The ladys that worked there were EXTREMELY helpful and very friendly. I enjoyed the country music played there and the warm welcoming atmosphere. There were a variety of cowboy hats to choose from and I didnt feel like leaving. Great store!!! I definitely plan on going back soon
My family has been in the horse world for a long, long time. This store brings back memories and has excellent boots, and apparel. Go West is better then any store I have been in for a very long time. Excellent staff and very knowledgeable. Everyone is very friendly and myself and my son have purchased many boots and hats from here. I recommend everyone to stop in here, I guarantee you will buy something and go back many times. Cannot say enough about this store and their staff. If they do not have your size they are willing to order anything your want, if they can. GREAT atmosphere, relaxing and friendly. Cannot wait to go back and get my 3rd pair of boots and another hat. My son, Travis, has 4 hats from there and a pair of boots and intends to go back and get another pair.

2022-02-28This is one of the few, if not the only, place on Long Island for Western boots and apparel. Long time customer that has purchased boots, hats, jeans, accessories and even a bunch of Justin socks (that dont wear out!) Ellen and Liz are the best and never fail to make you feel welcome and appreciated. Ill always be a happy repeat customer! On the left in the photo is my first pair (resoled and re-heeled 3 times) and the latest purchase. They fit and feel great!.

2022-06-07I want to like this this place, and if it were just down to the products/selection I would. The people working never fail to disappoint though. Every single time I’m in, as if it were mandated by ownership, one of the employees inevitably says something so monumentally stupid that I am put off shopping there for six or so months, at which time I forget/think they’ll have changed and start the cycle over.

2021-11-05Been going here forever...best selection of boots, hats, western gear...Im not a big fan of Western music, but I have a thing for western boots & hats. Over the years, have at least 5 pairs I bought here as well as a couple of hats. Super super nice staff, helpful and accommodating. Good prices, unique items. Out of the box goodness!!

2021-12-01Went in here after seeing enough photos on FB/IG to know I had to check it out. Never wore cowboy boots in my life, but love these!! Amazing, huge selection for women, men and kids as well. Owner, Ellen, is very helpful and such a pleasure to deal with. I ended up buying 2 pairs because 1 was on sale with a big markdown and the other ones I just couldnt resist and priced very fair. Def coming back and buying some for Christmas presents, (for others and myself again as well!) Thanks for helping me find some pairs that were just a perfect fit for me! The hats, shirts and other items were awesome as well. Love this place!!

2021-04-10The staff is super knowledgeable and kind. The selection of the inventory is large and if they don’t have some you need they’ll order it for you no problem! And they have an awesome pup Jackson to greet you at the door!!!
