Just had a really great experience at the junction Blvd location. Kendrick and Linda both were very professional and extremely friendly. I was looking up all the prices of all the clearance items in the store and they helped me look them all up. They were very helpful in answering my questions and made me look forward to giong back to thier location. Whatever bad reviews the store got in the past.. Thats not the case anymore. I love this Gamestop. Today I came in and ask for my favorite person the manager Maritsa. A nice young man told me she is no longer at this location. I been shopping here for years and travel from Long Island just because of her service. Even though I have a gamestop near me. I hope she got promoted to a higher position because she was awesome! She is the true definition of customer loyalty and this store won’t be the same without her.
Worst game stop experience i ever had. Went in to get an xbox one bundle and the male worker who assisted me was very helpful. He should be promoted to manager. Then i had to deal with the store manage (a female with ashy knuckles) thats when my experience went down the drain. As i was waiting for my console i asked her to see a game behind the counter. She refuses to show and instead pulls out a flyer. I said since when the customer cant see boxes? She said its company policy. I said since when? Thats never happened at other gamestops, she then says well its my policy. I was taken back by her lack of respect. The same flyer showed me, said game comes with a free poster with purchase. So i inquired about the poster. She said pre orders only. I said it doesn’t say that it only says with purchase. Again her bad attitude “well we dont have any anyway” after my purchase i made sure to let her see i didnt steal anything. I think she was racially profiling me the minute i went jnto the store.
The guy with the glasses I hate saying or naming him like that but besides that he has been the biggest help when coming to the store. Willing to help you find the best games or gaming hear. He makes going to that store worth it even when he was able to get me a hold on a snes classic and a ps4 not too long ago
This GameStop is generally clean but without attention to detail. Floors were somewhat dirty and only one customer service rep was present. I attempted to trade in a used, functioning Wii game, but they turned it down because they said it had some scratches; they also said that about GameStop might take the game, but this one wouldnt because they had a lot of Wii games on inventory already. Wish I had known that before I went there. They do have a nice selection of Wii games though. This store does not have a parking lot.
I have change my rating from 1 start due to my poor experince by a previous manager named patrick to 4 stars due to new management & outstanding customer service by a Ms.Maria. After almost 8 months, I set foot in here agian & she was very helpful, made me feel secure about purchasing a used controller. She also explained very clearly about the benifits of the poweruprewards program, thanks to her I decided to renew my subscription after 2 months it expired. I will definitely be doing buisness here once agian thanks to her!
I came to this Gamestop to trade in a few old games, pre-order a new Nintendo DS game, and pick up a few used ps3 games. The staff were very helpful. One salesperson made sure I got the best deals and even suggested a couple of the ps3 titles I got. Id definitely go there again bc its close to home and good staff.
A couple weeks ago I purchased a used PlayStation 4 with a couple games. I told the worker there that I wanted to purchase the system just to try it out and if I wanted to exchange it for the new one if I could and they said absolutely! Well I went back about a week later and decided I wanted to exchange the PlayStation 4 for a Pro version because that’s the best one right now. When I went to exchange it the employee really pleaded that I shouldn’t get the Pro because it’s not all that powerful without a 4K TV and I understood that but I wanted the best one around. They then told me that they didn’t have any and the “best they could do” is exchange it for another pre owned one. I asked if I can just order one then while exchanging the pre owned one and they said no because it’s technically a return. How is that a return? I’m not getting money back from this. I told the employee to forget about it and I went to the Gamestop at 82nd st. They happily did the exchange and I asked them if the junction Gamestop had any PlayStation 4 Pro in stock and they said that yes they had plenty in stock. I asked why wouldn’t they do the exchange for me if it hasn’t even been a month and the employee didn’t know either. I had another incident too that’s been ongoing where I’ve been wanting to transfer my pre orders to the Gamestop by Steinway because I work around there, every time I ask for my pre orders to be transferred the Steinway store happily calls and the junction store always says they “can’t” do that because their system aren’t working properly and to just try again in a couple days. I am done purchasing at the junction location.
I purchase here all the time.I was looking for Gow 4, and this lady name Maritza told me the game is sold out and help me find it at the queens center mall location, I let her know the games is a gift. And in case they decide not to kept the game what is the period of time for return?She replay unopened brand new items 30 days and pre owned items 7 days. and you can take the item to any game stop in United States and they will honor our return policy.Long history short, I purchase the game at the other location but turns out my brother in law already own the game.So I return to this store the next day and the employe told me this store wont return brand new games.I let him know that Maritza told me different. And he laugh and told me, dude she is the one ho told us not to process transactions from other stores especially on brand new items because the store will lose money.So basically this lady lied to me from the beginningAnd ignore the return policy that its written on the back of the recipe.

2022-06-24This evening 6:14pm I had my visit to GameStop located at 3710 Junction Blvd, Corona, NY 11368. I had my worse experience here to get a ps5. I came in because my friend got her ps5 this morning at a different location. I called before hand and the staff said they have it in stock. I got there in 10 mins. At first, the Asian staff was serving me to see through a few ps5 bundles, everything was fine. All of a sudden, a Spanish lady, I believe was the manager came up to us, and took away all the paperwork from this Asian staff. She said to him that now she will be in charge of my order, he should go take care of the other customers. I didn’t think something was wrong at first, but then everything got worse. This lady started to search through the bundles, starting to tell me Horizon ps5 bundle was no longer available, you need to get the other bigger bundle(the Asian staff confirmed that there’s horizon ps5 bundle in stock.) I said I only wanted the horizon one, then after five mins talk, she said oh I found one that’s in stock now. I said ok I will take it, May I know how much and about to proceed to pay for it. For my friend’s bundle, she is able to choose a colored controller and to decline any warranty. However, this Spanish lady manager not willing to let me choose a colored controller and she doesn’t let me decline warranty! She forcefully put the system warranty on the order, I said to her I don’t need warranty, she said this is mandatory. I later showed her my friend’s receipt for buying this bundle, the manager just canceled the order and said you don’t buy it so many people are waiting to buy it, and then when I explained that warranty is optional. She said to me that: the warranty comes with the game Horizon, it’s for the game not ps5. So if you want this bundle, you need warranty. I then left with upset. This is super unprofessional and horrible service. This manager is not supposed to be there to represent GameStop!

2021-10-10Did my trade in for xbox and my switch exchange via warranty they didnt have any switch, they said they were going to ship a new one to my house, that was a lie, then they said all switches are backed up to the cloud, thats a lie, I lost my save for Pokemon, Plus all the Pokemons I gathered through out years of the game, game cards, etc. Also to top it off I lost my Mario Party, which they response was o wells, the flushing GameStop was much better and I would have never gone here if that store wasnt closed. Almost feels like the wrong store closed. If you can ignore this store and go to the one in the city. They are much better and professional. I bought the warranty from the city and my switch...I should have gone back to the city.

2020-12-26I sold some games was charged 5$ fee when the cases were in grate condition as well as the games. The women talks respectfully to us but treats the items like trash as she threw them around. That plus her ripping me off is my reason for this bad review. I checked the site the games were listed for a higher cash value. If your selling anything there take our advice and dont go to the older female she will under pay you and treat your stuff like trash and thats very unprofessional.

2021-01-25Sales associate and manager did not want to exchange game that was in original packaging with itemized receipt although the associate from the day before said it was fine. They offered to give me half of the price of the game as a trade in instead, ridiculous. Went to another store in the near by area and exchanged it with no issue what so ever. Don’t recommend GameStop and would never recommend this one.

2020-01-08The employees here are phenomenal! I love coming in to see Jeffrey. Literally my favorite GameStop employee ever. So kind. The staff are knowledgeable of any deals going on and are usually helpful if you need assistance.

2018-06-08Would have been 5 stars but the cashier assured me that using my two coupons simultaneously would give maximum savings on one receipt... he was wrong and it cost me money. Dont think he did it maliciously though and he was polite

2018-11-24This GameStop location is one of the nice ones. Beware though it can get extremely busy. Customer service has always been good. Staff is usually very helpful. Store is organized and easy to find games and or accessories. My go to neighborhood store for games.

2020-06-27I was interested on buying a corsair k70 rgb, i asked the worker how much it costed and told me that it was $130, I told him that i wanted one and then told me that it actually costed $170, what is wrong with him. Why would he try to lie to me just so he can take my money.
