Always great service here. Staff is very friendly and helpful with my numerous questions. Wish they had a larger selection of swimming pools but that seems to be how all the pool stores are. Weve bought two pools from them over the years and hope I wont ever need to buy a third. Very reasonable price on supplies and pool covers.
We were a little confused about the sales people. A young woman came out when we were looking at pools and said a sales person would be right out. Then she came back and said she does sales as well and the other sales reps were busy. We are first time owners/purchasers and made that clear but nothing was really explained to us until we came up with questions. I would suggest explaining things better. Buying something for the look of it is not what we do, we want to know details and there are tons of things to know about owning a pool.
I think this Garys location needs to review the kind of people that do customer service. I called one evening to ask a questions regarding my pool ladder assembly and the person was not helpful at all. Early in the day I went to the pool parts section to purchase a plug for my Hayward Filter and the person acted like I was bothering them. He told me the plug fits all Haywood filters and when I got home it did in fact not fit. It just seems like you receive the red carpet treatment when purchasing the pool after the sale is done the customer is no longer relevant which I think that is not the way any business should be run. I work in business that sells products and we try to make every experience with our company where the customer is concerned top notch. Customer retention is important so they keep coming back to buy pool supplies and other products. The manager of this store really needs to get some of these people to do a better job
First time Ive been here, ended up buying a hot tub. Hot tub is great, but the employees or sales people are extremely rude. When I bought the hot tub, of course I was treated finominally. Now when I call to ask questions (numerous times this has happened) I get spoken to like Im a moron. They like to answer your questions... with questions. And like I told them... if I knew the answer I wouldnt be calling you. They have zero customer service, I will not be buying supplies here and I will not be giving them anymore of my business, I suggest you dont either unless you like being talked down to.
Would give a 0 if possible. Bought pool cover 1st year, didnt have receipt couldnt get return. Garunteed if buy another have receipt no problem. I believed them , it ripped and they said NO. SOL For $200! Also had unopened Leaf Cover, $100 only gave back $20. $300 in product got back $20. I say FU Gary Pools and if your smart you will join me. They have 0 care for customers, been though this before. Trust me if you value money dont waste it on Gary Pool products. Or pray there not defective!
The young staff working should at least act like they want to work there... Came on a Sunday and it was like I was inconveniencing them. I ended up getting the stuff I needed on Amazon unfortunately. I go to Garys pools because its close and I dont have to wait for shipping.
After a very rough interaction with a manager, the owner, Curt, really made up for it. He took about 40 minutes with me to discuss my problem and possible solutions. He even did not answer his personal cell phone in order to continue his conversation with me. Curt gave me several products to help rectify the interaction with a manager and said I could call him with further issues or concerns. Thank you for correcting the situation!!!
I like the Jacuzzi brand but will never buy another one because the only people who sell them are Gary Pools When I bought the Jacuzzi it had a flow error problem and the waterfall leaked they came and fixed the flow error problem after an argument and said they would order the part for the waterfall I have called 3 times in the last 5 months the 1st to they told me they were waiting on the part the last time they told me they didnt order the part I tried to call corporate and ask for a website to complain on and she told me that would do no good and refused to give me a website or a Jacuzzi corporate number Done when I raised my voice a little she told me She would just put me on hold I said youre just gonna hang up on a customer who spent $10000 at your store and she told me no Im just going to put you on hold and not pick up they are like children and this is their corporate officer
The manager said I could not return my item that I just bought and used in one day because they couldnt resell it, All they care about is making money and not the customer satisfaction, Will not go there again I cant imagine buying a hot tube and trying to return it because it was damaged.
Have had to go here the past 4 days in a row for fixing a pool that I inherited with my new house (fixing new issue after new issue). The staff were always friendly, helpful and attentive. Lost my sunglasses one of the days I was here too and they returned them to me next time I came in. Def recommend, and they will test your water for free and tell you how to fix it.

2022-06-28Worst customer service The location on Union rd. Won’t say his name but middle aged worker in parts area is a huge jerk. Give you an attitude if you try and come up with alternative ideas and I quote “well do what you want what do I know.” Two times I have dealt with this man. I’ve seen him be this way with others also. If you question him he gets all passive aggressive.Was just looking for some dye to fix my pool leak. I asked if they had a small bottles of it instead of a Syringe filled because that is more for a specific area. He tells me you can’t just dump it in the middle of the pool and it will work. I was sorta kidding and said well eventually all the water and dye mix with go through the hole. He got all nasty and said well do what you want then. Never again I spend a decent amount of money each year with pool chemicals. This is the second time he has been rude like this. I know you won’t lose business but I won’t shop there or speak highly of your business again.

2022-06-07Did a water test for us! Told us what we needed to help balance the pool water. Had a ton of selections for pool toys this time too. We even swapped out our propane tank.

2021-09-19Lets just put this experience out there. Called to check to see if they had pool closing kits. Gentleman on the phone said they had all the components in the kit and gave me the price of each. Cool. Stopped to grab the items. Decided to ask the staff member at the register where I would locate these items. He pointed down the center isle. Obviously I followed his detailed assistance and could not find what I was told would be there. I returned to the counter and asked a completely different person for the same assistance. Got a completely different answer. When I dug deeper for clarification, explaining what the phone call told me, the employee responded with, oh, thats on back order. I asked when they might think it could come in? He responded when it gets here He then returned to eating his snack. I was nonverbally dismissed ! So what did I do? I left ! Never to darken their unhelpful, low work ethic, rude, poor customer focus doors again.

2021-04-28Great place for all your pool needs. We bought pool balls here and the cheapest ones were $50 which is a really reasonable price. All the pool sticks were on sale too and so we bought some too. Staff was very friendly even though we showed up close to them closing.

2021-08-04Everytime I go here to pick up supplies, I am not offered any help. The only staff I see are young teenagers who are either on their phone or talking with their co workers. After looking for parts for 15+ minutes not one person came to assist and when I went to ask for help the young lady asked if I was ready to cash out. When I asked for help it looked like an inconvenience. Need better staff.

2020-08-04Extremely helpful when getting parts for my pool. Had to wait before was able to talk to someone. Very attentive with each customer tho. And very focused on my needs to for the pool. Even tho first time owning a pool they were able to understand what I was looking for

2020-07-11Last year I purchased a pump and filter combo plus installation for my in ground pool. The invoice clearly states that as part of the installation, it included the reconnection of the existing electrical. My invoice is attached as a photo. The technician did not connect the electric and left me with equipment that was never tested, turned on, or working.6 months later I received a call asking for payment on the additional parts used during the installation process. I refused to pay for additional parts when the job was never completed. Im currently having issues with the 13 month old equipment, specifically the electric, and they refuse to look at or service their work because I wouldn’t pay for the additional parts. To be clear, I would pay for the additional parts upon the completed installation process but I’m met with unreasonable management.At this point my pool, equipment and property are at great risk of additional, and very costly, damages. After paying nearly $1100 I would expect the job to be completed. The only thing I’ve been assured of by management is that I’m guaranteed to never receive service of any kind from them. I’m more than open for discussion on this matter if their is someone who would like to contact me but at this point I would advise caution to anyone considering purchasing equipment from them.
