10Wow, this place is super awesome! This is my new favorite Asian food court, several options to choose from. Big bowls of seafood noodles, fried delicacies, snacks and desserts this food court has many tasty options. They offer meal deals and lunch specials which is great. There are three levels of dining, and the third level has a few karaoke booths. The view from this level is very nice with big windows. Can’t wait to dine here again.
