My boyfriend absolutely loved the donuts and said he would come back to Beacon just for the donuts jajaja! You can control how sweet or loaded you want your donut to be, and even the naked donuts are so good! Be aware these donuts are on the smaller side but still affordable for the customization you get.
Making the last minute decision for to add doughnuts to the wedding along with our cake was one of the best decisions we could of made. Glazed Over made this happen effortlessly and was so easy to work with catering thanks to Lisa & Vincent . We wanted a random assortment and all our wedding guests loved every single flavor. There wasnt one left! Whether looking to have a little something sweet or in Beacon for a day and want to try something new....definitely stop by Glazed Over. This is donut heaven …the donuts are to die for. Freshly made and simply amazing. I have been here few times…. the staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to help you with the orders. If you are in the area, get your dozen donuts. Every donut flavor is amazing and the best part is you get to make your combination of flavors…. Our favorite is strawberry 🍓 glaze with pebbles topping and marshmallow drizzle … it’s heavenly 🍩

In 2022, its really not hard to find photogenic food - there are businesses now with the sole purpose of creating edible social media content. You know whats not as common though? Places where the service and price point are just as noteworthy as the visually appealing menu items, and thats happily the case here.My Millennial Chum and I stopped by on Sunday at the end of a splendid Beacon adventure. I had a good feeling when we walked up and saw a bearded gentleman at a table outside wearing a fedora - if the hipsters have given their blessing, that ups my comfort level considerably.We were greeted by a manager almost immediately upon entry, who gave us a quick primer on the ordering process. It was pretty easy (you select options from three categories - donut flavor, glaze flavor and a topping, give them your name and wait for scrumptiousness to arrive) and both of us agreed that putting your specific order in writing for the employees dramatically increases the chances that its going to be prepared correctly. The donuts are made to order on the spot based on your preferences, and my donut literally came out about a minute later. It probably takes 30 seconds longer than some guy at Dunkin Donuts grabbing a stale donut from the rack, and Im certainly willing to tough out that extra half minute.I ordered a strawberry donut with strawberry glaze and Fruity Pebbles topping. Just heavenly - tasted amazing, and it was ridiculously fresh. Theres a lot to criticize in the world in 2022, but societys warm embrace of Fruity Pebbles in basically any eating situation is a real selling point. Even more mindboggling to me is that the price of the donut was about $2.50 - if we were closer to NYC they could get away with charging twice that if not more.Absolutely worth a stop if youre in the area. When are the hipsters ever wrong about food?
Glazed Over Donuts is amazing! Their menu allows for seemingly endless combinations of flavors, and theyre always willing to help out with recommendations. The donuts themselves are delicious and made to order, but even when the line was out the door, my wait has never been longer than 5-10 minutes from placing my order. You can also watch the donuts being made which is really neat! The donuts are very reasonably priced despite the customization options. The staff is lovely, and the establishment is very clean. I come here every weekend, and always leave happy. Thank you!

I have officially decided that I am glazed over donuts’ biggest fan. I don’t even like donuts, okay? I think they’re the subpar menu item - is it breakfast or is it dessert? But holy cow!! These are made fresh in front of your eyes, customizable literally any way you want, and SO worth the price. I’m not super big on chocolate so I got a lemon glaze, almond, and raspberry drizzle & a sugar glaze w/ cinnamon sugar. And get this - these were $3.95, for BOTH! If you’re anywhere near Beacon, you HAVE to check this place out.

Trendy little donut shop on main st in Beacon. The decor was nice. I ordered a glazed donut with graham crackers and was delicious. Staff was very friendly. There is a nice little outdoor searing area which is perfect to enjoy your donut and coffee.
The donuts are made to order so they are guaranteed to be fresh, there are literally thousands of combinations you can try, and Im pretty sure they will all be delicious. Its around $2 for a single donut but the more you buy the cheaper it gets ($18 for a dozen). So bring a friend or buy extra to take home!

So many choices!! And so fresh and delicious! I like that the donuts themselves are not too big. It is really fun to watch the donut-making in the back of the shop. All the staff is very friendly. I like to keep it simple despite all the choices. Served warm with a perfect glaze - lemon glaze is my go to, and a black coffee - heaven, especially on a cold day.

Yall I dont even have a picture. Thats how fast these donuts went down out gullets. I got a hazelnut dip with almonds and vanilla drizzle. WOW. Honestly so amazing and worth the very confusing line and order situation. The place is always packed and I can see why. Wish we had one in NYC but then again it would probably be impossible to get inside. 10/10 .Edit: my partner apparently managed to take a picture of these treats before he inhaled his so LOL
Great place! Highly recommend if youre in the area. Its worth every dollar and its so affordable (in comparison to NYC). The sundae was great! A hot donut on the bottom with a huge serving of vanilla ice cream on top with one topping and a drizzle for less than $6! It was delicious. Staff was friendly and cool too. Check it out!

Its called Glazed Over Donuts and let me tell you from the mouth of my 6 year old Best donut ever This is a spot right on Main St. in Beacon NY. They make the donuts 🍩 right there in house so all can see. You fill out the menu for your donut. They have every topping, glaze and drizzle you could imagine. You order and within a few minutes you have piping hot 🔥 fresh donuts. My daughter loved it. Its a nice awesome spot, so if youre in the area and want a real donut, then stop here you will not regret it.

These donuts are to die for! Each one is unique and made to order with the toppings and glaze of your choosing. Its a very exciting business model, because its hard to get the same donut twice with all the different options.
These doughnuts are so fresh, tender inside and a little crunch on the edge...magical. Not greasy! Made to order, fried in front of you, you choose the glaze, topping, and drizzle. Youre gonna want to get 2 for yourself, which is ok because theyre what I call a medium size (between mini & standard), but make no mistake...theyre worth the price, and I am value driven. Dont miss this shop! I know that I cant stop thinking about it, or when I can get there again. Enjoy!

Great price! Quaint atmosphere but not cluttered. You have at least 9 glazes 13 different toppings and 10 drizzles. You do the math! The possibilities are endless! Beacon is awesome! Take a stroll and hit up a few spots while youre at it! We had a quick in and out because they make them to order and it takes about 2 minutes. I can see what the hype is about, these donuts are seriously asthetically pleasing to the eyes. But to be honest after trying it I cant say i would crave it or go back. Its a nice one time experience but meh... The donuts are plain and then you add crazy toppings to them *womp, womp* I feel like I could do that at home, add cereal, maple syrup, honey, bacon etc to a plain donut. The donuts is light i have to say, and a little smaller then a regular size one which is good, because the amount of sugar packed onto it would give you immediate diabetes otherwise. I wish they had flavored donuts or even filled ones. I got a maple syrup glazed, capn crunch donut. And a chocolate frosted with pretzels. Friend got the bacon donut and a lemon glazed. It wasnt crowded. Paid $10.50 for 7 donuts so not a terrible price.

One of the most scrumptious donuts Ive ever had. An impeccable piece of art work that feels amazing in your mouth. Dont you dare go anywhere else. Also, they have a live, laugh, love birdhouse in the bathroom. Cant beat it. Boom.

The options available are fantastic. I do remember the doughnuts being bigger the last time I came however so I dropped a star. They taste very good but a bit pricey for the size. If they were bigger itll be worth coming more often, but since they seem to have shrunken hmm maybe more like a rare treat.

Basically, you grab a clipboard, at the counter, which has a piece of paper that has all the different options for the donut or donuts, you want. Starting from the base flavor, to the toppings. For example, one of mine was chocolate donut base with plain chocolate glaze. The other one had an option for peanut butter chips. You circle those options on the pre-printed menu. Put your name on top and hand it in and pay. They will call your name when ready, which is pretty fast. Grab a seat and sip with coffee, or, take it to go. Enjoy!

Absolutely in love! Delicious custom fresh donuts. Not only does the donuts taste great but you can also make yourself a coffee or tea to go with your donuts and sit inside or out in a great location. Saw a friend post about this place and when we came into town we had to try (We live 4 1/2 hours away) and it by far is better then any place weve ever been.
Just wow! This spot is amazing and unlike any other donut company. You can watch them make the donuts from a window and you get to create your own donut. They even come out warm! We were greeted immediately on entering and the menu/ordering was quickly explained. It wasnt too busy (early am Sunday). A couple minutes later, our custom donuts were ready. Be warned: they are very sweet (depending on menu choices). Pretty sure I may skip one or two components on next visit. Or even select a naked donut. A fun and tasty experience if you avoid overdoing the sugary options.

Wow, Wow, Wow, The most amazing donuts I have ever had. I mean you know when you want the donut to actually taste like it has been fried. With all that rich delicious flavor! Then all the toppings that they have to offer to create the perfect donut. Being a former Brooklyn resident for 20 years I was surrounded by many top quality bakeries. None off them ever made donuts this delicious. So now I live 30 a minutes drive from the these donuts and Im not bothered by it , there worth the drive. Caution, very busy on the weekends in the AM. Just order their delicious coffee and wait. You wont regret it.
Good experience. As you walk in through the door they give you a list. You pick your type of donut, one type of glaze, one type of toping, and one drizzle. They make it infront of you. So it tastes fresh and good. They are small but reasonably priced ($2.5 each). I would need two to satisfy my craving. I star less cause we felt the cashier at the register did not appear as welcoming. Ordered tea and he gave us a cup of hot water without directing us that we had to make from the tea station. I was about to walk a away with the cup of hot water thinking it is tea.

I have been missing doughnuts and have to admit to picking up a few Dunkin’ Donuts just to get some doughnuts, since I am avoiding going in to the city for my favorite doughnuts at the Doughnut Plant. Finding these doughnuts have been a redemption on my doughnut soul. These are warm freshly made and customizable. On weekends there is a crowd, but you can wait outside after ordering inside. I wish I could order remotely without having yo go in and just pick up.

This place is a unique treat for Beacon NY. I like the fact the doughnuts were baked fresh, but Im not the biggest cake doughnut fan. The toppings were plentiful with a crazy amount of options. My only complaint would be the toppings, while plentiful, are fairly generic. All of the jellies and chocolate drizzle are store bought, we noticed the Smuckers label on a majority of the topping options. That would be my only gripe, which could be easily fixed by pouring these into a nondescript pastry bag.
Stopped here (twice!) during a weekend stay in Beacon. Quite possibly the best donuts Ive ever had in my life. The space is relaxed/doesnt seem rushed and everyone working is super nice. Any combination you make is bound to be amazing.

The best donut place in Beacon and really anywhere within a 15 mile radius. They are also locally owned by people who have lived and worked in Beacon for many years and employ local high school students who need to work part time. They truly give back to the community and I will continue to support them and their delicious donuts for a long time. 😋

Cake donuts only, no raised (yeast) donuts. They cook the donuts to order, so you always get a fresh hot donut; but that means the glaze melts right off, which I really dont enjoy. For my taste, their glazes are way too sweet, and the donut smells/tastes very eggy. I really want to love this place, but Im always disappointed. But everyone else clearly LOVES this place, so Im definitely in the minority!

I really enjoy these fresh donuts. My kids do too. This was the first time that they have gone. Now that they have had them they keep trying to get me to go back.

It surprised me. I didn’t think it would be anything special but boy, was I wrong. The second I tasted it, the warmth, the flavor. It was DELICIOUS, like nothing I had ever tasted. We only wanted one donut, not looking for too much but I would recommend more. 👌🏻It was also a cool concept. Never thought to personalize my donut before. The menu is unique.

These are by far the best doughnuts ever! We bought two and went back to take home 6. They are served hot and are small but every bite was delicious.

I love donuts, so if Im going somewhere and hear theres a specialty donut shop, I have to go try it! These donuts were fresh and made to order. Served warm and the amount of combinations of topping is huge! The decor is nice and the staff was very friendly. These were some of the best donuts Ive ever had and I love that theyre not too huge, theyre the perfect size. Next time Im in Beacon, I will be back!

Nice little place. We had no idea how to order at first but an employee came over right away and explained how. All the the donuts are made fresh and served warm which makes them a little messy. Part of one of our donuts was sticking to the box and a lot of my Oreo topping fell right off. However they were still delicious which made everything OK.
Just go....you wont be disappointed. I texted my co-workers from inside and they were so excited I was coming in to work with them....

The donuts here are freshly made to order. Donuts just dont get better than these to be honest. With all the glazes, toppings and drizzles theres something for everyone. The combinations might be daunting and if thats the case, theres usually a daily special and a sample of it to try. If you like donuts, dont miss out and try this joint.

Pretty interesting place to order donuts! I def wasn’t expecting it to be a make-your-own donut shop. I am not super into having a bunch of glazes and toppings on my donut, but the one that I got was actually pretty good. It is definitely better than most places I’ve gotten donuts from. The only thing is I had hoped they had more donut types like a cake donut. In any case, it is def worth a visit!

When I first walked up to the counter, I was looking everywhere for donuts and thought maybe theyd run out since it was later in the day. Turns out each donut is made to order based on your specs (you get to choose glaze, topping and drizzle).I paid ~$5 for three donuts (In the city theyre sometimes $5 each)! These turned out to be the best Ive ever had. Even later that evening, the one I saved was still soft and delicious.HIGHLY RECOMMEND. And Ill surely be back.
Outstanding donuts. So maybe if I looked into this place more I would have known but they are frying donuts fresh with a pretty cool little automated machine that you can watch do it’s thing. The outside of the donut had a bit of a crispy outside. And then the point you can pick your toppings. Really A+

Glazed Over Donuts has a very unusual -- and very good -- approach to making their signature item. It is a custom donut place. I had never heard of this before I set foot in the store. Basically, you go in, select from a list of glazes, toppings, and drizzles, and, voilà, you get your donuts. Prepared on the spot. And its really good.

Ive done extensive donut tours all over the west coast (SD, LA, SF, Portland, Seattle) and I have to say Glazed Over Donuts is up there in my top 5. Why? Customizable with tons of options, but the donuts are so perfectly warm and the texture is just so right. Crispy crunch exterior and soft, warm interior. Definitely a must visit if youre in the area!

Really good doughnuts that have probably too many combinations of toppings, dips, and glazes....but thats why you go there. 1st responder and mil/vet friendly. If you order 6 or more they come with free shots of insulin. Only down side is that they wont let you lay under the donut machine and consume the donuts as they come off the conveyor.
Im not a big fan of donuts, but this place has home made freshly made absolutely delicious ones. Huge variety. I really enjoyed the maple glazed donut washed down with a black ice coffee with no sugar.

Warm, inviting atmosphere inside with some seating. During summer time, there is seating available outside. A great place to take guests that are visiting the area.

First time, great customer service, excellent donut! Donutes are customizable. They only have a cake donut (which is warm and crisp on the outside and soft on the inside), and you choose the toppings. The place has a nice cozy feel with pleanty of seating and extra outlets for laptops and phones if youd like to enjoy a coffee and donuts while you work. Well worth a stop, Ill be back to try another.
I don’t recommend glazed over. Their menu/clipboard ordering system was very confusing and hard to understand for first time customers like myself. The donut itself was very mediocre and tasted store bought. The glaze was unnaturally sticky and the pretzels used for the topping were stale. Overall a very unenjoyable experience. I should of sensed the place was no good when my Apple Pay got rejected by their card reader.

We are not huge donuts fans .... Glazed over Donuts (GOD) changed our minds. Made for great desert after walking from falls. Coffee was also excellent. Shop was very busy but staff well trained, friendly and happy to answer questions. Will be back. If line dont worry they move very quickly.
I donut know anyone who doesnt love donuts! Especially Glazed Over Donuts!I seriously love this place, donuts are made fresh to order every second of the day. You start off by getting a little notepad/sheet with your glaze, toppings, syrup etc. What u love about them is you’re able to sit there and watch them make your donut fresh ::: instant salivation begins :::They usually have their donut of the day recommendation to try and sample. You can get creative with your order and make it fun. The best part is they keep the menu simple and easy to order. That way you don’t end up with an overly toppinged (I know I just made up a new word) donut. The sizes are PERFECT if you want to share or try two (max). I always stick with one and take a bite out of my hubby’s donut. The price is great pretty cheap to get 2 fresh donuts for like $5. It’s the whole experience that makes it fun.The staff is always nice and accommodating. This place can get packed so sometimes it’s hard to just sit and eat your donut but you’re always welcome to take a little box to go and pack it home.My only complaint is I WIIIIISHHH they had longer hours. By longer I mean like if after dinner I have the craziest sweet tooth and I’m in desperate need of a donut, I wish they would be open then. It would be nice if they could soooooooometimes perhaps a Friday or Saturday night close at 9pm or something. I do know over the summer they’ve extended to 7pm on certain weekend days, so that’s highly appreciated.Anyways, kids love it, I love it everyone loves Glazed Over Donuts, they are just a-dough-rable!

On our trip to the Dia: Beacon last week we decided to tour the city a little and to our surprise this is seriously one of my favourite cities.While walking the main street we chanced across Glazed Over Donuts and what do you know? They allow you to create your own donut flavour/toppings. You know I was all over that.They have a pretty cool system where they give you a sheet and you circle the flavours and toppings etc so no mistakes happen. I ordered a peanut butter one and plain glaze with maple syrup. Besides being $1.25 a piece, these donuts were some of the best donuts Ive ever had. Im almost mortified that I spend $3 or more in Brooklyn for crappy bites.The donuts were fresh, soft, very flavourful and maybe even a little addictive. Staff is friendly, courteous and super helpful with decision making. Glad I dont live in Beacon or else Id be triple my weight but seriously, if youre passing Beacon and dont stop at Glazed Over Donuts youre missing out on everything!
Donuts are so amazingly delicious fresh out the fryer! The process is a little tedious if you are just looking for more regular options such as glazed, but theyre menu is expansive enough to customize a number of donuts with your choice of topping and glaze flavor. My favorite so far is just their naked donut with a lemon glaze.

Wow! Amazing concept to create your own donut. The naked donut is good on its own, however, I added some chocolate glaze on mine with some Oreo cookie crumbs with a vanilla drizzle --- it was AMAZING! the staff was great. I would recommend this establishment to anyone who loves donuts and has a sweet tooth (like me!)
If you want fresh made donuts from the fryer this is the place to go you dont even need to do all 3 toppings you can do just naked or a donut with cinnamon sugar and they taste like the most divine donuts in the world

This is my first time coming into this donut store. I had ordered the Ice Cream Donut Sandwich. The cost was around $4.25. The taste was just exquisite and delicious. And the chef had done his/her job. I hope that this business continues on with the right people at the right time.

It was really fun to create a donut here. Its not like other donut shops where you throw some fruity pebbles on a glazed donut. You pick and choose from different glazes, icings, toppings. I made a strawberry, coconut, marshmallow donut. Holey donuts, Batman it was delicious.
Awesome customizable donuts. This small donut shop is family run and has the feel and kindness that comes along with that. I had my wedding catered by them and they are very flexible and willing to work with you. Will definately make this a regular stop when in the beacon area.

I am not a donut person but anytime I am in the area. I really like that I get to choose my donut , icing , topping and glaze. Then they prepare it while you wait. If you are a donut lover or even if you are not and just like them once in awhile you must! Check out ant try glazed over .

2022-06-05Tasty donut spot with tons of flavors! Great place to “make your own” donut. Lots of toppings and sauces to choose from and friendly staff. It was a little complicated to figure out how to pick my donut extras but it was worth it for the doughy warm bites of a wonderful donut. Hope this helps!

Super fun cause you can customize your mini donuts ! They also have a donut of the day which you can pick as well. If you step over to the side you can see the workers behind the glass creating your delicious combos! Would recommend stopping in!

2022-06-02Stopped in on a rainy holiday weekend. Super indulgent donuts if that’s your thing. I hadn’t looked this place up so I wasn’t aware of the concept, was hoping for a simple blueberry cake donut which are my fave.They make mini-ish old fashioned donuts and you choose the glaze, topping and drizzle. We got the special which was blueberry lemon - loved this one. We also made a chocolate hazelnut one with graham cracker. A bit over the top but we still enjoyed.

The donuts they make are fresh, and you get to create your donuts with any options they have on their menu. Its fun to see and hear the different creations customers make. Also appreciate the appropriate sizing of the donuts so that you can try multiple without feeling overstuffed.

2021-10-24Perfectly sized warm, fresh donuts. We loved that we could consume more than one donut in a sitting and we didn’t even feel heavy after. Lots of flavor combinations to create your own masterpiece or choose the donut of the day! We even signed the large inflatable donut as we waited. We got there soon after they opened so it wasn’t packed and we got our donuts soon after we ordered. Highly recommend.
