I have stayed in many different hotel rooms ranging from 0 stars to 5 star hotels with rating from 4 to 10. I usually give places the benefit of doubt and usually turns out okay. I have never given a hotel less than a 6 out of 10 or a 3 out of 5. We were in the first building upstairs (cocoa was absolutely filthy . The hallway, stairs, the room.-- In response to the business response. I stayed there while it was under new management. If the business is going through renovations, cleanliness is not a renovation. It should always be clean. There was a coat of dirt and dust all over the carpets.
This place keeps getting worse & worse, cheap enough place to lay your head. The worker at the desk called the day of our reservation & left a voicemail saying that if we didnt call back in 15-30 mins we were going to be bumped from our room we booked a week prior! Well since we were from out of town & we were early in the area, (check-in is at 2pm) we went to see a movie to kill time. I turned my cell to silent to be polite to everyone else in the theater, & didnt look at my phone until about 2 hrs later! I guess luckily for us, someone else hadnt confirmed their room yet. Felt bad for them though. Weve stayed at this hotel multiple times & never had this scenario happen to us ever before. I dont know what happened or why things changed but it definitely wasnt for the better. WILL NOT BE STAYING HERE AGAIN!
They tried to switch the room we booked then gave us problems when we proved what room we booked. Once in the room it was disgusting looked like floors had never been sweeper or mop the Jacuzzi had mold around the grout and tile about to fall off and the inside looked as if it had never been cleaned as well.
We got into Albany on a very late flight and had reseverd a room here because of proximity and price to the Albany Airport. Also we were informed by the website that a shuttle was available. There is not shuttle service unfortunatly, but the room was very nice, much nicer than we expected it. We enjoyed our room and the staff was also very friendly. Would recommend this place for its close location and fairly priced rooms that are very nice and comfy.
This is my second time here and this experience better then last, which was great. Friendly staff clean and spacious rooms with hot tubs available, wifi accessible , and great complimentary breakfast was great! Hot waffles? Yessss real waffles with waffle maker ❤❤... coming back for sure!!
The room with the spa bath looks better in person, the room is bigger than I thought. Wasnt too happy to have to eat breakfast in the lobby, but the girl at front desk was nice, and made sure I didnt need anything.
Never again.....Pull in to check in, 6 Colonie cop cars in front of building..Talking to Male, While other officers were searching car....Had early check in, when we finally got to our Room, They were supposedly cleaning...The maid was smoking while vacuuming, I was sitting in vehicle waiting, when we finally got into room IT WAS NOT CLEAN BY ANY MEANS.....Bathroom was Nasty😑Sink Faucet was Broken, there was mold on Heater in Bathroom, and old Dustin and hair Behind Toilet... There was A Cigarette HOLE in The Blanket...Then look outside as a half naked woman gets dropped off by a cab, with a Tote and bag......Nothing but a flea bag Hoover motel.....120 a Night?Nothing but a joke, couldnt wait till daybreak to get out of there......
Absolutely horrible. Semen stains on the floor, filthy rug and and extremely dirty bed clothes. Had the nerve to tell bf and I we received noise complaints! Be happy, were adding to the decor
Made a reservation through Hotwire. When we showed up at Golden Circle they said the room we wanted was not available but they could give us another room for twice as much. Bait and Switch, not Cool.
The hotel is nice if you want a simple hotel experience. I havent had any problems and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are not amazing but theyre not bad- theyre comfortable.
The room isnt the cleanest smelling room Ive ever been in, unfortunately. There could be a few changes, could use some updates. (paint, etc.) Other than that, for the price, I guess its worth it. You get what you pay for.... lol
This was the worst place Ive stayed at. The sheets had not been cleaned in a very long time, and when we asked, they just lied and said they had cleaned them that day.
Price is the only advantage around the area, which is particularly true for people who wants to visit Troy.The room can be clean or dirty depending on the mood of the house keepers.Almost everything in the room appears to be old and quite heavily used.
Staff was friendly and helpful. There were a couple issues with the room but nothing ruined our stay. Very close to everything in Latham.
I like it here but this time my room was just not what we got last time I took a white washclothe and cleaned the Jacuzzi and the night stand and toilet and sink also the headboard needles to say the washcloth was disgusting black so how come my room wasnt clean also some of the outlets dont work and very weird to me but there is a light over the Jacuzzi but it doesnt have a switch to turn it on honestly I cant believe I paid 254$ and change for this I would definitely request not to get this Jacuzzi room 29 if I came here again walls are dirty carpets got stains all over needs a paint job and there were cobwebs in the bathroom and when I brought the washcloth to the office and said something about how i check in and spend 1.5 cleaning my room they said nothing thats horrible I feel nothing like last time we came
Made a reservation with hotwire. Arrived at the hotel and they did not have the room we reserved. For twice the price we could get one of their suites. We found somewhere else to stay for the night.
Pretty decent motel, breakfast included. The beds are little bit small for 4 adults.
The room was nice and clean. It had a large hot tub in the room as well.
We stayed in one of the suites in October 2017. The room was clean and the employees were friendly.
Convenient to where I work and amenities. Nice inside rooms! Refrigerator and coffee maker in each room.
Considering the motel we stayed at before had bugs, it was perfect.

2021-10-26The room was very spacious and super nice and clean. King size bed is soooooo comfortable and bedding clean and crisp. Had a nice jacuzzi and a shower in large bathroom. It was more like a suite because it was large. The office manager was very helpful and just darned nice. If we’re by this way again we definitely will stay here again! It was a Great Deal!

2022-05-23After booking this hotel online through booking.com, then driving 4 hours they refused to allow my service animal, without cash upfront. The front desk area was shabby...and not very clean. The clerk was rude and unprofessional. Dont bother.

2021-08-27I wish 0 was an option!! They also require another $100 deposit once you are at the hotel. Room I got was disgusting, dirty, furniture looks like it was picked up on the side of the road. Broken toilet, water runs nonstop. In the hole way very bad smell, whenyou enter, its like a punch into your nose. The top blunkett on the bed is full in stain. Probably they never wash it. Travelers beware pics are very deceiving. Watch the real one here...

2021-03-09Got their jacuzzi suite for valentines day, great huge room. The tub was enormous, I pretty much spent the whole night in it. My only problem was for the price they could have given the room a bit more of a romantic touch instead of a hotely vibe. Too many parties were had in that room and it showed from the cigarette burned bedding and carpet. And i think the room was an add on and it was COLD AS F*$9.8....i had the heat all the way up but it was winter and the room was freezing which is why I stayed in the tub all night. Also 4 weeks later the security deposit is still being held i called the hotel to release it and she sent me the receipts so I could get it released from my bank.

This hotel says it’s open 24hrs but the lobby closed at 11 and we had to call the number left at the door for 30 mins before someone finally answer to let us in to a room we already paid for. They also require another $100 deposit once you are at the hotel. Room we got was disgusting furniture looks like it was picked up on the side of the road. Bathroom was still dirty from the last people with half used soap and shampoo still in the shower if it wasn’t 2am I would found another place to stay. Travelers beware pics are very deceiving.

2019-04-23Not the worst but far from the best. The staff was friendly and apologized for the jaquzzi not being clean, the scratchy rough paper thin towels, and they do not have fitted sheets to fit the beds so they just use 2 flat sheets instead. They also do NOT have the mattresses in any kind of cover/ encasement. Which is my #1 complaint due to the rise of bed bug infestations in the capital region. This place could be a nice place if they put some effort in to keep it clean & sanitary... I personally wouldve gave some kind of discount to try to get me to want to try to give them another chance. Especially since I even showed the pictures I took of the nasty jaquzzi experience last night. I couldnt even sleep here. Left before midnight to come back & meet my friend at 4 am. Checked out before check out time. So really was only in the room for maybe 2hrs total....

2018-02-12This place was extremely dirty. The smell in the air smelled like mold, pill caps next to the bed which had burn marks all over. Very dusty, food crumbs all over, the floors unvacuumed. Also seen a drug deal go down, and left as soon as I could charge my phone. Bathtub curtains had black mold on them. I did not even sit down because I was afraid of bugs possibly being present. Also allot of the paint was chipping from the walls and there painted over vents. Went to the front desk they would not refund anything. I left and went to another place close by with my son. This place was extremely nasty.

2017-03-04We had booked a room for two nights. We had gotten there late. The guy at the front desk was very friendly but did not know what he was doing. The first room we got the bathroom was disgusting shower was dirty floor was greasy. We asked to switch rooms. The second room smelled the shower curtain had black mold all over it. The head board was dirty. We asked for a refund and it was a 45 minute process because they said the rooms were fine. Never going there again.

2016-05-27This is very difficult to comment on. We have stayed here twice. Once was fantastic and the other was awful. Here is why. The first stay we stayed in a suite and it was like any other 2-3 star resort. It had a hut tub, nice soap and shampoo, a huge TV, the bed was amazing, and it had a decent breakfast buffet. The other time we didnt go with a suite but a regular room and it was the pits. It smelled and we had cheap soaps and shampoos. So come here for a economic priced suite because they are great. But if you go for the cheap rooms it is the bottom of the barrel. All and all I can say this place is pleasant. The lady at the front desk was nice and helpful. I can say that I would stay here again, just not in the regular rooms. I say this not as a person who is used to high end rooms, but as a frequent 1-2 star hotel customer.
