Awesome bowling alley that has more than just bowling! There are a ton of bowling lanes as well as lounge areas, ping pong tables, billiards, ski ball, karaoke, etc. Prices are also pretty good compared to other bowling alleys in Manhattan. The bowling alley is on the second floor when you enter (there’s an elevator). We came here as a group of 5 and ended up paying about $30ish per person for 1 lane for 2 hours (this includes the shoe rental). When we came, it was in the afternoon on a Sunday and it was pretty empty, so no problem walking in and reserving a lane.Pros:- GREAT space! Very large, clean, with many bowling lanes, along with ping pong tables, billiards, ski ball, karaoke, and more- Surprisingly good food!Mainly bar food (chicken wings, chicken tenders, guac and chips, fries, quesadillas, etc) but the menu is pretty large so you have things to choose from. Get the HAND CUT FRIES - they were AMAZING.- Food comes in “regular” size or “party size”- Alcoholic drinks also available- Friendly staff- Fun and elevated ambience- Great for hanging out with friends or going with your family (kid-friendly!)Cons:- Our lane was not returning our balls at first, but this was shortly resolved by the staff after telling them the problemMy friends and I had a great time here celebrating our friend’s birthday! The food was actually really good compared to the expected quality of food at bowling alleys. We got the hand cut fries (delicious), chicken taquitos (also good), chicken tenders (flavorful and not dry at all), and guac and chips (so-so).They also had sanitizer on the walls between lanes, which is great. Overall, we were very impressed with the ambiance of the place, there’s a great vibe/energy, good music, and cool lights.Would definitely recommend! Perfect for groups/large groups of friends, and families. Also seems like a perfect place for companies to also hold a “company event”.
Overall my friends and I had a good time. The food and drinks were great. The music was super lively and I think we danced more the bowled lol. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because the lanes are VERY close together. We were a party of 6 and the lane next to us had at least 10 people so we were literally on top of each other. But other then that it was a good time
The food was really good; we the pizza and bbq wings. I have visited two times, both with a group of people & have genuinely enjoyed myself. The customer service was fair (I would not say superb). Overall, nice spot to bowl with friends, family, & even bring your students (they have nice deals).
The place is great for going with your squad of friends. They have a DJ playing good vibe music, lots of food for a group of 6, that you choose, next to your bowling lane too. Deducted a star because my bowling lane had several technical issues. The last bowling lane. Other than that its very nice. Low-key pricy, but worth it. They have pool tables too!
I came here for pool and ping pong. The pool tables leave to be desired. The sticks are beyond their usable life and the table arent level. This being the said the ping pong tables more than make up for it. Quiet room away from the loud bowling lanes with a great ambiance. 6 tables so rarely full and great prices. Highly recommend!
My first time bowling in NY, so a first, for those coming from the UK, its great to pay by time, not by how many games. So your not penalised if you play faster games. Drink prices were on par with everyone else, good selection and the handsome guy on the desk made my day on the way out, when my stupid friend decided to ask him which one of us he would date. He choose me, despite somehow managing to shred my jeans whilst bowling revealing my underwear in all their glory! Thank god I was wearing some!!! Loved it, a definite place I will go back to next trip to NY.
The experience here was extremely terrible. We were deceived to having an open bar experience. PLEASE BEWARE ABOUT THAT! It’s not open bar but open cocktails only. We tried to have neat alcohol not shots but we were denied. The manager at this place was not accommodating at all as they had 1 waiter for 10 lanes and 1 bartender for the entire bowling alley. I had better experience at a bowling alley in Queens and Brooklyn. Do get the open bar package it’s extremely deceiving!!
I went there with a group of 8 people, some of us were late and they offered to let us start at a later time, that way we get our full 2 hours. The food was good and we couldn’t finish most of it, some of us also ordered drinks from the bar, and I must say, it was really good!!! They check ID for that. Although you wouldn’t be able to play that well after having a drink or 2. The lounge is very nice and I might go there again. I saw they have a karaoke lounge but it is not open yet.Really nice spot for a group or date.
I ordered nachos and a margarita pizza and I was pretty disappointed. Nacho chips were basically Doritos and the pizza was mediocre at best. Food prices are at least reasonably priced.Lanes on the other hand are $75/hr and you usually need to book a week in advance to get any chance of a lane.Music was mostly newer hip hop (not much R&B).
This place is truly hell on earth. The clown that worked at the front desk has no soul or heart, kicked a child out of our group at 8pm because they had to turn this “bowling alley” into a night club. Half the place was empty and they still shut down our game with 2 frames to go because our time limit was up, even though we showed up late, they refused to honor our 2 hour reservation. Half the place was empty! Actually surprising it was half full because as mentioned, this place is truly hell on earth. Go to Bowlmor where the place is run by civilized humans.
Came here because of a recommendation I saw on Instagram but wasn’t too impressed.Front desk staff wasn’t too keen on providing assistance. The shoe area didn’t appear very sanitary (you pick up and drop off shoes in the same place and it doesn’t look like they get cleaned or atleast sprayed down).Lanes are too close to each other so even if you reserve a lane it feels like you’re sharing it with another party and you have to use whatever balls they were already using. While the music is great it is really loud and the only way to communicate is to yell.Food and drinks are definitely over priced
This place is awesome loved the vip room and karaoke room. I had soo much fun. The food was good especially the fried shrimp. I think they should extend the tip.for the vip room though it was 20 of us and we didnt get to finish the game . But overall great experience. Beautiful place. Dj was on point as well
Good vibes, great music and lanes worked well! The only MAJOR ISSUE was that at the end of our alloted time, the lanes went dark immediately (someone ball was still going down the lane), the screens went blank with ads so no idea who won and the staff came over, took away our food and pourred all of our drink into one cup and walked off with it! Most of the drinks were half full and when we spoke to staff, they said so? and walked off as well! Really really bad! Very disappointed and left a sour taste in our mouths!
Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is nice. However, the past few times my boyfriend and I went, the servers never provided us with water, and the last time we went we were not even greeted by a server. And that last time we went it was unbearably humid inside so we could not do much without feeling sticky and hot.
Came here for a company event with my coworkers and boss.We got the Summer Splash package. The food was delicious and a great choice for our event. It was easy to eat while bowling. The place is clean and spacious so your not bumping elbows with other groups.Good music and happy atmosphere! The drinks were pretty good for the price.Overall:Had a such a great experience, was well fed, and the employees were responsive and respectful, its a great choice if your in a group!
This place suck. I wish to leave 0 stars. The service is so bad and Jesus Roldan as a manager - worst guy to deal with. One of our lane stopped working in a middle of our game and the only solution he offered wasnt convenient for us. No refund for time we had to wait till they fixed the lane. Avoid this place with all cost
I visit this location annually for our holiday party and always have a very good time. The bowling alley has a New Yorkcentric modern design with an upscale feel. Comfortable couches, several bars and great music make this a great location to spend time with friends and coworkers. The party food served is very good including fried chicken, margarita pizzas, pretzels and sliders. The cold beer towers help to quickly refill your drinks. The only reason for the 4 stars rather than the 5 stars is because several times on our lane (lane 1) after a player bowled the frame score would reset and at times move to a prior player. Fortunately we didn’t take the games too seriously as this causes the score to radically change. I would recommend this location and hopefully the issue with the lane frame resets get resolved.
Pretty decent place in Time Square and right to the back of Port Authority Bus Terminal. I went there for a private event and we had the entire bowling alleys, bar and karaoke. Food were just fair, and drinks were good though. Having good time and good place to host private events for 200+ people.
The atmosphere was a vibe but I dont like how when u try to reserve a lane on the website its a hit or miss. I reserve a lane earlier today and it went thru my end ( funds came out of account) but not on their end. Now I have to wait a few days for it to be refunded. So naturally we still went there and there was no spots available so we shot a few rounds a pool. All in all iy was ok like I said the atmosphere was a vibe but everything else was blah
The cocktails are strong, the equipment and the furnishings are in good condition. The service is great. One awesome thing is that you dont have to wait for the shoes rental - you can just pick a pair for your size from the conveniently organized cubby holes. Two things I dont like are:1. Lighting. The lights over the lanes are frequently dimmed to match the music videos that play on the screens over each frame. This might help the mood and stuff, but makes it hard to aim, actually.2. Balls selection. The combinations of weights/holes sizes are quite few. If you prefer a ball with bigger finger holes but dont want it to be a 15lbs block buster, you have to ask the desk, and even then the success is not guaranteed.
I honestly never write reviews but I planned a corporate event here and it was terrible. Our lanes were broken for about half of the time we paid for and management was incredibly rude and demeaning when we asked for some form of repayment or food/drink funds. Additionally, I was given the number of the manager and I called them numerous times and never received a response. Definitely dont recommend!
Have been here twice and this place is excellent for a fun Friday eve with team or friends/family. Servers are really pleasant and help you choose from lots of drink and food options. It can get crowded at times so make a reservation before you arrive. Dont miss to capture with the gorilla, if you can find it. ,)
Id have given this place 5 stars -- great location, cool interiors, friendly staff, well-planned floor layout, impeccable lighting, modern amenities, sumptuous food selection, lively ambiance, arresting video walls, amazing music, clean and spacious -- were it not for the fact that we came in early for our reservation but they started our bowling play exactly 15 minutes late! You cant have it all, I guess, and neither will they!
I had fun! Was just wondering why ita $75 per person.. bowling and bowling only was $157 for 2 people and it was actually more but I have my own shoes.I can do unlimited bowling cheaper in Bk. Ill come here if I want to splurge.Anyway, the drinks were good and so was the music.. like someone else said it should be at least 3 $$$ here. The atmosphere was nice though. The giant Connect 4 was broken.
Its fun place for corporate outings. We had great time, had two hours of bowling with food and drinks, however it mostly served fast food, such as fried chicken bbq chicken burgers and fries with soda. Fun place, because they have table tennis and karaoke options at the premise. Also you have to commute with subway or cab, parking is impossible to find in the area. Staff were helpful and very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place if you are planning to come for group outings.
My boys ages 4 &7 been bored in the house since I been busy with work. We decided to make today a mid day bowling break. I decided to take them to frames due to my history with the local spot in my teen years. Upon my arrival there were a few events going on, two workers behind the counter a male and a female working to get everyone situated. The young lady called us and we approached the counter, holding my youngest son hand I greeted the worker and thanked her for calling on us and I asked what I needed to do. She replied without acknowledging my greeting telling me the place was fully booked, looking at my boys exciting faces I asked how much would the ping pong tables cost, then I decided against it because the boys are so little. I tried explaining to her that the boys were really looking forward to bowling. The young lady signed herself out of her cash system, dismissing my attempts. I then caught her attention and asked her if there were a another local spot in the area. She disgustingly replied 47th &9 or 10 then dismissed me to go address her male colleague, I stood there shocked.I proceeded to her and excused myself for entering the conversation then I asked her if her issue was bad customer service or a case of racism. As I tried to express how I felt the young lady started shouting my boys shaken I lost my cool and matched hers. A waiter came stood by the counter asking me to leave, I asked for 911 to be called which never happened. I informed the young lady that she should be courteous, respectful to ALL customers as I informed her that Ill be sending out an email she taunted me by stating youll be sending an email to us, Ill still get it. As I head back to the elevator with my boys the male waiter followed up I asked him to please leave us alone and allow us to exit or call the cops .My 7yr doesnt quite understand he explains it as the lady was upset with mommy because we wasnt allowed to be there.
Wanted to have a fun night bowling and from the time we walked in the door man by the elevators was so rude and disgusting. The coat check woman said coat check wasn’t mandatory and then when we went to go upstairs he was so nasty and told us we had to put our coats in coat check. We finally get upstairs and what do I see everyone with their coats on. This man is tall light skin with little to no hair on the top and he refused to give us his name because he was so nasty. To the point it turned us off and we went elsewhere
The experience this go around was not as pleasant. 1st off I had to continue to rerack balls almost every other frame which cost me precious time to bowl with my friends. Then our balls were stuck for over 45min or so.I ordered the mushroom pizza and that was good and other than the server was the only thing from making my hang out very bad to start off the year. This place is way too over-priced for what the experience was worth. I rang up over $200 bill to Frames. If you are fancy and dont mind over-paying knock yourself out (literally and figuratively). They either need to scale back in pricing(which I know they wont do)bc if the are still getting customers than why not; or modernize the lanes so that they at least match with what they are overpricing the customers for. That was seriously terrible.
Vaccination proof enforced. Good for groups or date night. Lounge-y feel bowling alley with a karaoke section attached. Facilities are kept clean and well designed. They seemed short staffed, service is a bit slow, but everyone was friendly and for the most part helpful.Cross street is quite sketchy with a lot of homeless people around.
2 legit, 2 legit 2 split is our bowling team name! This is a decent bowling alley. Just off port authority. Tip: The entrance is on 9th Avenue between 41st & 42nd Street..do not follow the sign indoors that steers you to an inaccessible entrance on the 2nd floor of the port authority. The beer towers are a nice touch. And the food smelled good.
Great experience with Frayda. She took care of our party of 50 and gave us a great deal. The beer/booze kept flowing, the food was abundant and fed us very well, and the staff were very courteous and quick. Overall, the party had a blast and we will look forward to hosting at Frames again. The ping pong room is much more fun than the billiards room, so definitely try that out.Note that the party host MUST be there when the event starts with the CC, or your guests will not be able to start.
Really cool place. Good idea to reserve ahead. Although there is a small flexibility with hours. Early afternoon is obviously emptier. The menu is large and the service was prompt, professional but a bit pricey. The location is good and there are several parking garages nearby. The actual space is modern and a bit retro. More of an adult kind of place. There are private rooms as well for billiards.
A very varied place to spend a moment with family, friends or colleagues, very modern and clean, it has several bowling courts and also has ping pong tables and also billiards. The food is very good compared to others and the service is excellent, Javier served us. On weekends they have a DJ or live music, it has different areas to sit. I love it
This was a nice place, atmosphere was really nice and place was clean. The food was a little over priced and some was better than others. If you have a big group 15+ the private room is nice. But anything less I think its more fun to be put in the open with others and the Dj. Music was awesome to and the Dj took and played requests.
Great 2 hours of bowling and drinks with food. Our party was loud and crazy and they were super cool and accommodating. The wings were really good!!! Bowling was fun. They gave us a bucket if wipes to clean the balls and followed covid protocols. Thanks for putting up with us!!!Came here for a company event with my coworkers and boss.We got the Summer Splash package.
I had a really bad experience during my visit here with a staff member called Ebony. She was apparently the head over here.1) She spoke to us in a very rude tone when we arrived and tried to book a bowling lane.2) when i went to inquire about the bowling ball, i was told that “ i cannot come to the alley and show you where is the ball, just look for it on your own”.3) my bowling alley stopped recording our scores during the last ten minutes of the game, I approached Ebony for help. She was least accommodating of our complaint, instead she started fighting with us in an extremely rude and condescending way. Accused us of lying about bowling alley not working and being cheap about complaining for losing 10 minutes of the game. This is definitely not the behavior expected from her. All the other staff was very helpful and friendly except the manager Ebony who works at the front desk. I was hosting guests visiting from various cities and this wasn’t the NyC experience they were looking for. Thanks to Frames for spoiling our Sunday. Not worth visiting for sure.
Really bad experience during my visit here with one of the staff members who is the manager. While booking the lane for bowling, Ebony was quite rude to us. One of my friend went to inquire what the lightest bowling bowl was, he was told that “ i cannot come to the alley and show you which is the lightest bowl, just look for light colors on your own”.My bowling alley stopped recording our scores during the last ten minutes of the game, so we went to the front desk and it was empty. I went after 2 minutes and reported again. Ebony, after 5 minutes came to our laneand accused me of reporting the problem after the game had ended. When we tried to reason with them, they were very rude and kept accusing us.Horrible experience with the staff member.
Nice place, great food, but the shoes are rough looking (old and cracked). The good thing about it though is that you can pick your own shoes, so you can search and find a decent pair. But the shoes definitely dont match the place. Also, if you care about the score, take a pic of it before your time is up because it doesnt stay on the screen.
Ebony’s service is top notch no matter how busy, she’ll get to you. Adams service is 5 star! Came to bowl & never left the bar. Really sold me all across the bar “ literally “ got to taste & opinion-ate new drinks. Can’t wait to come back took care of me as soon as his bar opened. Rodney great manager. Professional & friendly. Abby great as well. Be back sooner than later. Thank you guys
Amazing place to hang out, have fun and just chill out. I went here just on happenstance and really nice vibe with a DJ playing some good music. You have the bowling alley along with Ping Pong tables and billiards. Ill definitely visit this place again and its a lot of fun when you have a crowd
The environment is super chill with bowling, 2 bars, pool, karaoke room, ping pong. Neon signs and plenty of seating. The reason for my one star review is how disgustingly gross and dirty the bathroom was. Toilets were clogged, toilet paper was everywhere. Unflushed feces. Most stalls didnt even have toilet paper in them. One toilet seat had blood all over it. I was shocked at the state and completely repulsed. Id hesitate before having a party here.
Very bad service and they force an 18% gratuity without a customers consent. Waiters guarantee the gratuity so they dont need to work hard. Food was awful!! Dont ask for chicken wings or their artichoke dip. Only thing edible was the chicken tenders.nice bowling atmosphere.
I did enjoy the food and the respectful employees overall had a good night. Unfortunately the night did not end on a high note.. we finished bowling at 9:55 pm we wanted to enjoy some ping pong afterwards so we took a quick bathroom break. It was 10:05 and we were denied the hour because they close at 11. We told the front desk lady we don’t mind forfeiting the extra time we will still gladly pay for an hour though we would finish before the hour(they would make the money and we would still enjoy at most 40 min..) Its a shame they couldnt accommodate us just because we didn’t ask at 10 on the dot.. we would’ve left way before the hour anyway. Just to say i think that was a big mistake on their part and unfortunately didn’t end on a high note.
If youre looking for a place to host a big birthday party, Frames is the place to be! My friend and I hosted our 23rd birthday here with a group of 40 people. Amazing experience, great service, loud music, and very accommodating. Would recommend this to anyone looking to have a fun birthday/event. Only suggestion Id have is if you are having a big group, book a few ping pong tables after your bowling time slot so you have a place to go instead of having to leave right when your time is up. 10/10 night!
I made a reservation for a party of 5 for my girlfriends bday. On 12/02/16 Everything was good but our bowling lane was having technical difficulties. After going back and forth with the front desk, the young lady in the front desk Vanessa (I believe her name was) kindly upgraded us to the vip room which was very nice of her and made me leave a review .
I had the best experience ever. They got the best customer care service ever. I had a big party size of 17 and my party planner help me make it the best. I highly recommend her, her name is Laura Kaczkowski so just call and ask to speak to her hell tell her I sent shes going to make sure you have a good time with your family and friends
I enjoy Frames Bowling. They provided us with loads of burgers, yummy pizza, tasty wings and delicious shrimps for my cousin’s birthday. I wore my mask most of the time because a lot of people weren’t and it’s still a COVID-19 world. I deducted a star because our waiter tossed a to-go box of our food and got a bit sassy/rude when we inquired where it was. We ended up having to speak with the manager and the manager placed another order for us to take to-go. So… 4 stars from me.
I went there with my friends on a Saturday evening and we all really enjoyed it that we couldnt step out of it before four hours. Service is excellent. Social distancing was followed there, which is essential thing now. It was definitely worth to pay the price. Must go there!!
Had a Fabulous time with the family. As always Frames staff was professional,& courtes. The staff made sure the Area was cleaned and sanitized And even placed a Huge bucket of Disinfectant wipes at our station for convenience. The food was 👍Great.and will continue to go back! Keep up the Great work Frames!
Frames is always a good time. The finger food is good, the dj is good and for the most part the service is good. Overall dope vibes. I’ve been here multiple times and always have a 5 star experience however they recently added karaoke as part of there party packages and I was disappointed to learn that they do not have a licensed karaoke catalog instead they downloaded a few YouTube video to an iPad and project the lyrics on the screen. This would have been fine but the problem is that 1. the song selection was limited 2. The video audio was louder than the mics. This is NOT real Karaoke but the atmosphere is a vibe.
Great 2 hours of bowling and drinks with food. Our party was loud and crazy and they were super cool and accommodating. The wings were really good!!! Bowling was fun. They gave us a bucket if wipes to clean the balls and followed covid protocols. Thanks for putting up with us!!!
Very cool. Came here for a team building event my boss coordinated. This place is like a night club! Great food, served buffet style with whatever alcohol you choose. Comfy couches for every lane. Theres also ping ping and billiards. All within easy walk of major subway lines. This is a fantastic place for work events or meeting friends, and considering what you get, the prices are fair. Highly recommended.
Very clean and upscale place. Great atmosphere. DJ definitely knows how to move the crowd and plays a great selection of music. Mainly hip hop. Drinks are good. Not watered down. The only minor issue I had was I ordered coconut shrimp and fries and it was salty. The chef was very generous with the salt. Other than that, I had a great time at Frames Bowling Lounge and would definitely do it again.
We were in the VIP area for a 30th birthday party and it was perfect! There were 13 bowlers but the space wouldve easily accommodated 5 more. The staff were all extremely helpful and attentive, the food was good, and we had a ton of fun. It is good to know that this room is rented by the hour, not per game, so whenever your time is up the lanes turn off no matter where you are in the game. Not a big deal for us, it was not competitive, just provided a fun and exciting place for friends to catch up and celebrate. I would go again and recommend to friends, and with a group of adults I would absolutely rent the VIP section again.
I came here for a family night out. I had a reservation for 8 ppl. The package included bowling, shoe rental, pizza, and chicken bites platter, soda pitcher, French fries and kids party menu for 2 hrs at $34.95 per person. The food was good and the music was on point. We had an enjoyable experience.
I had a great experience tonight. Awesome food, great service, and good music. There was a waiter for our party and he was right on point with everything we needed. I recommend this bowling alley to anyone looking to celebrate a loved one or for a night of fun. They were not cheap with the alcoholic beverages either.
Cool place and great energy. We spent most of our time in the games room. The Connect Four game was not working and spilling the chips on the floor. We watched it happen with two other groups of players so it wasnt just us. Also it was freezing the room. Way colder than in the main bowling area. Overall thought it is a nice place. You wont get a lane until way after midnight on a weekend so plan in advance! Make a reservation or forget it.
A great place to relax while others bowl. We made the kids have fun. We sat in the eating area right behind them to drink and eat. The food was amazing. Bathroom was clean and kept clean on rotation. Drinks arent strong but tastes good. The game room was fun. Its a good place to be.
Holiday party- first I have to say everyone from the front staff to the back house are so nice and the environment is very people-friendly and efficient. Cant say enough about the servers, Javier and Mike; they were so attentive. Also, everything flows very well from the check-in desk to the lanes to karaoke. My group of about 70 attendees had so much fun that they didnt want to leave when our time was done...and to think some werent sure if they were going lol. Convenient location in PABT; cant beat the food, plenty of options. Good fun, lots of smiles and laughs from the lyric lounge sessions. Everything was so well done. Kudos to all the staff! Highly recommend planning your next event here.
Had my daughters first birthday held in the lyric lounge. The food is surprisingly good and the atmosphere is very friendly and upbeat. Alcoholic beverages are overpriced but maybe its a good thing to not have anyone getting too drunk. The place is clean and has security staff that are non intimidating. Its nice to know they are keeping an eye out for their patrons. The staff handling our party were courteous and attentive and gave the feeling that they liked working there. We will definitely be back as a family to do some bowling or maybe having another party.
It was hot in there the entire time we played but I liked several things about it. The shoe selection is self service. The game computer felt like it was in good shape. All the balls were heavily scarred but that is normal. We played 2 full games with only 2 glitches. They were easily fixed by using the computer to cycle /reset. The music was fairly vanilla when I was there, but there were signs up about a live dj late at night. It is little weird when you go in. The first floor is under construction, so you are walking past a heavy tarp until you get to a little elevator. The elevator has signs all over it warning of a maximum capacity of 10 people. I didnt try the food or alcohol, so no comment on that.

Good place for a group party. They have games from bowling, ping pong to billiards. They have great combo options which include two hours bowling, two platters and two drinks each person. Best to choose that if everyone drinks. Also, they have l dance floor and place to eat too. The waiter and the staff is really helpful and ready to help with some confusion with the orders.
This place is awesome! One of the nicest and most reasonably priced places to bowl in the NYC area. Great with groups - online booking was super easy and when we arrived everything was ready to go! Staff was super friendly and eager to help. Love the self-serve shoe area. Cocktails were seriously on point. Entire place is nicely decorated and maintained. Great deals for late night bowling on weekends. Cant say enough great things about it. I plan to be there a lot in the future!
We had a company get together here, the location is super convenient and easy to get to using the subway. The parking around their is very expensive, so use public transportation. The place can get busy in the evenings, we went on a Friday. The booking process was a breeze and so was getting the lanes going. The food options are expensive and it is better to take one of their various packages, instead of ordering the lanes and food separately. Gratuity of 18% is automatically added to the bill, but the service is not up to the mark and you feel rushed , especially close to the point where your reservation is ending. They book on the hour, so make sure you consider that when timing it. There are restrooms at the place.
Great but fairly expensive bowling alley right near port authority. The space is big and expansive and the beer selection is pretty good. Prices are fine. We actually did the private bowling room which was really fancy and fun. Service was really good and the food was surprisingly tasty.
Visited on a Saturday with 3 friends to bowl/eat. They have a great summer package, $40/pp which includes 2 hrs bowling , 2 drinks pp, and 2 menu items for the party. The lanes were clean , and it was a fun environment. The food was of great quality as well. I should of snapped a pic before I started eating, but was too hungry 😂
Plenty of Lanes. Ideal for team competitions.Music is good. Fair selection of music from different times. I particularly relate with 2000s. I felt very much at home.Food options are good. Varieties of options with different sauces to cater to different degrees of spice lovers.Drink options are pretty good too. Beer lovers would fit right in
My surprise birthday party was thrown here and I can definitely say everyone had a great time. Our Kareoke lounge was very roomy (there was about 20 of us in total and we could have fit a lot more) with the open bar right outside. The staff was really kind and kept coming around to make sure we had enough food (may depend on the meal package). Overall, it was an amazing experience!
My Colleagues and I meet here for the right to brag who had the best bowling team one night after a long work week. It was Friday at 6.30 pm, the place was almost empty. I figured since it was summer everyone wanted to be outdoors. At about $37 dollars a head drinks, ball and shoes were included, not a bad deal for the city. There is also a pool table there. We ordered food of course, the platters came loaded. Food was well prepared and our group had an especially great server. The bathroom are well kept. One problem, with the going vegan movement, this business needs to adjust their menu alittle, which is why I subtracted a star. I had only one avocado and corn chip dish order an no other choices. So vegans eat before you go especially if you plan to have a few drinks.
Very fun, nice atmosphere, definitely better than alot of bowling alleys ive been to, food was pretty good, service was okish. Bartender was pleasant servers were pretty rude, but didnt really need them for much. This was a outing for my coworkers and myself, so I would say this is a very good place to bring large groups for some food and fun. Lots of fun photo opportunities as well.
Frames bowling lounge is a cool, low-key ,very chilled out spot. I had went out there with a party of nine people and had a blast there. The food was great and had came on time, plus they even place your food under a lamp warmer just in case you were busy trying to score a strike on your first turn.. ha! Overall..the prices were fare, drinks were strong. It was 18 dollars for the shoes and only 5 dollars per game, per person .. but would definitely recommend this place!
Javier was beyond amazing, he was our waiter for the night. He was great for the whole night, However towards the end of the night the rest of the staff were telling us we had to chug our drinks since they were about to close. That wasn’t cool because we paid $290 for 2 hours of open bar which started at 8:40. They should put in the fine print if it’s 11pm we can’t drink anymore. I would’ve never booked this place if i knew they would tell us we had to leave rather then let us finish our drinks. Thank you Javier for a great night of customer service. You should teach your peers on what customer service is!
Food was great but when it came down to our waiter and the service he provided was terrible. When had a party of 7 there so we had a package deal that came with some appetizers and drinks. We wanted to order additional drinks we had to wait 25 minutes to find the waiter. After waiting that long I noticed the waiter with his coat on coming from outside. Then he was socializing with Co-workers when I tried to get his attention he screamed wait a minute from across the room. Then another party walked in instead of him greeting them saying Ill be right with you he walks over takes their order still all while we watched & waited. Very very unprofessional. Finally he came over to us smelling like cigarettes and said what do you want. Im appalled by this service and I would like to get contacted by management there regarding this.
Very good experience, staff was accommodating and friendly! My only critique is that the bar staff at the bar closest to the bowling area, were slow. I was standing at the bar at one point for 7 minutes before any bartender greeted me, and it wasnt like they were super busy, they were just conversing with other staff. That was a bit irritating.
Ive celebrated a few birthdays here and gone with my boyfriend just for fun. I recommend getting one of the event packages if you have a party of 4 or more as they usually including 2 hours lane time , show rental and either drinks or food for decent service price. The music is always great and they have lots of other things to do if bowling isnt for you.
Fairly quiet, we went mid pm, perfect because we had a farewell party. I didnt like that our games were abruptly stopped, I guess our time is up, but maybe there should be a warning. What if we opted to extend? Food options- mostly fried and plentiful for sharing. Theres roasted veggies with dips-ok. You have your own table across the lanes for those who dont want to play. They have a bar too. Tip: alcohol is served here. Rentals come with bowling shoes but no socks.
A fun, high-quality bowling experience. Pricing is fair, the place is well laid-out, and clean.Ran in to two bits of trouble:- Security here is overwhelming and rude. After our time ended they pushed us off the lane before we could even tie our shoes, to get the next group in. I understand the urgency, but it wasnt done with any tact- Non-alcoholic beverage options are woeful for the drink tickets if you buy a package deal.

2022-01-24I went here for a team outing back in December 2021; youll have to show proof of vaccination, but masks are not required nor enforced when youre bowling. Our group ordered lots of food, great selection of appetizers, and drinks made the night really fun!

2022-02-17We had such a fun night at Frames. Our twins were celebrating their 20th birthdays so we booked the food/soda/bowling/shoes package. It was $285 for seven of us to bowl for two hours. Not only did the package include TONS of food, it was actually quality food. We especially enjoyed the handmade chicken tenders. Service was great and the atmosphere reminiscent of a club more than a bowling alley. I highly recommend.

2022-03-23I had a great time here. Attended a birthday bowling celebration. The food - sliders, wings, and fries were good. The staff was helpful, the layout was good. After 7pm the DJ began playing and the music was great.

2022-02-13The Buffalo chicken slider were good , and the crispy shrimps. The place was huge the had a lyric lounge for karaoke. It’s was a nice party .One thing I didn’t like , I didn’t get to finished the game. It’s 14 of us so bowling isn’t as fast. We are subject into 2 hours in the bowling lane no matter u finish or not . That’s sucks .

2022-06-22Nice, modern spot. Went on a weekday so it wasnt too busy but they still finished our game a few minutes earlier than the hour which was annoying. Mid range, avg priced cocktails and decent selection of bar food.

2022-02-26This place is a mess.We made a reservation for 3 in advance to make sure we got a lane on a Saturday afternoon. You have to come 30 min early because the elevator only allows 5 people in it at once and is SLOW so creates a long line. If other members of your party come early, they’re unable to start without the person who made the reservation. We were late to our start time due to the elevator backup. We were gonna finish our second game 5 min past the hour (we were on the 6th bowl) I ran up to the front and asked if we could have just the 5 min and, very dismissively, I was shut down and told that the lane was booked exactly at the hour. When I asked to extend the time I made sure that there was no line waiting to get in. We finished our drinks at the bar and (out of curiosity) to see when the next res would should up. They showed up 30min past the hour. (Probably because of the elevator LOL.)The gratuity is included on everything so the waitstaff is also slow and careless. In general the bowling staff is rude and unprofessional. There are definitely kinder approaches to take towards clientele. The only saving grace is the DJ - making the music and overall experience tolerable.

2021-08-05Took my Family here for an afternoon of fun and it was well worth it. 2 hours of unlimited play and delicious finger food. Paid a great price for the two hours. If you sign up for their emails you’ll get especial invites to book easily on line. When you arrive the check in is easy. Great customer service also.

2022-01-24The service starting at the entrance made us feel welcome. He recommended the food, he said that he loved to eat there. The drinks were great. Spicy Margarita memorable experience. And chicken wings are so much to describe with letters. Our bartender can count on 2 new regulars. 5 stars are not enough.
