I bought 2 cars in here plus two of my children vehicles. Total of 4. First time was 2019 and I was helped by David Bucci and Chris DeMarco. The next 3 times we were helped by Trevor Huckle and Chris. They are all amazing. Ready to show any car u may want to see. Trevor has an amazing demeanor and no matter how many questions we ask he always has a warm smile and answers in a genuine manner. Certainly you dont feel that you are dealing with salesmen. When they say zero pressure... they mean it.Chris is a master at his job and will find you the best rate and financing. Sometimes I dont know how he does it. My last purchase was two days ago, I called a few weeks prior snd told Trevor what car I wanted. They got it all ready for me, had nothing to specify or to worry. They know what I want and got it done as soon as my car was rolled of the delivery truck. Went to pick it up and all was 100% as expected. When buying a vehicle, I cant imagine ever dealing with anyone else than these amazing people at Gault Toyota!!
We have dealt with Debbie Federowicz for years now. Weve purchased at least 5 cars from her .She goes above and beyond to help make everything easy and smooth. She definitely puts the consumer first. I love my new highlander. Upgraded from a Rav 4 (had 3 of them, loved them all, just needed a change). Debbie recommended the highlander and gave me an outstanding trade in for my 2013 Rav4. I have been dealing with Gault for over 25 years. I have bought or leased many cars from them. I have always had great service before and after the sale.In December 2019 I leased my 2020 RAV 4...my 4th one. The service could not have been better. I met Tom Turner for the first time and he was by far one of the best sales people I have had to date. He and Chris the sales manager, worked intrinsically to get me the best deal on my new lease, even though I was way over my mileage. I am a true believer in Toyota and their commitment to quality, and to Gault Toyota for their outstanding salesmanship and service after the sale.
We bought a new Toyota Venza Hybrid from Gault. Our salesman, Bill Slater was very helpful in the process. No pressure and very knowledgable. We came looking for a Highlander and test drove one. Then the Venza caught our eye, especially the 39mpg rating so we drove that one too. Bought the Venza in Celestial Black.
Baught my new Tacoma here. Sales guy was nice and helpful hence two stars instead of one. Since then they have let me down routinely with their service. They do not have a loaner vehicle. Buyers beware that once you buy a vehicle they dont care at all about anything else. Dont have service performed here. I wont be buying my next vehicle from them. Had much better luck doing business with Matthews (I am not an employee of Matthews nor was I paid or encouraged by them to post this).
Horrible service. Called yesterday to make an appointment to have a front plate bracket installed since it was a Florida car. Came in today and the guy tells me they don’t have the bracket i would have to order it. No one told me this or asked when making the appointment if i already had one. If i had the bracket already why would i be called to have drill holes put in. Tells me to order one it would be $50. No thanks. Went to autozone got the bracket for $6 and got my husband to do it in 5 minutes. This place is ridiculous, will never come here again.
Recently leased a truck with these guys. It was super easy. Did most of it right from my house. Gault did most of the leg work I just had to show up and pick up the truck basically. Super professional, friendly, and good at what they do. I will be releasing with Gault from here on out.
Im really glad I purchased a new Corolla. Its the perfect car for me! Holds up well and gets excellent mileage. The staff at Gault Toyota were very helpful and the whole process was easy. I left feeling that I got a great deal and have the support I need to keep everything running well and in good condition.
I cant say enough good things about this dealership! Im from Pennsylvania and was thrilled when my new 2021 Venza was delivered to me. The Venza was recommended to me and has been everything I hoped for. Because my Venza is a hybrid, I am really enjoying the gas mileage! I recently returned to the dealership for my car instruction. I would recommend that all new owners go through this process. Claire was wonderful. She was knowledgeable about all aspects of the car. Claire answered any questions and took her time doing so, making sure that I was comfortable with her explanations. She further stated that she was only a phone call away if I had additional questions at a later time. I highly recommend Gault Toyota!
I have been a loyal Gault Toyota customer for 20+ years. I have always been treated with respect and everyone of the employees from the salesperson, finance and GM were friendly and went overboard to make certain I was happy with my vehicle. I recently purchased a new Prius Prime from Gault. My intention was to look at used Prius’ but Christopher helped me get into a new vehicle with a payment that I feel comfortable. He was patient and worked with me without making me feel pressured. I couldn’t be happier with my new vehicle and I recommend the experience at Gault to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.
Recently purchased a new Highlander from Gault and they made the car buying experience very smooth. Our salesman, Johnathon Barnes was very helpful and knowledgeable. I have not had to have the SUV serviced yet but I fully expect the service will be as great as the sale was.
Great dealership! Stephen Shepard did a great job at finding me the best deal and rebates on a new car lease for the car I actually wanted (for the first time ever!) in a very timely manner. In the past, because of my credit, I was always stuck with 2 or 3 horrible choices on used cars with insane interest rates. It was refreshing to be dealt with so professionally for a change. He also helped set up the media station and connect it to my phone, and they made sure all the fun stuff like registration and tags were taken care of (I live out of state).
Never thought that I would drive a Prius, but the Plus is not your father’s hybrid car! ( sorry Oldsmobile). I was surprised at the way it drives, and very low road noise. Over 60 mpg isn’t bad either!Scott Kelley was great to deal with. He understood what I wanted and put together a great deal. We had a red carpet experience at Gault Toyota. This was our third leased Camry, but our first time at Gault and we were very happy with the inventory and service provided. The other local dealership did not have Camry inventory when our lease was due to expire, so we extended and they did not have inventory again. Our salesman, Scott, listened to our preferences and we found the car we wanted for a good price and took it home the next morning. Scott was helpful in helping us set up our audio system and preferences and followed up with emails to make sure we were happy. We ‘ll be going back to Gault for our next vehicle.
In the last two years I have bought a car and then leased a car. I have dealt both times with Mr. Trevor Huckle who has been great. I have had good experiences with Gault in purchasing, leasing and service. I also wholesaled a car to them and they were very fair in the offer they made me. I find dealing with Gault on all levels to be excellent and haste free.
Recently purchased a 2021 Toyota Highlander from Gault. Had a great experience working with Debbie Federowicz during the purchase. Will definitely recommend her to people looking to purchase a vehicle. She very knowledgeable at getting the electronics set up in the vehicle before you leave. Also followed up with a phone call and emails on how we liked the vehicle once we were home.
I bought my 1st new Prius in 2012 at Gault. That car impressed so well (now 8 yrs old with about 100K miles) That I decided to get another! This one a PRIME model. Both of those transactions, as well as all of my routine service events since have been flawless. Sales & Service have been very pleasant, thorough, & professional. The facilities & attention to detail exhibited by the staff are amazing. Parts & Labor arent cheap (& where are they?), but they do the job right & the car is always ready when promised. I am very satisfied with this dealership & enthusiastically recommend them to any & all.
I recently leases a 2021 Corolla hybrid for my son to drive to college. The salesman, Ricky Chesebro was so very helpful and knowledgeable. The paperwork was all completed before I arrived to pick it up. While I was taking care of the last part, Ricky was going over are the cars options with my son. It was a great experience..
Had a great experience at Gault Toyota. Non-pressuring sales team (shout out to Trevor Huckle who worked with me through the whole process). Ive had many negative experiences at different dealerships and have fallen victim to buyers remorse more than once, however this shopping experience was great. We were in need of a van and had been looking at Toyota for a while. I worked with Trevor to get the most I could for my trade-in and at no time did I feel pressured or antsy. 10/10 Id shop here again for my next vehicle.
This is our 4th car-purchase at Gault. We recently bought the RAV4 plug-in hybrid, but did not receive the $1000 NYS rebate. We were upset when by chance we found out that there is an rebate. After several phone calls over a period of days, we reached the sales manager who arranged that we quickly receive the rebate. We also changed our mind about the rust-proofing and he returned the money for that too. Our salesman, John Castelli, was nice, but he sure should have known about that rebate. Still, 4 cars, apparently we trust Gault. They do our maintenance too.
Holly is a great saleswomen, she was very nice and just an overall great human being. She made sure to handle everything i requested instantly and made the experience hassle free. I appreciate her professionalism throughout, she really is an asset to this dealership. Drove from near NYC to get the truck i wanted and they worked with me. No hesitation recommending this dealership, thanks to Holly.
They sent me a letter to purchase my car I drove my car down they looked at my vehicle which my lease was expiring was supposed to call me with my figures that was last week it’s now Monday still no phone call. Purchased my new car elsewhere from a dealer that took the time to talk to us. This is not the first time this happened to me with this dealership 7 years ago still no call for my trade in then I went somewhere else also!

This dealer had a signed contract with me to buy a car. Due to their error they double sold it, and refused to admit their error and make it right. It played right into the shady used car persona that so many are familiar with. Be careful, this dealer only cares about the bottom line , not the customer.
This review is about a recent purchase experience at Gault Toyota. Looking for a new vehicle I shopped three Toyota dealerships. Two didnt care to give a quote, saying We are full sticker on that model, while Gault was willing to make an offer. Dave Patterson was nothing but courteous and attentive, and always in contact without being cloying. I got a fair deal and treated with respect, while the other dealerships let me walk away from a potential sale. Very happy, and this marks our fifth Toyota from this dealership. I think cumulatively we have over a million miles on them. They just keep on going...
We were very pleased with our recent experience at Gault Toyota when we purchased our 2020 RAV4 Hybrid. Our salesperson, Stephen Shepherd could not have been more considerate in helping us choose our new car. He was very pleasant, kind, polite and answered all our questions. My family has gone to Gault Toyota for years because of their professional, helpful and thorough service, in addition to the quality of Toyota cars. I recently bought a new RAV4 from Gault and my experience was great (as always). Scott Kelley is the best! The ideal salesman. He was patient with my millions of questions and was kind through the entire purchase, loan and registration process. He didnt push me to look at any cars I wasnt interested in or try to sway my decision if it wasnt beneficial for me. I recommend everyone go Toyota - and go to Gault! Ive now made my second Toyota purchase, both times through sales representative Trevor Huckle, and I am very happy with both experiences. Trevor responded to me promptly when I shared my purchase plans, he is honest and straight forward and gave me information, not pressure. He listened to my financing plans and suggested another possibility, which will save me hundreds of dollars. The Gault facility is clean, bright and comfortable and everyone I came in contact with was pleasant and helpful.
This was my first time shopping for a new car in 15 years. Ive never been a fan of car dealers but I must say that the staff at Gault Toyota treated me very well and made the experience as painless as it could be. Going in I was uncertain if I should buy a certified used Toyota or buy/lease new. The lease deals were so attractive and their willingness to negotiate an even better deal sold me on the lease. I test drove a few different models and within a week I drove away in a 2015 Camry. They werent pushy about options and were willing to show me all the amounts making up the final price of the lease. Great experience overall. Would recommend them.They also have a top-notch service department which I have visited a few times over the years for service on my older cars including a 2000 Camry which I purchased used from Gault in 2003 and have been driving ever since! To be honest the only factor preventing me from using their service department more often is price. Like most car dealer service departments their rates are high. I will however appreciate that quality service over the next few years since my new Camry is under warranty and 2 years of regular maintenance was included in my lease. Thats a great bonus!In summary Im very satisfied overall with Gault Toyota and would recommend them to anyone looking for new Toyota or quality used car.
We love our car, Debbie made the purchasing experience go well and she was very pleasant and professional and helpful throughout the process which we really appreciated. My wife and I felt a little discouraged about a few things, but overall we’re satisfied with the purchase and the buying experience. This is the 3rd car we’ve purchased from Gault Toyota, so we are definitely pleased with the dealership! We give the experience a 97% rating.
I am on my second highlander. This is my first time purchasing through Gault. I have owned 2 Rav 4’s, 1 Camry and 1 Highlander through Jack Sherman. I wish I would have went to Gault sooner. Loved my sales guy, Dave Patterson. He was very knowledgeable, pleasant and not pushy. I knew what I wanted and wasn’t going to change for anything and he didn’t try to change my mind. I went down the next night to pick up my second brand new Highlander and it was ready when they said. I didn’t have to wait around. Everything went well. I haven’t yet gone to the service department but I am hoping it is just as pleasant as the sales department was. Check them out, at least for the Toyota part!!!
I bought a more or less new Toyota truck at Gault. My first service experience there for a warranty issue was painful. Mostly convincing the service department to accept my vehicle. I did not expect to be treated like royalty. Just HELPED. Long story short, most big name dealers have moved past the old sleaze and gouge reputation that dealers had in the past. Through training, seminars, etc. Based on my experience, Gault most certainly has not. If anyone doubts this, buy a car there and/or take something to get serviced. Ugh...I can not in good conscience spend another cent there.
I purchased a certified pre-owned 2015 Toyota Tacoma in September from Gault Toyota and I had a terrible experience. After giving my phone number to their web portal service, I received a phone call and text message from the sales manager, Margaret, the next day. She quoted me for the truck at $27,999. I visited the dealership a day or two later to look at the truck and meet with someone. It was then that I met with Stephen, my salesperson for the truck. He came to me with a price of 28,999, a thousand more than what I was quoted from Margaret. I had the text message from Margaret, which I showed to Stephen, and he took a picture of it with his phone, went back and talked to his manager, and came back and apologized and honored the price Margaret gave me. After haggling with him, he said that he couldnt do anything lower than $27999, which was the original price that I was quoted. He said, We already are giving you $1000 off the price. Which was a complete lie, since that was what the sales manager quoted me on initially. Im starting to think this is a tactic they use on a lot of people, so that they can say that they already dropped the price. I was able to get them to come up $500 on my trade-in, but that was all they would do. After agreeing to buy the truck, they said it would be ready and detailed within a day or two. After 5 days and me having to call them every day for an update, the truck was finally ready. No one from the dealership thought to call me during this time to update me. Instead I had to take the time to do it myself. The customer service was terrible across the board. But this brings me to my favorite part. When I came in to do the paperwork and pick up the truck, it had a large dent in the front bumper that I didnt notice when I first looked at it. I told Stephen that I want them to fix it before I spent $27999 on a vehicle from them. He told me no and threatened me saying that if I didnt take it as is, someone else would buy the truck within a day. Literally, the only reason I bought this truck from them is because it was the exact one I wanted: Toyota Tacoma, double-cab, 4x4, and low mileage. If I was purchasing this car because of customer service, I would have left in the first 5 minutes. Stephen did a terrible job, as well as the used car manager, whos name is Eric I believe. Any service this truck may need in the future, Ill be taking it to the other Toyota dealership in town.That being said, if youve taken the time to read this insanely long review, I congratulate you, and I would highly recommend you buy your Toyota from the other dealership we have in the Binghamton area.
I had not purchased a new to me car in years and was quite nervous. However Deb made everything go so smoothly I was thrilled. I ended up with a beautiful 2017 Toyota Tacoma and every step of the way was made easy for me to follow and I couldn’t be more pleased with the process and my new truck.
First 2 times I figured we had a rude salespeople but last Thursday stopped salesman was supposed to call me with figures it’s now Monday still no call ended up going elsewhere. All three times other dealerships got our business not sure what has happened but it’s sad.
We purchased a Rav4 in August and are more than pleased with our experience at Gault Toyota! I had bought a new car from Gault years ago while working for IBM and remembered that experience as a good one as well! I was speaking with a very nice gentlemen named ethan over the phone about some questions of my 2019 Toyota Avalon features and throughly explained everything that I was curious about and satisfied my curiosity 100%!! This Toyota has such greatly skilled and knowledgeable mechanic employed!

I couldnt decide between the 4runner and rav4 and John encouraged me to take my time and patiently accommodated my last minute request to test drive the 4runner , even when I was midway though the rav4 paperwork, lol. Great buying experience and I love my Rav4!

This was the third time we have bought a Toyota from Gault. Our sales person Dylan was wonderful; I was very impressed with his knowledge and appreciated his willingness to help us find exactly what we were looking for. My Rav4 had its first service checkup a few months ago, I was very impressed with the process and everyone I dealt with was very friendly.
Scott Kelley and the crew over at Gault Toyota are fabulous. I recently purchased a 2021 4Runner and it was, hands down, the best vehicle purchase experience Ive had. I got a great offer for my trade, and they asked a fair price for my new 4Runner. The paperwork was a breeze and they took care of filing it all with the bank and DMV. Big thanks to the finance manager Mr. Hill for helping me fit an extended warranty in my budget.We recently were treated to over 3 feet of snow, and I know 4Runners have a reputation for superior performance in inclimate weather or off road conditions, but I thought this snowstorm was going to be too much even for a 4Runner. I was wrong. My wife drives a Jeep Grand Cherokee - instantly stuck. I threw the 4wd on and cut through like a hot knife through butter with snow 3 feet high.This storm broke our areas record for most snow, so literally nothing has ever happened in my area that my 4Runner cant handle.
I purchased a 2011 Black Jetta about a year and a half ago. Within the first two weeks the vehicle began stalling quite frequently. I called Gault, they got me right in and swapped out the faulty battery as per their warranty agreement. My visit at the time was handled professionally and I was very pleased. Do note that I visited other companies that claimed the battery must have been faulty PRIOR to the sale or it wouldnt have went wrong so quickly. They made it right. So 3 stars! This last visit was a massive waste of my time and was completely rushed and disrespectful. I have no extensive knowledge about vehicles so as the car began stalling out this last month again, I took it to another service where they were honest upfront and said they werent familiar with Volkswagen. I figured maybe Gault could help since they sold it to me. So I scheduled a visit for the Jetta, which was roughly 9 days from that point. My service meeting was yesterday and was a complete sham. The man who approached my friend and I said hello, followed by You purchased this vehicle over a year and a half ago, so we no longer have any warranty obligations Okay.. well first off, Hello to you as well, and secondly Im well aware of when the warranty of my vehicle is up, but thanks. I brought it in for help to find out what is wrong. I assumed it was an electrical issue, so I put that down on the Extra comments section of the online scheduler. They had this information the entire time. Only after being there for 5 minutes (and hearing about how my warranty is up at least 7 more times and how its not their obligation) did the man finally tell me that they in fact DO NOT KNOW HOW TO FIX THE JETTA. I was told to take it to Volkswagen dealer. Okay, I appreciate you wasting almost a week and a half of my time and making me feel like a complete idiot, when all it would have taken was someone reading the information on the scheduler, and giving me a call. A simple Hey, we dont know how to fix THE CAR WE SOLD YOU, youd be better off going to Volkswagen. Took it to Precision Auto, and they found the issue immediately. No wonder the battery was worthless when I bought the car, the man said they dont have the equipment to test for Volkswagen electrical issues. Now I feel like they sold me a vehicle they knew nothing about. Rock solid. Most of the employees are amazing people, but overall thats a huge oversight in your business and unfortunately I wont be returning for my next vehicle.
This is our second car that we have obtained from Gault. The first was a lease of a Highlander and this time we purchased a RAV 4. Everyone we dealt with was so helpful, from the point of looking at models to picking up our vehicle. I highly recommend them for their integrity and their amazing car shopping experience.
We leased our car in May but waited until our first service appointment to write this reveiw. I am so incredibly impressed with the sales and service department at Gault. Scott was very patient with us when we were making our decision as to what vehicle we would be leasing- it took us at least a month about about 10 test drives to decide but he was never pushy and never seemed annoyed at our uncertainty. He always had the car pulled up and waiting for us when we came by. Lease process was easy and done within a day. When we hit the first 5000 miles, I contacted Scott directly and he set up the appointment within a week. I knew they had a shuttle service I could take advantage of instead of waiting but Scott offered me a used vehicle to get to work that day - said it would be easier for me since I have a 10 month old. My car was done within an hour and I was able to go right in and pick it up. They went over the checks with me and even washed my car. Super impressed and would definitely recommend anyone looking to lease a Toyota to go see Scott. Worth every penny.
This is the second time I leased a car from Gault Toyota. My salesperson, Scott, was extremely helpful. He and his colleagues from the front desk person to the people in the business office went above and beyond my expectations when it came to answering all of my questions and concerns. I left knowing that I got the best vehicle for the best price. I also love the convenience of having my cars serviced right at Gault. It is a very comfortable place to bring my car and wait while it is being serviced. Thank you!
Sales people seem to take a bit to talk to you now and then. Place is kept clean. Service reps are generally nice and will help with any questions to the best of their ability. Cars brought in are cared for when left for service and they even have their own car wash for serviced vehicles (no undercarriage wash). However if anything is broken on the outside of a car they wont wash it and same for if theres random items or trash in a truck bed and understandably so.
Always a warm and welcoming staff. We are leasing a vehicle with Gault Toyota and when I go to get it serviced I am always met with a welcoming crew. The guys walk you through the entire process and have never made me feel rushed. There is a waiting area for small children, as a stay at home who always has a kid in tow, I really appreciate this.
Scott made buying a car a very pleasant experience. He took alot of time understanding what I wanted and explained everything in detail. Ive bought my last 2 cars at Gault and have always had my car serviced thereI wouldnt think of going anywhere else. 100% satisfied with my new CHR and the entire purchase process.

My husband and I had a very good experience at both Gault Toyota and Gault Chevrolet. Both salesmen (Dave Bucy and Sam) were very professional and took as much time with us as we needed. We did choose a Toyota Highlander which we love. After we bought the car, we did go back to Dave Bucy to answer a few questions about the car and he was very happy to help us. GREAT EXPERIENCE !!!!
Just finished purchasing my third vehicle from Gault. Trevor is my go-to salesman here - no-pressure, and no-hassle every time. Service dept. is great here too. I gladly drive an hour and a half to bring my vehicles here for their maintenance. Unnecessary or made-up service items will never be pushed on you here. I wish the Syracuse area Toyota dealers were even half as good as Gault.

The sales person who sold me a car before is always very helpful, friendly, and she is extremely knowledgable where the Toyota vehicles are concerned. Her name is Debbie F. I just love her!! And everyone else at the dealership that I dealt with was very helpful and friendly. I might add, their Service Dept. is A number one in my book.Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!q
Sales department is good, but that depends on who you work with. I recommend speaking with David Patterson, hes honest and down to earth. Service department is mostly good but again, it depends on who you work with. Those who have worked there awhile are the best to deal with. Most of their management staff is good and will be glad to speak with you if there are problems.UPDATE : Have been a loyal customer for more than 25 years. Made a ‘wait’ service appointment for my Toyota truck (oil change and inspection). Went to the service center and they said “we have your appointment but it is a drop off, not a wait. You can leave it or reschedule”. I explained I had made a ‘wait’ appointment and didn’t have the time to leave it with them. They said they just switched to a new computer system and things were “a little screwed up”. So I made another wait appointment for the following week. I stood there and watched them input the appointment into the system. The service manager called me that night and apologized for the problem and said they would track my next appointment so this didn’t happen again. I returned the following week for the new appointment and they said “who are you and why are you here”. Yes, once again they had no appointment in their system and again explained that they had a new system and it was causing some problems (you think ??). They did take the truck and almost two and a half hours later had the oil change and inspection complete (should have taken about an hour). They also washed the truck when I explicitly told them not to wash the truck and because of it, sheared off a rubber bumper guard installed in the hitch mount. There is something very wrong with the Gault service center and their personnel. It’s a shame because the center use to be a reliable place to have your vehicle serviced.Update : almost a year later (7/2019), their service department and the new software is still a mess. I scheduled an appointment (2 weeks out) for my Tundra on Monday at 10am. Late Saturday night I received an email reminder of my appointment for Monday at 12:05 ?? Called on Monday and they confirmed Monday at 12:05, what ?? After a long conversation they did fit me in at 10 am but wow.... The same screwed up scheduling issues not resolved after a year ?? Same thing happened to my wife when she scheduled her appointment but she was finally forced to reschedule on another day.... sad, they have some nice folks but just cannot seem to get their professional act together ....
I will start with how fantastic this dealership is. Tim in sales and his manager were great people to work with , they were fair honest and professional. I had some trades , they picked them up , held the car I was wanted for over 2 weeks !!!!! . As well as Constant communication Day or night. We are from Waterloo, Ontario, Canada and were visiting our family in Vestal NY where I decided to get my Toyota Camrys both sun visors replaced at a very short notice.5 stars for the Gault Toyota team which came together to make my experience great.Dave at the Parts department ordered them for me. Timothy & Vicky in Service department squeezed me in for 9 am today morning (on the day I was driving back to Canada). Grant our Service Advisor gave us very prompt service knowing we are going to be driving 6 hours back and Joey our shuttle driver made sure that we received VIP courteous treatment. Overall we are very satisfied with our experience.🤗
Mostly good staff there. One of the best (John) is no longer there but I would like to think they are trying. Seems they are not as thorough in reading the details of online me appointments and it makes visiting a sour start. I would like to see staff pay more attention to others around when they are also having communication issues. Fur the most part, Gault seems to somewhat care about the cars they sell and wanting to be rated well on customer service, but every now and then they drop the ball.
We just brought home our new car yesterday (which I love). I am changing my review, I still love my vehicle but I dont want anyone else to get ripped off by the worthless extended warrantys the salesman Joe pushed us to buy because we needed to protect our investment. This insurance cost us well over two thousand dollars and to date I have had to pay out at least $1,000.00 for things NOT COVERED! It is a waste of money, do NOT let anyone push you into this!

Best car dealership around! Jess and Scott were wonderful and everyone is so friendly every time we go. They are not the typical pushy car salesman that follow you around trying to make a sale for money in their pocket, because they are not commission based. They are really reliable and make it easy to handle if there is ever an issue. Connie and Bob are fantastic people willing to work with their customers to make it easier for them in whatever situation. Over all one of the best places around.
We were promised two rebates and 0%APR financing. They had me sign one contract, then mailed a contract home for my husband to sign. Once we got the contract at home, we realized they had charged us $5000 more than what they promised us over the phone, and not honored the rebates and 0%APR financing that were listed on their website and promised to us.We should not have done business over the phone with such a dishonest company.
I purchased a RAV4 on November 16thI do love my car and Dave Patterson was most helpful with any and all of my questions.I did have a difficult time with getting my registration. It took 55 days to get it and that was not a good thing as my temporary registration expired on December 31st. -10 days prior to that. I emailed Dave and he made me aware the DMV had mailed it out on December 18th, however it was mailed to Gault. I did contact Dave with my concern and he did locate it and yet it took an additional 5 days.My experience with Dave has been a positive one but am disappointed in how long it took to get something that I feel should have been dealt with much sooner.

Im writing this not as a customer directly, I am somebody elses driver. I have to say though, this is an uncomfortable wait. I feel the waiting area is quite cool, and since Im stuck here for a while, its problematic. But I guess the antiseptically cool environment is what is enabling the guy with the green polo shirt, the Santa beard and the employee badge to walk around indorlors mask free. Wonder what would happen if I took my mask off in here? As I said, Ill be here a while, maybe long enough to experiment.
Car is running great the remote start has issues and not happy that it is only a 6 mo option then you either have to pay monthly or buy a package deal. This should be an option that is put on at purchase of vehicle not an added expense. The Entune system could use work as well. Otherwise staff and sales person I worked with were very accommodating and pleasant. Would recommend working with them in regards to purchasing a vehicle.
Scheduled an appointment for an dmv inspection, Toyota care and a recall on the milliwave unit. Somehow missed that the inspection was not on the work order. I left vehicle and when vehicle was ready and when told about the service work completed asked why inspection not done. Realized my error in not seeing it was not on the work order. Nick Pasquale could have said we are all filled up with appointments and have to make another, but he said well bring it back in and get the inspection done. Wow, great service from your service department and service advisor.
You pull your vehicle into the service reception area on a tile floor that is spotless there is a half-dozen service reps there that will take care of you. Just as when we bought the vehicle everybody was extremely friendly and helpful asked if I had any questions or needed anything. Waiting area was large and even had a playroom for children. I knew I made the right call by buying a Toyota

It was a horrible experience. I found a 2011 Certified 4Runner and flew from Arkansas to New York. Their 160 point checklist was a joke.The car I came in to buy wasnt ready (cross bars and mud flaps ordered that I confirmed were installed on Friday, werent on) and took 1 hour.The first test drive we got 1/2 block on the certified 2011. It had clunking noise which became a 3 hour brake repair.During this 3 hour repair I found a $3500 body repair on the non-wrecked and clean car-fax report. The repair had been done at the dealership which is inexcusable.The next test drive (I was sent out alone, which is ludicrous after everything thats occurred) and within 2 blocks, I heard a humming come from the rear. The mechanic went out with me and heard it also. After over 2 more hours, determined it needs a new rear end. No parts to complete repair within a reasonable distance.Ultimately I was forced into a 2015 which wasnt what I had budgeted for. Their take will be that they made a concession in the price to 30,000 and while I respect that, I didnt want a new vehicle for multiple reasons and spent 8000 more than the 2011 I budgeted for.I was told the running boards, which were a must have from the first call, couldnt get done because the accessory installer had already left.I even listed it on the paper for what was still due. No follow up from the dealership. I called 2 weeks later, was referred to GM. I called last week to follow up, spoke with Shawn and he promised a call that afternoon. It took 6 days and a call to Toyota corporate to get a call back.One of the comments made was that the tech who checked it out wasnt there any longer. I really dont care. If he did shoddy work, then recheck everything he touched.There was no reason for the dealership to not know about the wreck.I was in the showroom from 9:30a until almost 8p.Lack of follow up by GM and salesman to ensure parts had been installed properly.I specifically asked if he had had this vehicle out and everything worked properly.It was a horrible experience to someone who came in as a loyal Toyota owner.Moral: Buy somewhere else (but run, dont walk).
My experience at Gault Toyota was great! I was not intending to purchase a vehicle but they were very amenable to answering all my questions about the variety of vehicles at the dealership. They delivered the car directly to my home, a 2016 Toyota Corolla. The trade-in experience was friction-less with no problems. The sales process was great from the credit check all the way to the financing and they were easy to deal with. My wife was not as happy with my previous vehicle, but she LOVES the feel of a Gault Toyota deal! She goes with me everywhere in my new car and we couldnt be happier! Thanks!Jesan Sorrells
I worked with Temuri on my new car purchase. I came from out of state (New Mexico!) so buying a one way plane ticket was EXTREMELY risky needing to have everything in order before hand.Well, long story short Temuri had everything in order. The actual transaction took roughly 10min from start to driving off the car lot. The only waiting I did was the customer that was ahead of me. By far the easiest car purchase I have ever made!Everyone was very very friendly and it made a 2,325 mile road trip that much more exciting!If I ever need to purchase from them again I wouldn’t hesitate. 5/5 stars hands down.Thanks again every, especially Temuri!
Ive been a customer of gault for over 15 years. Over that time span, i have bought or leased, two Camrys, three ravs, two highlanders and two siennas. I walk through the door every three years and lease a brand new vehicle for myself and buy a brand new vehicle for my daughter. This last September was no exception. I leased a new highlander for myself and bought my daughter another brand new 2020 sienna. Poor poor sales team, finance team and management!!!! Once tom had my money, i became nonexistant! The paperwork that was supposed to go to DMV, insurance companies and my financial institution never got there. Without going into detail..... my daughters car WAS pulled over by the New Jersey state police and was almost impounded a month after i bought it, my insurance was almost cancelled, and my credit, which is perfect, was almost destroyed!!!! Beware of Gault Toyota!!!! Im never going back!!!! Jack Sherman will see me in three years for my next two vehicles!!!!!
Cant believe Im giving any car dealership 4 stars... Its a racket to haggle with dealerships but I digress.I am generally happy with the service I get from these goons. Im scheduled within a few days and my vehicles are done in reasonable amounts of time for a price that doesnt quite send me into a murderous rage. I could shop around for a deal but the speed and capability has kept me from caring enough to head over to the chop shop... Anyone whos good and cheap is booked out until my kids are in college and Im retired on my backporch painting nature scenes with demonic beavers.Who am I kidding? Nobody retires anymore... The price of vehicle ownership certainly isnt helping that fleeting goal. But if you want it done soon and correctly, I go here. Not the cheapest wrench in the drawer though.
Not the greatest experience, we initially leased our car from here. I decided on Gault because they told us that if we were unsure of the lease not to be because when we get close to our mileage being over that we could return the car sooner than the 3 years. LIE. That was just to get us into a car and now I’m 20K over my mileage. 6 months away from the end of our lease and no help has been offered and Scott can’t remember telling me this information (convenient).To take it a step further at the time of lease I was still shopping around and decided to go next door to Chevy when Scott walks in and basically scolded me because we “verbally agreed” on our deal. We both know he doesn’t uphold verbal agreements. Never purchasing from their again.
Run, run, run, away from Gault. My wifes Corolla needed recall work to replace her defective airbags. After some time on the phone with corporate they agreed that Gault would provide a loaner car during the service since we have 2 young kids and a shuttle ride home wouldnt cut it. I arrive to drop off the car and was told that I cant have a loaner but I could perhaps pay out of pocket to rent one for the day. I left without getting the repairs done. Thanks Gault for allowing us to continue driving a car with airbags that can explode at any moment and send metal fragments into the cabin causing injury or death. Ive bought 2 brand new vehicles from them in the past and was hoping that the new service facility would be better than they old one but alas, its only shinier.
Had a great experience with Gault Toyota! Came in looking at a 4Runner or Highlander but after looking through them chose to go with a Tundra to better fit my needs. Worked with the sales rep Frank Russo and cant say enough great things about him. We werent able to find a truck that met my wants list so I didnt end up buying a truck with him, ended up going with another dealer and brand. Wish we could have found what I was looking for. Will definitely be recommending Gault and Frank to all my friends shopping for a vehicle. Thanks for the positive experience, Ill be back when its time to look for another car.
I meet Gault sales consultant Bill Slater at the car show at the Oakdale Mall. I was with my brother-in law and he wanted to talk to Bill about the 4Runner. Bill new everything about the 4Runner. I was impressed with all the technical knowledge Bill has. When I was ready to buy a vehicle, I called Bill to setup a meeting. At that time I told Bill I was interested in a 4 door Tacoma, but wanted to test drive a 4Runner also. When I showed up for the meeting Bill was waiting for me out front. Bill had a 4Runner and Tacoma side by side, under the canopy for me to compare. He explained both trucks to me and could answer all my questions. We test drove both trucks and he came along to explain all the features. When we were done, Bill gave me a book on both trucks and said come back tomorrow and take both trucks on a longer test drive. There was never any pressure to buy. I decided I wanted a Barcelona Red Metallic Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road truck. Gault did not have one on the lot, but Bill found one for me and had it delivered the next day. I just love how it drives and handles. This was our third vehicle bought from Gault Toyota and I will definitely buy from them again. They make it so easy to purchase a vehicle. I always use the service department, because I want only Toyota OEM parts. Thank you Bill for a Great experience buying my new 4Runner.
We have been regular customers of Gault sales & service for the approx 16 years. Obviously we are satisfied with both. In December 17 we traded our 2012 Prius for a 2017 Prius Prime. Thx to Karen and her coworkers for introducing us to this new model. Were approaching 2K miles and we are very happy with the vehicle.

I have had two experiences working with Gault Toyota, the first when I traded in a HONDA CRV for a 4Runner. I arranged over the phone the vehicle I had already selected from the website. At my confirmed appointment, paperwork was initiated and financing went smoothly. Completed transaction after a couple of hours, drove home with new veihcle. Unfortunately my Toyota had confrontation with deer on highway and lost, I contacted Gault immediately and over the phone initiated a transaction for a new 4Runner. The financing was completed over the phone , when I came to pick up the new vehicle, all the paperwork was prepared and ready for signing. Left with new vehicle in only about a hour. I would definitely purchase from Gualt again

Dropped my car for its appointment for New Your inspection. This should take no more the 30 min. I received a call that my car had a repair needed, did I want it repaired. I authorized the work to be done. Two hours latter they told me it was not my car that required the repair, and my car still required the inspection. So it took two and a half hours for a simple inspection.Next day I noticed my cars maintenance and key light came on, also car leaking something. Called and spoke to my assigned costumer service rep.(CSR) I was told sorry please come right in that day. Explained I could not because I take care of family member. Was told fine drop in when you can. Dropped my car off a few days latter. Another new CSR helped me, I ...again explained I was concerned that when my car was in for inspection may have work done on the car that was not required, due to the fact my car was now leaking something and maintenance light now on. I was told the light might be on because could be time for oil change. I asked could they please confirm that or different reason. CSR said they would have my assigned CSR (ACSR) call when they returned from lunch.I called back 20 min after my ACSR should have called. ACSR was extremely curt with me they where never told to call me and nothing had been done on my car in the hour and 20 min. Because I never made an appointment to have maintenance done. I was shocked and upset that they had still no clue why I bought my car in. I explained you are the one who told me to just come by, and I did not authorize maintenance to be done. Needless to say they do not pay attention to what you are telling them.ACSR called me back ,car ready no leak. Went into service department first CSR that helped me said they changed battery in key fob at no charge and car was fine. Went to the parking lot to my car , maintenance and key light still on. Drove car back in service department. Same CSR said oh I can get rid of light. Not sure if the key Fob received new battery. So we had to wait yet another 15 min for my ACSR to ask if they replaced the battery. I was told by my ACSR no I did not place a battery in it. Told me to follow them had to replace a battery. Then I paid for the battery that my other paper work had stated no charge.So the paper work said my car was completed and battery replaced. And my ACSR said my car was ready. Yet the key fob still required the battery ...and I had to wait yet again.Very sad no one seems to no what is going on in their Customer Service. No one will go the extra step. I was so upset I had to go back into the service department because my car still had the same issues I went there to have addressed.

Me and my girlfriend recently went to gault with intent to buy a new Rav4 with really no idea of what we were doing when it came to buying one. We were introduced to Sean who was very pleasant with greeting us and getting us set with a sales rep, Logan who was awesome and continues to be. We test drove the base model and were impressed but we wanted something more so we decided to look at the XLE model and found one with a spectacular color. Logan informed us of all of the added features without being pushy which was great. We then went into the paper work and got a great deal on the RAV4. We could not be any happier with the service we received at Gault Toyota. Thank you again to Sean, Logan, and the rest of the team that got us in our first new car!!

Boy where do I start. I bought a brand new 2017 Toyota Tundra from Gault at the end of 2017. I explained to the sales man (Scott Kelley) that I was looking to replace my 2009 Ford F-150, and was looking to buy a truck that would haul a 25-30 foot Camper, so I needed something with a tow package and the ability to haul said camper. I decided to go with the 4.6 instead of the 5.7 due to the 5,000 dollar price difference and his insurance that the 4.6 would still haul said camper. His exact words were you arnt going to set any speed records but it will do the job. I ordered it in blue, so they had to find it at another dealer. When the truck arrived there was another issue with the price of what had been told and what the actual price was. After settling that issue, he agreed to throw in a bed liner because I was not thrilled that all the other trucks had one (Toyota bed liner) except this one. Well, the deal was made and papers were signed. A week later he called and said that my bed liner was in and to bring the truck up. I did, and after waiting two hours to have it installed I left. I quickly realized that he had installed a crappy 115.00 dollar (Rugged) bed liner instead of the Toyota stamped bed liner that comes with all other Toyota trucks. When I called him up to complain about this his answer was that the Toyota bed liners suck and people complained that they warp so these are what we replace them with. Did you really just tell me a Toyota product sucks? Strange for a guy selling their products. Well after arguing about it for awhile, it was clear he was going to do nothing about it and I gave up. Well now spring comes along and I go to buy a new camper and the dealer tells me there is no way this truck would tow it. He tells me it has no tow package and has a reciever hitch that is connected to the bumper, and wouldnt even except a Reese reciever hitch even if I wanted to change it. When asked if their was anything I could do, the dealer said well I can sell you a pop up camper, because thats about the only thing this truck would safely haul. Needless to say, I was pretty pissed. Now I am stuck trying to sell a truck that is completely useless for what I am trying to use it for! I would of been better off sticking with my F-150 with 240,000 miles on it. Scott Kelley is a complete lier that will tell you ANYTHING he thinks you want to hear, just to sell you a vehicle, and Gault Toyota managers appear to be no better. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place!!! The only reason I gave this one star is because its impossible to give it zero stars!

At 15k service. Waited 20 minutes while 4 Techs sat there looking at their computer screens ( most likely playing solitare) MY assigned tech was on phone with customer (or husband) FINALLY after complaining, reluctantly, one of them had to get up and help me. I also had an issue with car. (In cruise , RPM jump to over 4500 while not increasing speed, like being in neutral) After doing service it was explained to me, that is normal for cruise control. (This happens EVERY TIME 4-5 instances on way to town. (5 each way) I have since videod the issue. 2nd and 3rd opinions by mechanics with 20 and 30 yrs experience have told me this is NOT NORMAL or good for transmission!! Emailed several people at Gault to TRY service one more time. NO RESONSE from Sean Mills or Connie Gault...Yep, they have quality service and stand by their product. NOT
I was assisted by Tim (car sales man)... Strange guy. Was given a higher lease price than other local dealers and honestly wasnt very happy with the way I was treated by Tim. My girlfriend leased her car there and was given her car without floor mats and was told she would be given any.. I will not be leasing from or recommending Gault any time soon.
They are not fixed my car. Three time back store aways say bad gas still in car... Change two stuff, two thousand dollars more, tell it’s ok if I want drive to anywhere.but when I go to New York city my car dead in nj..... I ask someone work in ny Toyota,he tell me it’s about the transmission problem.. one month three time back so sad, not good English but just want that people know

Enough said.Steps to install battery:*remove old battery*drop in new battery*attach battery cables*tighten 2 10mm bolts*count cash ($49.95 ouch)

I brought my 2012 Dodge Challenger here to discuss a small crack in the paint on the drivers side bumper and also to fill in the two license plate screw holes Very very minor work the guy that looked at my car with me Chris Boulter told me approx $100 and they would cover the paint I said ok cool i dropped off the car on November 5th...they called the following friday and said that behind the bumper had some cracks and spider webbing ... and that someone could have bumped me in a parking lot I accepted that reality even though it seemed odd ...I asked what options I had such as repair they stated the bumper was bad from behind even though it only had a small crack in the paint so I was a little confused but he insisted it would need replacement I said ok give me an estimate I figured it was what it was right? Ok so I get a estimate for $1147 for new bumper and paint i said ok Ill weigh my options between insurance claim or when I can afford to have the repair ...and thank you ..I picked the car up today November 16th ..it was out back of the shop I walked around back to retrieve the car after asking for a shovel to remove the several feet of snow i moved the car out front to examine the bumper ...to my horror it was cracked all across left to right huge spider webbed cracks chips in the clear coat and several scuffed Marks all fresh like someone dropped the bumper and or a tool on it it was absolutely horrible ...i walked in and confronted Chris about the condition of my bumper he literally told me all that was already there prior and I admit i got a little loud and annoyed but when you have someone telling you it was already there when you know it wasnt is a unsettling feeling I was disgusted and said I wont leave until I find out my recourses if any because I made the mistake of not taking pictures before I dropped it off but really why would I have thought of that it was one small crack in the paint he said they would do nothing to rectify the issue and it was pre existing I called the state police they told me without pictures it was my word against what ever they said but said two try bbb and claims courts either way I realized I was pretty much of luck these people screwed me bad they damaged my bumper and told me it was my fault ....I was furious Chris Boulter made remarks calling me a idiot and swore at me but I couldnt quite make it all out I returned the insults and explained he would get his and what goes around comes around he literally invited me to fight him on north st I was shocked I said if you are feeling froggy leap Im 34yrs old with a career Im not going to get my self arrested but I said go ahead bud obviously he walked back in the building I went to the other part of the shop and asked for a number to whom ever I could speak with that could help I was giving Bob gaults number I could and left a voicemail detailing what happened like I said karma is real I will now need to get tremendous repair or replace my bumper all from a small crack and the lesson I learned today always take pictures ...Im beyond sick from this horrible unprofessional attack and bold face lying to my face straight cowardly bold face lies
Bought a toyota tundra rock warrior after 6 days of having the truck noticed the front tires were chopping very badly called them and they said there was nothing they could do, apparently they dont align vehicles before they sell them and there 160 point inspection is obviously not up to par

2022-05-05I had a wonderful experience at Gault. Deb is great! I highly recommend her. She knows her stuff and tells you everything up front. She does not beat around the bush. She is not pushy at all like most people are when you go to a dealership. Everyone at Gault is very friendly and knowledgeable.I will definitely be going back there.

2022-01-20I visited Gault back in fall to see about leasing a car. Had a very positive experience with Trevor. Everything from beginning to end went very smooth. Everyone was very professional. So happy with my Rav 4 hybrid. Especially with skyrocketing gas prices. Wasn’t even thinking about a hybrid until Trevor recommended. Would highly recommend Gault Toyota!!!!

2021-08-27I’m from Ithaca NY. Have been saving for a long time to buy a sports car. Spent several months test driving all different options. I settled on the Toyota Supra in large part because my experience test driving at Gault was so positive. I came by the dealership just to look at the car and they offered me a test drive, alone, with out being asked. They were so friendly and didn’t pressure me at all. They were very honest about the limits of their knowledge regarding this class of car (they don’t sell a lot of sports cars). Also, they addressed me and not my boyfriend who tagged along when telling me about the car, which has been an issue at so many other places, especially for this kind of vehicle. I came back a few months later and worked with Trevor, who was excellent. Sold me a gorgeous 3.0 Supra for a good price. They were even kind enough to store the car free of charge until the weather was nice. So happy I went here, I love the car and recommend Gault to everyone I know looking into Toyota’s. If you live in Ithaca don’t bother with those crooks at Meguire, you will be much better served here.

2022-06-14Unbelievable what we went through with Gault Toyota They tried to sell us a waterlogged vehicle. Do NOT purchase the 2022 Prius Prime with the vin JTDKAMFP7N3214247 - You will end up with a headache and potentially have to live with a moldy vehicle. See the attached photos for what they tried to have us leave the dealership with. You can see the video on my twitter account @edvingusinacWhat they attempted to do was blatant fraud.The longer version is below -We flew up from Northern Virginia for a 2022 Prius Prime with all of the paperwork filled out (they had sent us the paperwork before with pricing, vehicle details, etc). After getting to the dealership and signing the paperwork we were about to leave when I noticed that vehicles seats were wet. After further inspection the entire vehicle was damp. All the seats were wet, the carpet was soaked, the speakers were full of water, the carpet underneath the seats was soaked, and the entire vehicle felt humid.Not only did they not mention that the vehicle had water damage they attempted to explain it away by saying oh it must have gotten wet when we sent it through the car wash. Eventually they agreed to sell us another Prius Prime on their lot, but after wasting ~5 hours of our time they decided that they couldnt do that either.It was bad enough that the vehicle was waterlogged, but to not tell us and only admit to it after we noticed it? Thats fraud. I never would have flown up to pickup the vehicle if they had let us know beforehand.Shady dealership that you need to look out for.

2022-02-01Great experience! Buying or leasing a car right now feels a little bit like a headache between low inventory, fast moving available cars, and so on. Gualt Toyota was so helpful in finding me the perfect vehicle and John from internet sales took the time to discuss with me my needs and wants, then found exactly what I was looking for coming in. Literally everything I needed AND wanted! I worked with Claire on preparing to lease and trade-in my former car. She was fantastic, friendly, helpful and professional. Even though it was a bit of a drive to get to this particular Toyota dealership, I’d do it again and recommend anyone to work with them on finding their next vehicle.

2022-04-25It was pretty great, I was able to reserve my vehicle with just a phone call and email. They contacted me when it came in and I picked it up. It was super easy, I was at the dealership for maybe 30 minutes going over paper work and such. Out the door with a full tank and full charge. They definitely gave me the experience I wanted and am very happy with the vehicle!

2022-04-05First off, I can not speak highly enough of my overall buying experience from Gault Toyota. Not knowing what to expect and me coming from VA to purchase a vehicle, it was truly worth the drive and my time as I was surrounded by clueless/poor customer service dealers within my area. Scott and Carissa lined everything up over e-mail with the required paperwork and when I arrived, I spent no more than 20 minutes signing a few documents along with the explanation for each document.This is my first truck purchase (Tacoma) and so far could not be happier with the vehicle and the overall buying experience. Scott was very helpful in answering all my questions and even helped me load up the truck onto my trailer before the 7 hour journey back home. The Sales Manager even took the time to introduce himself and ensure things were going smooth with the transaction. Now if only all dealerships treated their customers like Gault Toyota does, dealerships wouldnt get such a bad rep. 2022-02-23I recently purchased Toyota RAV4 Prime. The experience was great and working with Jesse Appell was outstanding.
