Great service and food here. Went to a wedding here. Staff was top notch and the food was excellent. Cooked perfect. The Lamb Shank & tuna tartare tasted very good. The open bar had a wide selection of top shelf alcohol too. There are a few parking decks within a block of this hotel.
Set in Lower Manhattan, down the block from the landmark Woolworth Building, this 82-story tower features interiors by noted design firm Yabu Pushelberg, who have infused it with a comfortable, contemporary feel. The building also houses 157 private apartments, and that hushed residential atmosphere can be felt across the 24 hotel floors, as well, resulting in luxury that is more polished and sedate than gilded or ornate. Just off the lobby, CUT by Wolfgang Puck is the first Manhattan restaurant by the renowned California-based chef/restaurateur, and the spa is one of the best in the city, both for its lovely facilities and the breadth and diversity of its offerings. The main wellness floor houses a 75-foot heated lap pool, a well-stocked fitness center (with Peloton bikes), a steam room and infrared sauna, and a sundeck.
I can’t say enough about how amazing this place is. The staff are incredibly attentive. We had an over night stay for my husbands birthday, Jason who works on the door was amazing, very helpful and friendly. Dan in the spa was so helpful and our massages were amazing. My husband had a very specific request and the GM made it happen straight away. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel if your looking for 5 star service this is the hotel for you. We will definitely be back!
Our recent stay was the best weve experience out of any hotel in the country. Globally, it is tied only with the Four Seasons Astir Palace. NYC staff was excellent at every level. Facilities were top notch. The best night sleep anywhere. Location is an A+. Away from the tourist traps/traffic, and close to the Financial district/Tribeca and Greenwich Village. In room dining quality was amazing. What else is there to want in a hotel?
My husband and I had an excellent experience staying at the Four Seasons NYC Downtown. Great building and amenities. The most remarkable aspect was the top-tier customer service. The staff really cared about our experience. I cant say enough about the outstanding service. In particular, the Front Desks Katora was brilliant, efficient, professional, kind and simply The Best of the Best. Our experience this weekend at the Four Seasons NYC Downtown is precisely the reason we will continue to stay at Four Seasons worldwide. Thank you!
This hotel is well located and walking distance to all major financial institutions. The lobby very small with no facilities of business center to work in peace.Rooms are nice but the sheers need replacement. In room Entertainment negligible interface between television and iPhone impossible to stream.I would like to warn you that if you leave a small item behind like a airpod or similar it will never be found and the hotel management will call the guest a liar than admit their mistake.I am happy they were able to retrieve my apple phone however they refused to pay for courier charges to Houston after i spent over $3000 for two nights at their establishment, lost my airpods and also called a liar. Amazing service to safe couple of $’s. As I am a Centourian card member I will certainly take it up with them as well. This establishment is racial and badly managed, people must avoid this hotel like the plague.Show lessDate of stay: October 2021Room tip: Don’t leave anything behind especially small items which can be hiddenTrip type: Traveled on business
My experience here was incredible. My mother was in town to celebrate an early Mothers Day. We were welcomed warmly with an easy check in and our room had a little gift of macaroons for our celebration. And OMG the SPA. My skin has never been better, Nyla is miraculous, and the facilities are top-notch. They also have really nice down-alternative in the rooms, upon request.
Fantastic hotel for business travel and meetings in New York. Its an iconic landmark to visit in and of itself. Perfectly located, real class and professional staff, and the amenities are amazing. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and rooms are superb and tastefully updated. One of my favorite hotels in New York by far! And the service makes all the difference.Perfect for business travel and beyond. I travel often here and love my stay even more every time.
If I could give the front end staff 10 stars, I would. Cierra went above and beyond providing exceptional customer service. We came in town for our friends birthday dinner & let’s just say it was a lonnggg night! lol Cierra provided us with water and Advil the morning after. Totally asked on a whim & she came through! Kurk was also super friendly and pleasant. He always greeted us with a smile. You can tell Cierra and Kurk enjoy their jobs. The manager, Mike was pleasant as well. Thank you all for making this a great experience! BTW- totally unsure if it’s Cierra or Sierra, but either way….you were amazing! ❤️
This is a first for me, staying at a high end Hotel that I was not impressed. Driving up to front door is a nightmare street narrow for vehicle traffic causing traffic nightmare. When you arrive your hopping there’s a space to pull into to unload. The personnel was fantastic they were friendly and always helpful. Room was great and luxurious, just one flaw the water in the shower did not get hot like I’m expected at home I had to place in full hot to get the hot water I’m comfortable with at home. I had two of my business partners have to change rooms because they was no hot water to take shower.
I come here because its diverse, inspiring and vibrant – dope art meets architecture in the heartbeat of TriBeCa. My favorite feature is the globally inspired Spa with a heated indoor pool, or dining at CUT by renowned celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck. Or just chilling in the artdeco courtyard. 😂💎🎨🖌️🥂
Bad doorman service.Sharing my bad experience with Four Season Hotel in downtown NYC. I parked my car near by the hotel entrance and the doorman had an attitude. I was helping my boyfriend parking to the right spot and suddenly the doorman came out and started talking to me I would get a ticket if I cross the line for milimeters. I told the doorman I know what I am doing, I can read signs. There was no reason I would get a ticket, I guess he just didnt want me to park there. I ignored him and left the car. After one hour we returned to our car there was a car behind my car and I couldnt get out so I asked the same doorman I met earlier to ask the owner of the vehicle to move his car so I can get out. The doorman denied to do so, and said that I have to wait. I decided to go inside the hotel to talk to the manager and there was the doorman yelling to the manager she is not a guest. I was not a guest but I needed to talk with his supervisor about this rude doorman. The manager apologized to me but the doorman again said dont apologize to her, she is rude excuse me? Who is the rude one here? I left the hotel and the manager was. Trying to calm down. So dissapointed about Four Season staff, the way they treated me today. Specially the doorman who refused to apologize. Only the guest deserve respect?
Just stayed at the fours seasons downtown with my two kids. everything was perfect! the staff was welcoming, the amenities were great, the food. They went out of their way to make the entire experience amazing. What really makes a great service is not the obvious things its how they surprise you with small things you wouldnt even expect! We would 100% be back!
A perfect contemporary hotel ideally located. Has a magnificent restaurant “The Cut”. The dining experience is outstanding both at the restaurant and in-room service. The staff are excellent. Rooms are beautiful. The beds are super comfortable for a goodnight sleep. Details are just perfect.
This is by far the best hotel I stayed in! Last time in Manhattan I stayed at the Plaza and IMO this is much better. The hotel is a relatively small and quite that feals cozy and intimate while being clean and modern. The room was large, new, clean, pretty, and most important - very practical. The service is exceptional! The staff truly go out of their way to help with any need (thanks Alex!).In summary Id say they got a perfect balance. Its pretty while being practical, great service while not being intruding, cozy while being modern. Even a great smell in the hallway whole leaving the smell in the room natural :)The only downside was that the view from the room was mostly blocked by a nearby building. Although I guess that is pretty common thing in NYC...
I just attended a three-day event there. My challenge is always being able to eat safely with systemic nickel allergy syndrome. Its hard to navigate with signals from servers Lost in Translation to the chef. The supervisor of food, Anna, was genuinely concerned and got everything right and deliciously as well for the three days I was there. Its a beautiful hotel and the staff is so accommodating and lovely. Most especially Anna! With gratitude, Karen Moss
Very large rooms with great hospitality from the concierge. Four Seasons is usually one of the top hotel chains around the world, so it might give people the sense that its really for the wealthy rather the average traveller, but we spent a reasonable price through travel agents so we had an enjoyable stay. The hotel itself is beautiful with clean and spacious rooms, modern furniture and state-of-the-art technology throughout the room as it was fairly new. The concierge was friendly and gave us directions to the main attractions. Greeted us every time we left and returned to the hotel , remembered our names and had a warm feelingOverall it was very enjoyable and a luxurious stay
From the moment me and my wife walked in to the moment we checked our the service and personal care provided to us was amazing. First off before we even checked in the gentleman at the front door greeted us by our full names which is pretty impressive and shows how much attention they pay to details and personal touch. After me and my wife has settled into our room we received a phone call from the front desk manager and she had some bad news for us. It seems the floor we were on needed to be given exclusive access to one of their VIP’s and because of this we would not be able to remain in our room. The manager apologized and didn’t just get us a new room but she instead upgraded us to the 16th floor and even provided us with a bottle of champagne for the trouble. The level of care they gave to us and the level of personal attention they provided will keep us coming back to this hotel again and again. Thank you for the excellent service you provided to me and my wife four seasons you are second to none.
Lovely comfortable rooms, excellent and unobtrusive service. Could do with maybe a little more on the food options - one restaurant (admittedly Wolfgang Puck!) does limit options and Id also have preferred some breakfast tables in the morning as opposed to only room service. Having said that, the food I sampled was superb!
Wow, we are Four Seasons converts. This was our 4th trip to NY in as many years, and we have previously chosen beautiful boutique hotels in Soho, but Four Seasons you have impressed us. The Premier King Room was not only beautiful and full of modern amenities but incredibly spacious with actual room to move about in. Cupboards and storage were like a walk in robe, which led into the AMAZING bathroom. Beautiful bath, large shower, heated floors but most importantly actual space with a second makeup station & wall mirror which makes getting ready with your partner a breeze. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. At our request they also organised a chauffeur from JFK, and despite an 8 hour delay out of LAX our airport greeter and driver were there for us in the middle of the night. Having flown from Australia this extra support was well worth it having been travelling for over 24 hours. Thanks Four Seasons we will return!
Great location and service. The Four Seasons staff from waiters, cleaning service, front desk, door men, honestly everyone we interacted with were all highly trained, personable, and clearly dedicated to helping the traveler with whatever one needed in a professional and competent manner. We have stayed at many hotels all over the world and find that we can consistently expect a great level of service and quality at the Four Seasons that sets them apart from many of the others.
Unacceptable Negligence! Unfortunately- I decided to celebrate my 50th birthday at this New York location, but it did not turn out how one would expect of a Four Seasons hotel!I mentioned in a previous comment that the quality of the hotel and the attention to service were not up to par with Four Seasons. The only detail I found impressive was a bottle of champagne chilled in our room upon arrival with a tray of cakes and “Happy Birthday” written on the plate... I immediately thanked the concierge with a tip!!Months late, I meet with a friend who I have not seen since before my birthday. He asks me how I liked the champagne and card he sent to my hotel room on my birthday to this New York hotel!! I was shocked and speechless! The hotel did not even give me the card with his gift and they did not leave their own complimentary champagne, they simply upgraded my gift at my friend’s expense and set it up as if the gift was complimentary from the hotel!! How could the staff be this negligent??This is how Four Seasons in New York ripped off myself and my friend by having him pay for the champagne service, then taking my tip on top. Even worse, I did not thank my friend for the wonderful gift he sent on my 50th birthday which caused unexplained tension.. meanwhile the Four Seasons is pinching a penny.Bravo! Thanks for nothing!
Great place to stay and very friendly staff.Things i liked: big room in downtown hotel.Good size pool.Friendly staff.Good choice of breakfasts but its ala carte and not buffet so people who are spoilt for choice may struggleClose to some sightseeing monumentsFrankly cant think of anything to improve except increase the size of bar lounge :)
The location is great for ***y things. I personally think the price is a bit high considering the competition. The tub is pretty small not sure why. The restaurant is not very good. Parking fees for those driving are pretty steep. The restaurant Cut way overprice. The breakfast left much to be desired.
I just got off the phone with Yolanda the 4 seasons operator, and just by her kindness and help, I know I will stay there and be happy. She helped set up a few surprises I wanted for my wife in the room for when we got there. She was wonderful! If the 4 seasons actually read these, you should have her moved up to a managerial job.
The hotel was very clean at all times. Always giving a very good level of services. Carpets in the hallways are in poor condition. There was a lot of banging outside my door throughout the night. The breakfast was not satisfying. Bath tub drain did not work properly. Traffic would be very bad during the rush hour.
It is situated in a great location. In short, the rooms look fantastic. The place is very noisy throughout the night. We were a little disappointed with the breakfast area. The restaurant pricing is very odd. Oh the expensive side of parking our car. The room rate was quite high.
Beautiful Luxury Hotel. Love the grand stair cases in the lobby. The room & bathroom are spacious for Manhattan and comfortable beddings, robes & towels. Automatic lights & curtains. Modern clean aesthetic. One of my favourite properties of Fourseasons. The location is perfect to explore downtown Freedom Tower & World Trade Center. Public transit is steps away. The staff is friendly & welcoming.
Amenities are the most basic only. Very over priced for what you get. The biggest disappointment was the parking charge. Dining options are a bit poor within the hotel. My only disappointment was with the bath tub in the room. Dining room not up to expectations. Excellent location can get to anywhere easy.
We had a very unpleasant stay in this hotel and this will be the last time we will ever stay at a four seasons. The bed was hard and the pillows uncomfortable. There was a very irritating noise coming from outside that kept me up the first night. The next day we asked to change rooms and they said they had one at the other side of the hotel but it was not ready. They also said they never had that complaint before which i find very hard to believe. We said we would be back around 3 to change rooms and they said it would be ready. When we got back to the hotel the receptionist was not told of the change. The room was not ready. She said 20 minutes. We waited 2 hours in our room. No one called to tell us it would take that long. This delay messed up our plans and by the time we finally got out, traffic was so bad, 2 ubers cancelled on us because they couldnt get to us. This is not the kind of service you would expect from a five star hotel. The rooms are very average. This was a very disappointing experience which we will not repeat.
Best value for a 5 stars in New York, located at the best part of lower Manhattan, nearby the Wall Street and right next to the new World Trade Centre. The CUT and the in-room dining are great, main course menu serve 24 hours. Rooms are comfortable and equip with automatic curtains. Bath tubs are cosy. The bed is a magic, best mattress and linen selection for a hotel bed.
Nice hotel. Great location. Still heard street noise and honking at 3 am. Even on the 36th floor. But that’s NYC for you. Room was small but clean. Staff were very nice and welcoming. Tv in the bathroom! Not sure that’s needed but pretty cool. Worth the money of a grand a night???? Probably not. But hey it’s NYC!!
Got a drink at the bar. Manhattans were 25 dollars so we got an interesting 750 ml of Alaskan beer for 45. It was a nice place and a good beer at a reasonable price, but if it were not for that bottle we probably would have left. $25 basic cocktails are never worth it to me
I stayed at four seasons downtown 4 nights this past July 4th week with my family. I was so impressed with overall stay, I am actually writing this review. Now, I have stayed other comparable hotels across NYC before, Edition, trump, park Hyatt just to name a few... but this hotel was exceptional. I cannot even think of going back to those hotels. When I come back to NYC, I am definitely coming back to four seasons downtown.
Hi,I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all management and staff at the Fourseasons hotel downtown NYC.Each and every member of staff during our stay went above and beyond to make our stay extra special.I would especially like to thank the management of the hotel on how they dealt with accomadating my family due to illness on such short notice.I can truly say that this stay will forever stay in our memories and we will back to stay with Forseasons in the future.Warm RegardsPaul Craig & family
Four Seasons NY downtown is a relatively new hotel in lower manhattan and this can definitely be seen in its interior design. The interior is beautiful (see images) with a very clean and modern design. One small complaint with the bathroom design is that the faucet is on the right side of the bathtub, so you can not sit on that side (which had the better view). The facilities such as the pool are also quite good, but this is expected with such a price tag.The 3/5 rating is based on multiple stays and having more 5-star hotel experiences such as the other Four Seasons hotel in NYC and Mandarin Oriental (three different properties). At each of those properties our overall experience has been better. The front desk staff is generally very nice in FS downtown, although it is hard to beat the concierges in FS midtown (which take a lot of pride in what they do). Our best experience in the downtown hotel was with Marisa, who I believe recently joined from Mandarin Oriental. She helped us multiple times and when she helped new guests to the elevator, kindly asked if she could show the room. This generally did not happen in Four Seasons, but it always done in Mandarin Oriental. Overall, our staff experiences have been good however. The last stay at FS downtown was the worst experience, with a few things going wrong during our stay. We had ordered a breakfast package and ordered breakfast the night before around 10PM. However, the breakfast never showed up and one of us had to leave for an important meeting. When informing the front desk, they said the order was never put in but we recalled that the gentleman the night before even repeated our entire order on the phone. It isnt great to leave on an empty stomach. The breakfast had to be re-ordered for a single person and eventually FS got rid of the breakfast fee of around $100. This is an expected solution but the situation shouldnt happen at these hotel rates. The second issue was that the complimentary shoe shine had damaged the leather of my shoes. I showed this to the front desk and FS proposed to get these shoes repaired nearby. This meant I had to stay in the hotel for a few hours because I had no other shoes with me. When the shoes returned, I noticed the paper inside my shoe had paint marks on it. The shoes were slightly darker, meaning the shoes had been painted over. At first they looked fine, but after wearing them for a few minutes, it was clear the paint was slowly coming off again making the shoes look horrible. At check-out, the manager (although I believe not the general manager) was called and after expressing my concerns, shrugged off the issue and said the shoes looked great. I didnt want to argue much so decided to e-mail my complaint after leaving.FS later called me to talk about the issues and wanted me to send in my shoes, but I was leaving the country soon. In later e-mail contact they also proposed that the shoe manufacturers unlimited warranty (which clearly does not exist) could pay for the damage. We went to the shoe store and they laughed at the idea of unlimited warranty. I think it was inappropriate to suggest this solution. If I would damage something in the hotel, FS would clearly bill me for it and not the manufacturer of the thing I damaged. It took about 25 e-mails and a month to get money for new shoes.Overall, the facilities and service are good. I think the 5-star service, however, is only tested when not so common issues arise. I think at the level of Four Seasons this should be improved and we did not receive 5-star service from those in charge of finding a resolution. The issue that we had could have been resolved much quicker, but it seems FS did not want to take its responsibility for the issue.
Extreme politeness of staff and accommodating our requests. The food is delicious and the room extremely comfortable. I will certainly consider staying here again in the future. One of the best four Seasons hotels .. we went to las Vegas four Seasons but the Down Town New York... we really loved the staff they made our stay memorable.. we were celebrating our honeymoon and everything was super perfect... Mr. Jefferson Femendez was one the of the best employee that a hotel can have super friendly, kind and he was very help.. the front desk Mr. Daniel Martinez was super nice and very efficient.. special thank to the housekeeping sorry didn’t get there name ... they were very nice to use and met our needs to perfection ... we will come back for sure...One of our top picks in New York – and a guest favourite.Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown is located in the heart of Downtown Manhattan in TriBeCa, less than 700 m from the iconic Brooklyn Bridge and scenic waterfront Seaport District. Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown is a very nice hotel. The location is very convenient because you can walk too many good places to eat. There are also metro stations nearby to take you even further. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The room service is very orderly. However, their website claimed to provide Xboxes and PlayStations, but neither was available upon request. They also do not have sunscreen available and the pool is only 4 feet deep.

As an Executive Asst, I frequently book our Executives at this location whenever they are visiting NYC. They have a very helpful and friendly staff, always willing to accommodate changes in our schedules whenever needed. Matt, the Sales Manager always goes above and beyond, out of his way, to help me however he can! Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the city!
Had a great stay at FS DT and it was everything you would expect of a Four Seasons hotel. Sleek interior, chic atmosphere, great friendly service and awesome location (right by the Oculus and WTC). What was truly impressive though was the egg’s benedict at the breakfast I had with CUT. I’ve tried bennys all over the world, Asia, Europe, Americas... but FS DT serves the best one!
Set in Downtown Manhattan, this landmark luxury high-rise hotel is a minutes walk from a subway station, a 5-minute walk from One World Trade Center and 1 mile from the Brooklyn Bridge. The chic rooms and suites feature free Wi-Fi, smart TVs, Nespresso machines and Bose speakers. All come with bars, living areas, and marble bathrooms with glass-enclosed showers. Some have terraces. Room service is available 24/7.A polished steak restaurant/bar by renowned chef Wolfgang Puck is on-site. Breakfast is extra. Other amenities include a heated indoor lap pool and a posh spa. A gym and a business center are open 24 hours. Valet parking is available.
As always, Four season never disappoints. Even though house keeping was mistaking my personal glass, and took it away, the manager of house keeping Thomas Woodrum was kindly enough to show up in person, and give me many options to solves the problem. And not to mention all the amazing stuffs in the front desk, and the most responsible bellman in NYC.
The four seasons downtown is the worst four seasons that the chain has the service is terrible there is no concierge exactly there’s a new method of everybody knows everything by google everybody is a Google in the hotel they do not matter about the Kleins the only think about them this service is terrible really the worst four seasons in New York it’s sad to say that but in fortunately it is they didn’t want to receive a packageFrom Uber they asked me to come to the hotel to received it this is not a Four Seasons this is the west wood it’s the worst hotel I could ever stay in New York this is my last time I would stay there and it was supposed to be an amazing day but it’s the seventh terrible days only things after things happen to me really the worst

2022-02-11Pablo and Jessica and their entire Four Seasons team are AMAZING! Best service I have ever had EVER! I visited recently on 2/4 for the weekend of my birthday and was absolutely stunned. Balloons, champagne, tirimasu and fresh flowers in the suite which was upgraded to a bigger suite! I felt like royalty from the second I stepped in to the last goodbye! Worth every penny!

2022-06-30First of all, I am job seeker, thats why Im writing to you.1. I was trained in this job and my experience is always in this field. Why cant I apply for this job in America? I have worked enough in Turkey.2. It is so called a global world, but while you can do any job in our country, we cant work in a job other than Turkish restaurants when we come to your country? Even though we know the job, we cant get a job in our field of expertise!3. If you think I cant do it, give a chance and see. Otherwise, you will never reach global talents. If what you have is enough for you, go ahead. I am comfortable in my own country. And I do not think that I will disturb my comfort for unqualified jobs that are not my area of expertise. The more steps you come to me, the more I will come to you.

2022-03-20This was my first stay at a Four Seasons property and my expectations were high, and I was not let down. Since I booked through AMEX’s FHR program, I got upgraded to a suite for free and got free food credits which was nice, although I was unable to use them at CUT by Wolfgang Puck which was a disappointment. The room service was honestly pretty lacking with the food being very overpriced and mediocre with tons of added fees and service charges that doubled the cost of the order to over $120. The room was super nice and clean with really high end finishes and features that really made my stay very pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful although not truly outstanding unlike the St Regis which has better service. The drain on my bathtub was broken and the front desk had an engineer come up to my room and fix it within fifteen minutes. A housekeeper also acquired Advil for me since I had a headache from all the loud music from the Broadway shows I was attending which was really nice of her. Overall, this hotel and the Four Seasons brand did not disappoint.

2022-05-24The best decision, an excellent hotel, everything in it is beautiful, very good customer service, all the staff very friendly and attentive, always a smile upon arrival and departure, the people in charge of the rooms, very detailed, did an incredible job, all the hotel amenities, its gym, swimming pool and wet areas of a high level. It is the best area to be in New York.

2022-03-28First and foremost, the door men and bell hop are great. There is no parking at the location so we parked the Tesla at a near by garage. The check in counter also has a great staff. The location is in downtown Manhattan and had Wolfgangs restaurant which is a nice touch. Lobby and rooms seem very plain for the four seasons. In any case my husband surprised me for my birthday and he paid them extra to set up a slice of cake, some champagne and flower petals in the room which was nice. Great wifi in the room, excellent view of the city. One extremely annoying fact - our room was directly opposite the maintenance room where the employees walk in and out CONSTANTLY throughout the entire day. The doors arent silent so everytime the door opens and shut, it makes such a huge noise that it causes the nearby room doors (aka my room) to shake. Every 5-15 mins, we would hear that door open and shut and it would shake our room door. We called to express disbelief and annoyance but they told us pretty much to deal with it. It was so annoying that we had to sleep with headphones on. Ive never experienced this at a 5-star hotel. Not the standard spa, Waldorf Astoria, nor MO Miami or NYC or DC. I think for the price of the rooms, they should have accommodated us better. For that reason, I most likely would not stay there again. In any case, the gym is huge enough with access to a peloton bike. The swimming pool is indoor, not super heated but also not cold. They have a life guard on duty til 7/8pm. The IR sauna you apparently have to book in advance and pay an extra fee but the steam room is free. The womens locker room has nice ammenities such as clean showers, lockers, robes, combs, curling irons etc. Wolfgangs restaurant was also nice. Decent food. Good service. All in all Id say 4/5 stars. If we had a better room, perhaps Id have given it 5 stars but they at least have to fix that maintenance room. It doesnt need to cause such a loud noise when being opened and closed. Or should at least not be near any OCCUPIED hotel rooms.

2022-07-08Stay away, this is a Marriott cascading as a Four Seasons. My guess is the labor problem has caused them to hire people that are not up-to par. DO NOT WASTE your money. Stay else where.First let me start off by saying that I spend close to 40 nights a year at a Four Seasons and average about 15 different properties a year across the world. My point being, I know the level of service to expect and I know when something is off.I recently booked a stay at this property and prior to arrival I called to talk to the concierge so I could pick their brain on a few restaurants and shows. Keep in mind I do NYC 5x a year for the last 25 years, so I have a decent idea about whats going on. But Im not an expert on whats new, and I like to pick the brain of a Les Clefs dOr Concierge. So I do what I always do, I called and asked for the concierge. The phone operator let me know that I cannot talk to them till I get there but she would be happy to help me. When I asked her a question, she ignored what I asked and answered incorrectly and basically got rude when I pointed that out. I then asked for restaurant recommendations(New Michelin Trendy Spots) she connected me to another Phone operator that was nice but didnt help. I then asked again if I could talk to the actual concierge and they stated no. Keep in mind 3 hours prior I talked to the Concierge teams at the Paris Four Seasons George V and London Four Seasons properties about my stay in a few weeks. I asked for a manager and was blown off.I am a fair person, and cannot tell you how the rooms are. But I can tell you based on talked to a few people here it appears that this Four Seasons does NOT believe in going above and beyond. And to me where I stay is all about the service. So I would recommend for now a HARD PASS at the average property till they get it fixed.

2022-03-05I would give this hotel 10 stars if I could! My wife and I decided to stay at this property for a short babymoon. Here are the things that make this hotel special and world class:Checkin: They were able to accommodate an early checkin for us since we only had a short time to explore NYC and our flight landed in the morning. As soon as we entered the property and gave them our name the entire staff knew about our babymoon celebration and made us feel very welcomed. It was quick and easy to get our room keys and they handed us some complementary beverages to take up to the room. We were personally escorted to the elevator by the front desk staff which was a nice touch of white glove service!Accommodation: our room was on the 22nd floor - the room itself was clean, modern, and had a great view of the city. After our dinner we found they had prepared a very special turndown service for us: a personalized congratulations card for our baby signed by their staff, along with chocolate covered strawberries and apple juice. We were extremely touched by this gesture, and will be lifelong customers with Four Seasons after this!Location: the location is very convenient, we are in close proximity to some of the biggest attractions in NYC I.e. Central Park, World Trade Center.Staff: this is a world class staff that cares about guests in a way that very few hotels do. They go above and beyond for in their jobs and make your stay feel special and worth every penny.Cost: the rates are definitely on the high end, but you get what you paid for!One of the best hotel experiences of my life, highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a special experience!
