I shopped around had offers and was on my way elsewhere when I came across Gold buyers Club. I reluctantly called and was greeted by a gentleman by the name of Avi. He did not ask me what other people offered me he said please come so he could take a look. So I did. When I got there compared to being in the city to going to Gold buyers was bar none. I showed him my Rolex Watch he took a look and after he was done offered me more for it then they did at the previous places. Thank you Gold Buyers Club

Love Gold Buyers Club & Jewelers. I had gone there before the shop underwent a complete make-over. I liked the shop and Avi from the beginning. It had a lovely cozy vibe of an antique shop. Avi was knowledgeable and friendly. He assured me his pricing was the best out there. And I believed him. I just go there again today. Gone was the old-world look. In-came the look of transparency and professionalism. The business is more focus. It is just very pleasant to do business there. No matter whether it is to buy or to sell, I know I can trust Avi to be fair and professional with his evaluation and pricing.
I walked in the shop and was greeted by Avi who Ive never met before. I have been to gold buyers and club a few times to sell and pawn jewelry. They are very nice people and gave me the best price. More importantly they gave me a big favor like giving me a month to renew the loan when I did not have the money for interest. My experience with Gold Buyers Club & Jewelers has been fantastic at multiple occasions and I cant recommend them highly enough to anyone who is reading this review. These guys are honest, awesome and customer friendly old school - the way it should be. Dimitri is very friendly, informative and knows his business - Avi is terrific, he is an extremely good people person, and hell go above and beyond to take care of you. I bought a vintage watch few months ago, went back to get it serviced and few days later after I dropped it I had to bring it back - it was a very small problem that needed to be fixed, but given the fact that the watch is over 50 years old it required a professional job to fix it and they did it for me without charging me a penny. Also needless to say these guys have an excellent collection of collectibles, vintages, jewelry, watches, guitars, memorabilia. Check it out!!

This is the best price I received for my gold necklaces. My husband and I am very happy. I was worry the worker scratched our new gold but he is only testing the gold karat. They are very understanding and know the value of the gold and gave us best price. I recommend this place.

Great people here. Personal, fun and honest. They gave a great price and it looks like they renovated so it looks even better than the older photos. Well lit so it feels much less sketch than some other people mentioned.Avi was willing to work with us to figure out the pricing and wasnt pushy at all. After some research, I found Gold Buyers wanting to purge some older jewelry pieces as well as a high-end watch from my collection. I was extremely happy with the professionalism and customer service received as a patron. I called the business in the morning and was able to secure an immediate appointment, arriving within an hour of speaking with Avi. He was great, sorted through my jewelry, told me what he thought the values were, and gave what I considered very fair prices for all of my items. I walked out a happy customer!Upon returning recently, I got rid of a few more jewelry pieces, again receiving what I thought was fair value. I also put money down on a rare diamond that would retail at perhaps 3x what I was quoted. The place seems to offer other quality items as well for sale. I never write reviews because I rarely grade on curve and I had read the reviews on this place and Avi but was of course still skeptical as There are 1000 stories of people being taken advantage of at gold/pawn stores. But Avi was all that’s been written about him and more - he is one of those rare honest, straightforward business people and that’s why I’m writing this review. And he didn’t even buy what I was selling as he knew he couldn’t give me the value of what it was worth but he gave me detailed instructions on how to sell on eBay and even offered to polish it up for me! Good guy! I’ll be back to his shop as there’s a great chess set I want to get for my son!!

Avi is the best! Was very patient and explained everything to me when selling my mothers gold pieces. Also, he reset a couple stones in my diamond eternity band last year that would keep falling out after other jewelers would replace them. They are still holding strong! This place is very reputable and has a great selection of jewelry for everyones taste. I highly recommend them!
Once I saw the reviews here I knew immediately that I had to go, the staff there is incredible, no other way to put it. They work with you not against, unlike any other experience Ive had with pawn shops or even other establishments in the past. A diverse collection of cool watches and other interesting antiques plus modern luxuries as well. I went there at first to pawn something due to a lack of work now Ill be coming regularly as a customer due to the great experience I had and pricing on my weaknesses, pocket watches!

Great experience, staff is professional, personable & honest. Sold our jewelry for great price. Were happy customers.Went there today with my SO. Had to sell a few gold chains to pay off some debt. I didnt think we would get much out of the deal knowing the majority of buyers out there pay as little as possible. Boy was I wrong! The price offered to us by this store was much higher than we anticipated. Before the visit, we already knew the maximum price we would get for our jewelry because we had been shopping around in different places. So I was shocked (in a good way) that were offered more than what we had in mind. In retrospect, one of the other shops we went to falsely claimed that our gold was less pure but in fact we know thats not true. To add insult to injury, they offered a price way below what all the other stores had offered. Gold Buyers Club & Jewelers on the other hand is different than the rest. They tested our gold thoroughly to their satisfaction and offered us a deal thats undeniably higher than their competitors. They even admitted to us they dont make much buying from us and I can see why. I bet theyre willing to make less to build a better business around customer satisfaction. Because of the great deal we had theres no doubt Im satisfied with their business. Its no wonder GBC&J receives mostly excellent reviews. Dont let this small shop with antique decor fool you because theyre serious about their business. Ill definitely recommend this store to all my family and friends. Thanks GBC&J!
This was my 2nd visit today in about a year. I had a pleasant conversation with a Dimitry on the phone. I had a quick & easy transaction with Avi & I think he gave me a fair price on the gold I brought in. They also have a cool & eclectic assortment of items for sale. Leaving my name out for privacy however I had to go out of my way to leave a review which I barely ever do as Im too busy or honestly dont care to, however this place and the very kind gentleman Avi had provided such a great service and my experience here was so worthy of my time let alone 5 stars I would put 10 if I could I just had to at least leave a review. Went to sell some gold I had laying around, had a good experience the owner is friendly and fair on his prices to the dollar. Got pretty much the same price I wanted to get based on my calculations with a 70/30 split on the gold I was selling. I would recommend going here instead of anywhere else to save a lot of your time and get the best deals.

I am wondering if this Pawn shop is a front for something else. It doesnt operate like a pawn shop.Yesterday, I called in about an Samurai sword that I purchased on Ebay for $480. He said sure, bring it in. When I arrived, the owner said that he had 1000 of them in the back and that he would offer $20. This was a quality 1080 forged Damascus steel full tang blade with no dings, mirror shined. I shrugged it off.The next day, I called and said that I had a set of Bose 901 speakers in near perfect condition only 7 months old purchased for $2300. Again he said bring them in. When I arrived, he said he didnt know how to check if they worked -- that he had no receiver units. He didnt even know how to hook up the wires. Finally he said speakers were too big to ship on Ebay and didnt want them at all. The Bose 901s are high quality speakers. I was amazed that he had absolutely no interest whatsoever. They would had sold fast in his store alone.Makes me wonder if they are really in the pawn business or if the store is some sort of a front.
Went their years ago for an appraisal for a ring for insurance. Avi was great then just as great as he was today when I had to get another appraisal. Theres also a lot of stuff to buy in his place.

Great old school style pawn shop. I cant remember the last time I came across a pawnshop like this it had a full stock of all types of interesting things. Most of the stores you come across now that are calling themselves pawnshops are really just holes in the wall that buy and sell gold/ precious metals; this store has a full assortment of goods, and they offer Pawn as well as buying. The owner is very friendly and accommodating and the store is conveniently located with lots of parking nearby. This is definitely a place I would return to if I had something to sell or was looking for a unique gift that I might not be able to find in your average everyday new goods store

What a waste of time. All I needed was a price on something, not the history of watches and their resale.Edited for response.I wasnt ask for full price. I was asking for a price in general, but you felt the need to speak disclaimers and the history of watches for resale versus just giving me a response on how much. I had a job to get to and I wasnt so interested in your watch history lesson.
Great place to find or sell pretty much anything. Avis inventory is almost as extensive as his knowledge...which is quite vast. Has always been upfront and honest, which is more than you could possibly hope for. Avi has a customer for life in me and anybody else who has the pleasure of meeting him.

Theyd do right thing they said .I offered them 2885 dollars worth of silver as quoted by coin apps .They offered 1700 . 1100 less and weighed the silver in back of store so i cant see weight . Thats illegal..The store responded to this review saying you cant go by what coin apps site says .Any body knows that it gives exact coin prices based on silver value only..Not numismatic value.I was only looking for fair price based on silver content. Wasted my time going there. Kung fu is good Con fu is bad. .They thought i was Coin fool.

This place commits fraud. They give steep discounts or even free products if you leave a false 5 star review saying they bought your gold for lots, even if you didnt even come to sell gold eg buy a collectible.

He’s been in the business for over 10 years and it shows. He evaluated my jewelry right in front of me, explained his process thoroughly so I could fully understand. I am definitely bringing all my future business here and I highly recommend everyone do so as well. The environment and everything was very relaxing and welcoming. I felt secure and I felt I got the best deal when selling back my jewelry.

2021-03-16I had some scrap gold that’s been sitting in my drawer for years... like random single earrings and a couple pendants that I never wear. I decided to give this shop a shot since it had good reviews. I’m glad I did. Avi was very helpful and friendly. I was with my two young daughters and he brought out a box filled with costume jewelry for them to choose whatever they wanted. That was very sweet of him. I feel like I got a fair price for my gold, especially since it was stuff that I was never going to use. Win win. I definitely recommend this place.
