Ive had a contract with GallettAir for a few years now. They come out to check my heating and ac systems. I called yesterday because my ac was blowing out warm air. I was pleasantly surprised that a tech came to my house within an hour or two. Jarod showed up. Hes come to my home before. I find him not only very knowledgeable but very friendly. He figured out what was wrong, replaced the part and we had our ac working again fast. I recommend this company. Thank you Jarod
I have used Gallett for close to 14 years. Everyone I have dealt with has been extremely nice, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They arrive when scheduled and have been careful with rugs and cleaning up. I am very pleased with their work and would definitely recommend.
Spoke with Carmine, the owner, directly to check a system for a friend of mine who is an elderly widow because another company said it needed to be replaced at an extremely high cost. I was a little skeptical of the other company because they didn’t really give a good reason for a replacement. Carmine went out of his way to get to her house the next business day and made a minor repair which was all the unit needed saving this woman several thousand dollars. There is absolutely no other company I would ever deal with or recommend. A+++
Had Jeff from Gallett Air at our house a couple of days ago for service on our central ac system that wasnt working properly. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem and also gave me some unsolicited advice on maintaining the system and keeping it running efficiently. Great experience with this company!

Call to their after hours answering service - did not result in a prompt call back the next business day - that was disappointing. Calling back myself, during business hours did produce a service appointment within 3 days. Central air problem expertly diagnosed within a reasonable time frame - parts were available on the truck. Sticker shock on part costs - but am still overall happy with the service. I would use them again - should the need arise.
Carmine Galletta (The Owner) personally came when we had an issue with our Central Air Unit. The issue was diagnosed and repaired. He then noticed another issue with our Heating. He again, fixed this on the spot! We highly recommend GallettAir!

I have always had a fantastic experience using GallettAir however; today I need to recognize the incredible service I received from the technicians Carmine and his Jr. tech Brian M. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! They were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, helpful and went above and beyond to help problem solve and resolve a concern I had been having with my AC system and monthly bill. They took extra time to educate me on how to use my system efficiently and check my compressor. They left me with a summary of their findings in writing and an envelope to store all of my current and future reports. I was beyond appreciative for all they did today during my service call and I will definitely be requesting them again for my fall maintenance check!
John and his crew were punctual, efficient, and absolute professionals. We have dogs (4 of them, two big, and 2 tiny, yappy ones) and each crew member of Johns were totally mindful of the doors being open, and the fence being closed so the dogs didnt get out. They were great, on the fly, problem solvers and kept their work neat and efficient. Everything was completed to the upmost of our expectations. Our family couldnt be happier with the workmanship, as well as the product. We couldnt recommend them more.
I had to have my hvac system completely replaced ( the old system was thirty years old) I tried to have another company repair it, they didnt and it cost me $300.00 I called up Gallet air, and honestly from the girls in the office to the crew who installed my new system (John,Ozzy,and Ryan) They were neat,courteous, and professional!!! The new system is freaking amazing!! Btw they are LGBT friendly.!!! HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND🌈🌈💜💜💜💯❣️
Today outside of GallettAir, right at their sidewalk, I got a flat tire. Matt who works there saved me!! He was super helpful and got me on my way!! I just called to ask for an A/C Installation estimate - a $15,000 job - the lady told me they are booked until September for estimates. They must be a great company however I wouldnt wait 8 weeks just to get an estimate. I called 4 other A/C Installation companies and every one of them came within a week. If Gallett Air is too busy for my estimate, I wonder when they become too busy for my service. I wouldnt use them. Find somebody who is hungry for your business. Its obvious they arent. Just my opinion. I see he responded that he is too busy - God Bless Him! Excuses excuses excuses for 38 years apparently. Instead of trying to resolve it, he blows it off. Good luck to anyone who uses him. I still wouldnt use his company! And I plan on constantly writing reviews that he can make excuses for answering. If you are booked for estimates, why are you advertising this week then for free estimates? Not good business. Keep making excuses though.
7/1/2022 UPDATE***I had the pleasure of meeting Carmine and Brian during my HVAC maintenance visit this week. Exceptional customer service has always been my experience with Galletair and the best part is Carmine took the time to show me the issue and explain how they resolved it which i appreciate because I learn more every visit. Across the board the entire team @ Galletair are hands down THE BEST! THANK YOU for being so kind, knowledgeable and efficient every visit.Galletair is an amazing service company! My AC unit was leaking....of course during peak season yikes! Not only was I able to get a service appt in a couple days, Matt was able to diagnose the problem and get my system back in order very quickly. I’ve been using Galletair for my HVAC maintenance and repair for 4 years and I’m always pleased with the communication and service from all staff. Last year, my hot water heater sprung a major leak in my utility closet. When I called I was extremely rattled and the nice receptionist calmed me down and put me in for an emergency appt for the next day. The service man capped and drained the tank to stop the leak, put me on the list for hot water heater replacement and by the end of the next day, I had a brand new unit installed. No mess, no hassle.....just great service!
We had purchased a home in the fall of 2020 and had some issues with the central air prior to move-in. With a lack of knowledge and experience on my part, and based on a prior history of great service that a family member received, I gave GallettAir a call and had an appointment set up quickly. Upon a quick investigation, we learned that our HVAC system was good to go and that our too-thick filter was to blame. That quick, professional, and friendly consultation with Matt sold us on setting up a contract once the moving dust settled. Fast forward a few months later, and our latest system check with Matt went well, with service being just as professional and friendly as our first interaction was, and me now being given additional knowledge of how our system works and what to keep an eye on in the future. I have been a customer of GallettAir for close to 20 years. They have provided unparalleled service that I depend on. They installed & maintained my heat pump for 18 years. I have now replaced that unit by them after they responded immediately to a loss of heat. Their service techs & support staff are outstanding.. They installed my water heater that has been perfectly dependable. I would never consider any other company as they have provided proven service through the years. Don’t hesitate to contact them. GallettAir made what other companies said was impossible…possible! Central Air/Heat pump in a cape. Just had it installed yesterday and couldn’t be happier so far. GallettAir installed my central air conditioning years ago. They did an amazing job from start to completion. Carmine and Matt take the time to explain everything in detail and the entire crew is very friendly and professional. The unit has always run great. Fast forward 6 years later, I had an issue due to my own neglect of proper maintenance. Matt came to service the unit within 24 hours. He fixed the problem immediately. After over 2 years, I finally found a company who was able to assist us with the heating issue in our house. I had a service call yesterday, and the technician and I both thought the issue was fixed. However, later in the evening, I noticed the same issue happening again. I reached out to Gallet Air this morning, and by noon, I had 3 technicians (including the owner himself) back at the house. They worked diligently for almost 3 hours (at no extra cost) to ensure that my issue was resolved, and the heating system was not only functioning to my standards, but more importantly, to their standards as well. I never experienced this level of service and excellence from any of the numerous other companies that Ive dealt with over the past 2 years. Thank you to Carmine, Jeff, and John. Needless to say, you now have a lifetime customer after this experience.
Gallet Air installed a Central Air/Heat Pump system in our house and did a fantastic job. The price was great, the product is top of the line, and the office/managers were on top of their game throughout the process. The installers were more than fantastic! They worked cleanly, efficiently, and gave us status updates throughout the day. What I appreciated the most was when the installation hit a snag, Carmine, the owner, ensured to get his electrician down quickly to fix the issue and complete the one-day install. 100% I would recommend Gallet Air!

I have used them for my central AC for many years. Carmine and his jr tech came today to reboot my system after it was shut down by a different team yesterday for icing up. Carmine spent over an hour cleaning the compressor unit, moving the unit because it was to close to my home and not ventilating enough, cleaning the outside of the metal housing the compressor. When he was done the unit was running smoothly. I suggested I should buy another unit. He disagreed and suggested I wait because he felt the unit was still good. I tried tipping him for going way beyond what I expected. He thanked me but refused the offer. He said this is his job and loves doing it and my saying thanks was enough. Would not call any other company for my AC needs.

I needed a service call for an air conditioner leaking through my ceiling. I called at 8 AM and spoke to Carmine. I have never used this company before but you would never know that., Mine was polite, professional, and made me feel like I was already a customer. Carmine and John arrived at my house two hours after that initial phone call. They immediately knew the problem, fix the problem. They were clean friendly and extremely professional. I give them the highest rating and totally recommend this company. Great job!

We called because we have a newborn and the air wasn’t working. Matt showed up, honestly the kindest man I’ve met in a while. He told me to just relax and continue feeding the baby he would take care of everything! In less than 5 minutes he was done, wore his mask, and was just incredible! I called GalletAir initially to have my HVAC unit looked at as it was leaking water into the drip tray. They were quick and diagnosed the problem right away for a fair price. Admittedly I was upset as a week later my AC unit stopped cooling altogether. The owner, Carmine, came by and looked at the unit. Turned out the capacitor wires burned off due to recent outages in the area along with a few other issues. Although it was caused due to a different issue compared to the HVAC system, Carmine was kind to waive the service fee as well as the cost for the replacement parts. Not often have I come across businesses that pride themselves on their reputation and workmanship and taking care of their community. I would certainly use them again. You won’t be disappointed.
I had an issue with my furnace, after hours last nigh. I called GallettAir and they were awesome! The service rep Brian contacted me directly and showed up when he said he was going to. He was courteous, friendly and kind. He was honest and extremely helpful. Thankfully my issue was not major and he had us up and running in no time at all! I highly recommend GallettAir and I have just found a reliable company to assist me with my heat/AC needs!
*Update* A/C installation went so well last year we decided to go with GalletAir for our new heating system. Tom and crew did a great job and the system went in one day. One of the main reasons I went with GalletAir a second time has been the quality of service from the folks I have dealt with so far. From techs to phone personnel to mgrs. (Paul and Mike) - everyone has been helpful, professional and courteous.From 2019 - GalletAir just installed central air in our home and did a terrific job from proposal to completion. Rich and crew did a neat and clean installation that was done in just one day. From the meticulous placement of ducts to the situation of all components it was apparent that a quality job was done overall. Rich and crew were also attentive to any concerns/questions that surfaced during the job.. Although we are likely a month or so from sweltering summer weather I have every confidence this system will fire up and perform as expected when the heat ultimately rolls in.

Our central air went out on a Sunday evening. We reached out to a few service companies many of which did not respond. GallettAir called back first thing Monday morning and promised to have someone there that same day. Carmine, the owner came and within no time had our 25+ year old system up and running. Thought for sure there was no saving her! What a pleasant surprise. Not only did he and his team fix the issue, they made additional repairs to wiring to ensure there would be no other issues. Time for a new system is near, an expense not wanted, but one that GallettAir will be called. Knowledgeable, reasonable, true masters of their trade. Highly recommend!
My husband and I recently purchased a home with a youthful 5 year old heating system- score! However, we have had problems for the month we have been here. Gallette Air came to our home to help us troubleshoot in one way or another. Matt and Bob in particular, were so very friendly, professional, and helpful. As it turns out, the wiring of our up and downstairs thermostats were reversed. Bob quickly switched the wires back for us, and hopefully we wont have to see anyone again until it is time to service our AC.I need to stress how helpful everyone at this company has been, at every step of the way. The people in the office hearing our concerns, setting our appointments, and the ones doing the physical labor, were all so helpful and professional. Called them in an emergency, on a Sunday - water was coming down the walls from my attic. Within only a few hours, a very polite man named Mike was at my door. He described the problem and the exact steps needed to fix it. Service was fast and efficient. I will be purchasing a service contract with them. Excellent service!So, I need to update my original review. Since that emergency visit, GallettAir has returned on three more occasions...needless to say, I have not had working air conditioning for almost three weeks. A week after my initial visit, the air conditioning stopped working completely. On the third visit, I was told that my pan was cracked and that they could order the parts (why the crack wasnt noticed on the first two visits is beyond me). I was told it would take approximately 3 days for the new pan to arrive, but I could not schedule an appointment until it was received. It took a week for the new pan to come in, but due to my schedule, I could not schedule an appointment until three days later. So, today was the day, and after they arrived to do the job, they noticed that the wrong pan was received, and they could not complete the job today. They had three days to make sure that they received the correct pan before showing up for the appointment! Now, they have to reorder the part, and I have to miss yet another day of work (day 4) to wait during a 5 hour block of time. Tom, the repairman, felt really bad, and I do want to recognize his professionalism. The entire experience, however, has been a nightmare.Hopefully my final addendum to this review. Carmine and his team came through for me. Despite my disappointment this afternoon, another crew came back (Tom is amazing) tonight and resolved the issue. My air conditioner is humming for the first time in weeks. I am looking forward to a comfortable nights sleep. Customer service is clearly important to this company, and you will not be disappointed by their service.
My AC system was 22 years old and failed end of last season. Wife is working from home, decided to get quotes. GalletAir was the company my wife and I decided to use. So glad we did, from Carmine, Mike, Richie, Brian and Emilio, they were all professional, courteous and clean.Carmine is the owner and also did my quote, he spent time explaining everything and giving us different options.In this crazy time we find ourselves living in right now, all the men wore face masks and gloves. My family felt totally at ease with them working, even my 3 dogs welcomed them. They showed up when they said and finished entire job before they left. I highly recommend using GallettAir.
I just had my a/c repaired by Gallett, my technician was Matt. He was very courteous and professional. it turns out that my system froze because the vents were left open by another company that cleaned the ducts. also, Matt discovered that I was a pound low on gas. He opened all the vents, checked the drain line, and added gas, the system is running perfectly now. I cant say enough about the quality of Matt;s work. as for Gallett, I have used them for several years, and have never been disappointed.

We had an emergency with our heat on the first really cold day so far . We called Galletta Air on a referral from friend and they were at my house within 24 hours as promised . Carmine ( the owner) happened to be the person who came and was so kind and helpful - fixed the problem quickly and fairly . We were so impressed with this company and were so relieved the problem was solved . I can highly recommend Galletta Air for any reason you might need them . We called GallettAir this morning when our AC wasnt working. Within a few hours Matt came to our rescue. He was so knowledgeable, so friendly and extremely efficient. He explained everything he was doing and everything we would need to do in the future! I cant believe he made himself available so quickly. Honestly I cant say enough good things about this company. We found them 3 years ago when our Ductless a/c was not working correctly. They sent someone out, he was on time, kept my home clean and did a great job for an extremely fair price. Fast forward. Again having an issue with my ductless. Called in Feb (it does heat too) wanted it serviced for the coming a/c season. Scheduled 5/1/20 unfortunately it was a cold day and the compressor wouldnt kick. Wouldnt charge me for the call. Came back 5/21 again gentleman was prompt, clean and with the current Covid 19 wore a mask. Checked out the system and found I had almost zero coolant. Need to have a pressure test done by another tech. Today they came. Running late but I received 2 calls informing me. Carmine came and once again we are so impressed with the service. We did have leaks and did his service and said if this didnt handle it which he was 98% confident they would come back and issue us a full credit for today. Again beyond fair with their pricing. I would absolutely only call them if I should need them in the future. Which I am sure I will. A/c units have to be serviced.

This is the MOST amazing company - and it clearly starts at the top with its owner Carmine Galletta. I have been a homeowner for 28 years and have never written a review, but the incredible professionalism, technical skill and customer service GallettAir has extended to me and my husband warranted that I take the time to share my experience with this company. I bought a new house six years ago and purchased a service contract with them. In these 6 years GallettAir has always promptly scheduled appointments, provided courteous technicians and repaired my air conditioner without inventing upcharges to the service contract. I have always been satisfied. But eventually one of my air conditioner systems needed to be retired and I purchased a new system through them. After approximately a year I started experiencing some issues with the system and GallettAir immediately took action to find a solution and succeeded! I was quite impressed when one evening the owner having heard I was having repeated problems came to my house on a Friday night to assist the technician and promised me that he was a man of his word - even if it means replacing the entire system. I stand behind my word and my companys reputation. Started using Gallett Air after noticing my neighbor has been using them for years , so I asked and he highly recommended them for emergency services and to consider annual service contract. I did so as recommended. I am glad. I needed their service and was given an appointment for the next morning. The gentleman who came were clean and professional. Thinking of customer safety both wore PPE respecting my family’s health and booties to protect my floors. My system needed a new circuit board. They looked for a replacement in their vehicle tried a universal board but when it didn’t function properly they had a factory replacement bought over while they remained to get my heat up and running. As a contractor myself they showed me that they care about their customers. Btw there was a young man learning the trade and he was very polite and he is representing them well thank you gallett air
We consistently have a good experience with this company. Today, our technicians were Matt and Angelo, who were both very professional and courteous. They also got the job done quickly and took proper COVID-19 precautions. Matt specifically has been our technician quite a few times, and whenever there has been an issue or something to look out for, he always explains it in a way that is thorough yet easy to understand, which we really appreciate.
I woke up in a freezing cold house. My dogs were whining. Our heat mysteriously stopped working in the middle of the night and with some of the coldest days weve had in a while approaching I was in a panic. I called GallettAirs main office and they put us through as an emergency call. Matt was really great talking me through how to check things on my end as not to cost us since we have an A/C & Heating contract with them. It turned out I was not able to resolve our problem on my own and Matt came over right away. He was in and out and our heat was back on in no time. What a great servicing company. Local and efficient!
We just moved in to our new home and needed a check up on our central a/c. I google HVAC companies in the area, GallettAir was the top company with high reviews. I was not disappointed with choosing them. The tech Matt was very friendly and answered any questions I had. I decided to sign up for a service contract , service call, parts and labor are included you can’t wrong with that. Even if nothing goes wrong , I like having peace of mind that I am covered if something break during the summer.
We moved into our new house a few months ago. After living with central air for almost 7 years, we knew we wanted it for our new place (it already had radiator heating so it would just be A/C). We got about 6 quotes and decided on GallettAir based on reputation and their ideas on how to cool our house. They were able to schedule the install within 3 weeks. I was very impressed and pleased from start to finish. They came with a team of guys (about 8-10). All were very professional and very clean. All were also full-time employees and not day laborers that are hired when needed. They covered my hardwood floors for protection, went the extra mile in dealing with my not ideal house layout, were able to utilize my existing Nest thermostats, and met all of my requirements. The job was quoted to be 1.5 days and they were able to finish in one. They stayed in constant communication with me throughout the day and discussed all options I had available to me in each room. I will absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Setting up the appointment was a pleasant experience. Their phone was answered professionally and in a timely manner. All information that was given over the phone was used in conjunction with their field techs in trying to diagnose the problem. The field techs arrived within the time window that we were given. Mike and John arrived with a smile on their faces, were very polite and respectful. Even asked permission to enter our home, ( How many times did you have service people enter your home like they owned it?.....just food for thought). After purchasing a condo recently, I asked some of the other condo owners who they used for their tune ups and service for their heating plant/air conditioners. A few mentioned GallettAir. I called them and the secretary set up a tune up service for me. I felt the fee was very reasonable.Fast forward a few months to the summer and one day my downstairs air conditioner does not come on during a very hot day. Even though we did not have a contract, we called up GallettAir and a technician showed up the same day. I believe his name was Matt and he was the owners son. So, he goes into our heating plant/air conditioner utility room in the garage and the air conditioner suddenly comes on. Mike calls me in and says somehow your switch got turned off and asked was anything done recently in the utility room. I told him we recently had a central vacuum system replaced and a garage outlet added in that room. From the position where the vacuum hose would be hooked up, he showed me that the way the hose left the utility room, it was very likely that it would hit the switch. Sure enough, we had used the vacuum garage outlet the day before. We now know to check the switch after using the vacuum. I asked Mike what we owed him for his time to come here, etc. He said no charge even though we do not currently have a service contract. He was very polite and could have charged me but did not. How incredible is that in this day and age? I asked him to have his office send us the particulars to get a service contract. They sent over a HVAC service contract which I signed up for. The rate was considerably lower then the Home Serve contract that I had in my previous home for the same 2 zone services. What a pleasant experience. Highly recommended.
5 star experience from start to finish!! I called with a central air problem. The office was upfront about their pricing. Dispatch updated me with the Techs ETA just like they said they would. This was important to me because I had to leave work to meet them at my house. Then Matt and Jared showed up on time and ready to get the job done. These guys were true professionals. I had originally found GallettAir on Angies List for an air conditioning problem in 2013 and felt comfortable calling again for service.This time, my heating unit started to act up over the weekend and I called for service on one of worst (coldest) days you could imagine. On February 16, my house temperature had dropped to 56 degrees. The customer service rep, Joanne, actually tried to assist me with a trouble-shoot on the phone before sending a technician to my house. Although it didnt work, I appreciated her honesty and willingness to help. She informed me that because of the volume of calls today, she could not ensure a time for service.Technician Matt arrived in just a few hours and determined the problem in just a few minutes. He was very nice and honest. Instead of charging me for the emergency service, he absorbed the fee into a service contract, which was a great deal. I can tell that this company really cares about public opinion, and can vouch that they stand behind honest business practices. I highly recommend GallettAir, Inc.!

No sooner than 10 minutes after that call Mike followed up and put us in line for an appointment the following day.OK, so their phone management is somewhat accurate. After so many years in the building management field, I wasnt really expecting the best service on a holiday weekend.The next day I received a delightful call from Tiffany while having my morning coffee. She assured me, though they were very busy a technician would be by before the days end.Sure enough, when I sat down for lunch, I got the call. I was told 30 to 40 minutes for the arrival and they were spot on.The issue was resolved in an hour from precise and knowledgeable diagnostics with the utmost courtesy.Friendly, smart and reasonable pricing...Thats just good business.

It’s rare these days to find a company that really cares about what they do and considers the customer in the overall equation. My first exposure to GalletAir was several years ago when we needed a new heating system. They came up with a viable solution that was cost effective and maximized the use of existing equipment. Emailed for service at 930pm , the owner carmine called me at 945pm to help try to get my A/C started. carmine spent 2 hours trying to diagnose the issue over the phonw. although we couldnt get it started we were able to find the issue. carmine sent his manager paulie the very next day and didnt even charge me the service call fee. Paulie spent 15 minutes replacing my contact block and had my A/C running right after. unbelieveable service. its rare to find professionals at this level. DONT GO ANY WHERE ELSE! THEY ARE THE BEST!

We bought a new home and needed our air ducts cleaned. We requested a quote and when the guys came to do the work, it turned out that our system was set up very unconventionally and it would actually cost more than what we were initially quoted. After speaking to the manager, and explaining that we had waited 2 months for this cleaning - they honored our original quote and did the job. Turns out that the air ducts in this house have never been cleaned. It was one of the worst cases they have ever seen. I couldnt believe the before and after photos. Im glad we waited for them as long as we did.

The A/C on our 2nd floor was not working and we feared the worst....we would need to replace the central air unit. . I came home from work during the horrible heat wave a couple weeks ago and my central AC was not working the temp in my house was over 90 degrees!! I was beyond crazed at this point due to the heat and the late hour I am thinking I have to try and sleep in this sauna of a house well not the case I contacted the owner Carmine and he came out to my house at 9:00 that night to take a look at my system. It turned out it was a factory recall on a part he returned with the part fixed my central AC and my home was cool in no time. Ive had a contract with GallettAir for 3 yrs. Servicemen are always prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. Never needed more than seasonal service until day after Thanksgiving. Woke up to no heat and no hot water! Carmine arrived about an hour after my call. He accurately assessed the situation and determined I needed a part that was no where to be found. I was frantic, expecting cold weather. He got me space heaters to hold me over and promised not to give up searching. Saturday morning he called and found the part in Medford which is far from where I live. He drove out there and returned and installed the part; keeping me informed all the time. GalletAir came this morning to clean my Air Ducts. Mike and Mike were very cautious, clean, and aware. I wanted to thank Carmine and Mike for their absolute sincere honesty and integrity that you just dont find anymore. Long story short is I had my central AC installed 12 years ago. I was never able to get the house below 80 on a hot day. most times i just shut it off and used window unitsThe original contractor came a few times and ran away. Everyone after them who came to service it, gased it up, sometimes more than 3 times a year told me the system was undersized and needed to be replaced.I was told there was nothing I can do to get cold air. The system was just too small.I got 3 estimates in the last month all of about $13,500 to replace my 2 zones. i was worn out and ready to sign when my brother called and told me to try Galletair. he said he has been using them for years and they always been great.so i called for an estimate to replace the 2 units. Mike came took one look at the equipment, measured the temperature at the ducts and told me theres nothing wrong with my system other than a needing a Freon pressurization adjustmentI was skeptical but figured i had nothing to lose. So as Mike startedre pressuring the system the house got magically cold. he told me to run the system overnight so it will stabilize and someone would be by in the morning to finish it up.Carmine came and finished the pressurizing and the house was 72 within a few minutes and the vents were blowing strong like they never did before.turns out, JB Cool the bums who installed he system over charged it and the rest of the knucklehead service guys just kept adding more and more Freon making it worse and worse to the point where the system was not even turning on.Mike and Carmine could have easily sold me a new system. i had the deposit check in my pocket. They chose to do the right thing and be honestand even better they didnt charge me a dime for their time.you cant beat that. Excellent and honest company. I placed a call for a replacement estimate of my problematic CAC system. The technician reviewed the current state of the system, including the duct-work in the extremely hot attic. He could have easily sold me a whole new system; but the technician advised that although not setup optimally, it should work sufficiently for our needs. He then quickly determined the root cause of the issue, recommended a solution and had it working great within an hour. The Gellet team did a complete install in my house on May 1st, 2020. These guys are hand picked professionals. The entire team knew exactly what to do as soon as they walked in. The team installed a new Central A/C with new ductwork including supply in every room in a house that’s almost 70 years old and never had Central A/C. All done in about 7 hours. I was absolutely blown away by how clean and professional the job came out. They deliver exactly what they say. First time I didn’t have to clean up after the contractor, they left my place immaculate. They also had on masks and personal protective gear due to COVID-19 to keep everyone safe. Awesome company!!!
After having two bad experiences with other companies that said I needed a new AC unit. I had the pleasure of getting GallettAirs phone number from a friend at our grandsons baseball game. They are also having work done by Gallette. After explaining the situation to Carmine, he was not convinced that I needed a new unit until he had a chance to look at the work that was done. Carmine himself came and looked over the unit, and found a number of things that were done wrong by the other techs. My AC is now running fine and for just a fraction of the money the others wanted to charge. My central air had stopped running. I called after hours and received a prompt call back. The technician on the phone walked me through troubleshooting my system and determined in was a blower motor.Mike arrived the next morning and had me back up and running the same day. We have an 18 year old Carrier a/c system; although it started up this year, it stopped functioning after several weeks. For our third estimate on a new system, we contacted GallettAir. Owner Carmine arrived on time, and checked out attic duct work (no other company had done this). After the inspection, he asked what was wrong with the system; Carmine checked out things outside and found a blown capacitor- and only charged us $30 for the part. He did not charge for a service call since he was coming for an estimate anyway. He also told us our system should last another 5 years! Professional and honest- we felt he had our best interests in mind. We will be certain to use this company in the future.
My central air conditioning unit was icing up. I changed the filter and still had the same problem. I called called GallettAir on a Tuesday evening. I received a call back from Mike a little while later. He told me someone would call the next morning to schedule my appointment. The next morning I received a call and scheduled an appointment for that day. Later that day Mark came to my house to service my air conditioner. He asked me some questions and went right to work. He checked the outside unit to see that it was working properly. He then cleaned the accumulated dust that had built up inside the machine. He told me that the only problem was the dirt clogging the cooling fins. I was greatly relieved. I know very little about air conditioners and was worried all night about what the trouble was. Unlike buying clothes or some other item in a store, in a situation like this you do not know what it is you actually need. I was worried about being treated fairly. I definitely was. Mark did not try to sell me parts or services I did not need. As a fifty year plus resident of West Babylon I am proud that this company is headquartered in my town. I heartily reccomend them to anyone on Long Island. There are many good and honorable people in this world and the people at GallettAir are among them. Thank you for your help.

I recently had an issue with my furnace. The blower was not working. Fortunately, I have a contract with Gallett. I place a call and they said they would be there sometime today (ugh, this was a Saturday). They arrived within 2 hours ( I thought Id be waiting all day). The serviceman, Matt, informed me that the blower needed to be replaced and if not under warranty, would be very expensive. He did not have the part on the truck but said he would check with someone in the office. He went on to his next call but promise he would get back to me within the hour....he did. The person in the office informed him that the part was not in inventory. He said that he was going back to the office to check himself (he was skeptical). Well...he found the part and came back to my home to install it the same day!. This Matt went above and beyond in my opinion. He also confirmed that the part is covered under warranty. I just recently moved to Long Island I bought a cape style home. I was told by so many people central AC is virtually impossible in a cape style home. Well not for GallettAir and his staff. They are miracle workers and just awesome at what they do. I am happy to say I currently have central ac in my home and I am sooo delighted. My experience from my first phone call to arrange an appointment for a quote to the very last installer leaving my home on installation day was an absolute pleasure. I was very anxious and nervous having a new home and that it would be turned upside down during installation. I received a follow up phone call from Carmine to make sure I was happy and boy am I ever!!! Mike came out to walk me thru the system and answered any questions I had. I could go on and on but the bottom line is if you own a cape style home or any home and want central AC GallettAir is your man!!! I have since recommended GallettAir to my mom and sister . Cannot say enough good things!!! My air conditioner conked out in the heatwave. I called first thing in the morning and in a couple of hours, Carmine the owner was at my home! Fair, fast, reliable, honest and amazing work!!!! Definitely call them!!!
Absolutely Fantastic. Imagine you come home and your AC is not working in the most unbearable temperatures outside. I call GallettAir at 7:15 pm, receive a return call within 30 minutes and they tell me a man will be dispatched the same night. Cant promise me how long but considering we are in the middle of an almost 100 degree heatwave, just the fact that they were going to take care of the problem I was thrilled. About an hour later I get a call from the technician and he tells me he will be at my location in 20 minutes. By 9:30 the AC was running and the house was cool again. Now I know why I chose this company to do my original installation. Thank you GallateAir and your fine company.
This company is very professional. They installed my new hot water heater with in 1 hour. (Removed the old one as well) Had the system up and running with in about 2 hours after it was installed. Normal time for hot water to fill up on a 40 Gallon Hot water heater. Thing has been working great ever since. The temperature I lowered to low since normal was way hot. But its propane so that is kind of expected. An excellent company with great staff that are patient.
These guys are super nice and helpful! The heat in my house shut down in a Saturday evening when it was 30 degree outside. I called, and got a tip (for free) from Matt that put the heat system back to work in half an hour!
Matt (the owners son) was promptly at our house at the time expected, clearly explained the issues our A/C was having, and immediately restored our unit.Matt also explained our different upgrade options - without a hard sell. Mike, an Air Conditioner Tech just left my house after getting the A/C up and running. I was not looking forward to being without A/C this weekend.He came in and begin trouble shooting, discovered the problem and fixed it.He definitely knows what he is doing and is very personable as well.Without question, I will be requesting him any time I have A/C problems in the future.
Central A/C stopped blowing cold. Called a company that told me it would be 14k to replace the entire system as it was 1/2 empty and not worth it to repair it. I called GallettAir and They came to look and I was only down a pound or two of freon, just enough to make the system not work. Under 700 dollars later, system back up and running. Very professional, honest, and trustworthy. Would recommend to anyone! A++

Paul Mazzeo and his crew were a pleasure from start to finish! I recently had an air conditioning problem that needed to be addressed. I immediately thought of the tv ads and local magazine ads for GallettAir. Never thought of Angies. I called and was scheduled for the very next day. Matt, as I soon learned was the son of the owner, visited the house, went right up into the very hot attic, appraised the situation and came down and gave me his appraisal. While I awaited his return, like an expectant Dad, he told me he found the problem, fixed it, and was ready to leave. The drip pan was not pitched correctly! He suggested that I schedule an appointment to evaluate the pan which I did. In a couple of days, Carmine, the owner, came and checked out the pan. He assured me that the pan would be fine. I was so relieved. I will spread the word about GallettAir for their honesty, courtesy and knowledge of the air systems. Top rated with me, wish I could give 10 stars !!!!

GallettAir serviced my heating/AC system. The office staff and technicians are to be commended for their professionalism, thoroughness and concern for doing the job correctly and completely. These characteristics have become quite rare in 2018 business.
We recently bought a house and have determined that the cost and efficiency of the HVAC system is not what it needs to be. We have selected GallettAir to upgrade our system. GallettAir suggested that we take advantage of a free/reduced price energy audit of our home through a program run by the state of NY (NYSERDA). GallettAir came in last week and conducted the audit. They did a great job. We found many places where lack of proper insulation is significantly reducing the efficiency of our HVAC system, costing us money and causing the house to be uncomfortable. Most of these areas require easy fixes. If we had not conducted this audit we would never have known about these problems. We could not be happier with the results of the program and the professionalism and friendliness of the GallettAir team who planned and conducted the audit.
Our A/C stopped late last night. We called for service and Matt came out today and, after returning to the office to get a new part, changed our thermostat and the board with which it communicates in the 100+° attic. Basically, he performed a very brilliant brain transplant under very difficult conditions. Matts a great guy, always thorough, and always knowledgeable, and always pleasant. Thanks Matt.
Carmine, our tech was personable and knowledgeable. Within hours of calling about a central air conditioner leaking water, he was on top of the situation in minutes. A half hour later, everything was buttoned up and he was on his way. All service calls should be like this.
Started to panic when the central air started dumping water all over the floor in the middle of a heat wave with a 7 month old baby in the house. The gentlemen at GallettAir were super kind and super accommodating. Carmine and Paul were amazing and helped us even if the issue was as simple as plugging our pump back in. Great company ! Came when they said they would. Had an AC unit that wasn’t turning on. It was a stupid problem that I overlooked on my end. They came addressed and didn’t even charge me. What a wonderful company. Will definitely use them in the future, and probably get a service contract too.

I needed a 40 gallon Gas hot water heater I was given a estimate that was $525 higher for the same model that I was given from another company..I went with the other place and was very happy.

I had a possible gas leak from the burner unit. The two GallettAir techs Matt and Angelo were professional and thorough with their inspection.
Paid nearly $400 in April to get my Central AC checked. Worked one time after. Now I know its an old unit but I think it should be under warranty enough so I dont have to pay another service call to be told its not worth fixing.

A family company that treats you like family. After hurricane Sandy destroyed my a/c unit outside (among other things) they were the first of any contractor to be here and complete the job. I have a new HVAC system that is efficient and economical.
Our AC was leaking water all over the basement floor, cue a panic attack from my mother. We called and they came at about 9pm.Assessed the situation immediately, the pump was just unplugged. Crisis averted. They were very nice to us about such a minor thing. Also brought those little pocket fans, ones that are really strong.

Very honest ... they came to my house to look at my central AC ... unfortunately it’s an old unit that is tired ... technicians checked the system and gave my wife some useful tips to get by for awhile at no charge ... I will definitely be calling this company when it’s time to upgrade

2022-05-30These guys are great. We called in a service call today Monday memorial Day 2022. We got a call back right away and within less than 2 hours the technician named Brian who was great came to our house on Lawrence Lane in Bay Shore and quickly resolve the issue. Weve been dealing with this company for roughly 30 years always had a service contract with them because they have been nothing but great to us. Thanks guys hopefully we wont need to use you again anytime soon.

2022-02-14Had the Team at GallettAir install a heat pump system this week. GallettAir was very professional and knowledgeable from my first phone call to the office to when they finished.They recommended a new heat pump and programmable thermostat to get maximum efficiency from the system.Brian and his crew covered all my flooring and work areas before work started. My house was cleaner than before they started.Thank you to the GallettAir Team for keeping us warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

2022-05-27My Mom had full central air conditioning installed throughout her home this past week and “wow” what a job. It was a long day to say the least, but I have to say-the team that came to the house to do the work, led by Brian and John were all fantastic. Even when we hit some unforeseen and stressful moments early on of realizing we had to clean out part of the attic and some closets, the guys jumped right in to help and made it as calm as possible. Thanks Ozzy, John and Brian for the help there! The team got the job done and the house feels incredible. The next day we realized one of the rooms wasn’t as cool as the others so we placed a call back and both Brian and John came back with their crew and made it right. Brian definitely jumped in to help correct and reposition one of the coils in the hallway closet as well as find a solution to the one room and now it’s great. All in all it was a huge job, but the guys were efficient and answered all of our questions. We are really glad we got this done and are living much comfortably now. Would definitely recommend this company as they seem to do right by their customers and get it done with an all hands on deck approach. Looking forward to a cool and comfortable summer!

2022-01-28Call person, Mary, was courteous, listened to my issue and scheduled an appointment that was convenient for us. The tech, Mike, arrived early in the appointment window we were given. He too was courteous and very professional. He solved the problem quickly and had our heating system working as it is supposed to (a system installed only two years ago by another company). Were grateful for Gallett Air and they will have all our heating and AC business going forward!

2022-06-10Thank you Carmine, Mike , John and team for our new central AC unit and update. We replaced a 20+ year old rotted and rusted AC unit and had some attic upgrades installed as well. We moved 10 minutes away last year and bought a house in a great area but needs upgrades as the prior owners were in their 70s. We were lucky to get a year + out of the old central air unit. Rusted, coils rotted a disaster and inefficient. These guys were great from start,. John was very helpful and made some suggestions along with install. Our house now has state of the art, brand new unit and we need sweatshirts. The old unit broke apart in the driveway. Dont fool around--- pricing is reasonable. I am sure if you dig you could get a better price, but its the service and future service that is important. thanks again team--- we will be nice and cool this summer..

2022-04-19Great experience all around. From start to finish. Guided me through my options and what would work best for my house. They installed 3 ductless a/c units. Guys were very nice, they covered all floors and cleaned up very well when they were done. Took the time to go over everything with me and answer all my questions. Very clean and neat installation.

2022-01-26So I never leave reviews but I promised the workers from Galetta air I would. They were awesome ! They came 1 hour early in the beginning of January . They changed my nest back to my regular thermostat in 10 minutes and didn’t even charge me. It’s so nice that you can trust a company and even nicer to see their kindness and empathy. Thanks guys.
