The place was great especially since my friends and I came here for a quick stop. They have unlimited options of ice cream which really makes it heard to decide what you want. They have food as well, also unlimited options. We ordered the loaded waffle fries with chicken tenders and it was good but there was too much cheese for the amount of fries and tenders other than that it tasted good. The service there was good as well.
Im surprised friendlys still exist but I forgot how good there food was to bad the one close to me was closed and so was the one in Brentwood when I was a kid
Terrible service and attention. I wanted to make delivery and my order was not prepared for exactly 1 hour. There was terrible customer service. The employee dropped the ice cream spoon and did not wash it. Used box to use again and again put in the old box. I told her (which was name nillio or millio like this) you made waste my time because of you don’t work just walk arround. My order should have already been on time at 15. A awful experience. I will never go again. Ill tell everyone how badly you are. Mr. Beans
My old favorite is still the same. Good, fast food for the price. Very clean, bright and has a more modern feel than most Friendlys I have been to
We literally were standing there with my sister for more than an hour! We went there for pick up our order. And staffs were slow and disrespectful. When we ask how long does it take? then she rudely said you have to wait! Already I have been waiting for an hour… And one more thing, No body can imagine that what I saw at this place. The lady which is working here dropped the spoon and took back it from the floor for use!!!!! One star because 0 stars are not acceptable.
We literally were standing there for like 10 minutes an employee acknowledged by making eye Contact five times as soon as another couple walks in instead of acknowledging us or even asking us and letting the other customers know they were here after us he just seated them and completely ignored us once again This is now like the third time that this happened 3 times I understood first two times but this 3rd time was just a joke my family and I just left .
True to their name, they really are friendly! The staff was super nice, considering they had 14 teenagers at one table, and we had a great time. Their services are rather quicker than I expected from a restaurant and I had a wonderful time. There was a wall dedicated to beautiful art, too! Im sure we would all return in a heartbeat!
Even though they seemed to be short staffed they worked it out well. They moved with urgency and kept smiles on their faces. We even saw a manager helping vacuum the floor. Food was pretty decent. The kids chicken looked super dry and I had to scrape off the breading but the chicken was actually moist. The ice tea had a weird flavor so the waiter changed out my drink to a soda. The kids enjoyed their sundaes.
We went after my daughters spring concert, even though it was super busy the staff worked thier butts off and everything was great.
My sister and I went to Friendlys for the first time in at least 10 years. It was simple, fun food. Our waiter was very kind, and the restaurant was near empty.
Nice staff, never a wait. Kids will be their if you dont like loud noses sometimes dont go, but to bring your kid its a great friendlys. My little one likes the mini burgers

Im giving this place 4 stars, only because of the service we received and the ice cream was good. But the actual entrees that we ordered werent that good. My burger bun was dry, no condiments, no onion, an old piece of lettuce. If you want good ice cream and nice hospitality come here. Other than that dont get the burger lol
There was a roach on our table while we were eating. They also weren’t being considerate of social distancing . It was not crowded but they kept seating people close to each other. Even if individuals are vaccinated doesn’t mean they are safe from catching covid. Especially with there being 2 new strands out. Our waitress was sweet and food was good but didn’t appreciate her not wearing a mask while serving us.
Overall good, however service started to slow down at the end of the night. There was a significant wait after ordering ice cream, and some of us had to send the eve cream back to be remade. One has to be sent back again as the pages the wrong topping. Overall, good food, tasty ice cream as always but definitely lost a star for the fumbling at the end of the night.

The Lemon Pepper Fish was not very good.It looked and tasted like a piece of freezer burned fish for $10.99.It did NOT look anything close to what was in the menu. It did not have any pepper on it. It was an over soggy fish, heated to the point all moisture was cooked out.Very Bland, unsavory, unappetizing, sad piece of meat.I do not recommend purchasing this item on the menu.Poor Service... Food was served in increments to the adults before the five children which caused anxiety with the children and other Friendlys guests
Definitely need new management waited 10 minutes and nobody came over. Ended up leaving with my kids. Workers were just not paying attention and not siting anybody down.
Friendly is on of my favorite places to eat. There places are always clean And always give good vibes! As For The service I think it depends on the waiter you have.some waiter are there to work And give you a good dining experience so you’ll come back. Then there some Waiters that Just don’t care And wanna get you in and out so they can leave. Over all they are pretty good and the service is good most of the time. Great prices For The Big Amounts of food they Give! I’ll definitely be Coming Back.
After I got seated it took forever just to get some drinks and even took longer for someone to take our orders, I had to call on someone who wasn’t our server to take our order mind you there was NOBODY in the restaurant. Then a group white kids came in and they were taken care of right away drinks right away server took there order. I feel discriminated against because I am Hispanic, treat me the same way you treat everybody because I work hard for my money I don’t steal it. If you are African American or Hispanic or any kind of minority I recommend not going
This is my dads favorite place - staff treated him like a king and the process my sister and I had a wonderful time. Service was incredible and in this day and age - that is saying something.
Went there while visiting Long Island, NY. The restaurant was quite busy but seating was available. We placed our order. Our food was brought promptly. The waiter was polite and efficient.
Staff is very attentive to patrons 🙄 booth and table was greasy and no attempt to show any care at all in their work. No wonder people stopped going here.

Doesnt serve breakfast. little menu options...I slightly enjoyed my food but half of the people there i went with didnt. Ice cream was nice. good for lunch and dessert.
Very disappointing, I ordered a BLT, no mayo, my stomach erupted, I could not stand up straight, hot and cold flashes, my daughter ordered a plain chicken sandwich, her stomach erupted. I will never, ever eat or recommend you to ANYONE !

Decently good eatery in my opinion. Not my restaurant of choice, but loved by many children including my youmger self. Its a nice, sort of childish atmosphere along with super kind staff. Food takes forever to come and Im not the biggest fan of the food, but the ice cream is awesome! Id totally just go for dessert.
Came in on a Thursday nite with my kids. Shannon was absolutely awesome. She was super attentive and made sure we had a great experience. Food was as expected from Friendlys - good and fried. I like the new layout of the place and will be coming back again with my kids. Overall very happy.
The apple harvest chicken salad was good except for the chicken..it was rubbery with a stringy texture. The sundaes are always good though..except the last 3 times I have had dine in icecream the sundaes came out half melted. The restaurants were not always crowded when this happened so not sure what the new process is...maybe needs a review?

Went here for Ice Cream. Havent had Friendlys ice cream in a long time. It was worth it. I did take out not sit down. Staff was polite and friendly. Will go again.
I walked into the restaurant and was told they would be right with me. Seemed a bit busy but there was open tables. I waited patiently for about 15 minutes and someone who had just walked in was immediately seated. My niece then looked at me and said “didn’t she get here after us.” The same individual who seated her passed by three more times before I decided to leave.
Here is my experience as a DoorDash/UberEats driver.You must go inside and wait in the lobby, where everyone is eating, no masks, no partitions, hardly any social distancing going on here.I felt like I was waiting for the longest 10 minutes of my life while inhaling everyone’s breath.I also noticed that the cooks in the back were not wearing their masks over their nose/mouth, while preparing food.I wouldn’t recommend going here if you are being cautious about Covid. If you are a no masker, this place will be awesome for you.I looked up their policies and it states masks are to be worn, which they are not following.
Friendly staff and very accommodating. We went as a group and it was not a big deal sliding tables together. Some of us even ordered breakfast at dinner time and it wasnt an issue. The food was hot and good. A good place to stop in for a bite.

My mother in law, wife and I stopped by for a bite. The food was filling and the place clean. The service is quite good. The employees are so courteous. Not a romantic place but definitely for the family. Good eatings.
I love this place. They have my favorite butter crunch ice cream that I always ate since I was a kid (decades ago)! The staff is super friendly, the ice cream is delicious and everyone deserves to treat themselves once in a while!

Ordered friendzs for delivery on doordash. friendz lids are open and bags they were packed in were also opened. not covid friendly. should plastic wrap or have full covers and tape/staple bags like every other place i have ordered from.
0 STARS! Called ahead to get an order of fries with a side of cheese sauce. When I arrived, I had to wait 15 minutes to be helped when all I was doing was picking up my food. NOT ONLY did the guy on the phone ring me up wrong, but my fries were cold and the manager was NASTY!!! She practically threw my order at my face and was not friendly whatsoever. NEVER going here again.
The only place that embraces my son with special needs. They are beyond quick and patient. The staff has no idea how much my family and I appreciate them.
Very good food excellent service
I go pretty often and each time the service gets crappier and crappier. I told the hostess I needed a highchair and she pointed to the stack of them and said they are right over there. Then my husband asked for another coloring page and she said sure, its right behind the podium...next theyll probably ask me to scoop my own ice cream.
Day I went they looked short staff, waiter was very helpful and food arrived a little late but not bad for the price, the banana split is very delicious. Place is nice and clean with ready to take home ice cream cakes.

This particular friendlys too me deserves a 3/5. Heres why.Well, the place is pretty sanitary. Besides the bathroom (which could sometimes be pretty gross, but most times ok), this Friendlys is clean.The burgers are great, and the boneless wings are ok, so the food overall is mediocre.The staff is, again, mediocre. They arent the best because they can sometimes be rude or have a little attidude, but most times they are very nice and helpful.So overall, I give this Friendlys a 3/5! Enjoy!
Very unsanitary. The worker put cake pieces with her bare hands in my birthday cake friendzee without any gloves. Also ordered a hunka chunka PB fudge lava cake and they forgot to put the lava cake in it.

Everybodys favorite place to go after _________ practice. Every night of the week youll see kids in their jerseys, cleats whatever getting a much deserved ice cream. With two kids that are active in sports, we eat here more than we eat at home.The menu has enough variety to cover most kids and adult tastes. Except for couple of times when the food came out not as hot as Id like, its usually prepared well. They do change the menu around a little to mix things up. But for the most part the kids menu stay the same, chicken fingers, quesadilla, hot dogs, mac & cheese.Over the years theyve maintained a few regular waiters/waitresses, with a few new ones that come and go. Some better than others and some sharper than others. Case in point...A couple of weeks ago, while we were there for lunch, there was a power outage in the area. All the waiters had to write up the checks by hand. The items we ordered came out to about $25. It almost cost us $225 dollars because our waiter couldnt do the math for the check. We watched him use up two sheets of paper trying to figure out that the tax on $25 was $200. He multiplied 25 by 8 (for 8 percent tax). My 11yo son started laughing...I had to tell him to walk away. In the car i looked at both of my kids and told them...thats why its important to go to school. :)The waiter seemed like a nice guy...but really $200 tax?!?
The food is whatever. It’s friendlys, if you’re looking for gourmet food you’re in the wrong place.What sticks out about this location is the lazy, inattentive and frankly rude staff comprised of what seems to mostly be teenagers. Multiple times they’ve forgotten items for delivery/pick up due to lack of any attention or care to their customers. They have never done anything to remedy this issue either. I always have to drive back to the restaurant to get the food they forgot.
Great food, great value, especially for breakfast. Good deal for seniors every day of the week all day long. Location is convenient with easy on, easy off parkway and Route 25. Use Indian Head Rd just North of 25.

If your drunk and willing to spend roughly 20 dollars on a face pancake and fries they will get you good dont worry about that. If your trying to say have a nice dinner your better off getting white castle and eating in the motor inns back parking lot. 2 stars

By far the busiest Friendlys in Long Island. Easy to see right off of Jericho Turnpike servicing Commack and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Close to the Sagtikos State Parkway. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Clean facilities. Reasonably priced. Lots of families. Teens at night especially on the weekends. Daily food and drink specials.
Went here tonight with my whole family .. we got sat down from the young manager. We waited 30mins and noone once came to our table no drink orders nothing. Finally a kid seen us waiting asked if anyone came to us we said no he said ok she will be right here waiting another 10mins and still nobody came. We all walked out and went to outback so much better food and service there ! Dont go here horriable people work here and rude.

The East Northport location was our go to. Closing it was a BIG loss for the community. We now go to Commack. And since the renovation, it is a different place...MUCH nicer and friendly like it should be. The manager is wonderful as is her staff.
The place is so cute with the new decor. Came for lunch, there was a decent crowd of people there. The food was yummy and it came to us fast.
Sometimes you just NEED Friendlys! The cone head is a true favorite.

They closed the one in East Northport that Ive gone to since I was a kid but this one is okay too. Occasionally the service can be a hit or a miss, but theyre usually nice, and I like the food.
Havent been there in a very long time .the food was great the ice cream was great the service was fast and very nice.
Sad that most of them closed down, was always a great place to go for bite to eat with the kids or when I was a kid, still great service and a good menu and of course ice cream, although they did lose a couple of flavors over the years and apparently they sell alcohol now.

2022-03-13So I gave this review a few days after we ate there to see if it would change. My wife and I went there for Linner. We haven’t been there in quite some time and I can’t even think of a valid excuse besides the coof 🤣. Anyhow what drew us there was there new Cheese Hat Burger and previous fond memories. The place was empty for the most part but there were a few tables being occupied. It took a few minutes to be seated (we were the only ones waiting). We were finally seated and waitress was very nice and to the point with us. We asked questions/suggestions and we had answers. Shortly after we realized She was on the SOLE person running the dining room. She was the maitre’d, waitress and bussing tables at the same time. Considering her circumstances she did well with us as far as getting refills and checking up on us as we went through the courses of our meal. Due to the fact fee haven’t been there in a while as well as being hungry we well full courses. App, Main Course and Dessert.App was their sampler…amazingDinner I got their Cheese Hat Burger which was ON POINT…my wife got a regular ham burgerDessert was Jim Dandy and Brownie Dessert Platter. You can split each one for 2 but we failed to realize that when we ordered.Where things went south…not Friendly’s fault…Manager is a complete waste of space…remember the Waitress being every role inside the dinning room? Out of now here for the first time the entire time we were there…he appeared. Older gentleman…we were waiting for dessert…he came out of no where and told the waitress that 36 looks like a trash dump. Great management…you see a waitress struggling to keep up with tables due to lack of staff and you choose NOT to help. 2022-07-02Went here to get my grandpa a fribble and it was strawberry milk, I brought it back in and they remade it essentially the exact same. I will never go back to this location to pay $7+ for strawberry MIlK was not thick or creamy as a dribble should be. I am embarrassed to even bring it to my grandpa, do not recommend

2022-04-27So I have a love hate relationship with Friendlys. I enjoy the concept and atmosphere with the kids; good vibes but service can be hit or miss.This location was only satisfactory, the service was was mediocre at best and the food was so-so. The ice cream does make up for this a little as its always great.I think 3 stars is fair based on two visits. The first time was a good experience this time not so much. So I do recommend stopping by but not sure what your experience will be!

2021-07-23It was our second time at this location, we took my for his birthday. He wanted ice cream and their burgers. The place is clean, not crowded and servers are really nice. When we order desert I told the server that it was my sons birthday, he said oh!! Wait a minute he went to the back brought him some ice cream and a few other servers to gathered around and sing happy birthday to my son. I saw the look of happiness on my sons face. It was great to see this after everything we been through 🥰

2022-06-21The food took abnormally longer for two sundae and French fries. There were few customers at the time but also few waiters. However the waitress was very nice and the sundae was good. Will not be coming again.

2021-07-18I ordered from The Seaside Seafood Company on Door Dash. Turns out, I just paid from some overpriced Friendlys food. Aside from the grossly false advertising and the fact that I would never order from Friendlys due to previous terrible experiences, here was my experience today:1) Soda was missing.2) Cole Slaw was WARM and tasted spoiled.3) Salad was wilted and old and warm - Tomatoes had a sour taste.4) Lobster Roll (something I would NEVER order from a non-seafood place) was on a previously toasted yet cool hot dog bun and was luke warm instead of cool. After a few minutes and a few bites, I began to feel nauseated as if it was no good and stopped eating it.Decided to try the last thing - the Clam Chowder.5) The ONLY temperature proper item was the very thin New England Clam Chowder with about 10-15 pieces of diced canned clams, a ton of barely cooked potatoes. This soup had clearly been rushed. It was, in a word, BAD.I couldnt eat even half of the chowder or lobster roll without feeling grossed out. Its all in the garbage now. I took an antacid and a Probiotic in anticipation of a terrible ride out of my digestive tract. Straight nasty. Buyer Beware.

2022-05-03Went here with a group of guests. We all ordered different meals, drinks, and ice creams. Unfortunately, there was a mistake in all three of those categories. We had 1 wrong drink, (which really wasnt an issue), then we had one of the meals totally wrong, then we had a completely different order brought to the table which we did not order. When everything was all sorted out, the food was pretty good tho. It seemed like all the food was more rushed out of the kitchen than carefully made. Then with the ice cream, we had 2 of the orders all with the wrong toppings. Overall, food was great when it was all re-done and right, but there seemed to be a lack of understanding between customer-wait staff-chef.

2022-04-01LOVE FRIENDLYswas brought by friends and weve gone back several times. They have great ice cream and milkshakes. Good mozzarella sticks and decent food. Just a fun place for the fam or friendshighly recommend. nice staff and great memories :)

2020-12-06Im 52yrs old and I went to FRIENDLYS on my birthday,Now Im taking my grandchildren there for their birthday 🎂 How amazing is that? He had a great time,Theres not too many kid-friendly places left on Long Island
