The meatball grandma pie is great. Ask for extra garlic and extra sauce. The sauce is very flavorful and Im a big sauce guy.
This place used to be my favorite in the area, lately its been off. I think Angelas or the pizza joint are better. Last time I went in, the counter staff was a bit... rude

I lived in East Islip for many years when I go back I stop there every time. Spotless clean great good, my grandson ordered margarita 2 slices he loved them. Grandma ordered of course Grandma slice I ate there. I ordered 2 chicken parmigiana heros they put 4 slices on each hero very generous with all there food and Zeppols hot ate one before I got to the door. I think they are there over 20 years they always update and you see food prepared in clean open spaces.

Not bad, not bad at all! Friendly service and decent food, but i have not tried enough of it to give a comprehensive rating. Im a bit of a pizza connoisseur, so three stars is nothing to fret about!I dont like the picture they have on their pizza boxes. Its unique, but thats about the best that can be said for it. If you (Gios) want, ill draft up a new design to put on your boxes that isnt so..uhh..bad.

Great quality pizza, not greasy or over cooked. The sauce and cheese are delicious! Theres not too many Pizzerias that I think that stand out with their quality of product that is used but this place is definitely one of them and worth a try. So if you are local or not, you should definitely stop on by and have some of their pizza. I promise you, you will not be disappointed 👌
By the far the best pizza Ive ever had. My father has had Gios Grandma pie multiple times at work and highly praised the pizza. Prior to now he has always gone for another pizzeria on his birthday, but Gios taste made such an impact that he switched it up. The whole family could not be more glad he did. The family concluded its the best pizza any of us have ever had. The taste of fresh garlic in every single bite is remarkable and not overwhelming. The sauce & cheese ratio is absolutely perfect. In addition to the food the pizzeria is spotless and has an incredibly friendly staff. Top to bottom the best. Highlyyy recommended.
We have been going to Gios for years. They always have a good selection of specialty pizzas. About a week ago I stopped in for a quick slice. I got a grandma slice. It was soooooo good. I kept thinking about it until I went back this weekend and ordered a pizza for the family.
Best pizza 🍕 in town. Traditional crust, cheesy. But I prefer coke over Pepsi.

WOW the Caesar salad is so delicious with grilled chicken!! It was huge and so delicious!! The Caesar dressing definitely homemade!!! Boss ordered us lunches !!! It was spectacular!! Ordering for my family dinner after work for sure!!
I will never order from this place again. Horrible fried dough, who burns fried dough? How does that happen? Lol. To top it off you give the public stale powdered sugar? Chunks in a bag? Yuk omg. The pizza was just as bad, it was a delivery, so hopefully if you try this place your order will be better.For me, No Thanks.
Gios pizza is like every neighborhood pizza place. Close, convenient and cheap. Although pizza prices have gone up. I think $20 for a pie is fair. Like I said its your average spot so dont expect much .

Had a hawallian, have not tried pizza for years as those in the market are grassy and tasteless, OMG Gios is so delucious, i could not avoid to eat several slides...totally unheard from a healty food eater.
You have to try their Chicken Bacon Ranch Hero, I just finished eating mine and it was Soo Delicious.I think I will try the Gyros next time I stop by.It can get real busy at times but, hey who ever said being busy was a bad thing ? hahaOverall...Very friendly staff, food is always fresh and flavorful.Gios Pizza Rocks

Third time Ive been here and the first time was good. The last 2 times the bottom of the pies were burnt and it wasnt even edible. What a wasted $27 bucks. Have them a second chance and was awful. Wouldnt recommend them at all. :((((

I had the roasted chicken with balsamic slice and I do believe it was one of the tastiest slices Ive ever eaten.
East Islip is a very friendly area, with loads of guest-friendly inhabitants and clean and neat streets. Gios is a nice restaurant, good food (as long as you do not compare the north-american pizza, with REAL pizza (i.e. from Italy, Germany or other developed countries). The fast and (initially) very friendly service has to be mentioned. In general, this place is definitely recommendable, - the only disadvantage for guests, who are coming from developed countries is, that here - just as valid for 97,8 % of all US-citizens - the whole team is monolingual, and masters only the English language, - still, the business owner and his team cannot be blamed for this handicap, as it is one of the typical signs of the critical status of the educational system in the usa, which, unfortunately, does not reach the standards of e.g. Nigeria, Cambodia or Iran.Ceterum censeo: as long as you are willing to forget about European standards, this restaurant is absolutely worth full 4 stars.
Delicious pizza (Sicilian & Neapolitan). Also love their Calzones. Cant wait to try everything else on the menu.

2022-06-06Been goin here since the 90s. The pizza is still amazing no matter who owns it. I think theres somethin special in the soul of that specific pizza oven. Yet 13$ for a processed meatball hero, ya trippin. At least use real homemade meatballs.

2021-08-14Do not order anything that says shrimp at this location straight rip-off they put baby shrimp like popcorn shrimp. I called and the lady was telling us its 7 shrimps. This is a house salad with 7 shrimps
