We have been shopping for backyard furniture for a while. Walked into the fortunoff backyard store with no expectation to buy. But, instantly fell in love with a piece. But, it was pricey, so needed to be sureJoy was a great help. She was incredibly patient, since we kept going back and forth.She seemed very sincere in her advice.She worked with us in getting the right piecesWe made the purchase. But, when we got home, we realized couple of pieces were too big for the arrangement we had in mind.Called Joy and she was extremely helpful in allowing us to add and subtract pieces to our satisfaction.A great experience so far.Looking forward to receiving our furniture in about a month. Stay tuned for updates...
Nice items, but after walking up to a number of representatives, no one was available to assist us. We figured it was because they had minimal staff and it was the last day of their Easter Sale. We took photos of what we wanted and left. We will try again during the Memorial Day sale.Update: We called about a week ago regarding the same items we saw in the store during the Easter sale. We attempted to try to speak to a sales person on the phone to complete our order. We were told all of the sales people on the floor were busy and they would take our name and number so someone could call us back a little later. Its been a week since that call and not one person has called us. The customer service at this place is horrendous.
A very friendly and knowledgeable saleswoman, Susan M. who was not aggressive or pushy at all. Just helpful! We had a very pleasant experience here and without hesitation would recommend others to shop here. There is quality merchandise here that is not inexpensive-the sales and clearance items tend to be the best deals! We are thrilled with our purchase!
Rodney and Theresa were both very professional and extremely helpful and patient with me. I made several changes to my order and method of payment. They handled it all perfectly. I also showed up right before closing twice because I got stuck at work and they all worked together to process everything. I can’t say enough about them and the manager that was involved.I love the quality and selection at the store. It’s true what they say ... “You get what you pay for”.I bought a wicker set from Fortunoff’s in 2002 and it still looks fabulous. I’m sure my new set will look great after 18 years as well.
I’ve been looking for an outdoor wicker set in Grey for the past year and when I heard that there was a sale at Fortunenoff in Westbury I went there and the most amazing professional and courteous sales man by the name of Jay Kessler helped me make my decision without any pressure and the experience today was very successful and I was so happy ! Jay was knowledgeable and a real terrific salesman !I can’t wait to get my new outdoor furniture!
The Westbury Store is fantastic and the staff is excellent!! Plenty to choose from and the sales associates are always willing to ensure you get the products you want. Shopping at the Westbury store is a MUST if you’re in the market for anything from the Fortunoff Backyard Store
We were very pleasantly surprised by the attention we received. We wanted to return a table almost 3 years after we purchased it due to peeling. No problem! They are replacing it with a bigger table of our choice at no extra charge. That is taking care of customers I don’t often see!
We just had terrace furniture delivered today that had been ordered at the Labor Day Sale. The communication was clear, they were very efficient. They told us yesterday our delivery window was between 2 and 6 PM, the furniture was on our terrace by 2:20. We were able to hop in the car and run out to the Backyard Store on Old Country Rd. to buy a furniture cover. Our furniture is winterized and user ready for spring. Everything worked out very well
We purchased an Outdoor Seating set (7pc) at the Westbury Location during the grand opening sale. Showroom was bright and well organized. Our Sales person, Joy F., was a pleasure to deal with. She was well informed about product, very personable, very helpful mix/matching the various pieces and finalizing the sale. We delayed delivery, no problem. We would highly recommend to those looking for outdoor furniture.

We went to this store 3 times in two weeks and requested her to assist us each time. The sales personnel were great. They took the time to make sure I was pleased with my purchase. They had a good selection of Christmas items, but maybe because it was laid out differently this year, the inventory seemed less than last year. I preferred the layout last year. I would recommend going there if you’re in need of Christmas items.
Amazing customer service from Anthony. I understand that during these times it has been difficult to place order through phone and everyone is doing they best. Anthony took my order promptly, help us save money, set up fast delivery and overall made my experience run smoothly. Thank you very much. We spent quite some time in the showroom as there are many styles of furniture to peruse. We did shop at the end of season, so once we selected our set, the stock was limited. Our sales associate was helpful, but no intrusive. She would bring the chair that we liked to other sets, since the matching table was unavailable in the size we needed. She was amazing! Never once, did we feel we were a bother or annoying and we were having trouble finding a set we both liked. WE left very happy with our selection and delivery was scheduled within the week. (I would have dinged them a star for availability, but the lack of stock is expected at the end of season.)
Amazing service and recall on the part of sales associate Teresa C., whod helped me months before. I called to make an additional purchase and she was completely and instantly all over my request, special ordering item, which was no longer in stock at Westbury store, and arranging shipment. Highly recommend!
My husband Anthony and I are so happy we decided to go to the Backyard Store in Westbury. We had the absolute pleasure to work with Joy in helping us choose the best purchase for our needs. Joy was extremely professional, knowledgeable and patient. She answered any questions we may have had and was extremely thorough in explaining product details. JOY FELDMAN is the best!! She spent so much time with me, answered all of my questions, helped me think through various options, and through it all, her warm, kind and patient demeanor was clearly evident in her character. What touched me the most is that Joy refused to take any credit for the sale. I went in the store earlier in the season and had another salesperson’s business card (she wasoff today). With all the time Joy spent with me, I insisted that she deserved the sale. She kindly refused. Then I insisted that she at least split the sale. Again she kindly refused. I couldn’t believe it. In this world we live in, where every man is for himself, Joy was all about being part of a team and refused my countless requests to get credit for the sale. I just couldn’t believe that for someone who was not getting any credit for a sale, would spend as much time and care as Joy did - with a beautiful and kind smile the whole time. It was both heartwarming and refreshing. As a consumer I sincerely appreciated such an amazing example of selfless work ethic. Thank you, Joy!!!!
I have to give a huge thank you to Suzanne and her manager Arty. Suzanne was great! I went to Fortunoff and found two patio sets that I was very interested in. Suzanne took her time and was very patient with me because I could not make make up my mind on which set I wanted. I cannot tell you the amount of time she took with me. With her insight and expertise I was able to decide on the Provance set which I absolutely love and adore! I couldnt have made a better choice! . It looks awesome on my balcony and I cannot wait to fully enjoy this set with some friends and a nice glass of wine! :-) I also have to give a huge thank you to Arty because he really went above and beyond to make sure that I was a satisfied customer. Had some hiccups with Citibank and their fraud dept. While in the middle of my Fortunoff transaction Citibank blocked my account!! They placed a block on my account because according to them I do not make large purchases such as this. However, Suzanne and Arty worked relentlessly to make sure that this purchased happened. I highly recommend this location to my family and friends and anyone looking for someone to that will take the time to mill over all of the sets they have in the store and will not rush or force you into a purchase that you are not sure about. I will be back because I have my eye on a few more items. Thank you all again for a pleasant shopping experience!
The staff was kind and courteous, but I was disappointed that Fortunoff would not stand behind the product it sells. I purchased a complete outdoor table set with seating for 10 and an umbrella 10 months ago. In less then a year, the pole for the umbrella bent. instead of replacing the pole, I was told that I needed to place a special order, pay for the pole, and no one could tell me when I could expect the pole to be delivered. Furthermore, instead of having the poles sent directly to my home, I was told that I would need to pick it up from the store unless I wanted to pay an addition amount for shipping.
Was directed by Customer Service Department to call Westbury Store directly to place my order, as I was having difficulty placing order online to receive advertised discounts. Was directed to Westbury Store, where employees were rude, nasty, argumentative, and disrespectful to me. They didn’t seem to understand I was the customer and wanted to spend my money for advertised online sale items. They begrudgingly agreed to call Customer Service themselves on my behalf and after they did so, I received all online advertised discounts Customer Service stated I was entitled to, but Westbury Store Staff were beyond unpleasant, angry, rude, disrespectful, and created a lengthy unpleasant negative shopping experience for me. Customer Service validated all discounts for me and Westbury Store staff then placed my , again, begrudgingly so, and only because of Customer Service Interventions. Too much work to shop and enjoy!Altogether a totally negative and frustrating shopping experience while placing a $1000.00 plus order which took hours to do and was beyond disappointing. I am used to coming away from a Fortunoffs shopping experience happy and well beyond satisfied. Clearly those days are gone. Manager and staff at Fortunoffs Westbury don’t seem to value a customer, a sale, or customer loyalty. Let’s see how that works for them going forward. I will not return to Fortunoff’s anymore. Lots of other options out there now. I was just loyal. I learned a lot today about Fortunoffs Westbury and glad I had the time to do so. I’ll spread the word.
Customer service manager Natalie has refused to return a phone call after 4 weeks and multiple calls. The first rep we dealt with told us to “deal with it” regarding our issue of our backyard table discoloring after one month of purchasing it. Now the leaf extensions and our table no longer match. Stay away from this store..
BUYER BEWARE! Absolute worst customer service! The quality of product has significantly declined. They do not stand behind their products. I purchased an umbrella less than 2 months ago ...a defective umbrella that cracked and nearly hit my son. The customer service representative was not helpful and the store manager did nothing. I had been a customer for 20 years but no longer.
Set of patio chairs became moldy during second season. Art Daley submitted a warranty claim on my behalf. Despite claim being originally declined by the manufacturer, Art persisted on our behalf and got me a full exchange for a new set of chairs at no cost. Quick and no hassle service was much appreciated

Thank you to Anthony and Joy for assisting us in getting the replacement table and umbrella...I need to update a recent post regarding our Fortunoff experience...We had ordered outdoor furniture from Fortunoffs and had an issue. Then the extended warranty company said they do not cover the problem. Anthony Cavaco the customer service manager saw the negative post and immediately reached out to us to rectify... He did so with much patience and understanding and wanted us to be happy with our outdoor furniture... Understand we loved what we had originally chosen. It just was not wearing well. He had us go to the store and choose a new table and a new umbrella for the replacement.Thank you Anthony!Joy, our sales person was extremely helpful and worked with us to get what we needed for the replacement... Looking for a 10 x 13 Umbrella. Went to Lake Grove and was told none in the system and no idea if and when they would be ordered, Was told that Westbury might have a floor model. Bebe on the phone was useless, but fortunately passed the phone to Karen who was a Superstar! Karen found the floor model which was the last one of its kind in all of the world of Fortunoff, and it was still in the box (a.k.a. NEW)!. She patiently waited while Citibank (horrible bank service) kept declining my card. She had the umbrella on a dolly ready for me when I showed up. Kudos to Karen for great customer service while all other business are using COVID-19 as an excuse for poor customer service.
The sales tax for Westbury Long Island is 8.63 not 8.875 I was charged on my purchase of1442.50 sale tax 8.875% = 128.02 which is wrong sale tax should have been 8.63% = 124.49 for 1442.50 over charge of 3.53 on my purchase was in Westbury so sales tax should have be 8.63 % I want a full refund of 3.53Sales invoice # 10234440 SLM1 I asked sale person about sale tax be for I made the purchase when I got home I see the sale tax is definitely wrong on my invoice
One of my favorite places to go to during the holidays. They have the most amazing christmas displays, even if you dont intend to buy anything, definitely go just to see how beautiful the setups are. They have an entrance on the outside near dave n busters and they also have an entrance inside located near the carousel.

2022-01-09The sales clerk was very friendly and helpful. We purchased the floor model of a Christmas tree at 75% off. Great deal! They dismantled the tree and placed it in the car. That was very appealing. Unfortunately, we went in for lawn furniture. But the prices were extremely inflated so we didnt purchase what we came for.

2022-03-28We ordered backyard furniture from Fortunoff in May of 2021. We finally got a delivery date, today March 27, 2022. When we ordered the furniture, we were told it would be in September 2021. So we have been waiting 10 months for this furniture. I understand that could be out of their control but they never called to update us or let us know anything. I kept having to call.Fast forward to today, my delivery was scheduled between 12-4. As of 6pm, still no furniture, as I have been waiting home all day. At no point today did I get a call letting me know of the delay. I finally got through to someone and she informed me, “we don’t know where the driver is so we can’t update you.” It is totally absurd that they cannot simply call the drive to find out his location and update their customers who are paying thousands of dollars for patio furniture.

We had been in at the start of COVID nearly 2 years ago and she was quick to remember and greet us once again. 2021-12-02A lovely salesman (Ed Renne) helped me to find an amazing deal on the outdoor dining chairs I wanted. He honored a discount that had just expired because the sign in the store window hadn’t been taken down. I am looking forward to getting the chairs!
