I pre-order the steak dinner which was decent. The steak appeared to be a medium rare color on the inside, but the meat was a bit tough and it could have been seasoned better. The sides, baked potato and green beans was the best part. The dessert was a take on strawberry shortcake, but I believe they used a biscuit that seem to be a bit dense. Definitely wouldnt even consider them for catering.

We just had Forest Hills Catering cater our sons graduation party. They were on time and set up was quick. The food is amazing and they give plenty. Everyone at the party loved the food.

Forest hill catered my cocktail reception following my wedding. They did perfect!! I picked the stations package since there was no formal seating it just made more sense to me. It was so amazing, there was a pasta station, mash potato bar, carving station, etc. Every person complimented the food! There was also a ton of food, my guests were NOT hungry! Peg was great to work with and experienced. She was professional and got back to me quickly when I had a question. I highly recommend for your wedding or events!

The first thing our guests complimented us on was the food at our wedding. The cheese and cracker table was overflowing and set up so beautifully in front of the bar area. The guests thought the grazing stations was a unique and well executed idea. The food variety from the flavors, presentation, temperature was nothing short of perfect. One guest said, “Not only was the food great but the grazing stations were an amazing addition. We were both shocked at the quality of the food”. Another, “The wait staff were very capable.” I was also told, “I went to a high-class black tux wedding last weekend and the food was nothing compared to this food”. A few of the staff members came up to me periodically throughout the evening to ask if I needed a plate of food or a drink. They understood how difficult it was to get away from socializing. I have not one complaint. Just high appreciation and gratitude for what Forest Hill Catering did for me and Colby on our most special day.

The initial contact and setting it up was great (over a month prior to the event) However, there was almost no communication until the afternoon the day before the event. I had made multiple email and calls and got almost zero response. The person in charge was on vacation but it seemed like no one was covering. Then when the event came, they added extras which cost more, which I did not order, and trying to reach out for my deposit and refund for the extra is impossible. I would not recommend

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Peg and the rest of the Forest Hills Catering crew. They catered our wedding in November at the Blue Barn Cidery. We had a few non-traditional, last-minute requests that Peg accommodated graciously. Everything was delicious; our guests are still raving about the Chicken French! The service was impeccable; Peg and her staff are so kind and ensured my husband and I, and our guests were well taken care of all night. Look no further for a caterer!

Mike and Peggy from Forest Hill came through huge for us on our wedding day. Thank you both so much! Everyone is telling us how awesome and delicious the food was. The servers were absolutely fantastic. We give Forest Hill 5 stars and 4 thumbs up.

We used Forest Hill Catering for a work luncheon and everyone absolutely loved it. Simple cookout food, but it was very tasty and seasoned well. They accommodated us so well with multiple deliveries and on-site cooking. It was awesome! The price was definitely reasonable for the amount of food we had and all the options we were given. Will be using them again very shortly.

We recently got married, and had Forest Hill cater our lunchtime reception. We had known of them from previous events through the University of Rochester and we found their prices very appealing! They were absolutely wonderful to work with, and the day of the wedding they completely surpassed our expectations - the food was incredible, with plenty for everyone to have multiple helpings, and the employees not only cooked the food but watched over the chafing dishes to keep them full and hot, and they also cleared plates for people and were incredibly attentive to my husband and I to make sure that we were satisfied. They even helped us out by being available to cater breakfast the day after the wedding when we discovered that our original breakfast venue was going to be too small - we contacted them in desperation two weeks prior to our wedding and they were very accommodating and made the whole process very simple! We would absolutely recommend them for any catered event!
