This location is terrible. The last time I tried to shop here they were closed during business hours without any signage. I gave them another shot and the staff person was not wearing a mask and the store was dirty. Find another location.
I just had the best experience at GNC. The manager, who said he took over about 8 months ago, was extremely knowledgeable about the products. He helped me choose a couple shakes and suggested a daily supplement (which I bought too). Kudos!! I’ll definitely be back!!
My boyfriend comes here for his pre & post work out stuff. I went in with him one day asking about metabolism supplements,guy answered all my annoying and tedious questions,no judgement. Gave me a few pointers. I was originally not intending to buy anything,but walked out with what I wanted for a pretty good price . I would give this location 5 stars,but GNC are generally overpriced and if it were not for the sale,I would have walked out empty handed. The staff here are great,though ,and extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
It says open 10 to 8 right on the door, they have a sandwich board sign right outside so someone has to be there but at 2pm in the afternoon both doors are locked with all the lights on???? What the hell?? No one answers the phone either.
The guy that ran it obviously did not know what he was doing.. if you went there they usually were closed.. plus their products quite frankly suck.. so bye bye.. they deserve to be closed down.. they show how NOT to run a business
Be care for your total amount!!!I use my birthday coupon in this story, that is get 300 points for free if I buy anything in story. But the guy charged me 10 dollars for the free thing. After I found that,the guy didn’t say anything,no sorry, no apology!! That’s ridiculous.
Multiple times I have showed up during business hours and they are not open. Worker was not wearing a mask when I went there as well.
This is the second day I drove here and they are closed I called and spoke with someone who said the best time to go was anytime before 6pm so I went at 1:00pm the door is closed and lights are off I would order online or not at all
Why does Google say the store is open until 5pm and the sign on the door claims 11am-6pm hours on Sunday, yet I just walked up and the door is locked at 4pm?? This has happened to me twice at this new location.
Great location and always helpful. I called today inquiring about a certain product. Even though they did not carry what I was looking for, the employee referred me to a store that did.
This store is very convenient and the staff is always very attentive to my needs. I highly recommend this location, and much easier than going to a mall.

2022-06-14Ill never shop at GNC again. This location was only worth while when Vinny was the manager and now it is an absolute dump. I specifically came in and spoke to Anthony (one of the most arrogant, disrespectful kids ive ever interacted with) about wanting to purchase half priced items, which afterwards, I realized were only half off because they were about to expire. The kid charged me full price on almost all the items, totally 65 dollars before asking me three times to renew my gnc pro membership, to which I replied no, I do not want too and I need to hurry because Im on my way to work. After confronting him once I paid and realized the mistake, he rudely said oh its no big deal, ill refund it. He was very rude, short with me and interrupted me when I tried to explain my frustration. It wasnt the point that he could fix it, he knew one hundred percent why I was there because he ASKED and then saw how much it was and claimed he didnt notice. He continued to make snarky comments until it escalated and I put him in his place. He refused to apologize for charging me DOUBLE what i should have, tried to hide it and then got what he asked for when he ran his mouth. He quickly changed his whole narrative after contacting the police. People think they can rip people off and talk to them any type of way they want and have zero regard for their interactions. This is a paying customer and employee interaction that was so unprofessional I was dumbfounded. This location has had multiple issues, as Ive read reviews, experienced it first hand AND heard from camillus police that this store has had many issues with customer employee interactions. Never again. Play tough somewhere else, little string bean Anthony.

2022-03-26I have been to this location a number of times. Im always disappointed by the lack of customer service and support from the staff members. The associate never left the checkout area. Never made any suggestions for add on items.

2021-05-22Seeing the negative reviews, I thought it would be appropriate to log my experience as of 5/22/21.I arrived on a Saturday around 2:30pm. They were open, had what I needed, the staff was friendly and helpful. All good here.

2020-06-27Conveniently placed for me but thats the only reason Im giving any stars because otherwise its a useless place. Im in the plaza very often and every time I try to stop by they are always closed even prior to pandemic. I can understand closing early once in a great while for certain circumstances but if its as constant as it seems to be like in other reviews Ive read then you should be open as a business. Either change your hours to something you can stick to, and if you cant stick to anything reliably just dont be open ever.

2020-12-11Their google page lists they’re open until 8pm and after driving 20 minutes to get there at 6:45pm all the lights were off and they were closed. Chapter 11 is inevitable if your business is managed like this lol.

2021-06-03Never open on time. Ancient computer system never operating correctly on check out. Store usually smells of weed. Everything is priced higher than online, why would anyone support this place

2019-07-08Not sure whats with some of the bad reviews on here! Ive have been going here for a bit now and the customer service has been amazing. Working in customer service myself so, I totally get it! More recently, I know they are under new Management and Anthony is super nice, knowledgeable, and helpful! Any GNC Ive visited I have always had a really great experience so, dont hesitate to go if youre thinking about it especially this location!!

2021-02-11I called this location in Camillus multiple times during business hours and no one picks up or it is just a busy tone. So I decided to head down thinking maybe they might be busy and when I showed up at 1130AM doors are locked and no one inside. They open at 11...anyone else should go to another location

2018-11-04Absolute worst run business I’ve ever seen. Never open when it’s supposed to be....whoever is running this store needs to lose their job, or just close the whole thing down. Twice in the last three days I’ve come during business hours for it to be closed with a handwritten sign on the door. Place is trash.

2020-12-09Stopped by tonight around 6:30 and despite the door and online saying they were open until 8 it was closed. Second time in a week this has happened. No wonder I am getting notices in the mail that they are filing for bankruptcy. Time to cancel that pro membership.
