The one most friendliest staff of workers I have ever met. They are very personable and remembers you log after you havent been back in a while. Newly upgraded, this is my favorite Golden Krust Bakery location in the Bronx. I am always here to grab me some spicy beef patties and coco bread. It does get busy at times, but the staff works the line well and everyone mostly always leave smiling with great food.Live Life Unscripted...
I live nearby the golden krust and I have to say this is the most irritating location Ive ever been to. Biggest problem they prepare food for the day and thats it.No replenishment to accommodate service I went in the other day at 630pm they were out of rice and peas. I was told it finished. Another time I went in at about 930pm they closed at 1030pm there was no food out to display at all completely cleaned down. There were a few things in the back left over. That is the worst counter service Ive ever had its like they dont even care if the business makes money. I get cutting down to prevent waste but lack of supply of regular menu items brings a horrible reputation.
The quality of taste has fallen off par...oxtail - curry goat looks old an taste the same; beef patties were dried out - bullas broken up in the bags...
0 stars. JAMAICAN people are so rude and disgustung. Do not waste your time. They are cheap with the serving size and overpriced. Quite honestly the food is not all that great.

Wont serve a large oxtail even if its on the menu. They try to price gouge you buy making you buy it small.

2021-09-15I keep giving them a chance & no change. They open at 7am I went at 8am why isnt all food for breakfast Completed? I asked for fish the girl says I came too early. Well what about ackee & fish not ready. So had to settle for liver which was dry even though it had gravy, blan callaloo, and a miserable server & I see the cook with the attitude is still there.The only things that were good was my drinks & snacks from there .

2018-01-17DO NOT EAT HERE!!! My experience at this place is always pleasant. As for the service, you pay for overpriced dinner plates that are very poor quantity & bland. No one eats all rice or bare bones without any meat!!!! The polite server/cashier mature woman (makeup always messed up) charges whatever she pleases! A large oxtail supoosed to cost $13.28 ea. So 2 medium oxtail plates cost me $33.66. Next day bought Jerk chicken breast & wing meal with medium oxtail cost $27.90??? With some kind of blue tape/plastic in it!!! No forks, or napkins at all with any takeout! SHE needs to be FIRED!!! Yes I said FIRED!!!! THIS WAS IN MY CHILDS FOOD! !!!

2021-02-21I attended this specific location, February 21, 2021, in the early afternoon. The cashier was extremely rude. No greeting, when I ordered my food, she actually rolled her eyes and sucked her teeth. It feels like this is the standard greeting— a very nasty disposition and a poor attitude. The food and prices is not worth the disrespect. I wished I would’ve seen the big “B” in the window as your restaurant grade before I even entered the establishment. Highly disappointed and will not recommend!!! However, I may share this with my tens of thousands of followers on social media. It was not golden day, today.

2021-03-23I live two states away and when I come to theBronx this is were I stop for food, I was thereMarch 14 and the 20th and ordered curry goatand oxtail, I spent $ 95.00 those two times , for the amount of money I spent I expect to get my monies worth. Both my curry goat orders were more bones then meat. The oxtailI ordered were 6 pieces on both large orders.Luckly I had told them to put enough sauce on the rice other wise the food would have been bland. I love to eat from this restaurant the servers are very pleasant, but I have been very dissatisfied coming from far to purchase bones is not acceptable.I will probably be going to another golden crust to purchase food.

2018-06-30The food selection is plenty but the service is absolutely horrible here. The female employees have no consideration for your personal preferences when it comes to serving food. They slap gravy into the containers and pack the food into the brown paper bags carelessly. I often wonder if they serve old patties or uncooked patties because my patties have always tasted stale or felt cold. They barely give napkins. And the store manager is such a nice woman. It is a shame that there are employees that just don’t know how to serve customers. It is sad that this store has gotten so bad. It used to be so great! Hoping that things will change. Until then I won’t be going here for a quick stop or dinner at all. Terrible service.

2019-07-02I love eating there but the last 2 times I ordered the Brown stew chicken it was so spicy that I couldnt enjoy it. Im not a spicy eater so I usually order the brown stew chicken cause it has less spice but from the first forkful I couldnt continue to enjoy my food. So it was a waste of my money
