Great little Latino run bakery and deli. I’d often stop here in the morning or afternoon to pick up some pan de queso and a coffee. They have a deli for hot or cold sandwiches, subs, paninis etc too. The people who work here are so kind and polite. They have a counter area to sit at by the window.
The sweetest staff in the Heights! It smells amazing in here always and you won’t find a better croissant in NYC. Their pan de muerto really is to die for- I don’t know how I lived without it. There’s no better breakfast spot in the Heights.
I love this place everything here is fresh the croissants are buttery the sandwiches are amazing the baked goods are the best Ive had in a real long time try the carrot muffins they are the bomb great friendly staff and they deliver which is great
Great place to have a sandwich or a bagel . I like there almond Danish and apple turnovers . The bacon , eggs and cheese on a roll is good . The caffee is not bad . Friendly service and fast delivery

I grew up coming to this bakery. but moved and didnt come back for a while. I visited the other day for their amazing crossaints and they were still amazing but the thing is the owner the lady thats always there in the AM , keeps over charging 1 dollar more etc. people in a rush dont notice but i did. the other day i went by order a sausage egg and cheese. which is 3.75 i told her i wanted a extra sausage which in their menu it aays 1 dollar extra...she charged me 1.75 extra for that sausage. yes its only 75 cents but if you do the count to whoever she keeps doing this to which is more likely rushing people or people she dont know. just be on point with their menu prices and what she charges you because they do charge tax ...smh. ridicolous but afterall freat bakery but i just think they are tooooo money hungry.
This place is always great for a breakfast sandwich. Lots of people go here. The baked goods look delicious as well.
How are you going to charge me six dollars for this sandwich is just cream cheese and baconWhen I can clearly get it at another deli for 23 dollars I think it’s only because this is a business that is on Fort Washington sure it’s more expensive and the lady at the front gave me an attitude just because I had asked her why is it six dollars and she got real smart with me

Great neighborhood place! I like their quesadilla, its a healthier variety with very little cheese and fresh jalapenos.

2022-04-07I have mixed feelings about this place. I have always ordered breakfast and quesadillas but the one time I order a sandwich for lunch they absolutely got it completely wrong. I understand mistakes are normal but when I get blamed for their mistake it’s another thing.

2020-05-27Ive lived in this hood for 17 years and Fort Washington Bakery and Deli has been my go to for bacon, egg, cheese, mayo and avocado on a roll. Simply delicious but the true draw is the chicken torta. I have tried to find a better torta throughout the US states bordering Mexico....but the torta in Washington Heights is still the best. No kidding. Cash only and truly delightful staff.

2020-02-19This Latino run deli and bakery is around the corner from me.They have the best bagels in the area hands down! The service is friendly,fast and efficient.They never screwed up my order and its always cooked well.Ive had a few muffins that were delicious but could have been fresher.Ive also had their monster chocolate chip m&m cookies and they are delicious.They get crowded but Im usually walking out around 5 mins average with my goodies.

2018-05-22Every time I visit NY, I get a Cuban Sandwich with fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast!Simply amazingly satisfying! Highly recommend if you are in Washington Heights. Good service, good people, wholesome food.

2019-03-24Firstly, they cook bacon on the grill early morning to semi afternoon. Secondly, some orders they microwave. And thirdly, their bakery selection. Is pretty cool but not all of it is made their. Food is ok. Always busy but not always a good thing if the cook is working under pressure and could mess up your order or things arent cooked fully. Its an ok place. Not exactly my top 3 options.
