Shane was very nice! Car was ready faster than I was told +I got it detailed free, and the rental was amazing. When I first got an estimate and dropped my car off the young guy who helped me was so friendly and helpful. I wish I got him name, but he was great. Highly recommended. 11/10.
They did an excellent job with my dented bumper. It looks as good as new now, Im so happy. And they have kept me updated with text all the time while the job was being done, which is really helpful. Staff working there are also really friendly and nice. Definitely recommend to anyone who need a body job done.
Absolutely blown away. I had the car repaired here for a fender bender that happened a while ago. They had a reasonable price and they kept me up to date with the repair. Before they even let me leave the shop after dropping it off, they washed it, and went over the whole car.When I picked the car up, it was cleaned both inside and out.Great job guys, keep up the excellent service
The staff was very nice with customer service. It took 2 weeks for my car to get repaired and it wasnt done correctly. Im glad they have a warranty on repairs. But now I have to take the time to call and schedule an appointment for a repair that shouldve been done right the first time.
Carubba did everything they said they would from start to finish. Im particular about my vehicles and was happy with their attention to detail. Gabe at the customer service desk was outstanding and couldnt have been more helpful. The ability to pickup a rental car onsite was a added bonus.Dealing with insurance is never enjoyable especially with something as valuable as your vehicle. Theyll always treat you with respect; return the favor and youll be satisfied.I hope I dont have to be back soon but know I can trust them should the need arise.
Initial repair was ok. After the car was home I started noticing issues. The hood was not aligned, oversprary on the headlights, tape still on the car, and the fender flares were starting to pop off after a week. I went back today to get this all corrected. When I called I stated the issue and that I would need a car. When I arrived I was made to wait while they work (fine maybe a quick fix?) Well then I was told it was done after about 30min. The car was not, then I was told they didnt have a rental and that I would need to come back another day. After letting them know I didnt want to do that they found a rental (magic!). Almost done getting the rental and now the manager wants to talk to me. Telling me they cant fix the fender flare issue because the tape they use is thicker. Well then maybe get the right tape. Manager was rude, didnt even tell me his name. Took photos of the flair but it looked like he was pushing them in so they looked better on the photos. Horrible customer service and job. I would NOT recommend anyone take their car to Gerber for repairs. They cant even get the right tape! Now Im going to have to fight to get this corrected.
Car was there after a collision. They got me a rental next door and said it was covered while they repaired it. Well it took 2 weeks for them to simply get an estimate done, and then said I wasnt covered for the rental because my car was totaled. This was never explained to me and was deceptively buried in pages of fine print. Not only that but it took 2 weeks, and they only had an expensive SUV left to rent. They stuck me with a 400 dollar rental bill. They also told me many times they would look into dismissing it over months and never did. Never ever trust this place!!
Was very satisfied with my experience at the Tonawanda Carubba Collision. The girls were very pleasant and helpful at the desk, arranging for my pickup and drop off rental through Hertz. Also, seamless coordination through my State Farm Insurance. I was updated with texts of when my vehicle would be ready and it was even a day early.I was extremely pleased with my service & repair(back bumper & side panel)
This is the slowest establishment that Ive ever been to. All of the staff are nice but they have issues with communication. . . . They say there are 3 shifts working 24 hours a day so i figure with the minor repairs my truck needed I would have it back in a week. It took 36 days and when i asked questions . . . . .they asked if I have a nice rental car??????Needless to say. . . If you want your car repaired in a more efficient schedule. Pick another shop!!!!
Awesome from the front desk Lucy was just great her help was truly appreciated I also got the impression she loves her job and taking care of people. The guys who worked the magic on my truck did a fantastic job. And the people at enterprise were great . Thank you for a great job.i definitely made the right decision.
I was softly hit such that my side mirror was dangling on its wires so I went to Carubba to get a quote. The service was amazing, everyone was super attentive, they wanted to know the whole story and was very sympathetic and personal. I got offered coffee and tea. The facility itself was also very nice -- spacious, clean and well-lit. There is a Geico office, which was my auto insurance, in the facility so I was able to speak to an actual person about my coverage and my accident. I had such a good experience here, but its a pity that I was quoted $495 to reattach my mirror, so I did not use their services further. I went home and used some Gorilla Glue and went on with my life.
I had the unfortunate need for a collision shop twice in a very short period of time. I was fortunate to find myself at Carubba Collision in Tonawanda. Immediately upon arrival I was met by Lucy and from that point on, everything was incredibly smooth. I was uneasy about the process, but Lucy explained everything up front and the entire Team at Carubba did everything they said they would to get my car(s) back on time and in great shape. I couldnt ask for more. Friendly and helpful staff and excellent service.

Picked up my 2017 Jeep yesterday, and I was blown away. The repair and paint job on my bumper looked flawless, and I could not be happier. Gabe was very professional and a pleasure to work with. The whole process with Carubba and Enterprise could not have been easier. And, they even washed my car and vacuumed the interior. Thanks!
Carubba does a nice job with repairs. This is the second time they have worked on one of my cars. The first was nearly a total, $14k worth of repairs and the car looked great and was flawless until it was turned in. Second was a rear end. This job was ok as well, but there were some minor issues that they were more than willing to fix, so it ended up good.
Need to work on their attention to detail. Bumper still had a slight bend even though they fixed it.I pointed it the day of the walkthrough but I guess they dont like that. Seemed like the repair was milked by changing stuff that didnt need done. The interior should have been left alone. My possessions were all packed into a garbage bag and items moved.
The work was done good but the adjuster promised me to touch up a scratch on the bumper but didn’t do it. I asked to speak with him and was told that he doesn’t work there anymore which is strange because I spoke with him few days before. I asked for a manager to call me but no one called me back.
Nothing but great things to say about Carubba! Customer service was impeccable! Jesse was thorough and very informative and also really easy to work with. He showed concern and was extremely comforting. Lucy was a sweetheart and took the time to really care for all of my concerns. Bob was also really sweet and took time out of his already hectic schedule to offer advice. I would refer Carubba Collision to everyone I know! Thank you so much guys. You took my moments of sheer panic and changed them into complete comfort!
Strongly recommend this place.I got some scratch on my car when I was driving into garage. They told me these were just some paint on it, and didn’t need to repair anything. So they used something to erase it and did not charge me. Very thankful for their honesty, didn’t let me do a lot of unnecessary service just to make money.
I felt so embarrassed that I drove into my garage door (costing $1,800 in damages) just paid my deductible. They were very friendly and helpful at Caruba. The entire crew was informative and kind. Recently got into an accident and decided carruba would be a good place to take in my vehicle, well i was wrong. It took them 7 days just to figure out whether the car was repairable or not, meanwhile the loaner that they give you which isnt covered if the vehicle is deemed totaled just racks up as the days progress, i got a call today saying my car is totaled and i owe enterprise $365. Next time i will do my research a bit better, hopefully this will help someone in the future.
Brought my car here after a very minor accident. When they called to tell me car was ready, I expected things to be right. They were anything but. It was missing pieces of the splashguard they replaced, bumper was not lined up correctly, car was full of shop dust. Just a bad experience with a company that I thought was better than that.
Only 2 dents on my car doors, and no damage to painting. But they told me to allow them to repainting the doors for 1000+ dollars!!! Even though my insurance would cover part of it.But after I contacted my dealership, Westherr only ask for 170 dollars including tax without any painting needs.There is absolutely no reason for insurance company to certified this place.
I recently got into an accident and had my 2017 Chevy Cruze fixed at Gerber Collision & Glass in Tonawanda. The team there was excellent, especially Lucy Longo. She informed me on everything that was going to happen and what was going on throughout the whole process. I definitely recommended this location!
Our car was rear-ended and it was taken to this location to be fixed. When we got it back, we noticed the tail pipes were missing the tips (which keep the noise down). They told us to go back in a few days and they would take care of it. So we get the car back again, and noticed many new problems with the car. The led light on the trunk hasnt worked since, the cruise control hasnt worked since, and the muffler and pipes had incorrect hangers holding the system in place. We also noticed the muffler getting loud again and started to hang. When my fiancee looked under the car (he is a mechanic by the way) he saw they never welded the pipes to the muffler and it had come disconnected. When he went in and confronted them about all this, they told him that it wasnt their fault and he must have hit something. Really??? Dont waste your time here, go to a local, honest mechanic!
Gabriel kept me informed of the progress, it was to be completed on Saturday, when they learned that I needed my car by Friday for plans with friends out of town, Gabriel worked to make an it completed by Friday!! All cleaned outside & vacuumed the interior, air on car cooled! For a pleasant drive! Thanks to Gabriel !
Jesse at the Tonawanda location made my experience outstanding. His willingness to keep me informed as well as pleased with Carubbas repair process was outshined only by his ability to maintain a high level of professionalism while still being extremely down to earth and approachable. I cant say enough about how this one employee has changed my mind about any negatives reviews Ive heard and convinced me to return to Carruba Collision in the future, without a doubt.
Geico person checked my car after an accident and all they did was walk around car then looked at inside driver seat then settled when asked to put on lift and check under frame alignment and tires because I was rear ended at 65 while at a dead stop they said they dont do that and handed me a check for 2000. Which was crazy. Will not go back there and will never use geico insurance. Be aware

We had our step sons car a Honda Accord fixed and were greeted by friendly staff.. Lucy Longo went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly from our understanding of the whole repair process, the cost and our rental car.. thank you so much.. we will definitely be coming back if we need anymore collision work
Carubba ordered the wrong part and I paid for it by not having my car back for over 2 weeks and only got poor customer service trying to figure out why it happened. Never going there again even if it is through insurance and would highly encourage others in doing the same
This place had my car for six days for an estimated 2-3 day job..this isnt the problem..they broke the spring on my key and took it to a manager..their response was i should have a36k 3 yr warranty on it..first off it doesnt matter what i do n dont have..YOU BROKE MY KEY! If u do decide u want ur repair fixed .and it was a good job but want other stuff broken this is the place for u..also if ur car is outside when u go to pick it up.take the key and drive it urself to the front to inspect it.because thats how they tried to pull the wool over my eyes about the key...more to follow;)

2021-03-03Do not take your car to Gerber. I waited awhile to make this review because I wanted to turn my lease in first to make sure I didnt have MORE problems. I had someone back into the front of my car during the winter, and I had it towed to Gerber (it was Carruba at the time). Everything seemed to be going smoothly and I went to pick up my car. I didnt give it a super thorough look over when I picked it up, but I did notice they left the antenna unplugged and stored on the dash, but I shrugged it off and just screwed it back on. So spring time comes around and I notice the A/C isnt working, so I plan to go there and see if it was due to the accident. But before I get around to going there, I was rear ended pretty badly, so I figure Ill have it brought to them again. While doing my walk around with their advisor Melanie, I inform her that I also had an issue with my A/C, and ask if they can look at that while theyre fixing the rear. She says sure thing and writes it down as a post-repair concern. Couple weeks pass, I go to pick up the car, and ask if the AC was fixed. Ashley at the front desk appeared confused and tried to look up the file, and ends up blaming Melanie for not inputting the info correctly, and tells me I have to come back yet again on Monday. I show back up on Monday, wait 1 1/2 hours for them to check it out, and they come out saying that there shouldnt be any problems because the accident was in the rear. So the girl didnt inform them that it was a prior accident! They tell me to go to dealer instead. Ok fine. Well I got home and I wanted to check under the hood to see for myself. Then I noticed that there was a huge smudge of dirt under the clear coat on my hood. So I AGAIN take it back to have looked at. Again Im sitting there for hours, and they just hand me the keys saying its all set. I go look at it and it still looks absolutely terrible, and I start to notice these dust nibs ALL OVER the car. Almost every panel they painted had them. But it was too late in the day because they took forever, that the production manager was gone, so I had to bring it back AGAIN the next day. So now Im dealing with Colton, who is one of the managers. I tell him how inconvenient everything has been between the paint and the A/C. He is the first person there to actually apologize about the issues. So I get a rental car, and later that day, Colton calls and tells me hell bring my car to the dealer for me to get the AC fixed since they wont get to it right away. That is good service right there. Some time passes without hearing anything, but West herr was having some trouble getting parts, so it was sitting at the dealer for a little while. Finally everythings done, and I go to pick it up on a Sunday. I noticed that none of the dust nibs were gone on the car, only the hood was done. I bring this up to Ashley at the front desk, and she just shrugs it off saying I dont know what to tell you man, Im not up to date on this. And both her and another guy working there were both making comments about how they were paying for a rental car while West herr was taking their time. How unprofessional can you be to talk like that in front of a customer? The next day, their actual production manager Todd calls me, and tells me to wait 30 days for the new clear coat to cure, and he ALSO makes a comment about the rental car as if its my fault they offered to pay for it. Now while I have the car I noticed even more issues with the car. They never buffed or fixed on of the backup sensors, they just popped the damaged one back in, and the inner lip of the trunk was starting to peel up at the weld. So after a month goes by I bring it in, and Todd gives me this huge hassle about how the peeling paint has nothing to do with them, even though my accident involved my trunk as well. Honestly Todd was the MOST unprofessional guy there, he even went so far as to say something like Why does it matter what it looks like, its a lease. They obviously have absolutely no workmanship or care about the end product. Dont go here at all!

2022-03-08My accident happened on 2/3/2022 it’s currently 3/8/2022 they still haven’t completed the job. They said it was because parts they got in were damaged which is fine but wouldn’t u think they’d try and have those parts delivered w overnight delivery? I waited patiently because they said it was supposed to be done on the 3/4/22 but it’s almost a week later and I’m still waiting. The excuse that Covid is holding up deliveries is getting very old since most companies are back to business as usual.

2021-11-17If youre going to use this shop please be aware that if you have a deductible and the damage isnt that great and you have to pay they will pay your bill up to almost $100 of your deductible and tell you you should be glad. My deductible was 1,000 they tell me the damage was 900 they told me the car had a dent that the bumper had to be pulled in order for them to straighten the dent and paint the scratches. I checked the car two three other collision shops including one other goober and they all told me there was no dent in the bumper whatsoever that the bumper could be painted by roughing it up taping off the scratches and painting the car not even the other goober gave me an estimate over $500. Please get a second even a third opinion but dont trust their opinion.

2019-05-30Terrible management and workmanship. My entire experience here was nothing but problems. Ashley at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful, however that can not be said for anybody else that I worked with. My vehicle was due to have work done to the rear... and only the rear. While at the shop it was obvious my vehicle had been either hit or scraped against something in the shop and they tried to hand my vehicle off to me damaged. On top of that there were also parts missing from my vehicle that were there prior to me giving it to them. The shop manager was extremely rude with my concern of my damaged front bumper, and took 3 attempts to have the bumper aligned and painted halfway decently. ( keep in mind that this was damage that happened at the shop, and I was pretty much told to live with it by the manager) I will insert photos to show this. If you take any pride in your vehicle or want it back quickly DO NOT BRING IT HERE!

2021-07-14My experience with Gerber collision wasn’t that great. I originally called to set up an estimate appointment which I did but called back and decided to do an virtual estimate through pictures. I was told to call the following business day if I didn’t receive an estimate the follow day which is what I did. I spoke to Todd I believe and asked the status of my estimate and his first answer was because I didn’t provide a VIN# (which I didn’t because I wasn’t buy my car when I submitted the photos) but it still allowed me to submit without it so I did. I didn’t get a call saying that it was a must in order to get a quote either...which it really isn’t needed I’ve a had paint work done before. Anyways I let him know that I couldn’t give my Vin at that moment I was at work. He then goes well I can’t do a estimate without it and that I was missing pictures anyways and all he had was black blank screens. Which I was aware of because they ask for certain angles that wasn’t applicable with the paint I needed done. Then he says this little black dot? I tell him yes and he gives yet another excuse saying that estimate wouldn’t be done anytime soon he’s busy and he couldn’t do it without the vin. So I leave my office to grab the vin and call back which he let the phone ring and after about 3 calls an agent transferred me off to the location and he finally answered and seemed a bit annoyed. I understand ppl get overwhelmed with work etc I don’t take things personal just fix my car. The next day or so I received an estimate through text with an insurance quote on it...I stated multiple times that I’m an out of pocket customer. That’s neither here nor there I know these companies just like to go after insurance companies for money. The estimate had all of these unnecessary fees for body parts etc. I literally have a small/tiny scratch or nick on my car just wanted to get it fixed because it’s a white car and you see everything on a white car. $800+ in work. So I got a second quote from another car shop and they told me that my nick was so small that they can’t charge me for it and that they would barely to be using any material for it. Long story short this place just wants your money...the receptionist I spoke to for me to book my appointment was delightful but Todd/Tom whichever needs a vacation or attitude check lol GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFFI went to them before for my previous car when they were carruba I have idea about these new employees.

2020-02-29Great customer service! My car was fixed within a few days and returned spotless. Looked terrific outside and in! Back panels and door had to be replaced from being rear ended. They cleaned my weather tech mats and vacuumed the floors underneath that were covered in winter grim & salt and wiped down the interior. It appreciate since winter isn’t the easiest to do all that.

Special thanks to Lucy for her friendly, efficient service. They did a wonderful job fixing my car and had it ready a day earlier than estimated. They even cleaned it inside and out.

2018-07-19I brought my Volvo S60 into this location for repairs after an accident and was very pleased with the service. Lucy helped me tremendously with explaining what needed to be done to repair the damages and what I should expect. She kept me in the loop on the progress along the way. She also helped me figure out a rental car with the enterprise rental agent next door and kept them in the loop so I didn’t have to make any extra phone calls to extend my rental car. I highly recommend taking your car to this caribba location.

2018-12-16Here is our story, you decide for your self. My daughters car was repaired here. It took 6 weeks! The issues were there lack of coordination, the vehicle completion date was postponed twice which made the repair take 2 to 3 weeks longer. First one was because, I have no idea they just do not know how to schedule? The second time because the incorrect back end was ordered, I do not understand how this can happen. Is not the VIN number tied to all parts? If not it should be, so this doesnt happen. I will not recommend. The work was completed to satisfaction, but any repair shop can do this. Its about the customer service!

2017-03-08I had an awesome experience with Carubba Collision. My car was fixed within a week and it looked as good as it was before the collision. They provide the life time warranty as well of their repair work. I want to specially thank Gabe and Bryan for promptly resolving the issue between Enterprise Car rental and All state insurance.
