I had the pleasure of meeting the owner a while back and we discussed his business. I stopped in tonight for a rather decent meal. I had the half rack. The meat, fantastic. The owner clearly understands bbq. The corn bread has that southern comfort feel. Something very very well received. The sides were honestly just meh but the amount of food he gives you, makes you care a bit less about that. I wouldnt say they were bad, just unusual in their flavor profile. Ill definitely be going back. ... Im all seriousness... Try the corn bread... Its great.
Changed their menu from a meal including 2 sides a drink and a cornbread to one side and nothing else. If you get the same meal with two sides now it jacks the price up outrageously and unfortunately thats the tipping point for me coming back here. Middle of the road BBQ with over cooked ribs and high prices.
I have only had good experiences with the food here. Would recommend it for local BBQ.
I was curious if this place would live up to the hype so i stopped by and ordered. While waiting for the food the owner was a pleasure to talk to and I could tell he really cared about his food. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and some mac n cheese on the side. The pork was perfect and moist and the bbq sauce was on point. The mac and cheese was also very good. This place is 100% worth the stop and not just for the great food but also the prices. I would highly recommend eating here!
Bbq and sides were excellent. Creamy salt potatoes, wonderful homemade molasses cornbread and super friendly owner all made for a wonderful visit. Lots of people get bbq right, but these guys get it ALL right, and that is special. Definitely recommend!
I got ribs potatoes and corn. It was all super tasty and cooked to perfection. The customer service was just as good. Stop in you wont be disappointed.
Best chicken riggies i ever had,spice on point,sauce excellent,next visit,foot long hot dog,with two sides,brought home more than half very filling,over all experience 5 out of 5,highly recommended

Wonderful little place. Family owned and friendly staff. We stopped in and got some ribs to go. The food was ready fast and treated fresh. It has a real homemade taste.

2021-06-06Great friendly customer service but the food is bland and overcooked. The grilled cheese was cooked great but no flavor, pulled pork was dry which explained the over abundance of sauce, the burger was a good size but overcooked and flavorless.

2021-12-30We have been there a few times now & the food is good. Owner & staff are personable. Its nice to here country music playing instead of hip hop junk. My wife likes the turkey dinner. Today I had sloppy joe over fries. 👍

2021-09-29My wife, daughter, and I went here for lunch on a whim. My wife and I both have lived across the south and Midwest where bbq is king in their respective regions. The restaurant has a Welcoming atmosphere, waitresses were very nice. Had the pulled pork fries for a starter which were very very good. I had the pulled pork, and my wife shredded beef, the meats were okay, the sides (Mac n cheese, coleslaw) were rather bland. I am willing to try the restaurant again, I heard the fish fry is phenomenal.

2021-10-02I am very sad to review this restaurant so poorly after hearing somepositive comments. I had dinner with three other people and not one of us was satisfied. Pulled pork was dry, overcooked and cold, the macaroni and cheese was nasty. Tasted like reconstituted cheese powder was used and simply poured over some pasta that was undercooked. Turkey and gravy over Texas toast was the special; turkey was deli sliced turkey. Certainly not home cooked, smoked or carved in any way.Garlic mashed potatoes under spiced and served cold. To say the least, we will not be returning.
