I hate to only give this place 3 stars but what I received today after hyping this place up to my roommates was so disappointing.My first visit, I experienced the greatest bacon and egg sandwich I’ve ever had. I believe it was the owner that made it. It was full of flavor and the bread was amazing. Today that exact sandwich was burnt and dry for both me and my roommate. It was like having a burn crouton version with very little of that amazing cajun sauce.Long story short, consistency is the name of the game.
Was so ready to make this place my local stop as its on the way to the train, and hoping it will still be open once my office reopens after this pandemic. The coffee is good, service is friendly, croissants are very fresh and generously sized, and the yogurt bowl was perfect for a quick breakfast!
This place has great food and great service and I love that they sell plants inside the location just ordered through GrubHub and it said they didn’t have an item they left me a cute little note inside the bag and added the item great coffee great food recommend!
It is a nice little spot to chill most of the time but, no plug ins for laptops and I couldn’t get over the fact that the cold brew tastes old/sour. And unprofessional baristas talking about race and racism. I got very uncomfortable.
This is my local coffee shop and I love it. Ive been going since they first opened and they hardly offered anything but coffee. They have consistently upgraded and expanded the menu. They only thing I miss is all the plants they used to sell.
Good coffee and decent menu options but they allow pets inside. Pets aka dogs in a small space where food is being cooked is not sanitary. And I love dogs...but not dog hair in my food.
Very cozy environment. Laid back (literally) they have an awesome futon lounge chair. Clean, and music not too loud, perfect volume to get some work done or do calls
Great coffee and amazingly nice people. they have a communal table for work close to the window facing street (sunlight), and sofa far back inside. Happy anniversary!
$6 for a cafe ole and they don’t even have honey? The coffee is not so great neither . Wack
Hidden gem! Quick and sumptuous bites on the go and a quaint garden in the back to wind down on the way back from work. Great spot - so conveniently close to the subways.

This place is an amazing quiet little spot on a busy street. The coffee is always delicious and good quality. The customer service is great and the pastries are delicious.
Cute place w/ good coffee. But the music is unfortunately pop/hip-hop and sort of loud. Not at all supportive of reading/laptop work...
I love the staff at furmans, and the coffee is the best you’ll find in the neighborhood. They received fake bills so stopped taking cash, which is the only thing that keeps me from going more frequently cos I’m not a credit card person.
Furmans is my favorite cafe in Crown Heights. Great food, friendly staff and a warm, hip social environment. Prices are very affordable, too, which is a big plus. Love their Avacado Toast!

2022-02-20Awesome spot. We had the avocado toast, egg sandwich with bacon and grilled cheese. All the food was freshly cooked and awesome. Staff was super friendly. Chai and Americano were great too. They don’t have decaf beans though. Highly recommend!

2019-04-06Cute quality coffee shop just off Atlantic and Nostrand. Quiet interior even with two busy streets close by. The staff are nice and conversational. You can either lounge of the couch or sit at the window+table to get some work done. WiFi compliments of the LinkNYC just outside the door so no worries about it going out.

2021-04-20Cute spot with great friendly service. I only got a coffee so I don’t have much to say about the food. They have plants for sale, which also looks nice within the cafe. I had thought there might be some distanced seating but there wasn’t. More of a grab and go spot when I went.
