Service is an absolute mess. Counters are filthy. Workers are clearly unhappy. Consistently incorrect with simple orders + mistakenly over-charging. Love the other Goldbergs spots, but this one is abysmal. Go for other Sag options like Schiavonis. I witnessed a walk-out argument where an employee dropped cold cuts and then proceeded to stack them on top of the customers order before getting caught red-handed. Then lied as if we didnt all just see it. You wont see me in here again.
This place is horrid. I got the most pathetic excuse for an egg bagel with cream cheese and it cost me $4.50. I can get a fat bacon egg and cheese right down the road for that price. Absolute robbery. For a bagel store that has multiple locations, you should be ashamed of yourself. Not to mention, each location has different prices based off of where they are (riverhead prices are much cheaper than sag harbor).
Terrible service aswell as rude workers. I went into Goldberg’s to order a sandwich for my son just a simple ham hero. I had ordered one the other day so I was surprised to see that the sandwich was much smaller today than the other day. So I asked if they had confused my order or if they had other types of bread. And I was rudely told by a man behind the counter that “I must be confused with another place”. I came into this store didn’t waste anyone’s time and treated the workers with kindness just to receive this treatment? Terrible 1 star never going back.
I was there on sept 3 2021 at about 1140 am. I was ignored multiples times . This is the first at Goldberg’s bagel I experienced this at . The staff ignored me multiples times and took the customers after me . BAD MANAGEMENT!!! Dirty counters !!! Dirty floors!! Nasty staff attitude!!!

In the hamptons.... there is no espresso machine at Goldberg’s!!!!! Do not go here is you are looking for an espresso, latte, or cappuccino!!!! I think the owners totally misjudged the hamptons clientele and will miss out on tens of thousands of dollars in revenue because they don’t have the vision to lease or buy a machine!!!!Oh and it took me a couple of tries with the cashier to fully comprehend that they did not have a machine. The female cashier then proceeded to recount the story in Spanish to her coworker.... thinking that I did not understand Spanish!!! How rude. I hope this place looses a lot of money this year. At least the prior owner had an espresso machine and a dynamite manager that would NEVER think about talking about a customer....in front of them....in another language.
This is the second time Ive watched employees handle money (cash and cards) and then turn around and grab bagels WITH THE SAME HANDS AND NOT CHANGE GLOVES, and proceed to make the order! If you cant get the basics of hygiene right in the COVID-19 era, you honestly dont deserve to be in business. I will never go back.
One way to much cream cheese on a bagel rushed forgot 2 things bagel and bacon and the people behind me got there order before mine waited 20 minutes for not even that good of a bagel
I really like Goldberg’s bagels and spreads-but this place never answers the phone and so they make you come in to order which takes forever

2022-06-14Very good New York bagels right on main street. I wish the inside was a little nicer but it still hits the spot.The Hobo sandwich on a roll is a hearty, savory morning experience to try!The tofu cream cheese is notably good!There is also a small local provisions area inside.Bagels will come wrapped in paper, then paper foil, and in a plastic bag if you get more than 2

2022-07-02Fresh croissant made on site , warm, fluffy , truly amazing.Day old, possibly reheated croissant not so much. Even if you ask they say all made in this morning . I understand they need to sell everything, but if you ask , also if you regular customer. Come on!!!

2022-06-10Horribly rude, abrasive and condescending front counter and register staff. Having been a Goldberg’s Katonah and East Hampton customer for years I can tell you that this location can’t hold a candle to the former local bagel location in Sag Harbor, Bagel Buoys. Do t bother and make the trip to East Hampton location, much nicer staff!

2020-12-18Lives up to its hype. They are very accommodating to making exactly your order. Every specific detail of each and every bagel was spot on. They randomly sell Mike’s Hot Honey by the bottle which is hard to find and normally something I have to order online. No need to toast the bagel twice if you like it crispy, once it perfectly toasted. Extra cream cheese is the move.

2021-07-29I got a Powerhouse wrap which on the website menu is stated to have egg whites, turkey, lettuce, tomato and hot sauce in a wrap. What I received was just egg whites, turkey and american cheese which I didnt want. It was disgusting and very over priced. Never coming back again.

2022-04-15I ordered 2 bagels and 1/4 lb of walnut spread to put on them. I get the order home and find they gave me .61 lbs of walnut spread. Doesnt anyone understand or speak English anymore?
