We used Gold Star limousine service to take a small group to the wineries. Dealing with Greg was a pleasure, he was informative, and helped me plan the best route to minimize time in car, so we could spend more time at the wineries. When driver CJ picked us up, he was professional, friendly and a good driver! He was even helpful in keeping us on schedule! He Had us back home right on time. Was a great day, and so nice not to have to worry about anything. I will use Gold Star for all my future transportation needs. I highly recommend them.
We used Gold Star Limousine service this past weekend for my daughters Sweet Sixteen party. The Infinity limousine arrived in a timely fashion. It was clean and beautiful. The driver was courteous and patient and waited for the members of the Court to get ready. Most importantly, he drove safely and delivered an excited group of teenagers to the venue on time.We dealt with Greg and everything we discussed was sent to us within an email confirmation. When we had to change the pick-up time, it was done without any problem whatsoever, and again, another confirmation was sent to us with the modified details. It might not seem like much, but it provided peace of mind.It is important to deal with a reputable, long-standing, local business. Greg is a man of his word and worked with us to ensure that we were one hundred percent satisfied.I highly recommend this limousine company.

Gold Star Limo provided outstanding service, the limo was beautiful!! I was desperately looking for a Limo last minute and they were very helpful and professional. The driver Joe was courteous and very nice the kids were very happy with his service and insisted I share their outstanding service. Gold Star Limo was a part of making prom a special day for all of the kids and I will definitely recommend them and use them for future event.
I will definitely use Gold Star in the future. We rented a Brand New Chrysler 300 Stretch with a Jet door. We have some tall guys in our group so when it said 14 person Limo, it was closer to 11. But the ride was brand new and clean. There were hi-tech lighting and electronics throughout. The driver was professional and safe. He stayed with us the whole day. Transparency of cost was important when coordinating the cost of the service. And the best thing about these guys is there were no hidden fees. We were charged only what was on the initial quote and not a dollar more. Thanks Gold Star.
Booked a wine tour only a week in advance for over 30 people. Pricing and service was great, bus was clean and fit us all comfortably! Our driver was wonderful too. We had an amazing time at each winery, which I nervous about because I asked Gold Star to pick the winerys for us, turns out they know what they are doing. Thank you Gold Star we will definitely be using you again.
GOLD STAR the name says it all Quick, professional, easy to reach, and has the best limo prices in long island! I did hours upon hours of calling, getting quotes from, and looking at the websites of what I feel like was every last limo company in long island, and gold stars prices were by far the least expensive. My contact, bob, was extremely accommodating. Our driver arrived early, was courteous, and even put up with some of our really, really late night shenanigans. I will definitely be using gold star limousine for limo transportation in long island
Best limo company around. I used them for my wedding a while back and of course from the selection of their cars to the professionalism of the drivers, everything was perfect. Recently I called and asked for a town car to get us to the airport and I loved the driver, but most importantly we made it to the airport on time, safe and he fit all our stuff in his car, including car seat for baby, stroller, 3 large luggage and some smaller bags as well plus all 3 of us. Highly recommend Gold Star, would never use anyone else.
Absolutely horrible experience! I cannot caution you enough not to use this company. Greg, the owner, has the worst customer service skills that I have ever experienced. From the first phone call, Greg was rude and impatient. It was as if he did not want the business. We booked a limo for a vineyard tour for 9 people. When I called 4 days before the date of the event, just to ask a few last minute questions, Greg informed me very rudely that confirmation of all details could only be done via email. I asked if I could simply ask a few questions, to which he replied I guess and then proceeded to put me on hold for for 20 minutes. In what can only be explained as retaliation for wanting to ask a few questions about my reservation, 4 days later Greg sent us a bright PINK limo for our group of 40 year old couples/adults looking to enjoy a day at the vineyards. As if that was not bad enough, on this 90 degree day, the A/C broke and it was absolutely unbearably hot in the limo. Since the trip I have found several reviews stating identical situations! Buyer beware! If you do decide to go with this company, do yourself a favor and make sure they put the color of the limo in the contract
Hired Gold Star to usher my Daughter and 14 others around the Vineyards and then to dinner in Port Jefferson. Exceptionally courteous and worked with me even though it was a last minute hire. The party was extremely happy with the super stretch and Melissa their driver. I was extremely happy to be able to depend on someone to perform so well even though I was 1600 miles away. I would, and have done so already, recommend Gold Star to anyone.
Used Gold Star Limousines for a wine tour and spoke with Greg. We had very last minute changes to the passenger # and he was extremely helpful and accommodating. The limo was beautiful and the driver was excellent. The lunches were delicious as well. I would definitely recommend this company, and am planning on using their services again in the future.
I used the sprinter and rolls Royce for my wedding. Greg was really great though the whole thing. We communicated via email and i never had a problem contacting him. The day of the wedding everything went probably as perfect as it can get. I would definitely use the company again.
Joey was an excellent driver for our wine tour that took place this past weekend! He was so nice and transported us in a safe manner. Our lunches that were included in the package were delicious!! Terrible experience! Our group requested a limo to seat 14 adults and were sent a car that sat 10 people at most. Several of us sat on the edge of our seats, while another passenger sat on the floor. We called Goldstars office to see if we could be accommodated with the limousine we requested. The office manager was defiant that we requested the wrong size limo to the point that he was going to check over office phone recordings to prove that we were wrong.To add insult to injury the AC was barely working. We were uncomfortable for the entire ride. I would not recommend Goldstar limousine.
We used Gold Star Limo in Long Island for my girlfriends bachelorette party. They did a great job and we all had an amazing time. We rented their pink hummer that was gorgeous and definitely attracted attention.The Driver was great. I was looking for a Limo company for my wedding so I ended up hiring them too.Very happy with the service.
I have called several Limousine Companies across Long Island to find the perfect one for a day out in the Vineyards. My search ended with Goldstar Limousines. I called and spoke with Greg, a bit nervous as this was the first time for myself and my friends, he was Great. Greg was very helpful and knowledgable. I had explained that I needed a full package deal which included the tastings and lunch. I was given a totally awesome price. The day arrived, not seeing any of his vehicles, a stretch escalade arrived, which was outstanding. Our driver Owen was awesome, no matter what we needed or asked for he was accomading. I would definitely recommend GOLD STAR LIMOUSINES.. .... THEY ARE AMAZING...
We used Gold Star Limousines during our vacation to Disneyland. The service was amazing! Both our drivers Ali and Bob were professional, prompt, friendly, and patient with my small children. I will definitely recommend this business to my friends and family!
I have never ever had a limo service treat my friends and me as horribly as your company has. We hired your limo company for my best friends bachelorette party and you literally almost ruined the night. What gets me the most, is that your driver wouldnt even take us to our hotel. We rented the limo for 5 hours. We were picked up at 4:30pm in Long Islsnd, driven to the city, and saw a show. Then upon coming out, we were told by the driver that he could not drive us to the hotel because it would put him over his time. Apparently you neglected to tell us in the multiple times that we spoke AND also left it out of our contract that the 5 hours includes the 1 hour it would take the driver to drive back to Long Island. So we were stuck having to get out of the limo at 8:30pm with our suitcases to catch taxis to our hotel! Because we were not going to pay your company a dollar more after we had already paid so much money for 5 hours when we didnt even get to use the limo for the last hour!!! Your driver wanted another $125 to drive us the 10-15 mins to our hotel. We had made arrangements based on our belief that we would have the limo for the full 5 hours and told you our itinerary AND that we were staying at a hotel in the city. WHY did you not tell us that the cost included that 1 hour drive back for for the driver or put it in our contract? That was not only horrible customer service but a horrible thing to do when this night was supposed to be a happy, fun celebration for my friend. I will share this on every social media outlet possible to make sure everyone is aware of your horrible customer service!!
My daughter booked Gold Star Limo. She received an email confirmation with time and date.She called to confirm several times with no response. They were a no call /no show for a 4:15 AM Pick Up. I had to drive her to the airport to make the flight. We have tried calling them all day and no one will answer or return a call.BUYER BEWARE!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! NOT SURE THEY EVEN EXIST. The have a Fitchburg, MA address that is actually a Liquor Store. They dont deserve 1 Star but that was our only choice.
I could not even make a reservation since the employee who answered my call was rude from the beginning of the call. On their website, there are restrictions to some areas of the wine tour which is why I had called to confirm some information. The employee was curt and gave me attitude. Other wine tour companies I called did not give me an issue when asking questions. I wasnt sure how far in advance I had to call to book a wine tour for a large party, but if there is no room, that is not an issue. But if you come off rude telling me that I should have booked months in advance because people are apple picking and looking at the scenery, only to tell me that there is room, then you lost my business.I have booked large parties in the past and have not experienced this type of customer service. Im sure I will receive a response from the owner based on his reviews for other negative reviews, saying that I should have booked ahead of time or that I asked too many questions.I asked questions based on the restrictions that are not listed online. Terrible customer service.
On November 17th, 2012 I proposed to my girlfirend and used your company to provide a Limo from Long Island to the city and back.However, I have to write to you to tell you specifically how your company and driver PROVIDED SO MUCH MORE!!! In a business where there is a lot of competition your company stands out SO MUCH Better then the rest because of the following:1) The prodcut – I have used and been in a bunch of limos….Your limos FAR surpassed everyones else. First, it was the cleanest limo I have ever seen. I could see the detail your company put in to making it classy (even the way the napkins were in the champagne glassess). Everything worked the way it was supposed to….the sound system was amazing, the fog machine (I never seen a fog machine in a limo before…very cool), the lighted floor and ceiling just amazing.However, what stands out is that unique Jet like Door that makes getting in and out just so cool.2) Service – You let me drop things off to your office (balloons, snacks, liquor) and then you had it all set up in the limo with just perfect presentation. You knew I was suprrising my girlfriend (now fiance thanks to you : ) so you had the limo parked just perfectly, with special “jet door” already open, with my balloons set up just perfect to give my girlfriend the WOW moment. Did I mention it was your company who even gave me the adivce to get the “Diamond Ring Balloon” which was awesome advice because it gave us that extra WOW factor.3) Safety and Driver - Wow again. John, was AWESOME. First off he was dressed so sharply, he was so nice. He made us feel safe. He was so proffesional. He was an excellent driver. Even at the end of the night it was just great to know no matter how “tipsy” we were and how many stops we had to make John was going to be there for us.I just can’t say thank you enough about your company and the expeirence and the value you gave me. Your Limo was so much more then just a ride from one place to another, it was an experience (and a party; ) all on its own. Thank you again!!As far as some of the other reviews on here that say they are poor - fair, i dont get it. The limos ( and i checked out like 5 of their limos before deciding on the chrysler 300) were all 2012, brand new, and everything worked GREAT on them. The AC was powerful, the sound system awsome, THERE WAS AN AMAZING LASER SHOW IN THE LIMO and fog machine was great)
They are extremely rude over the phone. They make you feel like you are bothering them when you are trying to book a tour with them. I have never experienced such awful customer experience in my life. I would not waste a phone call on them, there are so many other better vineyard tours who will pleasantly deal with their customers.
Called to look into a very large group which would bring in A LOT of money to them. Was met with a very sarcastic theres this thing called COVID...so no - Ironically enough (not that we got this far in the conversation) the group is a bunch of local students IN MEDICINE celebrating finishing their first year of graduate school and doing so through the pandemic...so, wise guy - theres also this thing called the governor, whos lifting all occupancy restrictions on 5/19... and if you listened to a word I said, my date was well over a month after after that. Dont even both calling them.
WORST LIMO EXPERIENCE EVER!!The driver picked us up, didnt open the door for us and it was snowing freezing cold. He had the doors locked and was just sitting inside the front seat of the Limo.The window panel in between the driver and the passengers was broken. Greg the man who answers the phone has no manners, he is extremely unprofessional on how he speaks to the clients and is not clear on payment at the time of pick up.NOT WORTH THE $ AT ALL!! Ive taken plenty of limousines and party busses in my day and I have never come across any limo service that was so rude and unprofessional. There are plenty of people out there in need of a job if they cant do it right then they need to hire professional people that will.
Very bad company,I cried on my wedding day after paying for a hummer,got dressed on my wedding day just to look outside to see a cheap Lincoln to pick us up after calling them telling they sent the wrong one they said the A/C broke so I had to just be in something I never payed or ask for.no phone call or nothing to let me know they was sending a different one no refund or nothing shame on them . Maybe we was to black to be in a nice limousine I think.this happened 2012 an am just leaving a review thought they was out of business but still here.
I have been using Gold Star for my boss and his family down in FL now for over 3 years and absolutely love them. They are super dependable and reply immediately. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

2021-10-19Highly recommend Gold Star!! I used the pink hummer limo twice. One for my daughters 10th birthday and a month later for my sisters birthday. Sooo much fun. Clean and loud speakers for music. Definitely a head turner!! Our driver was Papa Doc!! Such a great guy and very attentive! I had a bit of problem with people not showing up the second time using them cause it was a per person package and Greg was about to negotiate prices with me. Knocked down about $400 and he didn’t have to. Soo grateful that he did. I would use them again! Thank you guys!

2022-06-12Dont book a limousine here or you will be sorry!!!!This company ruined our daughters prom by not showing up for her and 15 of her friends. We booked a 16 passenger limousine for our daughters prom and 15 of her friends. The limousine was supposed to be at the pre prom house by 3:30pm. There was 60 other seniors at this pre prom house and by 3:30pm all the limousines were there except Gold Star for our daughter and her friends. We called at 3:30pm we were told the driver was running a little behind but would be there in 15 minutes. We called again at 3:45pm again we were told in another 15 minutes. At 4:00pm all the other limousines were leaving with all the other kids and my daughter and her friends just sat there waiting. We called again at 4:00pm now we are told their driver was lost. We said how can he be lost when this is your business picking up people and there is navigation. By now my daughter was crying as we were responsible for hiring this company for a limousine. Once we realized Gold Star was not showing up we called all the kids parents to see how many of them could pick up kids to drive them all to the prom. Our daughter and the 15 other kids had to deal with this bad experience and arrived over an hour late to prom due to this horrible company.

2021-11-04Used Goldstar last minute and they were great. Party Bus for 20 going to a music festival. Bus was as clean as could be, on time, loaded with ice and water. Ed the driver was super professional and took care of everyone and every detail. Will use them again and again!

2015-10-15I will definitely use Gold Star Limo again. The price was fair, and it was a pure pleasure dealing with the owner of the company and the driver. Not to mention, the limo bus was beautiful!The driver was great. He went above and beyond his duties. I hired a limo bus for 5 hours for 19 teenage girls. The driver was in contact with me throughout the night letting me know all was well. As a parent, I really appreciate his concern for the girls. His personality was great.The girls said the driver was so much better than the driver they had last year with a different company. And the girls said the bus was so much nicer than the bus last year. Everyone was happy!!!

2016-11-07Great experience! I will definitely use Gold Star Limo again! Booked a wine tour for 17 people and the service was excellent! Our limo driver Tommy was very professional and he was so helpful throughout the whole day. The SUV limo was an Infinity and it was very snazzy and clean. Lunch was great as well. My group had a wonderful time. Next year I will definitely get more people so I can book a party bus instead of the SUV Limo so we have more room. Cant wait for the next wine tour!
