Giuntas Meat Farms in other cities:
So we went to Patchogue giuntas meat farms today…hungry lol. Omg we got so many great fresh veggies and meats, cheeses and gourmet keto friendly snacks! The beef pinwheels were g-o-n-e gone! But the butcher made up two packages for us on the spot. Great store, nice people. We’ll be back!
Very clean store, prices decent with a lot of sales and variety is great. They have a lot of brands and items not found in the other markets. Cashiers dont have much to say, dont look for a response to your thank you and expect to pull everything toward the bagging area.. Nice and open so would be manageable even when crowded. Would make the trip for regular grocery shopping.
This is where I shop! Love Giuntas Meat Farms!👍👍👍Went shopping today, before Passover and Easter. Store was packed but lines went fast. Theyre always stocked and store is kept clean. Its close to my home and very convient. Cashiers are always friendly and prices are reasonable. I give this store 5 stars!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
They always have 4 or 5 check outs plus self check out so you are in and out fast. Their produce is the best. Their bakery is also the best try their pies you will always go back for more. Anything you need you can buy here and everyone that works here are so helpful and nice. This store is my favorite
Really nice store. Big, clean, and well-stacked. Prices for deli, produce, and bakery are quite reasonable. Meat, a little more expensive than most mass supermarkets, and groceries also on the higher end. That noted, its a pleasant shopping experience, so shop the circular and youll be happy. 🙂
The best Union butchers. Beautiful new location, beautiful cuts of meat. Theres nothing they dont have a meat farms. The meat farms brand raviolis the cheese ones, are incredible. Just another great family business. Literally a Long island gem. I dont know where I would shop if they closed.
Love this store when I just need a few things and I always get my cold cuts here. Certainly not a new store and its not wearing its age very well. Its really time to give this store a fresher, cleaner look. Other than that, the only issue Ive ever had with this store is the deli counter. There are 2 or 3 people behind the counter that seem to really do their job quickly, efficiently and professionally; however, unfortunately there are many more deli counter employees then just these few. The majority seem very slow and they always make you feel like youre an inconvenience, like youve come at a bad time for them. Theres always a line at the deli counter, unless you get there when they open. They dont seem to staff the deli counter appropriately. Even Google knows the real busy times at the store, so you would think, the management as well. When they do seem to have an adequate number of staff behind the counter, they arent all serving customers. I would think that although cleaning up and covering the trays and cold cuts every night is something that must get done, they seem to start the process quite early and I would think when there are 10 people waiting for cold cuts whomever is covering trays, etc. should jump in for a bit to get the line down. Ive seen many times people get fed up waiting and end up leaving before their number is called. Please dont take this as a completely negative review, its not meant that way. But know that the deli counter is enough of an issue that I took the time to write this review, something I would not normally do. I do feel Meat Farms homemade food is of the highest quality, always fresh and great tasting. And although I spoke negatively about the deli counter, the cold cuts are always quality and the homemade salads are wonderful. Their rotisserie chicken is great, their garlic bread is fantastic and all their breads are fresh. I have many times picked up the Italian bread and it was still warm. The shelves are always stocked, The milk and eggs are always fresh. The cashiers are always friendly and seem to move quickly; however, they should have a check out line that is for five items or less. Perhaps looking into a self check out would be a good idea. There are many nights that I am online with a handful of people that only have one or two items while those ahead of us have a cart full.Overall I really do believe this is a great store!
A beautiful new store created by owners who are very proud of it. Lots of space, high ceilings and good lighting. Clean and safe. A greeter offered masks at the entrance. The produce section alone is bigger than many stores and the open butcher shop invites special requests.
Just to say. Excellent bababoom!! Products are so fresh!! I feel like slapping them!! The organization of every item is Excellent. The staff super helpful 👏 . The deli stock with everything you may want/ need. At this location 100% recommended. They have at entrance disinfected wipes. The prices super 👌 affordable. Go shop save at Giuntas Meat farm. You will thank me. Sending always positive energy to all..be all safe and keeping healthy muuuah
This is my quick go-to store. I find what I need quickly. It’s clean, the staff has always been helpful. If you’re getting deli, expect to wait - just like every other store. I personally don’t want my meat slicer rushing! Safety first. All cashiers I’ve experienced have been very friendly. I’ve been Going to this store over 15 yrs. 👍
It USED to be a great store until they opened the new store the prices went haywire up. The meat quality went down and the regular grocery prices on sale are now higher than they are at Shoprite. There are almost no sale prices on meat ,guess they have to pay for the store but I actually found the quality of meat way better at Shoprite. At least they have decent sales. VERY disappointed.
Waited 20 minutes at the deli counter only to have my number skipped and told I have to wait... I didnt have my phone and I was staring at the numbers so I know I didnt miss it.Half the customers dont have their masks on properly. This store has many problems including being filthy (and its a new location?) And shopping carts taking up most parking spaces.
Store is convenient when needed for quick stop, groceries and meats are overpriced so I dont purchase much of that, deli items are fresh which is mostly why I go, the lines are long at deli counter however goes fairly quick once number is called. Three stars because too pricey.
I stop by when ever I am in the area a few times a month. I love the deli and fresh warm Italian bread. I am always happy with the meat and cheese selections. My dogs look forward to a package of deli meat end cuts as their treat. Giuntas has one of the best produce departments with items I can not find in other stores. Iwish there was one closer to my home.
This store was formerly Pathmark and the parking lot is huge. It is very clean and well stocked but presently very pricey for most items. I hope that changes. While checking out at the self serve I noticed credit or debit are the only forms of payment accepted. Cash and EBT cannot be used at self checkout which is often a time saver.
Really great supermarket, I get many of my groceries from here. They have great tasting food and a huge variety. You can almost buy anything there. There is also a recycling center, where you can receive 5 cents for each bottle you return that the store sells. Just beware, many of the employees are either unaware of whats in stock or dont speak English.
Great place to get all your Italian goodies. Great soppressata and mortadella. The store made roast beef is insanely delicious and they have fresh baked bread. They have fresh grated cheeses and specialty cheeses. The fruit and veggie section carries a lot of ethnic products and that... as Martha Stewart says...is a good thing. They have butchers on premises and there isnt any cut of meat you cant get. Its not like a stop and shop... theyre not that big and therefore cant offer such a great variety, but the stuff they do carry is top notch. We shop there as often as we can and then supplement the rest at other supermarkets. Give them a try... Im sure it will become a favorite place to shop.
Best quality and prices for produce, lunch meat and bakery! Meats are comparable in price to stop & shop but certainly better quality.Limited to no selection of organicgrass fedantibiotic free for meat, for this I use stop and shop. But other than that I love my meat farms. The store is not as clean as the Lake Ronkonkoma location where I used to frequent for years before I moved, but none the less IT IS STILL CLEAN.
I’ve been coming to Giunta’s Meat Farms, since I was a little kid, 16 years later, it’s still my deli of choice. Chicken salad is amazing, and so is there marinara sauce. There fruits and vegetables are always fresh, and they always have a variety of fruits to choose from. The owner is super nice and so are the employees, they always greet us when we come it, even with a simple “hello”. Will always shop here, great supermarket👍👍
Not impressed with the new location in Patchogue. The new store is much bigger than their other locations. One would think by the size of the new store it would have a fresh seafood department, NO it doesn’t. I found the employees not at all friendly Nor helpful as in the other locations as well. I will keep shopping at the Holbrook location.
I like this store, Miss parts of the old place. At least no one sits on the cheese counter anymore. BUT today a bunch of boomers were peeling All the corn and then placing the ones they didn’t like, already peeled ears, back on top of the pile. I didn’t buy any. There’s a global pandemic going on here, U should be taking the ones you touch. Shameful!
The first time I went I had an awesome experience. The 2nd time, not so much. The prices for produce and meat are decent and there is a nice selection. So much better than the local grocery stores. The first day was a Friday afternoon everyone was so friendly and helpful. I spoke with the butcher who helped me right away with no issues, the cashier was friendly and welcoming with a smile and a nice attitude.I went back 2 days later to pick up my butcher order and despite there being two people in back at the butcher and no line, I was ignored for TEN mins! It was a younger gentleman who didnt seem to care a line was forming and people were waiting for help. The cashier looked like a teenager, barely acknowledged me and looked like he hated his life. No smile, no friendliness at all, not even a have a nice day when I left. Very unprofessional and very offputting to get this type of treatment.
Been shopping at the Medford location since you opened in the small store in front, now Mama Bellas and Swiftway, whatever else. My Dad would deliver from White Rose Foods there, always come home with a huge pie and/or something new and different. Still shop at the Medford location quite frequently, stiff finding something new and different every now and then. Very excited about the move to the Pathmark space, good luck with that. Its nice to know you are not selling out like Best, when ever they actually do. Always liked Meat Farms better anyway. HOPEFULLY, and I have one gripe with the Medford store, the deli counter. At times, weve spent over a half hour waiting to be served. Not your fault, to a degree, the workers are always working and have always been as pleasant as possible. Its just that theres too much pain in the you know what patronage at times, all Im saying regarding that. So, hopefully, with that larger deli counter/space in the Pathmark space you can address the deli counter situation. Shop Rite offers a web ordering thing. Its how we do it there. Order online or on the phone and its ready and waiting in the cold case out front. Maybe look into that? So, yeah, Im more than happy for you on the new store. All the best and I cant wait to check it out. Good luck.
Beware... I went there 5/21/20 at about 9am and there were people not wearing their masks and others not wearing their mask properly. One man took his mask off at the Deli counter to tell the employee what he wanted to order. Many people were wearing masks on their chin or under their nose. When I checked out at the cash register, I told an employee who said I know thats terrible. But I blame Meat Farms for not enforcing it. Hey Meat Farms... Clean up your act.
Guinta’s has good fruits & vegetables at great prices, terrific dessert choices, a wide variety of prepared foods and an assortment of cheeses. Most enjoyed is their delicious Italian Bread , prepared fresh daily , & enjoyed hot , fresh from the oven...mmm.... good! Management staff is responsive to requests for special foods- they aim to please their customers! 👍😊
This is one of the most disgusting stores I have been in. Upon discovering the truth of how filthy the bathrooms are in the back I will personally never buy food from here ever again. If they barley clean the bathroom who knows if they clean there deli equipment. Save your time and energy and go to Shop rite just down the road.Update: I find it unacceptable that it took two years for a response.
Arrogant management, decomposing produce.(great cashiers though) Notice how they’re too cheap to buy an adequate refrigeration system, so a couple hours before closing they dump mixed produce into shopping carts and push it into refrigerators in the back overnight roughing it up and bruising it, then in the morning do it again and let it sit out on display at room temperature to decompose all day long. If it wasn’t for it being treated with emf radiation (‘laser treatment’ I was told) to preserve the colors and to make it appear fresh it would be a complete disaster. But I’m so glad they’re at least making it LOOK like it’s fresh, lol! What other store do you know that only refrigerates their produce part time, yet has a full time price tag. Numerous concerns about the declining quality of several products turned against and blamed on customers instead of investigating the source of the issue, which is the arrogant self absorbed management. I’ll take my business and money elsewhere.
Ive been going to this store for a while now. But today the cashier was not on his top game. LolI walked up the the cash register to check out. The cashier was playing a game on his cell phone. I shouldnt have bothered him. Lol he didnt even say hi or acknowledged me. He just turned and rung my up. He said $ The amount I owed. Nothing else. I when I was paying with my card, he turned to his game to on his Cell phone and started playing. I got cash back, it was an inconvenience to him. He had to stop and hand me $20 cash back. He didnt say thank you or say have a nice day. So anyway, Ill still go there because everyone else has been awesome. But if it continues, I like to be greeted by nice people. I am nice back!
The meat is anything but fresh. It is pretty ironic how the name Meat Farms is anything but here at this super market. I have gone in on several occasions, and if the meat shelves arent stocked, the meat they do have for sale is rot. They only have old meat that is browned and severely discolored. I bought what seemed like a descent fresh cut one day, only to find that 1/4 inch into the meat it was browned and discolored just like the rest they had. It smelled like bad meat and was slimy because of the degrading proteins. This is an embarrassment to the community and health hazard to the general public. Theyre home brand sausages also SUCK. The casing is of the lowest quality Ive ever seen anywhere. It is tough as cow hide and they taste extremely bland. They are not juicy at all and just look terrible when they come off the grill. Compare a name brand super market like Stop and Shops meats to this place, you will be glad you listened to me. After spending half of my day getting a refund for the bad meat, I went to stop and shop, and was SHOCKED at the huge difference in quality and freshness of their meats compared to Giuntas. The meats at stop and shop were tender and fresh. You could tell by the color that was a rich red. I will never shop at Giuntas Meat Farms again, and I hope you dont either.
I am an home griller extraordinaire. Im always looking for new quality cuts of meats to smoke or grill and meat farms is by far and away my go to source for these products. I can call the butcher and tell him what I need and he will break it down and trim it up for me and have it waiting for me when I get there. If your an amateur back yard cook or a seasoned vet Meat Farms is your place for the meats. Sorry Arbys. Lol
Oh look I never hit post on my last visit Aparently not to long ago I came in on my lunch break and was #30 @ the deli counter and they were serving #28 it took 30 minutes to be servedToday was an improvement on a Sunday mid afternoon about 215ish I walked in and got some vegetables 1st and then went to the deli department and got #78 they were on 71 went back for some more vegetables and got back to the deli #77 and was called 2 minutes later all went well nice job deli departmentCheck out ( well we all know how that goes ) on a Sunday afternoon, but today to my surprise it went pretty quick two people a head of me with pretty full wagons was out quickly under 5 min great job meat farms
Meat Farms is very conveniently located has great price on produce and vegetables and an awesome meet so I can get very expensive for canned goods and other things similar to that I would recommend in like a supermarket you can easily spend $300 here and not even fill up a cart but the food is fresh and it is very convenient as there is really a long line best for a fruits and meat
I bought 2 whole chickens from this store for our Christmas dinner. I should have been a little more wary when the package said Product of USA. When I tried to pierce the skin with a toothpick, it was like leather. I had to cut it with a knife to make a hole. Well I cooked them in my rotissierie and when they were ready to be carved they were the toughest chickens I ever had. I couldnt cut through the joint with my sharpest knife. Ususally they would come off in your hand with a regular Perdue chicken. The thigh bone was unusually thin. The skin was tough to chew. My whole dinner was ruined. I hadnt shopped there for some years. I spent over $20 for the worst chicken I ever had. I had to throw out both birds. What a disappointment. Never Again!!

2021-08-09Impressively clean and tidy, this Meat Farms puts other locations to shame. However, gone are the bargain prices for meat; for example, the skirt steak is $24.99 per pound. Another example: Rib Eye steak is $16.99 per pound. I might as well go to a butcher to buy meat now…or eat it at an upscale steakhouse with creamed spinach and corn on the side.

2022-07-04I like Meat Farms. They do have the freshest vegetables and a better selection of meat than the supermarkets. The grocery aisles are well stocked. Milk is Cream-o-Land (best brand) and the store is neat, clean, and well lit.Only thing preventing 5 stars: Wish the staff was more friendly.Great place- shop here often.

2022-05-313 stars for today. It would have been nice to know that you were closing at 8pm today. Site is vague telling what time it closes. Many tried coming in for that last minute sweet potato.

2021-12-28Very clean and spacious. Love the self checkout. I wish they had their own store brand of snacks. 4.59 for Keebler crackers is a little steep. But overall I loved it. Italian bread should be bagged, not just in the paper wrapper.

2022-03-06Nice little store with fair prices. Somewhat of a limited selection because they are a smaller store but I do enjoy shopping there.
