1/14/2020Can’t say enough about this place having just return back to nyc and I had to visit my favorite store im hoping there renovations and restocking doesn’t take too long bc I’m back till March and I couldn’t think of shopping anywhere else!Keep it up I LOve Foods Supermarket and only positive vibes for your store your staff and all you continue to do for my local community8/12/19Just came back from vacation and my aunt and uncle are so happy! Thank you I Love Foods Supermarket for going beyond and over to accommodate them and make sure they get their groceries! Thank you for what you continue to do for this community! Don’t listen to the haters..... the Locals Love this place and you can see it by the neighborhoods loyalty to this store! This Store gets better & better. Friendly service Fresh Produce and I love all the new changes. Store is always clean but now their new produce section is so much more convenient to shop in and I just met the new night manager yesterday, who was super helpful.
I highly recommend people to purchase their groceries and produce here. Good prices for good products and their customer service makes me keep coming back to shop here.If you need help their employees are more than glad to help you. Store is organized nicely and always clean. Staff are very polite.
Cashiers was lovely to me convenient good selection produce i find always good quality and their prices are always reasonable. Parking is hard though but glad the R station is so convenient to this market.I did ask about an item they didnt carry - the next week the manager got it in the store! Its a nice market overall
Oh my god i love this store they have fresh meats, fresh produce with a very nice variety... a diverse staff, helpful and friendly. And honestly the best variety in beer in the neighborhood. And the prices are way better than these wannabe gourmet stores selling fake organic items in the same neighborhood. I recommend this store!
I Love Foods Supermarket is a tight knit and small family owned grocery store and indeed a pleasure to shop at. Ive lived in the neighborhood for the past 3 years and often shopped here but Ive become a regular customer mostly this past year because their selections keeps growing and getting better, which is a testament to how great it is to have this supermarket run by its owner. His often walking the store greeting the customers, hes very accommodating. I know he has to myself and to some of my neighbors, with certain products weve happen to asked for out of their ordinary selections. Unfortunately this neighborhood has more than a few unrudely people Ive seen the owner occasionaly deal very professionally with difficult customers, but you cant please everyone!Im so happy to have a local store like this one to shop in and there is much to say in the personal shopping experience the store gives its customers! I highly recommend shopping here, its clean, well lit, their dairy and meat selections are great. The cashiers are very helpful and i love the free delivery and phone order free features.
Impressive! From the exterior its a bit misleading this store IS BIG! and has all that I need. Deli food looks & smells amazing, good produce variety and Ive recently notice they are very consistent with their prices and their selections of goods. An extra plus, its conveniently right off the R train station!
The deli man is freakn super slow. And its hard to understand him. The meat* never buy! Never fresh...they advertise products on sale they dont ever have! They are getting 2 stars because they have very friendly great cashiers exceot for 1. Produce guy diesnt want to be bothered. Prices are often missing off products. They dont keep boxes of beer in fridge , yuck.. ..I ONLY go there when i dont feel like walking to stop n shop....

My first experience was a few years ago and when i heard they were under new management now i shop here whenever I can! When I’m working around the area this is my spot! The convenience rules combine with their improved selections Great selection of prepared lunch & the fresh bread selection is awesome! Nice job for a grocery store
I only come to this supermarket in case of emergencies. I do not buy meats here. Staff is is unfriendly and unprofessional where one time a cashier was kissing her boyfriend while working....I couldnt believe it. I have been in this area for years and witnessed this business go under new management soo many times but it just cant seem to make it work.
I was ready to make dinner and I started chopping the lettuce and saw some black marks towards to center so I decide to chop the next bunch and again same issue and on the third one I chop it at its core and find this black mark. I dont know what this is and I can assure you I definitely wont be buying from here again. Cheap things come at a price.
WORST customer service! The cashiers do not want to work, and when they do work, they can have so much attitude. Often theyre conversing with their friends in their native languages or fellow employees indicating their too busy to focus on their customers experience. The supermarket must not pay their employees enough because the people who bag your groceries are often hinting for cash tips. Theyll either shake their tip jar, or accidentally knock it over while giving you your bag. They might even count their tips while youre checking out. Youre better off going to Stop-n-Shop or Vitality & Health down the block who are very friendly and are not trying to shake you down for little pieces of cash.
This place is truly awesome.. Very clean and the layout works well.. Many specials on various different items... They have a huge selection of all kinds of foods... Finally they have a cold and hot food section.. The food is prepared and cooked on the spot and brought out fresh. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner... what more can you ask for.
Hii Guysi would like to say that i like this place because its organized well and we can find there all what we need and what i want also to mention that You guys have really nice DELI Department, making delicious sandwiches, salads and nice cold cuts and hot sandwiches and also the most nice that the guys at the Deli always smiling and helpful.Thank You Guys and God bless You
Im a regular client in this super market. Everyone has its way of thinking but for me the customer service its amazing, and the prices are great. Theyre like a family and they make it show. They allways are there to help you, even if they see you without a cart or a basket they ask if you need one or in need of anything else.I have had times that I dont have the exact change and the cashier added change from her tip jar to close the sale. With that I can include to say that theyve never asked me for cash tip money or shaked the jar, nor dropped the jar or any of those bad comments to get me to give them cash tips. The woman that normally packs its an 60-ish lady that maybe; yes! She can talk a lot but, hey! its an old lady working to live and pay stuff. And in adition, talking in native language its nothing bad it can sound even like and insult, we (native talking people) talk two languages and if thats bothers you, so so sorry for you! Go to school and learn!
Gray supermarket and amazing international selection of food and vegetables and fish and meets So much variety that you can believe it so be prepared to spend lotta time enjoying walking down the alley and check all their products the they have very clean and very well manage I’m so happy the this place is in my neighborhoods great place which so much variety.
The store is always cold there employees walk around with coats the meat looks old the bread is always hard some of the can goods are expired there’s hardly no food in the freezer the vegetables always look rotten I wish board of health shutdown this store I’ll rather walk down the block to shop and stop
Excellent culinary, olfactory, visual and additive experience!!! A trip to Mexico!!!Impeccable service!!!We ordered crab and shrimp pastries for starters. Which by the way caught my attention because they are whole jumbo shrimp!!! Unusual thing in Brazil!!! The salmon was divine with steamed vegetables and al dente!Very good prices, very popular!!!

2022-05-08This supermarket is terrible I purchased chicken three times from them each time it was spoiled . The meat if not sold looks like they cut it up and resell it . The beef was extremely poor cuts of meat as well. The color literally was brown. And to top it off they give you no bags not even paper bags. Seems like their main supplier is china …. Go to Stop and Shop this supermarket is the worse. I don’t even wanna give them 1 star . Janky Supermarket. Do not buy the meat

2022-03-25Stocked isles, friendly staff. This is an okay place if you just need to get some last minute groceries. Meat is good and produce is for the most part fresh but could be better.

2022-05-17The pkg of grass fed kobe beef sliders I bought yesterday May 15, with an expiration date May 24 2022, are moldy and brown spotted. Threw them out!

2019-03-29After adjusting to my new commute to Astoria I found this store it’s right off the R train stop and about 8 mths ago I walked into I Love Foods Supermarket and since! it’s been my store! Well at least on weekdays.Always clean, great service and I like their Great Rewards program. Shout out to the Deli staff they always make the best lunch specials. If only I lived in queens it will be my Go To! But now before I know it I’ve done my weeks grocery shopping because on daily basis I’m here now! Friendly manager & cashiers too.

2018-06-24A smaller market compared to the others in the neighborhood but I love it because its managed very well! Well merchandised, well stocked. It’s conveniently right off the R train stop and the staff is friendly. It’s always good for my big shopping days and my dash in and out ones. They have a great Full-service Deli it’s always fresh and clean. Good place to shop overall and friendly.

2018-07-25Great local supermarket family run and owned. Staff is very helpful especially when I call in my shopping order for delivery it helps with 2 small kids at home!Their daily fresh bread is deelish! Great selection of food and mom friendly when I do go in I can always easily maneuver with my kids stroller. Prices on produce are cheaper here like anywhere else you have to price compare i find their prices much fairer than at other nearby grocery chains.

2018-09-13This place is smaller than it looks. I wasnt impressed with the selection or quality of there produce. Forget about the meat here. Much of it looked well past fresh, grey/brown spots on the beef. My overall feeling was I should stop somewhere else for wet-goods..Update: 9/10/18. Gave this place another chance because we passed it while walking home from best buy. I cant say it changed much.. The produce selection is still pretty mediocre, but ok for common stuff. The meat section freshness appeared to be improved since my last visit. I found a good looking pork shoulder and put it my basket. Then I looked at the top shelf above the pork and there, staring me right in the face, was a package of breaded chicken nuggets covered in green and purple MOLD SPOTS.. Its impossible to miss really. Go there now, probably still sitting there. I put my pork shoulder back and left. Time to retrain your meat department staff.
