I messaged Gade farms to inquire if they had a hard to find dark purple lilac. I recieved a message back the same night, great CS #1.Great CS #2, a couple days later I drove to Gades and received superior customer service from Phil in the outdoor nursery field and this was on a very very busy Saturday afternoon! IF I could give Gades more stars than 5 I would. Thank You so much Phil for your superior knowledge, friendliness and customer service. Ill definitely be back for some Pionies!!!I got it planted!!!
Huge variety in this shop thats half farmers market, half greenhouse. Super kind and knowledgeable staff thatll set you up whatever youd like. They even have succulents. Lots of fun novelty stuff too like the 6 foot tall sasquatch statue in the background of the attached photo.

I really love this place, they have a huge garden selection and generally helpful staff. Every time I go the place is packed with people, which is always a good sign. Plants always looks well kept and healthy, a bit on the expensive side but all the plants Ive ever bought from here have done exceedingly well in my garden.
I have been going here for years they have a great variety of flowers and organic vegetable plants for your garden as well as all the different types and colors of mulch. The staff are helpful as well as knowledgeable on whatever your needs are fair prices good people what more could a Customer want.
Largish selection of healthy, vibrant flowers and plants grown by the seller. Largish selection of interesting lawn/ garden ornaments. There is an extra store attached that sells fresh produce, cheeses, etc. A gardening supply section. Way better than Hewitts down the street. So glad I stopped.

Gade Farm is my go-to for homemade pies. In addition to a Raspberry Pie, and celery, today I picked up the biggest carrots, turnips & parsnips Ive ever seen! Our roast beef dinner came out perfect! (Everyone was practicing covid safety protocols.)
Great place to find flowers, plants, etc. - good quality too. I only gave 4 stars however since some of the plants that I was looking for were missing labels so I wasnt entirely sure if I was getting the correct thing... Plus the lines at the cashier were too long;the needed more workers at the registers.
Veggies are always fresh,love the warm donuts and the staff is great. Helped my grandson get shrubs for the front of his home. Always stopping to see what is new!!!
Have been coming here for flowers and local produce for over 20 years. The flowers are always gorgeous and the staff are helpful when you have questions about certain ones. Many of the fruits and veggies are from Gade or are from local areas, theyre always fresh.

This is our go to for vegetables and flowers for the garden. Staff are helpful and they have a wide variety of plants and supplies. There are normally plenty of carts so that you can pick up your plants with ease and still continue to browse.

I have been buying all of my trees, bushes and flowers here for three years. I love their assortment of organic products. There is a lovely woman who has always been such a big help in helping me find what I am looking for and sharing tips for success. Gade Farm is my go to for spring and summer gardening.

Very nice place with a lot of variety of plants, herbs, veggies, bushes, even trees. They also have a nice grocery store with fruits,veggies,honey,maple,dairy products, and I have to say the best fudge I have ever had.

We bought all our veggie plants from them. Not a happy camper. All 3 of our cherry tomato plants died as did 4 out of 6 tomato plants. All others are thriving. We have had a garden for years so we are not new at this.

Love their cider donuts. My family has gone their for our Christmas tree the last 4 years, wouldnt go anywhere else. Great locally made products too (honey, butters, meat, milk, apple cider, sauces and spices)
A fantastic experience a fantastic place with great plants and fantastic food and the staff is excellent especially I think a staff named Chelsea she has so much patience and is so helpful every time I have questions she goes out of her way to help me like no other garden place anywhere Chelsea is fantastic staff a world class establishment!!! They have the most stunning plants, beautiful fairy garden pieces. I bought an angel base for my decorative glass ball I bought there several weeks ago.

Very good garden center. The plant selection is large and the seedlings are healthy. They also have trees, shrubs, etc. People there are pretty knowledgeable. Been going for a few years.

I had boycotted this place due to what I consider to be rude staff.. its been years so I decided to give it a try,,, I had already looked at the canned goods to buy some pickled garlic, it was a gray/Brown color.. I dont believe it to be freshSo, I had seen a shrub that I liked, marked $56., I went to the cashier where a young girl was working, and a male person was leaning on the counter, I said to the girl Are your prices negotiable ?The male person growled and said LIKE WHAT.. I replied there is a shrub marked $56. Will you take $50 ? In what I consider a NASTY tone,,, he replied all is priced as marked..he not only lost a customer he also invited bad PR.I guess the days of customer service are dead

Whilst inside the store I asked for the bathroom, the grey haired female who responded was probably the rudest person I have ever met.I will never go back to this store and will tell all my family and friends about the terrible staff.
Told them my needs and a delightful young lady helped me out. Plus, they were on sale. Bonus
Great collection!! I went there for Indoor plants buy end up buying lot of flowering plant, staff is very helpful in explaining requirements needed for planting new plants at home.
All the staff are always very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I love their gift shop.Prices are a little high but I guess you get what you pay for.
Purchased Christmas tree and wreath. Nice balsam fir, fair price. Staff helpful in trimming tree and placing/strapping tree on car.
I like the selection of trees was in and out with it 10 minutes for a reasonable price $59 for the Christmas tree and the bag for the tree for disposal.

Really nice farm. Their hours open were off by 30 minutes from what was listed on Google (close at 6:30). Was a little annoying being rushed out by staff when we thought they were open till 7:00.
They have the most beautiful flowers at reasonable prices here. Staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous.
We tried to go to a local farm to get our Christmas Tree but the parking situation was a disaster so we ended up at Gades and found a great tree for a reasonable price and were in and out of there in 15 minutes.

2022-04-23The best place to get perennials. They are quick to answer my multiple, yearly calls/emails asking do you have __________ in stock yet?. I always feel kind of weird making inquiries, but the staff is responsive and friendly. Great prices compared on other local nurseries. Love this place. Go there, you will be a happy gardener.

2022-04-22I just went to Gade Farm for the first time. The greenhouse manager Amy was incredibly knowledgeable and spent a lot of time answering my questions about a variety of vegetables and flowers. I will definitely go back and would highly recommend.

2017-07-01Established in1878 the Gade farm is my favorite store!Fresh apple cider donuts made every morning.Home made Fudge- I tried the butter pecan, it was mouth watering.Pies- Very berry, cherry crumb, peach crumb, blueberry, blueberry crumble, french apple, raspberry and raspberry crumb.Two of the best selling breads are, zucchini and chocolate zucchini.Wide variety of cheeses, farm fresh eggs and even meats.Organic products and a wide variety of beautiful looking vegetables.The store is immaculate and neat as a pin.A wide variety of plants and flowers!When I go to dinner with family I always stop by and pick up a pie.The staff are helpful and happy.
