Had to pick up parts today at Fred Chall in preparation for winterizing my boat. Jeff in parts was both knowledgeable and fast. I highly recommend this place for your boating needs.
Sales people are knowledgeable and pleased to share what they know. Theyll find those hard to find parts you need. Marine always costs more but these guys are cheaper than WM.
Much better stock selection than West Marine. Although way overpriced, they at least have somewhat of a selection. The salespeople are more helpful and even say thank you, something not seen in todays stores.
FRED CHALL IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY!! You pick up any item and dust falls all over you!! Very unclean store, and the owner is very rude and unpatient all I can think of is VERY unprofessional!!! Counter is disgusting, the rug looks like its 100 years old the store is gloomy and dim. I would never reccomend this store to anyone I know.

Needed a hard to find fuel punp rebuild kit for a mercury 300 promax x....on Memorial day...no one that was open stocked it...Fred Chal was open...had 2 genuine merc parts in Stock ..cheap price...hr later engine is running..top knot notch ...ty my dudes 420

2021-04-21Happy to have this place and staff so close to home! Jeff in parts is on point and straight to it too... Most of the fellas that work there have been there for many years and with that comes experience and confidence to get you the right parts and get you back on the water. A lot of OEM parts in stock, prices are on par and often better than online stores like amazon, but no waiting for delivery. Do yourself a favor and shop local...the weekend doesnt wait for you to fix your boat!

2021-05-21My go to place for all my marine needs. Jeff, Mitch, Paul & Maryland are always there to help. They have the parts department locked down and have what you need. These guys work hard keeping everything in stock. Boat part #s are nothing like car part #s. Two different worlds. These guys always take care of me.

2019-04-13Always a great buying experience for me ..Well furnished with all sorts of parts, accessories, and boating supplies. The staff is very knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and willing to help and answer your questions. And if your needs are those of a higher or unusual level, the Mel the owner, who personally attends all phases of the business, will definitely find a solution for your problem or project. I have bought everything for my boating hobby at this store: from the smallest stainless screw to a complete 8 cylinder mercruiser engines and everything in between. Always in full satisfaction and at the lowest price.

2018-04-19In general, I like the friendly staff and large selection. Unfortunately, they provided me with wrong parts for my engines, despite having my engine serial numbers.I wasted hours in the cold, trying to figure out why things were not working properly.They did exchange the bad parts for correct ones but it still hurts that I paid almost 50% more for the parts and had to do the job twice.Could have incurred major damage if I did not spot their mistake.

2020-02-13Changed rating to one star, would be zero if I could. Walked in, store was empty and ask three salesman if someone can assist me in looking for a fish finder. All three looked at each other and then decided who the lucky one was that had to help me. No knowing what brand, model, features etc., how was I to answer him. He said look and touch the display units and make a decision, ON WHAT?. What is down scan, side scan, sonar, si, vs and so on. No Help At All. DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR..GO ELSEWHERE, you can buy marine supplies anywhere, doesnt have to be here. Dont know if he was the owner or manager but he ought to be replace. Good Luck
