Well we past this store a lot and never thought of stopping until today. We both Christmas lights for the front of our home. The moment we enter the store, we we greeted with a warm welcome and was directed to the merchandise. Let me mentioned how beautiful the decorations were and priced not that expensive. Thank you for making our shopping experience great. Great customer service as well.
My husband and I had a lovely experience at the central Ave. location in Yonkers. Our sales person Micha was extremely helpful and very patient with us! Not only that- she was so nice and kept us laughing through the process! Thank you Micha! E look forward to getting our new deck furniture delivery!
Phil was super knowledgeable and helpful with our backyard dining set. He made the process very easy for my wife and I. Would definitely recommend him to anyone in need!
Christopher took care of us at the Yonkers showroom and gave us his undivided attention. He was very professional and thorough and he definitely knew the product pieces (which is often a rarity these days.) Great customer service. I felt important and didn’t mind spending quite a bit of money because of the pleasant experience.We love the 4 piece set we got for our new balcony deck! Thank you. We can’t wait for it to arrive in a few days.
I dont typically come here often. But once year for Christmas shopping. The products are phenomenal. They are of great quality and look very appealing. However, the staff usually doesnt care to talk to me nor my wife. Usually if and only if, we ask a question or there is no one else in the store. In most cases it seems as if they are only inclined to speak due to us being customers. I would absolutely recommend the store for quality Christmas decorations... Other than that... Pass.
I was very happy with both the in-store help I received ( Fortunoff Backyard Store, Central Avenue, Yonkers, NY) from Micha Kazan and the delivery people who were on time, polite and did their delivery properly.
I was looking for a settee, two arm chairs, and a coffee table for my deck. The location is fine, the sales reps were fine, the store layout was fine and the selections were fine. However I was disappointed because the prices are just, in my opinion, unreasonable. I understand the pendemic has risen costs of all types. However a new deck set is not a necessity. Theres a sign on the window of the store which reads you have 48 months to pay off a patio set that should have been red flag for me. I actually found a really nice patio set for a very reasonable price and good quality at Home Depot. By the way they already have the prices marked down so theres no room for haggling.

Salesperson seemed annoyed to help me. Had to get a different person to help. He then passed me back to the annoyed one to write up the purchase. Really unpleasant.Delivery was a disaster. I was supposed to get an assembled umbrella with the rocks for the base I now have two boxes unassembled in my backyard and hopefully they will come back in two days and assemble it and add the rocks
I was able to find the perfect tree and a few cute porch decorations as well. The staff was incredibly helpful and the prices were reasonable.
Micha Kazan, our Backyard Specialist, was wonderful! My wife and I went to the store 3 times before we made our purchase. She asked us to take picture and bring measurements. Each time we find some different that we like. Micha was patient and gave us good ideas each time. We are very pleased with the service and glad went went there!!Thanks Micha.
The young man who helped me was extremely personable and helpful. He made sure I was aware of all the items that might be suitable for outdoors. He even helped me carry box to car and informed me of coming sales on patio furniture. I have not been at Fortuniff’s in years but his service encouraged me to return.

As a young girl i used to go with my mother, aunt and grandmother to Fortunoff in White Plains. Very often. It was always a wonderland going to the Christmas section. I am so happy to see even though they closed their doors in white plains they remain to hold on to that tradition in the Yonkers location. I think they should offer more items like they used to in the old store. I think it would really bring back business. Thank you Fortunoff for the amazing memories and i cannot wait to continue on the tradition.
We are very pleased with the service we received at the Fortunoff Yonkers store. Our saleswoman was very helpful. She even carried a heavy chair to our car. Our new patio chairs look and feel great!
Many years ago we bought a wrote iron patio set from Fortunoff and have been very satisfied with their products. So when we built a new backyard patio we needed a bigger umbrella for it. Our first thought was to go back to Fortunoff and we were not disappointed. Our sales person Micha was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable on all the products in the showroom and the catalog. I highly recommend them for any patio equipment you may need.

I have to start off by saying that Micha, our SalesWoman was amazing! She was so patient with us. There were soo many tables and chairs and mix and match options that could potentially fit any budget and I didn’t know that. She checked availability on every table and chair that would fit our preference and never once was pushy, insistent, or impatient. We ended up getting exactly what we wanted within our budget and we didn’t think that was possible with Fortunoff being pretty high end. Can’t wait to receive our set!! The manager however, all he did was yell at another employee. And I mean Scream. I almost walked out because he was rude to me and nasty. But I didn’t want Micha to lose out on her commission when she worked so hard for it! Hey Manager, you were extremely rude and need some Training with work ethics and made our experience so anxious thank Goodness for Micha!!
Had an amazing experience working with Anthony and Chris at the Yonkers Store. They were so helpful in their opinion of the styles, what would work in our space, and were very easy to deal with on delaying our delivery several times due to a delay in our outdoor space being completed. Definitely will continue to shop here for all outdoor needs!
Good experience, nice friendly salesman who didn’t pressure us. They have a good selection at different price points. We got an outdoor table, chairs and umbrella.
I am so happy with the staff who helped me I didn’t get the women’s name but she was very helpful. I ended up leaving to check a few other stores out but I was just so stuck on this 1 Christmas tree. She gladly placed my order and told me my tree would arrive Dec. 4th but so luckily my tree arrived Nov. 27th!🥰🥰 my mom had always shopped at Fortunoff but I have never even been inside , this was my first day and I’m super happy with my purchase ! This is my first tree for my son & I and I’m so happy how full and beautiful my tree looks !!!!😭 I really feel so happy to have gotten this tree and I honestly even feel like it’s a little bigger than what I saw in stores lol! Thank you so much for an easy pick up , bringing my tree to the car & also ringing up the tons of cute ornaments I found😫🥰. Btw the tree is super light !!! I thought I was going to be breaking my back since I’m a tired momma lol but it was actually like 40 / 50 lbs. love love loveeee and defiantly recommend Fortunoff if your looking for a beautiful insured tree. 🌲 ♥️
Shopping in the Christmas store at Fortunoffs is a magical experience. The wide selection and original designs of the Holiday ornaments is unique. The Staff is so helpful and gracious. And, the prices are reasonable.
Micha was a wonderful help and she knew how important the items I wanted were. She took such good care of me and Sue I was happy.

Not a very large selection of lower end dining sets now for people not wanting to spend more than $2k but Nizza, our customer service helper in the store, spent a lot of time with us, helping us make the right decision with all the extras we needed like umbrella and stand. We appreciated that.
Ordered a gorgeous patio set. Black table with beautifil blue chairs. Sadly, the table is back ordered until late July. Well, they do say all good thing are worth the wait!

Folks at Yonkers Fortunoff Backyard Store were prompt in addressing our needs, showed us a wide variety of options - and when we opted for a higher priced item, we got a 10% discount because only the floor sample was available - nothing in the warehouse.

2021-12-25I am so glad I decided to pay Fortunoff a visit. I was in need of ornaments and everywhere I checked I just couldn’t find anything I liked, until, I went into Fortunoff’s. This store is truly a hidden gem. I’ve passed it so many times and never thought of purchasing ornaments from them. My tree looks absolutely stunning!!! I even found the oversized ornaments I couldn’t find anywhere!!!! Fortunoff’s had everything i needed!! A HUGE thank you to Kathy the sales associate who helped me find everything I needed and then some. Thanks to Kathy, she made my visit such a pleasure and stress free (since I put my tree up a week before Christmas) by helping me pull off every ornament from the display trees I wanted.

2022-06-05Today is went into the store to purchase an inexpensive umbrella. The lady at the register was explaining to me the differences in quality for umbrellas. After speaking with the lady regarding my problem.,. I have the top of my umbrella and I misplaced the bottom. The lady said she will ask her manager if I can just purchase the bottom half of the umbrella. The manager said she will look in the back to see if she has any extra bottom. The manager found the bottom of the umbrella and sold it to me for 20.00. What a great store. So helpful and kind.

2021-10-25Although the store was in disarray getting the decorations and Christmas trees up for display, Kathy, the salesperson, was willing to stop what she was doing to help me. She could have asked me to come back when the store was ready. I found the tree that I wanted and in stock! I left the store a happy and satisfied customer.

My dad was in the retail business for 50 years selling furniture at his stores so I am aware of a good attentive salesperson who cares about his customers, listens and researches the possibilities for his customer, takes all phone calls and has patience and a pleasant manner. That was Dave and I am glad we found him. Bought our cast iron dining set more than 10 years ago as well as a fire pit and chairs. Still looks great. Now bought the Cadiz love seat and chairs and cant wait to get them. Still able to get the same Sunbrella cushion colors. Our cushions still look like new.Thank you!
