I have been purchasing beautiful quality rugs and runners from Fovama for the last 15 years. And every purchase has been a success from finding the right patterns, and colors with excellent installation. Prices are very fair. It is always a pleasure to work with Cyrus and his team.
I recently had to search for some discontinued LVT. After two long weeks and dozens of phone calls to flooring companies, and discount, clearance and promotional outlets, I finally had the good fortune of contacting Fovama. Cyrus was a godsend! With nearly a half century of experience running Fovama, it took him less than a half hour calling his contacts in the industry to find my tile under a different name in a commercial division of the manufacturing company. My husband and I were afraid to go carpet shopping during this time of Covid. We passed Fovama and thought it looked nice and wasnt crowded.This turned out to be a very fortunate stop for us. Its a small family run business with a large selection of carpets, rugs, runners, and flooring. They were able to show us a variety of options at different price points.The installers came this week. They were prompt, professional, and left the house in perfect order. We will definitely use Fovama again!

I found beautiful carpet and flooring for my mothers house at Fovama. The selection is amazing. Cyrus and Arman are personable, knowledgeable and professional and made this process easy. I needed the flooring to be installed quickly and they were most accommodating. I couldnt imagine a better experience from start to finish. This is a great place! Fovama has been in business for 4 decades for a reason - they are the best at what they do. They are experts in rugs, carpets, and flooring and the personal attention and customer service cannot be beat. They recently picked up and cleaned an oriental rug for me and agreed to store it at no charge for 6 months while my apartment was being renovated. The 6 months passed and the renovation has not even begun yet. I was worried about where I would store it if I had to take it back but Cyrus (the owner) told me not to worry - they will keep it for another 6 months and no charge! This is the difference when you deal with a family business versus a big retailer - the human factor. My beautiful mother (who passed away 2 years ago) bought all of her oriental rugs from Fovama (all gorgeous) and not only was she thrilled with the purchases and the prices but she loved the people there. She spent so much time at their store that I told her she should ask them for a job! I realize now that she just liked being around Cyrus and his family - they are so much fun that you just dont want to leave the store!
I wish this were my experience at every retail place I frequent. The owner of Fovama, Cyrus, and his two sons, could not have been more helpful. I chose a beautiful rug for my dining room and they even made me a rug for my daughter out of the remnants. The installers were highly professional and friendly also; they came exactly when we scheduled for..Overall, I would recommend them to anyone looking for rugs or carpets. They are absolutely an excellent company and I enjoyed working with them.
We are so happy our friends recommended visiting Fovama when we moved into our home and needed several area rugs. We purchased beautiful rugs for our dining room, living room and office, and later had them come back to install a coordinating runner on our stairs. They did an amazing job on the stairs, and we are constantly getting compliments on the rugs. When we had an unfortunate red wine spill on our light colored living room rug, we called Fovama for help. Cyrus and Arman were wonderful to speak with (as usual), and Cesar, who is so warm and friendly as well, came to pick up the rug with two great assistants. My recent experience at Fovama Oriental Rugs & Carpets was excellent from beginning to end. Cyrus and his son Arman were courteous, helpful and professional. They showed us styles we were interested in, and even carpeting on sale. They were able to schedule the dates for measuring and then installation rather quickly, since I needed the carpet to comply with a noise complaint in my bldg. Ive had two experiences at Fovama so far, one to purchase rugs and the other to install carpeting. These were among the best retail experiences Ive ever had. Cyrus, the owner, gave me invaluable assistance in selecting rugs and carpeting and is very kind, gracious, and accommodating, as is his son, Armand. Cesar and Elder did an outstanding job of installing carpeting with a complex pattern. I cant even detect the seams. As soon as we walked into the door of Fovama Rugs we were greeted by Cyrus. His friendly and very helpful advice brought us back to the store to purchase a staircase runner after shopping for comparisons elsewhere. The rug (a special order) was delivered in a timely manner. The installation was done by Caesar, a true professional, and his helper (sorry I did not get his name). His advice during installation was spot on. Thank you Cyrus and Caesar! I have been a customer for the past 8 years (for multiple residences) and I wish I had known about Fovama earlier! Cyrus and his team are wonderfully patient and kind. Cesar has done all our carpet installations for the last 8 years with great attention to detail and top notch professionalism — from a custom crafted dining room rug and custom stair runner to wall-to-wall, perfection! The process in picking something out can be nerve-wracking but they make it so pleasant, working with whatever your budget is. I have also done hardwood floor refinishing and oriental rug cleaning with them. I wish all my experiences with home projects were like this!
Just had a new staircase runner, hall runner, and two area rugs installed at our home. Cyrus and the gang made this whole process from beginning to end an unbelievable experience. They have an amazing amount of samples to choose from at the shop. Cyruss approach was friendly and extremely knowledgeable we felt very comfortable working with him. His installer Caesar was truly a rare find and again extremely knowledgeable. We had a tricky corner/turn in the staircase and he showed several options on how to approach it. My wife and I had been to a dozen rug stores trying to find just the right rug and size for an apartment that we were renovating. Fovama had exactly the oriental area rug that we were looking for and cut it to perfect size. Most amazing of all was that when cut, the intricate pattern matched so seamlessly that you can’t tell it was tailored. The owner, Cyrus is a pleasure to deal with, a happy knowledgeable fellow who feels like a friend (and performs magic!). If we ever need another carpet, we’ll start with Cyrus at Fovama.
I recently purchased an oriental rug and had an incredible experience. The advice, the selection, the patience of both Cyrus and his son were nothing short of fabulous and most productive. I shopped with my son and daughter-in-law and we were all impressed with the service and welcoming feel of the store. In addition, I brought a relatively old Turkish carpet for cleaning and major repair. The rug was washed and sent to a specialist for weaving. The result is remarkable. My semi-antique rug has new life in it. I would recommend Fovana without hesitation and will definately make this place my go to for rugs both old and new.
We had a wonderful experience with Arman and his father at Fovama. I returned several times to check out the wide selection of area rugs and carpet that they have. We took our Persian rug to Fovama for cleaning. The markings on the rug ranged from spilled food and beverages to not-so-artistic work of our 3 yrs old daughter. We looked for a place that sold interesting rugs. The first time we went to Fovama we found a one of a kind rug. We needed a second one, but the one we liked was no longer available. However, Cyrus called the maker and found out that they still had one left, We ordered it on the condition we liked it. It was just what we wanted, but it was stored badly, and had what I call bright spots. Cyrus took a week and reconditioned it - back to l a brand new rug. We love both of them. Did I mention that buying from Cyrus is fun in and of itself?

Hussein and his staff were fantastic to work with! He was incredibly helpful picking out the right sizes and styles, and there was even the family dog running around the store as an added bonus! Fovama staff are personable, helpful, carpet is beautiful, they did a great job. The only reason its not five stars is because of the delay in receiving the carpet. Actually the delay was from the manufacturer. Once Fovama got it we immediately were able to get the carpet installed.
Although an error was made with the carpet color at the factory, Fovama worked with me and the job was completed most satisfactorily.The installation teams for the wall to wall carpeting worked at the house over three different days . They were pleasant, helpful, and did their job well.I am glad that I chose the Fovama “family” for my carpet project.

Great product, great service. We had a runner installed on our stairs that extended to the landing, and the shape wasnt exactly simple. But they got it done quickly and professionally and were very happy with the result!
Forget the unlikely location and dated curb appeal, this actually is a family of exceptionably knowledgeable rug people, with expert installers, who dont overcharge, get the job done efficiently, and knock themselves out helping customers out of genuine caring that they be satisfied. Ive been bringing my Chinese hand made rugs (10x14 & 8x10) to Fovama for 10 years now for cleaning. I have 2 dogs who force me every few years to get my rugs cleaned. There is no one more honest than the men at Fovama. They truly care about you the customer and about your rugs. They do the job right and are reasonably priced. With rugs like these, its about trust and there is no other rug store I would go to have my rugs treated and washed. Highly recommend them!!

Last year Fovama cleaned a vintage Pakastani rug for me. Wow! They did an amazing job and the rug looked absolutely fantastic. I was so pleased that I brought them another rug to be cleaned. I also purchased a large area rug from them. They have excellent products and customer service.

2022-04-13What an amazing experience I had with Fovama. From the moment I walked into the store I was given the white glove service. Everyone there is so nice and friendly and their selection of rugs is phenomenal. A lot of time was taken in helping me find the perfect runner for my stairs and I really appreciated all the different samples that were shown to me. I just had my carpet installed and it looks beautiful! Thank you so much!!!

2021-11-16I discovered Fovama by chance last week. I bought three rugs from them and they fit beautifully in my house! Today I returned one of them because the colors were too dark for my room and the owners were very understanding and patient, ready to issue a refund for me. I ended up exchanging that rug with another one and I am very happy with the result. I will definitely go back.

2022-01-07My wife and I made too many visits to Fovama trying to find a couple of rugs. We were trying to match colors and textures in what we considered to be a challenging situation. With a great deal of patience and creativity, Cyrus and his crew were able to find us just what we wanted. They are now installed, looking beautiful,Shopping is not my favorite thing, but the friendly and professional team at Fovama made the experience pleasant and even at times entertaining. 2022-04-21Purchasing carpets from Fovama was a great experience! I ordered my new carpet from Fovama this February. The whole purchase process including installation was very smooth. The price was very reasonable without much negotiation at all. Appreciate that they were very accommodating to squeeze in a measurement appointment on the same day of request to speed up the process. And the newly installed carpet was beautiful!

2022-05-12I just had a luxury vinyl floor put down in my kitchen by Fovama .The entire experience of choosing a floor was made so much easier by their expertise, advice and friendliness. I love that the whole family is involved and each of them was warm and welcoming. 2021-12-23I highly recommend Fovama. We are delighted with our new carpeting and all aspects of Fovamas service, from helping me choose, to delivering when promised, and excellent installation. We first used Fovama for a small job -- splitting and binding a large carpet into two -- and Cyrus Ahmadi, the owner, was just as solicitous as if we were making a big purchase. Great store and service.

2020-06-19We went first to at least 6 other larger stores, I couldnt find anything I liked and the quotes we received everywhere else to create a custom stair runner were crazy, probably to pay commission on the sales people or rent for their fancy showrooms. I took my time at Fovama picking through all the samples in the store, I never felt rushed and the they brought me endless options offering to cut & combine boarders to make exactly what I was imagining in my mind. Their price was excellent. Everyone was very kind and professional. Installation went smoothly and they even offered to use left over scraps to make a door mat for us. I hated to cover the beautiful wooden stairs and reluctantly added the runner in the first place only for safety to make them less slippery. Now I LOVE the upgrade and think it adds some piece of mind and a bit of elegance and warmth too. Were looking forward to going back to Fovama when we re-do the next room.
