Franks Pizza in other cities:
I’ve been going to Franks for over 30 years I have never had a complaint I ordered the chicken Parmesan with spaghetti the chicken was terrible was tough overcooked I said something to the manager and his answer was well sometimes these things happen and he did nothing for me I thought I needed something done but when you’re a good customer and you come into a store and you have deliveries at your house and you never make a complaint he should’ve done something for me that’s all I got to say that he did not do the right thing and the manager is a nasty man
I ordered Pasta & Meatballs, a 2 liter of soda, 6 pc chicken wings, a soup & 1 slice of pizza.it was 50$.that is pricey af.They did not send me the pizza at all. They charged a delivery fee of 2 dollarsI live 3 blocks from the store.i tipped 3 dollars on top of that charge-delivery guy says if thats the best you can do...
This is hands down the best pizzeria in Brooklyn. The crust is absolutely perfect and the cheese is the kind of hot you can only get with an old school good oven. Franks is an authentic as New York gets. Hes a tip if you are going to dine in, instead of ordering a soda for everyone for $1.50 just order a 2lt bottle for $3.
If you are talking Italian food made to perfection this is it! In the past I have even called to make a fresh calzone with no ricotta, just mozzarella and pepperoni and they accommodated me as well. Love the fact as well if you order a hero it comes in a little hero box. Made the toasted to perfection chicken parm taste that much better. Dont hesitate if you are lucky enough to give Franks a delivery order or if you are going in to grab it and fo or sit down and eat a nice meal you will not be disappointed. Support local business 🤟🤘👣
This place is my favorite pizza spot in Brooklyn! Best pizza! I go there like every week. The staff upfront are some of the realist nicest people you want making your pizza or Italian food. I truly love this place. I even had a celebration using this place to serve my food so that saids enough.
Ive been ordering delivery from this restaurant for years. The older man that works there answering the phone needs to be replaced. Rush your call and is nothing but rude. Took me three times to call them to get the total of my order because I was placed on hold or hung up on. So I called and canceled my order. Were in a pandemic still and Im trying to help by ordering food for my whole family. I dont need someone who doesnt want to work to be rude to me or anyone during a phone order.
Love their pizza and baked clams! The best anywhere!! Great grilled chicken and salad. Chicken cacciatore...yummy. All the pasta dishes ... delicious. Their house dressing is delicious and unique. Great service. Just a great neighborhood traditional Italian vibe. And again best pizza and baked clams. Those two menu items alone are worth the trip.
I love their pizza !!!!!! I was really disappointed when I moved to Brooklyn from Staten Island , prior to living on the Island I lived in Manhattan and in Manhattan you always find good food. But coming to Brooklyn and trying the pizza spots around my house we’re literally disgraceful. I’d rather not mention the spot but it’s a block away from my house and I just can’t bring myself to getting their food. At one point I thought I was stuck with this pizzerias trashy food until I spotted Franks. All it took was one pie and I was sold. The feel of the establishment when you first walk in just felt like a real old school Italian pizzeria that you know was gonna have some good pizza.
Before the fire: The sauce is excellent, I wish I knew the secret. The pizza is awesome the crust was just right and you could see the flour underneath-no burn marks. They can seat 6 adults at the table and when I went there with many people the food was served at different times. Meaning-one would get the hero as the others waited for the pasta & veal dishes. We had appetizers and meals but for the price we can go other places for less. Now after the fire, I dont find it all that good. I dont know what happened. They do have another restaurant attached for fine dining and I feel they raised the prices to the pizza joint and its no frills there. The waitresses try hard but just cant deal with the place when it gets busy.Come back to normal prices and we will return!
Great authentic Brooklyn pizza!I was passing through the neighborhood yesterday on my way to a meeting & needed to grab something quick to eat because I hadnt eaten. I knew a good slice was what I needed but I wasnt familiar with the area. I found Franks on Google Maps & saw that it had a 4 & 1/2 Star rating so I knew this would be the place. Plus it was right on the way to where I was driving.I could tell when I walked in that this is the neighborhood spot for pizza & Italian. Grabbed a quick slice to eat on the way and from the first bite it was fantastic. Super crispy crust, the melted mozzarella was lightly browned on top, and the sauce was that perfect combination of sweet & tangy. That was exactly what I was looking for! Its getting harder to find real old-school pizza shops that make traditional NYC pies & slices to go.So now I know another go to place when Im in Brooklyn & craving good pizza!
I randomly stopped to grab a pie here one day because it was on my route, but now I cant eat pizza from anywhere else. Their pizza is just that good. The gentleman who makes the pizza does a amazing job and is super friendly and welcoming. I took away one stars because one of the guy who takes phone orders is rude and is always touching his nose. I try to avoid him at all cost. Last time I dealt with him I said Thank you and he responded with ehh.
Italian pizzeria restaurants has its legendary and legacy. This may be my first location at Franks Pizza, but overall, this is not my first Brooklyn local pizza locations. There are more than one pizza locations across the borough, or across the city.Nevertheless , the pizza, that I just ate ,has a pretty damned good quality. The place, itself is very adequate cleanliness, and the performance of ordering my pizza service is good enough. You really, dont have to pack your bags to get a great pizza. You can get it here.I love pizza , whether I go to Staten Island, long island, Stamford,CT,......... It doesnt matter where l go. As long as these people doing their job well, everything is gonna be okay. Thanks for serving me at Franks Pizza palor🍹🇺🇸🗽🦅🍕
I eat pizza all over NYC and this place is above average and way above average for the area it is in. Obviously good ingredients used and the oven is cool. Never seen a round one that spins. You can have pizza or sit and have a served meal. Prices are right but a little funny. A slice and a water comes out to $4.07, strange
Your search is over. In my opinion this is the best Sicilian slice anywhere. I know Queens, Brooklyn and Manhattan very well. Long Island too. THis is the best. The other food is very good too, but the Sicilian is the best. Nice and high with a crispy bottom. Plenty of sauce with dripping Mozzarella on top. The way it should be. Cheese on the bottom is not A Sicilian to me. I discovered this place 25 years ago and its just as good as it was back then. I dont live nearby anymore but when Im nearby I always try to stop in for a slice.
Havent been here in years. From what I remember it used to be great. Went today with my boyfriend. Horrible experience. All the staff started eating at a table right next to us which was really uncomfortable. We ordered baked ziti with meatballs and rice ball parm. Ziti plate was filled with water absolutely no taste. So disappointed. $80 check and the best thing was the pre packaged butter they put on the table.
Pizza was average. We only ordered from here because our go to pizza place is closed on Sundays. Delivery took less than half an hour, which was great, but they failed to tell us about the delivery fee when we placed our order. There was an okay amount of topping though, so I guess Ill have to give them that. I would mind trying it out again but only for eat-in.
Excellent! I ordered trays of food for my fathers birthday and everyone complimented them. They were fresh, delicious and I placed the order through Sam and he was such a nice person. I am going to order from them again. I have not 1 bad word to say about the people or the food.
Placed an order online and I was told the order didn’t go through but yet they charged my card. When picking up the food I showed them the charge on my card and they told me I was lying and that I ordered from the wrong franks pizza. I had to open up their website and explain to the two old men how the internet works and that I in fact did use their website.
This restaurant is certainly one of the tastiest place in the region. Always when I come to this place I am remarkably pleased. They always keep their very high standard service and the highest level of meals they provide. You always win with this place. Very recommended.
Decided to run in here given the fact I havent visited this location in a while. But I must say its the best pizza in town especially towards kings plaza and sheepshead bay area. It was completely delicious, every slice. I visited with a friend and a bunch of happy kids. (Some customers seemed a bit unwelcoming and snuddy, not sure why but maybe because they were lonely and miserable and the sight of kids bothered them. I could have cared less) However, the staff was superb! The kids were all satisfied as well as myself. We had a pie, a couple of more slices for a second and third slice for everyone and a pitcher of ice tea. It was a good value and the waitress was very pleasant and sweet.
A Gem of an Italian restuarant/ pizzeria in Brooklyn.Alm the classics covered. Food is VERY good and fresh with generous portions.Wait staff and order takers are very nice and add to the old school atmosphere here. The locals are loyal and they have every reason to remain that way.I have never had a disappointing meal here.Neither will you.
My dad and I knew Frank and his family when it opened. I remember stopping there when my Dad drove the 41 Bus at the stop. What a Blast!! The 1st Pizza go round oven, and the pies were 75 cents for a small and 1.00 for a large. I was able to do a take out with my Schwinn, and the monkey bars, holding 2 large pies at a a time to E38st.
Ordered online, delivered by DoorDash and it was missing the Pizza. When contacted, they were quite unhelpful, and rude, and .... Though my credit card was charged and I was calling in to report the missing item, what I heard him say was to contact the real Franks Pizza that delivered from out of a million in the neighborhood.. Will skip them for good.
I came in and ordered two pepperoni slices. Few minutes later the cashier attempted to give me 1 slice with pepperoni, and one plain slice. When I told him, I ordered 2 pepperoni, he responded with an attitude “ we put all the pepperoni in one slice “ I laugh and said these slices are for two different people. Why are you not giving me what I ordered. The cashier proceeded to give me and attitude, and that’s when I took my money back and left. This was my first time and last time there. When you entered the environment, you could tell my kind was not wanted in here. I would never go back there, and will never refer anyone there either

2022-03-18DO NOT GO HERE! Just left this establishment. Quite busy which is to be expected on a Friday night. Waited patiently for several minutes for my turn while the cashier was assisting two women in front of me. In walks another customer who went directly to the counter to look at a menu. When he finished he waited to be served. One of the workers (perhaps the manager) who made eye contact with me SEVERAL times and NEVER even said a hello instantly greeted and assisted the gentleman. As a black customer in an all white establishment WHAT ELSE AM I TO THINK. My business was NOT wanted nor valued there. I immediately walked out. No need to cause a scene. No need to demand respect or service. Our business is NOT wanted there. If this matters to you whoever you are or look like then I URGE you, do NOT invest in this establishment. Im sure there are plenty of other friendly and welcoming businesses in the area! 2022! Come on already! This is tiring!

2019-11-27Its been 20 years since Ive had a slice here and oh my, nothing has changed. Deliciously fresh ingredients, a perfect crust and a tomato sauce like no other. Still a true contender in the Brooklyn Pizza War.

2022-02-03Decided to give this place a chance despite two different friends telling me they fell off a long time ago. Had a sick pug that I held in my arms ( straight from the vet) for a quick to go order. Dirty looking manager demanded that dogs are not allowed.I told him that he will be in my arms for the duration of the order and that I was taking my food to go. Dirty man refused and demanded I leave regardless.Jokes on him because I work at an office nearby, where a whole team of us would be ordering large orders multiple times a week.AVOID this clown place.

2022-05-09Their driver (the the franks bay pizza sign on the car) went right through a stop sign, with no stop, almost crashing into me. So for that, I’ll give a 1 star review

2022-04-26Delivery drivers are dangerous driving around the neighborhood with zero disregard for stop signs , and speed limits . Be careful around these drivers they are a endangerment to Marine Park Public Safety . Owner is a wanna be tough guy
