Disgusting food. Absolutely filthy kitchen. I definitely wouldnt eat here. The owner will let produce and other refrigerated perishable items sit in a cooler 45°f+. He says lettuce is better at these temperatures which is completely wrong and goes against the health department and Oshas standards. The walk in has crud from dirt and food built up on the floor where you need to use a razor to scrape it up. I do NOT recommend eating from Giuseppes. Every Giuseppes except the one in Dannemora is owned by the same family. One more thing, they mix their pizza sauce in a garbage can, gross...
If the wings were any smaller they would be non existent! I have never seen wings so small. $30 for a medium on topping pizza and tiny wings is not a bargain! Dont try the special it is very disappointing.

My experience was well worth the money. Very reluctant at first because of some negative feedback. Ive been in food service for 21 years now. Ive come to realize that people are more likely to leave negative feedback than positive feedback and also that you cant please everyone 100 percent of the time. Food was great, service a. Plus. My drink never went empty. Great family dig to eat at.
Placed a fairly large order for lunch this afternoon for our staff. Everything arrived on time and tasted great. The pizzas arrived hot and the salads were fresh. The girl on the phone was very helpful and polite when I placed the order ahead of time. I am from out of the area and this pizza place was recommended by one of our staff members. I know right where to order from next time we have a meeting. Excellent!
Ordered pizza and mega fries today.. been a while as we usually ordered from a different place but Giuseppes today has come to be a contender on our delivery food list. We stopped years ago due to pizza being sloppy but it was GREAT today!
We visited during Thanksgiving break. Family of 5 was easily accommodated. Waitress was pleasant and helpful. New cook in the Kitchen did a fabulous job! We will definitely go back for more!
Meat lovers Stromboli, personal size is plenty filling for one or even two. Very good, cooked well, did become salty tasting prior to finishing, alot of meat, (salty ham?). Descent price. Good service. Friendly Staff.
Giuseppes is the best place for Italian food in Plattsburgh. I love stopping there for a quick lunch or simple dinner. The best part is their range of menu, from pizzas and stromboli, wraps, salads, pasta, appetizers, etc. Also nice to pick up to go.
I ordered online and the delivery took a hour and a half. Which seemed like forever. No big deal there is a pandemic going on after all. When i didnt get my food. The fried shrimp is definitely frozen shrimp they just refried. Not fresh and no seasoning. I ordered the supreme calzone aswell and i have had better hot pockets. The bottom was saggy the meat was subpar and they put tomatoe sauce in the calzone. Who dpes that. Over all unsatisfied this the food.

Ordered chicken wings and asked for them to be extra crispy. I was surprised they were delivered so quickly. They were not done extra crispy, they were slimy and stringy and I could not eat them. A few actually had rubbery stringy things inside. 😯 So disappointed as I had not eaten all day. Wont try this place again. Wish I could post a picture.
INCREDIBLY disappointed. Just moved to the area... first time we ordered from them one of the pizzas was wrong. This time? We ordered three meals by delivery... only got two. The delivery guy forgot to give us my husbands meal and left. We called immediately to let them know and were told we could either have a refund or wait til he brought the meal back. My husband was starving and asked for the food, but by the time it got back here (over an hour and a half after ordering) it was cold and gross. On top of that my husband is now sick in the bathroom from the food! Seriously regretting not taking the refund now. Never ordering from here again.
I am in town for fun. I ordered a large stromboli, childrens popcorn chicken and fries and 2 slices of pizza. When I got it back to the hotel it was so much food we couldnt even make a dent in it. The kids size was large enough for 3 kids. The stromboli was best I have ever had. Excellent.
I do like their food. The problem is that they wont honor their prices. 2 times I was charged full price after ordering one of the specials listed online (the 24.99 1-topping pizza plus wings - fyi, Dinos has a similar but even cheaper special), even though it says right on the page that the prices are honored if mentioned. The last time I called in one of these orders, I was told that those specials dont exist anymore. I asked if there were any other good specials and was told no. They need to update their website if the specials do not exist.
Worst pizza place Ive ever had the displeasure of conducting business with. The pizza itself is good however the service awful. Ordered 3 items, 2 hours later order shows up at the wrong building and the driver left it with someone that didnt even order, not to mention the driver never contacted me the order was here. I was less than 5 miles from the shop and it took 2 hours to receive. Went and got the order from the wrong building after calling the shop multiple times and it was missing a calzone. Its a shame to have service as bad as what these guys have. We are very displeased and will not be returning our business here. I had to call the shop 4 times to ask where our food was and after receiving it missing items, I called back and the girl on the phone was making all kinds of excuses to try and pass the blame on me. I dont usually post any reviews but the experience when I order here is the same result everytime and they really need to do something about it. I left clear, precise and simple delivery instructions that went largely ignored. Its the first time Ive had a delivery leave the food with just anyone without first contacting the buyer via telephone, good thing it was an honest person. Guiseppies shape up and take control of your shop.

Messed up order from last time.....so free pizza. Call to order and make up for it. Ordered again our free pizza small white half broccoli half pepperoni. Also ordered small regular pizza with pepperoni and sausage. Delivery 45 minutes...... 2 hours later we get small cheese, and white with sausage and pepperoni wish I could share the pics. Cheese pizza burned 3 slices not even cheese on it. White pizza only items in the center about equal to a cup.....all crust. along with both being cold and charged $13 for small 2 item pizza. SERIOUSLY BEYOND FRUSTRATED. Used to be one of my favorite places.....these last 2 experiences has ruined it.
First time having Guiseppes and I was told it was a great place for lunch. My order was cold and barely edible at that point. Over an hour to wait for bad cold food and calling to complain and was told the delivery could come back for it. Waited over an hour and a half and they wanted me to wait while they brought new food back. Wont ever go back.

Never ordering here again. Food is normally good. Delivery driver was courteous and admitted he forgot items, not a problem. However, after the second delivery attempt the order was still wrong. Calzone had the wrong ingredients, item was not delivered, received two of another item. Called to clarify and the staff was extremely rude, the cook demanding my order was correct, and then claimed I hung up on them. As I ordered through an app the phone call was via a third party and was not dropped. Refused to refund the incorrect calzone, missing ingredients I paid extra for.
Wish I could give this rating zero stars because that’s how terrible the food and service was. My husband and I ordered delivery, and was told it would be there in 40 minutes. It was an hour before the delivery finally arrived (and I know exactly what time we ordered because of the time stamp on my call log). We opened our pizza box, and all of the cheese had slid over to one side, and the pie was hardly even sliced. Husband called and asked to speak with the manager (Omar), who was INCREDIBLY RUDE. He told us not to eat any of the pizza and they would send out a New Pizza and take back the old one. My husband said we would not be doing that because we had already waited an hour and were hungry, but would like either a refund on the pie or a new one brought. (It should noted that we had also ordered wings and pizza logs and had no issue with those, and the pizza we are talking about was a SMALL pie, so not a huge dollar amount). The manager argued with him and accused him of just “trying to get more food out of him,” and hung up on my husband. My husband called back and asked to speak with him again. This happened two more times with the manager arguing and hanging up. So my husband took the pie and brought it back to the shop. The manager then tried to deny that he was the one he’d spoken with, saying it was actually the delivery guy. My husband asked the waitress if he was the manager he had spoken with, and she confirmed it was. He then CONTINUED to argue with my husband about getting a refund, when we BROUGHT THE DELIVERY BACK. Finally, we got our money back for the pie. What kind of customer service is that?! We will never eat here again. He made the owner and business look terrible.
Pizza slices were somewhere around $2 a slice. They were a good sized portion and were probably the best that Ive had in Plattsburgh so far. Others had salads and stated that they were fantastic as well. Highly recommend.
Watched who I believe was the owner drop food and put it in delivery box. No gloves no mask during COVID left with out purchase

Stopped in yesterday with my nephew he needed a toilet . Then decided he wanted pizza. I was not left disappointed! It taste sooo good. It was delish! Staff was great and friendly with the 5yo who wanted to ask for box himself and ranch.
Food is well made, portions are large! Prices are more than fair. I highly recommend this place. My only qualm is the wings, Ive only had the wings twice but both times they were over cooked and dry. If you like crispy wings, this place is for you. However the rest of the food is spot on.
Ordered a meal for delivery at 1:21, the food did not get here untill 2:45, and it was ice cold, and not even the normal portions that you normally get, $29 for cold soggy food. I called to complain about the food, and all I was told was that it is the normal size... I order there all the time, and it is about 1/3 the size you normally get for fries. I told the manager this, and he told me I must have just been lucky every single other time that I ordered. I informed him that the food we ordered was ice cold, and he said I can send the driver back to get it then It took an hour and 20 minutes for a 45 minute delivery, I dont care if the food was horrible I was just hungry, I didnt even want anything from the Manager, besides for him to acknowledge the issue. I order from here all of the time, all I wanted was to inform him that it was not correct and was cold. He was very rude, and it seemed like I was bothering him, and he didnt want to help. I will not be going back for a very long time, this is not how you should treat customers!
I bought my last slice from this store today. What once was NY style, thin crust is now dough, dough, dough...souch dough. Still has the best sauce but it is overpowered by the.... thick crust.
Staff was very friendly. Food was prepared well. Portions were huge, made fresh. The Grandchildren were very satisfied.
We have ordered from them quite a few times. Recently we have had issues with late delivery cold pizza one time. The owner was supposed to call us and never did. The last time they showed uu with only part of our order. My friend called and stated they could do nothing for us. They then hung up on us. We tried calling back and got hung up on multiple times.
All I ever get is cheese pizza. Im like a 9 year old. If youre a cheese pizza lover, this is some of the best. Lets not forget the prices. A large for $11.25?!!! I live in Vermont and for the same size cheese pie youll be out almost $20 wherever you go. Fortunately for me Im in the Burgh every other week.

My wife went here today, 8-2018-October, for a pizza. Two employees refused to wash their hands or wear gloves during preparation. Some extra ingredients not used were put back in for other customers to get. Ummm... yummy. She complained and all they did was laugh at her in the back while she patiently waited. After they boxed it, she refused it and walked out. She is....was ... a regular customer. No more. She is a home health care professional. This is a serious health violation and this will be turned into the health department in Plattsburgh.
This is not the first time, but it is the last. Order $27 of food and they got the order wrong. Absolutely horrible customer service. Inept idiots. Can not even make an order correctly. The workers must be high. Sad true about todays youth. Can not even work at pizza delivery shops. Do not waste your money here go somewhere else..
Love the white pizza we ordered previously. So we decided to order again but ordered the Nachos. Very disappointing! Nacho cheese sauce was lathered all over it making very soggy. The cheese sauce was not part of the description on the menu we saw online. ☹️

Personally, its my favorite pizza. My sons favorite too. Im not really sure about anything else on the menu, but the pizza is delicious! They use the Slice app which makes ordering very easy, so thats a plus.
Ive always been pleased with the food & the service. If something is wrong they will correct it. Not sure that I care for the slice online ordering. I prefer local businesses & hope calling in the order makes them more money.
Waitress forgot us with only three other customers in the place. She was too concerned with friends. The meatball sub was uncooked and gross. We will never return. The waitress should pick up her feet when she walks

Absolutely terrible. Waited 45 minutes for a Greek calzone and some mozz sticks. The wait wasnt the problem, as they told me it would be about 45 minutes. The problem was that when the food got here, the calzone was cold, but the mozz sticks were piping hot. Im guessing they cooked the calzone first and then just let it sit there while they cooked everything else. So I called and asked for the manager/owner. A guy with a deep voice gets on and ARGUES with me about the calzone temperature. I asked him if he wanted me to stick a thermometer in it and take a picture for him. All he wanted to do was argue and basically told me that Im lying and he doesnt believe me. After finding no resolution and literally arguing with him on the phone, I told him I guess Ill have to take my business elsewhere from now on. He said thats fine and hung up.Pretty sad when a business would rather lose a customer than replace/refund a $10 calzone. Not smart considering I used to spend around $30/week there. Oh well.
Every time we go to order from this place within a half hour to twenty minutes of closing they will not take my order. This included tonight, a Saturday night. It states that they close at 12 every Saturday. They are continuelously changing their hours. This is the second time of this happening. I recommend going elsewhere if you want to be satisfied.

Food and atmosphere just ok nothing special, not very fast service either food is made to order, but not worth the amount of time we waited I had the burger frozen disk with stale bun, lettuce and tomato from salad seemed like, had to ask for more mayo. Poutin was not bad could have used more gravy

I called and the person who answered when I called back was really rude and called me back to ask a question and then once I answered them abruptly said goodbye and hung up on me. I have worked in the food industry for a very long time and this was so disappointing. You dont treat a paying customer with such disrespect when you messed up. After a 9 hour drive we wanted pizza, but had to wait an additional 30 minutes the expected. I addressed it to the guy and he got nasty with me. And it was very expensive for what we got. I want my 30 mins back!

2022-03-13The food was delicious, hot, plentiful and quick in arriving to our table. Photos are of a LARGE meat lovers Stromboli and a medium pepperoni calzone. Neither were lacking in fillings (love the amount of ricotta in the calzone!) and are large enough for a family or several left over meals. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Several specials enhanced their extensive menu.

The team members of Giuseppes go above and beyond to make sure everything is to my liking! Numerous visits to the table to make sure everything is ok! 2021-09-18If you had asked me 1 day ago I would have given them 5 stars. I loved going here. Today I ordered food through the slice app which I have used many times before. I didn’t get my food. When I called they told me where they brought the food and it was the incorrect address, they went to a road with the same name in a different zip code. The girl on the phone told me that it was my fault for not answering my phone and if I wanted the food still it would be over an hour and a half before they would get it to me (I had already been waiting 2 hours). I asked for a refund and she said “fine” and hung up on me. When I got my “refund” I got $29 of the $74 I sent. I called again and they said since they tried to deliver they were not refunding me more then half. I finally said I wasn’t paying $45 for food I never received and a phone call that left me so upset. As I said I use to love Giuseppe’s and was made to feel like I was to blame for them going to the wrong address. It felt awful. After calling again the app said they would refund me because when they called Giuseppe’s the girl on the phone told them it was “my fault” for giving them the wrong address (I did not I’ve had them deliver to my home many times before). I never leave bad reviews ever I am just so upset and can’t believe a restaurant would try and change me $45 for food I never got. It is just unacceptable. I am thoroughly disappointed that I won’t be eating at Giuseppe’s’s anymore.

2022-04-24Giuseppes will always be my favorite pizza place in Plattsburgh and the Champlain valley. Love their white pizza and calzones.Today I had a pepperoni calzone. Excellent as always.

2021-11-22Went there to eat last night and all me and my husband could hear was the manager scolding the waitresses. Not to mention my food was terrible do not get the calzones. Dough was raw I even called in this morning

2021-09-09Im not sure if my interview about this place would be considered accurate but it is of my own opinion. I like coming here I also like talking to the owner of this Pizzeria. This is just one of the few places in Plattsburgh that I like to eat at. Good food and good atmosphere.

2021-04-26I ordered pick up and the lady that talked to me tonight was very rude when I answered. I ordered everything and she was rushing me I literally had 4 things ordered and that was it. Than she was rude about how many wings were in 1 container and took the order or 10 of each kinds of wings. The bread sticks were great,the pizzas were sloppy and they didnt even give my boyfriend our wings when he went to pick it up.
