Only been to the one in Eastview before. This one is still good. Prices are fair. Not crazy cheap or over priced. If you have a question, just ask. The guy that was working when I bought a controller was quick with an accurate response. Good to go in, get out and start playing.
What can I say, This particular Game Craze is by far the best one in the chain. Ive been a customer there for years, and every time I walk in theres always something new on display. Wouldnt go anywhere else for Retro Gaming. Love this place.
This has one of the largest selections out of any game craze Ive been in, very friendly staff willing to answer any and all questions. Overall have had a great experience every time! Highly reccomend checking it out.
Went to Game Craze to trade in some old game systems. Did not receive as high an offer initially as I hoped, but in the end I was happy with the deal we worked out. I felt I was treated fairly. I traded items unused and uncleaned for a long time and he still took them. I plan to do business with Macedon Game Craze again. Very happy with their service.
The game craze in Macedon was amazing! They have a huge selection of all the best games you could want. Even things that have not been around for 30 years or more. I highly recommend it!
Game craze in general is a great store. Theyre locally owned and run, they pay more than gamestop and offer better prices and deals. They also tend to have a bigger selection of retro stuff than other game stores, and this particular game craze is no exception.However, overall, I would recommend making the trip to the mall or to the Canandaigua game craze. The guy that owns this one (my guess is hes the owner, hes there every time Im in) is just extraordinarily impersonable. Hes not pleasant, doesnt engage in small talk, and just gives me the overall vibe that having to help me in the first place is a chore. I sold him a console recently and, while I would have liked more cash, the price wasnt the issue. He was just rude and I just genuinely dont like having to work with him.Hire someone to sit in that chair for you and do your trades... maybe Ill come back then. But for the time being Ill be sacrificing the extra few minutes of drive time to go to one of the other local Game Craze stores.
Honest owner, great trade in values offered, good prices (sometimes even lower than online), and no BS (like opened new games) like with some other big box/chain video game stores. I shop here often and love the atmosphere and selection.
No greeting and no thank yous/come again. My game was not in stock. Noir did he make a effort to ask if Id like him to order a copy.The staff member was not focused on me. Felt like I was not important or worthy as a customer. Never going to a gamecraze again. Very depressing in there.
Yes the staff is friendly but his prices suck. He doesnt have price protection on his games which means he needs full price for a game that isnt as much new some where else like Webster game craze. If you want to pay his price on retro games then be my guess. Ask before you buy.
Amazing prices, great staff and a great selection of old games. Not to mention Fried Chicken Friday, always my favorite time of the week. The chicken tastes great.
Guy wasn’t really nice, cheaped me out on money for my ps3, I don’t recommend returning a system to this guy that works there, wasn’t polite and just seemed annoyed but other than that I got a game I wanted so but I didn’t like his service

Disappointed I think they kinda rip you off they just tell you what you get credit but no receipt to prove it went here twice thought it was odd how little I got especially since the one game Alone was worth 50 in store credit yet traded in about 10 more games thee big names only got a extra 10 but was like okay but today traded in dark cloud dark cloud two which when I called a few weeks ago on price they said worth about 15 yet traded those two and God of war one and two which I know isnt worth much but heres the kicker a ps2 with two controllers and only hot 40 bucks when the games Alone should have been worth thirty if what they say is true as in we give you about half what we sell it for no my friends cause when I add it up its more like a quarter of what you sell it for long story short be careful and from now on Im just gonna sell old consoles and stuff GameStop wont buy online and take my new games there gave them two chances after my gut was telling me i was getting screwed and said no more on a positive they were friendly
Bought a system from them 2 weeks ago barely played it brought it back because something came up he said that there was an issue with it making it seem like I had broken it I told him I barely played it so he said he couldn’t do anything to bring it back the next day so I came back the next day he says he can’t buy it because of the issues the day before but in short it seems real fishy I just bought the system for 200 brought it back and the minute I bring it to him there’s something wrong with it then they can’t buy it back
My son and I go there all the time, sell games, buy used games, and they are always so nice and accommodating.
The staff are friendly, and they have a HUGE selection of games!!! I love game craze more than gamestop!

I call and the guy is ROOD on the phone and has nothing when I call and went in once wile people were trying to get a return on something that was WRONG a day later and he was giving them problems so I walked out because I knew I was next and didnt want to deal with someone with a attitude

2021-09-12Some of the prices were a touch higher than I would have liked, but overall it was a nice store. With some great stock. Really liked the TVs. I wish I had enough room to purchase them. Thank you so much for stopping awesome third-party item accessories for retro systems. They were awesome.

2021-06-04If youre looking for video games in the Rochester area this is the place to go. They have a great variety from retro gaming to the modern generation for very reasonable prices. I was very impressed by the amount of hard to find games and hidden gems they had in stock. I was able to check some off my list. I cant recommend this place enough. I will definitely be making a trip there when Im back in town.

Used to drive past the Eastview mall game craze to go to this one since the people at the east view mall were annoyed that they had customers in their store and the manager in the macedon location is always very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. One of my favorite stores in general

2019-12-03Top notch staff there....they really care about the customers. Everything is guaranteed, new or used. Bought an Xbox 360 today, and not only was the system and controller in A-1 condition, but the box also included an HDMI cord AND two batteries for the controller to get you started. Any other store would have said thats on the customer to provide for themselves, but Game Craze gives you everything you need up front for no extra cost. Great prices, too....cant recommend them enough!!!!

2021-06-17I genuinely love this store and the guy that works it knows what hes talking about but I see this lady from time to time there and first she fails to noticed I walked in. On two separate occasions I walked in looked around found something I wanted and walked up to the desk for her to jump and say I didnt know anyone was here you scared me but another reason why I put 3 stars and not 5 is that I brought in 24 games( including two copys of new super Mario bros in pretty good condition wii resort in not bad condition and a couple other sought after games) to this same lady and she absolutely man handled 90% of them and offered me 24$ for all 24 games I love this store but this employee is putting a bad taste in my mouth

2019-04-21Best Game Craze in the area. Always have anything you are looking for plus things you may not have thought of. Tons of hard to find rare items I have not seen literally anywhere within the entire area. Prices are fair and are typically what you would pay online with most sellers or they may even be a little less in here. Its a little bit of a drive for me but totally worth it. The owner also does a great job of incorporating older generations with the current ones which many game stores around here do not do, its one or the other. This is what a game store should be.

2017-09-17Excellent selection of retro/current games, fair trade-in values and prices, and an honest and friendly owner/manager. I love this place! My wife and I visit frequently. Also, the used games and consoles are in much better condition than I have seen in other shops.

2016-12-18Hands down the best game store in the Rochester area. Many vintage and new games to choose from. I stopped in looking for some 8 bit and 16 bits games, I got some cool titles that I had been looking for. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, which is a major plus!
