This company came to the rescue when we unexpectedly had a bedroom window break. From the first phone call to picking up the window, the customer service was excellent. Lauren answered all my questions and was able to set everything up for me so easily! She even took the broken window out of my vehicle for me and brought the fixed window back out to my vehicle! I truly appreciated this since both my hands were injured from the glass breaking. It’s customer service like this that you hardly see anymore but it definitely doesn’t go unnoticed. I believe Ted actually fixed our window and even though that was all behind the scenes, he did an excellent job. I would absolutely recommend this company to others and will use them again, if needed!
Friendly staff, clean office, appointment set up in a timely manner, and service time as quick as would be allowed which an hour and 15 minutes is very good in my book. And yes I would definitely come back if I needed anything else having to do with glass. Thanks again for a great job
These older Porsches are not the easiest cars to have glass installed, especially the rear with the wires for the defogger. It was obvious they knew what to do and did it in a timely fashion. Thanks for a great job. Mike Evans

The People @ Glass Doctor were EXCELLENT TO WORK WITH, Especially, Lauren, Who Answered all my Questions & Very Pleasant to Work With! Gave me a Senior Discount, Which was Definitely a Plus. I applied for an online quote. Received the automatic email response right away. I saw a lot of good reviews so I was optimistic. Its been 3 full days and have not had a single response. So I will be contacting Safelite. I had a quote in minutes with them.Heres an update. I was contacted by Aaron the owner. After Aaron did some more digging he found my request for quote at the corporate office. We talked an came to an agreement. He and his staff were polite and courteous. Gabby and Matt the tech were great to work with. Matt had my windshield installed in about an hour. He was neat, efficient and cleaned up afterwards. I would call on this company again if the need arises. Thank you again all.
We had a frameless shower enclosure installed. Pricing seemed fair and the owner came out for the measurements and discussed options with us. When installation came around the technicians were clean and knowledgeable. No issues

Our florida room custom windows were very cloudy and required replacement. Ted and Shon came over to quote the job. The frames had rotted from water seepage and needed repair. The triple pane windows were ordered quickly. When they came in Show worked his magic repairing all of the frames and installing all of the new windows. The job was professionally done. My entire experience with this company was amazing. Someone busted a window on my truck the weekend before Christmas and I was in a bind to get it fixed. I had a hole in a pane of a double window, Glass Doctor ordered a new pice of glass and installed it from their van, right on the street in front of my house. Their service from start to finish was swiftly responsive and most cordial. Highest recommendation!

Vandals broke a window at our office building. These guys came the next day, measured, and ordered a new piece of glass. As soon as the glass came in from the manufacturer they stopped and installed it. They were very professional, safe, and cleaned up after themselves. We were vary happy with the experience.

It took a long time to get our RV window replaced. The Glass Doctor followed through even changing vendors in order to complete the job quicker than the previous vendor. Kept in contact regularly and responded well to any inquiries.
Waited a week for a install on the day of install they lost my deposit supposedly and told me they weren’t coming to do the job jt auto glass came to the rescue and did it $75 cheaper I do not recommend this place at all
Great place to get your windshield replaced. I did one windshield through insurance and was so happy, I did the other out of pocket. Pricing was excellent and service was top notch. I needed a *huge* picture window for my house installed in a fairly short time frame, as I was selling my house and the photographer was coming on a specific day at a specific time (and then I was headed to Seattle). I spoke with Aaron and he was able to rush production at Syracuse Glass so that the window could be produced and installed on time. The window was put in right as the photographer arrived, which was cutting it scarily close but Aaron came through for me! Great company, excellent results, and accommodating to an accelerated timeline.
Had to get my windshield replaced because of crack in it. From step 1 all the way through the finished job, Katie was wonderful to deal with at the Thompson rd. location. Even after we had to deal with Burdick Nissan and their incompetency, Katie was very professional and made the process very easy. Highly recommend.
An employee named Evan replaced my windshield he was super nice and very helpful. I didnt know I had a rain sensor on my windshield and he actually had to go back to get the correct windshield and completed the repair the same day. He didnt give me any attitude for the inconvenience, which was 100% my fault. Also the receptionist Gabby was really sweet and helpful as well. Would definitely recommend this company. Ted did a terrific job repairing 3 windows in our very old house. The company was easy to work with. The job was completed on the agreed upon date, and when he was finished everything was very neat. And we were pleasantly pleased by the cost of the job.
I needed the rear window replaced on a DeLorean. I bought a NOS window and Glass Doctors had no problem installing it. Scheduling was a breeze, the two technicians came to my garage and were completely professional. The quality of work was excellent and pricing was fair. Strongly recommend
The women I spoke with got us in at the last minute and we were so appreciative. Matt the technician came to our house and repaired the window with speed and accuracy. We cancelled our reservation with Safelight originally because they weren’t available for a few days but glad we did for that and for the quality customer service that Glass Doctor provided. 10/10.
The replacement of my windshield went smooth and timely. Tech did a super job of repasting all my stickers including oil change and EasyPass stickers. He did a super job and all staff extremely helpful and made my visit a very positive experience. Due to someone smashing my window out I had to repair my window. They were very respectable and very time efficient. Even helped me get a hold of my car insurance to push the repair. Katie was wonderful and helped me out quite a deal. I will definitely be coming back for any glass repair needed.

I was very impressed with the Glass Doctors service. Once contacted by my insurance company, the GD representative called me immediately and I had an appointment set up for windshield replacement 2 days later. They performed the replacement in 2-3 hours and the car was back in my hands. Very efficient and competent company.
EXCELLENT Service!!! Did not even have an appointment but dropped my company vehicle off for new windshield. Said they would do there best but might be a day or 2. Called me back within 2 hours and said it was ready. Unbelievable!! Highly recommended.

UPDATE: Im keeping my previous review listed below as a reference point, but have felt the need to update my review based on recent events.I received two follow up calls from Glass Doctor, one I believe from the receptionist (Katie I think?) and one from the owner himself (Aaron). While Im still apprehensive based on my last experience (see below), I must say that having the owner call me personally to not only apologize, but own up to the actions of his business, as well as promise to not let it happen in the future, was more than enough to have me keep them in consideration for future business.Ill be clear, the service itself was well done and priced competitively, my main concerns were with try staffs apparent lack of concern for public safety as presented below. But, a small business owner taking the time to call an individual customer and not simply make excuses can be a rare thing these days, and Aarons honest tone and candor really made an impression on me.Now, in the future, if this were to happen the next time I bring my business to them, I would not hesitate to cancel any business with them. But Aarons actions and attitude really spoke to me, and I understand that an owner can not be in full control of his employees actions at all times. While this experience may have cast some doubt upon them, I believe that they overall still run a decent business, and if Aaron stays true to his word and these issues are fixed going forward, I will not hesitate to continue to bring them my business.PREVIOUS REVIEW:Changing my review based on my latest experience with them. Service previously was great. However, the last time I went there I was very disappointed with them.First off, when I went in to drop off my vehicle, I noticed that while there were several signs about them embracing safety procedures during the pandemic (such as requiring masks, extra sanitizing procedures, etc), not one single person in the building was wearing a mask. With at least 4 employees in sight no less. No protective shields or barriers. No one moved to put one on when I came inside.Second of all, later in the day AFTER I DROPPED MY CAR OFF, I got a call from them asking me if I was going to bring my car in. This gave me quite the scare, making me think either I dropped it off at the wrong place, or somehow they lost this. After some time we talked through the issue and resolved it, and they just had a clerical error. Still, when a company doesnt realize they already have a customers car, when said customer dropped it off in person, it doesnt exactly establish an attitude of trust.Considering the companys hypocritical and irresponsible behavior, I can no longer recommend them, and wont be coming back.

I just had my windshield replaced and the car recalibrated. The service was excellent. I was able to actually see part of the complicated calibration process. The owner, Aaron, explained the process to me and reviewed everything that was completed after the test drive. Katie at the front desk was very personable and made sure I was comfortable. She even turned on the TV to my favorite morning shows. She also offered me coffee and cookies! I highly recommend this company to anyone that needs any kind of glass repaired/replaced. They are very professional, congenial, and efficient. A perfect 10 in my book!
Glass Doctor handled the entire process of getting my windshield replaced perfectly. They got the approval from the insurance company, ordered the OME scheduled a convenient time to drop off my car for their techs to do the actual replacement and they completed the job expertly and timely. The windshield looks like it did when my car was brand new!
We used glass doctor to replace a broken pane of glass in one of our window units. There service was far less expensive than replacing the whole window which made the decision to go with their team a no brainer. Shon and Fred were our service technicians and they were very polite, effective and most of all quiet. As the owner, Aaron was very involved in may aspects of the fix and that gave me a lot of piece of mind. I recommend to anyone that needs a window to be fixed to start with Glass Doctor. We hired the glass Doctor to replace all the seals on our shower door and cubicle.The first go around was not successful but they quickly came back and fixed it without any problem or arguments. Very professional and nice people to deal with and will use them again.

They did a really nice job replacing my windshield, and the tech was friendly and professional. They came to me as I couldn’t drive anywhere and it was done being installed in about an hour. I had contacted them afterwards because something was wrong with my vehicle after the windshield was installed. They immediately offered to pay for my gas to get there, (as I wasn’t from the Syracuse area) and look over the vehicle again to make sure they didn’t do anything wrong on their end. I ended up finding out it wasn’t something they did wrong and never called them back to follow up. My bad. But their customer service was very good, and I would highly recommend the glass doctors for you automobile window replacement needs.
The woman at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. Even offered to drive me up the road to the diner while I waited ! My windshield was installed in under 2 hours and was the cheapest I’ve ever been charged for a windshield replacement.Waiting area is clean and comfortable and they also offer refreshments such as water and coffee. My day today was just okay until I walked in and was greeted by the most genuine and friendly Kathleen at the front desk. She was the same in person as on the phone. I was originally quoted a time of 430 pm until they would be done with my vehicle and was even referred to a great pizza place during my wait. When I returned at 330 my car was ready! Very efficient service, Great Price for a front windshield. The best part about the service was when Zach and Ted noticed my wipers looked broken and went above and beyond my initial service to tighten the crews when I actually thought it would have to be replaced in order to get my car inspected. This not only made my day but it also saved me a nice amount of money. I just want the owners to know that they have some valuable personnel at Auto Glass Experts and I would recommend anyone who needs glass service to see them first! Very grateful to write this review for such a fine and organized business as this!

You wont regret going here! Im not from the Syracuse area but after my passenger car window was shattered due to a break-in, I tried my luck and google searched glass services near me. This shop was the first to pop up and the nicest lady answered the phone, and even waited past their operating hours for me to get there and drop my car off to be serviced. The work was done in less than 24 hours and I got my car back looking brand new again! Amazing service & extremely helpful. An unexpected lacrosse ball through a neighbors window brought me to needing to look for glass repair ASAP. They helped me figure out popping the window out & I brought right over to the shop. They fixed it quickly & for a very reasonable price.
Faced with the prospect of replacing our patio door ($7k+), due to a leak in the seal of one panel, we contacted the Glass Doctor who replaced just the damaged panel saving us over 80%. The new panel blended seamlessly with the existing fixture and we couldn’t be happier.
I noticed the rubber of my front wiper blade was coming loose so I pulled in to Glass Doctor hoping they could help. Not only did they have new wiper blades but the owner came outside and swapped them out for me. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful as well. Every person who worked there said hello. It is such a nice, welcoming place to be and I will certainly go back for any and all of my glass needs. Took my car in for a front windshield repair. They got got me in really fast. Everyone was super friendly there. I got free coffee or water if I wanted some. My car was in the shop for maybe an hour and a half. Now this is winter time so the car had to be heated up. For the glue to stick up for the windshield to stick better. I would say these people know what they are doing. So I say 4 stars for this shop!!

My Pup broke our back passenger side automatic window. Auto glass experts in Syracuse were able to get me right in for an appointment! Turned out that we also needed a mechanical piece that wasn’t available as it was a special product. They had it ordered that day and able to get me right back in to have that fixed too! Everyone was incredibly kind, the tech was so knowledgeable, they all clearly take pride in their work!! Customer service was wonderful and we are so happy with our window! We had a power slider back glass in our 2017 Ram 2500 break. Of course we would pick our own shop for replacement. Evan and Ted did the repairs and did an excellent job on the replacement back glass.
I moved to Syracuse about two months ago. Not even a week passed when I found that my neighbor’s kids broke my back window. Having just graduated from college, unfamiliar with the area, and not knowing a thing about cars, I found Auto Glass Experts because of all the positive reviews. They had exactly what I needed and the service was great! Very professional and done in a timely manner. They even cleared all the broken glass out of my trunk! Everyone was very friendly. Hopefully I won’t have to go back for a broken window, but they’ll definitely be my first call!

Excellent customer service and installation workmanship from Glass Doctor in Syracuse, NY. I had two window panes that lost their seals, resulting in foggy, unsightly windows. Good experience with glass Dr installers. They came out to the house, very corteous, explained the process, did there magic, cleaned up all the broken glass, explained what I should and shouldnt do for the next couple of days. We bought a new home last year and the shower door hinge would make a cringe-worthy *POP* every time we used it. I cant believe I dealt with that for a year, especially how easy it was to work with Aaron (and Shon) at Glass Doctor. I called, exchanged some texts/pics, and they came out right away. Fix was fast and on the low end of my expectation. They even cleaned my glass door with their sweet cleaner and left me the rest of the can. Had a crack in a house window. Many others were recommending ways to repair that would take weeks (with the window being boarded up during that time!). Glass Doctor promptly scheduled an appointment via the best way for me to communicate (text message!). Shon Goodwin was the tech from Glass Doctor - he arrived on-time, was courteous, professional and quickly came up with a solution that did not involve boarding up my window! Long time in the neighborhood, I was a new walkup customer today with a broken car window motor. They are the bright and clean store right on the NW corner of Taft and Thompson.Its a new neighborhood business making a good go of it, so I thought we should try em out.First thing youll see is a spotless store, freshly paved lot and a friendly staff. That put me right at ease.Today, the other neighborhood shops report a 3-week turnaround time due the winter schedule. Not Here. Here the mechanic knew what to do at a glance and, as it turns out, was spot on.A 2 hour fix, barely enough time to grab a haircut next door at Mr. Cs.One nice touch was that a) the owner was on-site AND b) came out to personally greet each of the customers.Not sure if the waiting room has Wifi service but does have coffee, youll have to ask about that.Pro Tip: Do drop the car off overnight as store has no mandatory drop-off times or parking fees.Tip: When using UBER or LYFT, locate the store by Name rather than by pindrop address. The pindrop auto-selects on the address of the cabinet maker two doors down.

They replaced a window for my house. There were some misunderstandings, but they were very quick to remedy these. In the end they did a great job and I would use them again.
UPDATE: Hours on google are fixed. Thanks for clarifying about leaving a message. ---They did a good job. I havent had any issues with my new windshield, and they were friendly and professional. Took a star because of confusion caused by INCORRECT HOURS on their Google info and their website, which both day 24 hours for Sunday, and some hours on Saturday. So, I tried calling a number of times, but their was no answer. When I finally spoke to someone on Monday, they had seen that I had called, and when I asked why they werent available Sunday, the response was because it was the weekend. Their ACTUAL HOURS: M-F 8:00-4:30.
We needed a new plexiglass for our butcher block counter. Was great and timely! Fixed the small error in the glass quickly and without charge.

I had a window that needed new double pane glass and instead of having to buy new window I was able to have glass done. It looks great. In addition I had a small metal piece that broke off a window, and they researched it and found one for me.

I called all over town to get quoted to install Window in my minivan. These guysbwere most expensive. Everywere else eas 80$. They charged me 120$.They were able to get 1 hour of work dpne in 5. They had to call me to shop because ecpert could figire out how to make power window mechanism work. Then after all that they killed the battery. Then i was handed a receipt for 92 plus dollars for job that cost 120. When i questioned it she adjusyed reviept to show 120. Really..

I do not suggest using this company. They lack customer service skills and courtesy. I was supposed to have my car repaired between 12 and 4pm. They never called and did not show. When I called the manager he stated that his driver told him it was raining and they wouldnt be able to do the job that day. I explained it hadnt been raining for a few hours and wasnt supposed to rain anymore. He stated it was in North Syracuse at the moment and he believed his driver. I was in Fayetteville. Again it hadnt been raining, as a matter of fact was sunny. I asked when they would fix it he said (very rudely) the next day weather permitting!. REALLY! My point is I was never told it would depend on the weather and secondly I never received a call stating they wouldnt be coming that day. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, AS I CAN ONLY IMAGINE THE JOB THEY WOULD HAVE DONE.
Window did not need to be replaced and they were upfront and honest. Will definitely use them when replacements are needed.

I had stone ir rock hit my windshield on my way home from work I called couple of other places one wasnt open one had automated scheduler, so I found the glass doctor they would have been closing when I got there, he stayed open and helped me wade thru the insurance and appoint was set up for next day.

2022-06-16Glass Doctors made renovating much easier. Every step of the way, 100% responsive and professional. You start the process on their web site by submitting info and get a good idea of what it will cost. Off to a great start. Everyone who came to our home clearly knew what they were doing. When Loren calls to set up an appointment, it happens. Shon, Justin and Russ were all great. After they installed the glass surround, THEY pointed out a small scratch that I likely wouldnt have found for weeks (if ever). They wanted to have it replaced, and did. Well use this company in the future for any glass issues.

2022-01-15My experience with the folks at the shop was enjoyable. Everyone was very kind and extremely friendly. I definitely will be sending family and friends there to enjoy the great service that i enjoyed..Other shops had told me that my windshield replacement was not possible because of some rust on the metal above the glass, the folks at Glass Doctor told me it would be no problem. Everything worked out Better than I anticipated..Thanks to everyone at the shop for a job well done, and a special thank you to Gabby for listening to my personal issues and wishing me well in the days to come.

2022-04-28Had to replace the stationary side of my sliding door and they worked with me on the price to make it affordable. I was kept up to date all through the process from measuring to installing. Installers arrived on time and worked diligently on what turned out to be a very stubborn window, and they remained positive and professional the whole time. It looks great! Lauren in the office was also a pleasure to work with. I am so glad I went with Glass Doctor of Syracuse.

I had a small issue with the windshield install, and the owner Aaron made sure issue was resolved, he contacted me directly t ensure that issue will get resolved within timely manner . 2022-04-01While watering my plants I noticed a crack in my large double paned picture window. I actually called another local glass repair shop and was told they only do commercial service. They recommended The Glass Doctor and I am so happy they did! Not only was the response immediate, but the service was beyond compare. What I expected to be astronomically expensive and forever and a day long turned out to be very very affordable and a very short two weeks from start to finish! After everything taking forever and being outrageously priced with all the Covid delays, I was very pleasantly surprised. I almost thought it was a mistake! But no! I have a new picture window and it barely made a dent in my pocket! I highly recommend The Glass Doctor for all of your glass needs!

2022-05-23We accidentally broke one of the panes in a double pane sash in our family room. I brought the sash to them and they were able to order a replacement unit and repair the sash perfectly. Very courteous and professional and I was very happy with the results. Would highly recommend glass doctor.
