Gotham Veterinary Center is the only place I would take my dog to in Manhattan. The front desk people are pleasant and all the Vets, assistants, nurses and other workers are skilled , smart and caring about my dog every time I take her to the center. The staff has a friendly, but knowledgeable way of caring for my pet. I also notice the individual attention each animal gets when they are looked after. My dog is 12 years old now and we have been happily going to Gotham for many years , knowing that my dog will get the best care she can get at a Veterinary office.
Dr Bonny Brown and her team really care about your pet! I have three cats, including one that is 20 years old. Dr Brown is so caring and careful with him. I am glad I have her and her team.Every time I go I have found the staff responsive and helpful, no matter how busy and all through Covid.Still independently owned, I am very happy to support a independent veterinary business that is run by people who care, not a corporation that only looks at the bottom line.
I love Gotham Veterinary Center. They are seriously THE best vet on the Upper West Side, if not all of Manhattan. Bonnie Brown and her team are amazing. We have been going to her off and on for 11 years and never again will it be off lol. I highly recommend not only the clinic, but the Physical Therapy Center around the corner that is also theirs. BEST VET EVER!
I was going to gotham for about a year & was initially impressed by their efficiency & vet interaction. However, after my last experience I am extremely frustrated. I brought both my dogs in under the impression of each needing one vaccine update each. Turns out it was three each (at least one of them having 2 months until needing updating) & was never communicated nor the cost. At check out I was surprised with a $660 bill. While I understand it is the upper west side so maybe the expectation is everyone has money— this put me in a very difficult financial position not being prepared for that bill. Next, after moving & changing vets, the new vet was going over one of my dogs history & asked about him needing to be muzzled. He is the sweetest, most optimistic dog & has never bit anyone or shown any aggression during is 6 years of life. Needing to muzzle him was never communicated to me & this is very telling of the lack of care handling my dog. Glad to not be going back to this office.
I had a Sunday night issue that wasnt quite an emergency, but I wouldve been greatly relieved if my vets office could see my doggy right away the following day, Monday. They could tell my concern and stress that without hesitation they made room for me. Dr C saw my doggy and was great with him, she is new to me but she was so great that I felt very confident in her diagnosis and plan of treatment She said he should feel better in a couple of days...and he did! She was on point! I highly recommend Gotham!
My two cats have seen two vets here and both have been kind and careful and thorough. Both fully discussed various options for treatment and then accommodated my preferences. The vet dentist is also terrific -- hes treated both my cats -- and he takes his time to explain everything. I never feel hurried here and the vets have always been willing to phone me when Ive requested. All of them make the effort to make me feel like my cats are their favorite patients -- a wonderful feeling. The vet techs are also uniformly helpful to me and kind to my cats.I have mixed experiences with the office/desk staff -- some are pleasant and helpful, while others are abrupt and seem annoyed by every phone call and question. However, everyone always relays my messages and accommodates my appointment requests. As a cat person, I often meet too many dogs -- often rowdy --- in the waiting room. I would prefer a cat-only practice, but I am happy here, thanks to the vets themselves. The costs of visits and procedures and meds are shockingly high, but I assume its competitive.
I have been going to Gotham Vet for over 10 years with my dogs. I go for everything from vaccinations and annual check ups to dental work. I first fell in love with Gotham because I met Bonnie Brown, founder and vet, and really liked her. Shes not always available, but Im comfortable seeing any of the vets there as Ive had appointments with many of them as well. This past week I went in with an ill dog and while at Gotham my dogs health rapidly deteriorated to the point where I had to put my dog to sleep. The vet I was with, Joanna Rosen, was outstanding. She helped me understand why my dogs health failed and was compassionate and caring when I had to put my dog to sleep.Although I love Gotham and everyone there, I do find them to be on the more expensive side of things. Also, because they are very thorough, they always want to order every diagnostic test available and I have found myself throughout the years declining certain services that I either could not afford or did not personally think were needed. For example, I declined an expensive echocardiogram they wanted to do before my dogs dental work because she had a mild heart murmur.Speaking of dental work, it is very expensive. My dogs are a breed that are known for bad teeth and Ive had multiple cleanings for both of my dogs over the years. For two dogs, the bill has never been less than $2,000 and has gone as high as nearly $3,500. The work was definitely needed, but its super expensive and the dental tech is not afraid to be condescending and abrasive if he thinks that you arent doing what he thinks needs to be done like daily brushing. Finally, Gotham is not an emergency facility. They send you to Blue Pearl for emergencies and Blue Pearl is VERY expensive. I had one dog with an intestinal blockage and that was $7,500.Bottom line is that I love the vets and I love the care and attention for my pets and thats why Im willing to pay their prices. I recommend them to my friends and would recommend them to anyone, but I also explain that they are pricey.
Dr. Rosen at Gotham Vet is AMAZING. I had a few hiccups with my puppy and she was always very responsive in speaking on the phone or allowing me to come in for a same-day appointment. Vet techs are great and were always so good with my dog. Office staff is very friendly and accommodating when scheduling appointments. I recently moved out of the city and will miss Gotham Vet!
I cannot recommend enough the thorough and compassionate care that Gotham Vet Center provides. We have two dogs that have had nine different veterinarians as our family has moved around the world, but Gotham has been our favorite. In my personal experience and professional work with veterinarians, Dr. Shapard at Gotham Vet Center is one of the best. Good judgment, always taking time to explain what’s happening, candid advice that puts your pet first, and a great team supporting her to provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment plans. Additionally, Gotham has an incredibly friendly and helpful front desk staff. I’ve also found that Gotham’s prices are not just competitive for Manhattan, but are good compared to most urban and suburban area vets where we’ve lived (using side-by-side comparisons of bills for the same services). Lastly, I’ve heard from two very good friends of mine that Gotham Vet Center has great dog treats on the front desk counter. Thank you, Gotham.
Everyone from the women at the reception desk, to the vet tech, to Dr. Miller were incredibly kind and helpful. I was having such a bad day I was unable to fill out the paperwork and was assisted with patience and thoughtfulness from everyone. I felt my beloved dogs were in the best hands and that made me feel so much better. Thank you Dr. Miller and everyone else! You cannot out a price in this type of caring.
I had another rescue for 13 yrs and used another Vet. There were always problems there. When i rescued a new dog, i needed a different Vet. I was referred to Gotham and boy was i happy.!! My rescue was from a brutal puppy mill in the South and was very traumatized. From the moment i entered, it was cheery and welcoming, the Vet who took care of us was professional and warm. She wanted to make my dog comfortable and got down on the floor with her. I was impressed with the entire appointment and doubly impressed with follow up to check on how she was. I am so happy to write this because u always see complaints right away but compliments are rarer. This is a top notch practice!
They couldnt accommodate a long time pet patient, over 10 years on the last 3 calls. This past week they couldnt accommodate our dog who was having a stroke. Thank God for Animal General advising me to go to their partner VEG. Our dog is actually feeling better than he has in the past 4 months. The last vet that saw my dog didnt know his weight or history and was focused on up selling. I was told by several people that Dr. Brown is focused on her pet rehab business and is neglecting the practice. The place is filthy. I almost sat in poop last visit. Receptionists are always in conversations among themselves and neglect owners and appearance of waiting area. We switched to Animal General.
I have been so tremendously impressed with and grateful to Gotham Veterinary Center, its clinical and non-clinical staff. The front desk people are WONDERFUL -- they do what they say they will do; they are fully dedicated to customer service. They know that for people in NYC, time is of the essence and they are terrific, customer-focused partners in helping you get the best care for your pet. And the clinical staff is FIRST CLASS!!! WOW!!! They are caring, thoughtful, incredibly hardworking and kind. I cant say enough WONDERFUL things about Gotham and all the people who make it what it is! Thank you!!!! I have been going to Gotham since it first opened, and each year it gets better and better!!!
Dr. Brown has been our vet for many years, even long before she opened Gotham Vet Center. She is extremely professional, ethical, and compassionate. Our dog recently required surgery (during the COVID-19 pandemic.) The staff of Gotham came through, providing a safe and comfortable environment for the procedure.Their positive attitudes and exceptional helpfulness eased the way in a stressful situation. We continue to be big fans of this practice.
I started coming to Gotham about seven years ago. Initially, I took my pet for a second opinion. From that point on, Gotham has been my only choice for veterinary service in the city. They are honest, flexible with scheduling and most importantly, I trust them with my pet. The administrative staff is great as well - friendly, helpful, responsive.
Dr. Cristina Carbonell was exceptional; she, and the rest of the staff, took such amazing care of our baby!! We brought our dog in the day after we adopted him from a rescue shelter and the staff was able to squeeze us in right away for an emergency visit. When I brought our dog in and told the nurse he has separation anxiety, she was so patient and asked about his potential reaction may look like. Dr. Carbonell treated our dog with IV fluids and proper medication that the nurse showed us how to use on our dog when we came to pick him up that evening. The doctor was so nice and answered all of our questions, giving him a top of the line treatment. The next day our dog felt infinitely better and many of his symptoms subsided very rapidly. The staff was also so nice and patient every time we called during the day to check up on our dog, as we could not go back and stay with him due to Covid. Would highly recommend this facility and this doctor, in particular. I do not have enough wonderful things to say about our experience at Gotham Veterinary Center!
It is so nice to see a vet who seems to appreciate your pet as much as you do. Dr. Bonnie Brown is both knowledgeable and experienced. She helped me with serious health concerns with my previous dog as well as general care and behavioral issues. On top of that, Bonnie welcomed my young son in the examination room so that he could see what she did and ask questions about caring for our young puppy. The staff at Gotham is all welcoming and friendly making it a good overall experience
Ive lived in several places in NYC, and had many vets for my 13 year old pug, and Gotham is hands-down the best by far. Everyone from reception to the techs to the vets is kind, professional, and knowledgeable, and they never leave you feeling in need of more attention or information. My dog has had routine check ups, an ultrasound, dental cleaning and tooth extraction, blood work, and other tests, and Gotham has handled everything beautifully. They explain everything clearly, lay out option, keep in telephone contact if you have to leave your pet there, and are clear about costs, without any surprises. Highly recommend.
I always feel confident that my per will be given the best care and mindful attention at Gotham Veterinary. Dr. Brown is the ultimate professional whose impressive depth of knowledge is matched by the same level of compassion. The staff is always welcoming and ensures that things move as smoothly as possible. I feel that both my pet and I are in caring and competent hands. My dog actually loves her visits there and if she could, she would go in to visit every time we pass by on a walk. She tries - but I have to coax her away.
I feel that my dog is so well taken care of and treated with kindness by everyone in the practice..They have a wonderful rehabilitation unit for injuries and are instrumental in keeping my senior dog young and active. They have a great veterinary dentist and experts in canine nutrition. The doctors, technicians and office staff at Gotham Veterinary Center take excellent care of my best friend.
My cat Bowie and I had a great experience at Gotham Vet. We were welcomed by friendly receptionists and found the treatment and care of Dr. Davis to be excellent. I have another cat, Teddy that needs a checkup soon. I absolutely plan to take him to Gotham Vet as well!
What a great experience every time!!!I have found the perfect place to bring are dogs the staff is always very polite courteous and kind. Both of our dogs have anxiety one is scared of all the loud noises they are both rescue dogs and are other dog Lily was getting aggressive understandably so knowing their background and never living New York City,Before it’s been a big change for them. However thanks to our incredible Dr. DavisWe are able to take walks through Central Park down the street and our dogs adjusting very well to prescribed treatment. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that works at Gotham you do amazing work!!!!!!
I paid for a private cremation of my 20 year old cat and they f’ed up and did communal and now I cannot get her ashes back. I’m beyond heartbroken. I followed up diligently week after week and I kept getting the answer someone will call you back. Finally got the return call today that they f’ed up. I can’t trust them with my other 20 year old cat when he has to go down so I’ll be switching vets. They are understaffed and overwhelmed. I’m so extremely disappointed.
Gotham Vet is amazing. Bonnie and Patricia were so amazing. We adopted a puppy mill mother and she was very broken. But with Patricias fantastic dentistry and Bonnies professionalism and big heart, we now have a happy and healthy little one. We are so grateful to this place. Couldnt have chosen better.
I actually switched to Bonnie Brown when she was working at another vets office because she is so good with pets and people. Ive had my dogs for 7 years now and Gotham Vet/Bonnie is only vet I use for them -- and theyve had their share of veterinary services, especially my little puppy mill rescue. The Center also has a very good and competent dentist (would you believe it, a dog dentist). Dr. Pat was superb in the manner she handled my rescues very difficult dental problems, and was excellent in explaining the procedure and follow-up. But of course, like all NYC and upper west side pet services, its a bit expensive - thats just the nature of living in NYC.
I have been using Dr. Bonnie Brown as Vet for my Bernese Mt. Dog ever since he was a puppy. I have 10000% confidence in her and the staff at Gotham for all of my pets needs. They have always been caring, responsible, attentive and accessible to me even during emergency situations when we were out of the area. I wish every medical professional was as good as they are and I know that my dog is getting the best and most thorough care when he is there.
I love our Vet. The staff and assistants at Gotham, too. They all make you feel like they really love your pets. The first appointment they even take a picture of your pet. Dr. Bonnie Brown is wonderful and very knowledgable. She really takes time to discuss all my pets health needs from teeth cleaning to diet.
I am so happy that the Gotham Vet Center opened near my house. I have never found a vet that I have been really happy with until now. The premises are light and cheerful, the staff friendly and the care outstanding. My puppy has not had any serious illnesses so far and looks forward to going there. If a crisis arises, I will have full confidence in the care of these Veterinarians.
I have always had nothing but a positive experience at Gotham. The reception team is always extremely helpful and friendly and I have never had to wait for an appointment. My dog has seen Dr. Horvat, their dentist, numerous times and I’m not sure I would trust his teeth to anyone else. Dr. Horvat has always gone above and beyond for PJ and you can tell he really loves and cares for animals and his job.My dog also recently saw Dr. Davis. She too wasIncredibly caring and even reachable via email on her day off. Thanks for providing great caring service Gotham!
Im a dog trainer on the Upper West Side and I refer many of my clients to Gotham. The staff is knowledgable and friendly. Ive been there with emergencies, injuries and routine visits and have always been pleased. One thing I really appreciate about Gotham is the fact that they consult with clients first without pushing expensive, possibly unnecessary treatment options on to dog & cat owners. Some of my clients and friends have very sophisticated, sometimes holistic approaches to their pets health. I find Gotham respects those philosophies and works with clients to provide the safest, most effective treatments that also respect the point of view of the owner. Ill continue to refer friends and clients here...and look forward to the continuing stream of positive feedback that is always a result. Awesome!!
Gotham Vet and Dr. Bonnie Brown are simply the best in NYC and beyond. Dr. Brown and her team have taken care of my dachshund, Girlie, for almost 10 years, and she has both treated serious, life-threatening issues, diagnosed and helped to prevent other illnesses or conditions, and never tried to push us into procedures that we dont need. In fact, she has worked with me and my overly-anxious nature to reassure me and help me avoid unnecessary tests and expenses. Patricia is a tremendous part of the Gotham team, and provides thorough, safe, excellent dental care for my dog. She has done an annual cleaning for Girlie each year for the past five years or more, and weve been able to keep my dogs mouth and overall wellbeing healthy! I love the before and after photos that are provided and the expert and safe approach used. Couldnt recommend Gotham more highly - they are five stars plus!
I recommend Gotham Vet Center to everyone. They have been wonderful with my Dog. He is like my child and I wouldnt trust him to just anyone. He has been well cared for and the doctors followed up with calls. When I called with concerns they called back quickly. The ladies at the Front Desk are terrific, friendly , and super helpfulPam Freeman
We started to use Gotham Vet early this year when our dog got sick with diarrhea and late on with soft tissue injury and every single time the girls at the front desk are so warm and welcoming. They make both owner and dog feel comfortable. The doctors are very good and caring and always return our calls.
My dog was sick during this period of social distancing. I called Gotham Veterinary Center for an appointment, but I was very nervous about going into their office. When I explained that to them, they offered for a tech to come outside and take the dog into the examining room. I went home and they called to discuss her condition. I gave them a credit card on the phone so that I didnt have to encounter the office staff when I picked her up. After about an hour they called again to say she was ready to go home. When I arrived again a tech brought her outside to me. I was so relieved both for the way they handled this delicate situation and for the care they gave her during this stressful period. Thank you Dr. Brown.
I have used several veterinary centers in the past but none compared to the staff professionals at Gotham Veterinary center! Under Dr Connie Browns tutelage, Dr Davis, Dr Jacobs, and Im sure the whole medical team, are extremely professional, thoughtful, patient, and kind of spirit. The care, and treatment my dog Dessie receives is top draw. They take time to explain all to me and even make follow calls to see how my dog is doing. The desk staff fast, and are kind to all. no matter how busy it is. Wish there were a 6th star so I can click on it!
Ive been going to Gotham since we moved to NYC 5 years ago. The staff is kind, professional, and passionate about what they do, and it really shows in the way they make each of your pets feel special. The care is top notch, and no matter what your pets needs may be, they have the resources and specialists to make sure your pet gets the best care possible. Im speaking from experience going through a difficult time with one my own pets who had a terminal illness. The compassion and genuine love they have for animals is a comfort all on its own and knowing your pet is in good hands with them. Patricia, the dental specialist, is amazing. Dr. Carbonell and Dr. Brown are the best.
For the past 12 years my cats have received superb care from Dr. Bonnie Brown in her several previous locations and most recently in her own extraordinary facility, Gotham Veterinary Center. Here everyone on staff - technical support people, front desk personnel, vet techs, one and all - convey professionalism, competence, and caring. The place is immaculate, modern, and inviting. Dr. Brown, at the helm, is a superb clinician and diagnostician. She is up to date or ahead of the crowd on research, trends, and practices in veterinary medicine. She has a lovely manner and an ability to be very gentle yet firm when necessary. I always feel that my cats are receiving the best care possible from a professional who truly loves them.Dr. Brown understands and respects my feelings about treatment. To manage the illness of one of my cats, she and her capable assistants taught me to administer injections and medications and gave me the courage to do so daily at home. When enough was enough, Dr. Brown helped me come to the most difficult decision and compassionately supported what I knew was best for my failing cat.I always feel I can rely totally on Dr. Browns judgment and care, and I greatly appreciate the responsiveness of her entire staff to all situations that arise.
Our former vet was gone and we had two very elderly cats who were quite ill, so out first experience with Gotham was unfortunately euthanasia, but Dr. Carbonell was very gentle and caring and gave us all the time we needed to get by. She is now to doctor to our two crazy kittens (well, almost one year olds) and saw us through major surgery on Leroys leg (most expensive pound kitty ever). I couldnt recommend them more. The people at Playground Pups told us about the practice, and we are totally happy with it.
Gotham Vet is a godsend for all of us who know that our pets are family. The person and the pet are always treated with kindness,, respect and professionalism from the wonderful staff in the reception area and all the medical staff. I cannot imagine going anywhere else. Thank all of you.
Im happy to add my voice to the chorus singing praises for Gotham Vet. Our tiny Yorkshire Terrier just finished her intense dental work there. I felt well guided through the process, knew just what would be happening and when, and was well apprised of what I should expect to pay. They even were happy to work out a payment plan outside of their usually prescribed methods, so be sure to ask about that if you need it!My only qualm is that I felt that the prices were significantly higher than they needed to be, but obviously since Im still giving them full marks in the end I found it to be worth it. Dr. Patricia is the perfect dental veterinarian.
My review was not a good one. We are not the only patients who feel the Front Desk at Gotham is always filled with staff who really are not gracious or listeners. Its pay this, Pay that, etc. goodbye. Well there is so much competition out there, Gothams proximity is no longer going to be the major attraction. Your vets, so far, are excellent...and then it ends.
Bonnie Brown is unequivocally the BEST vet in NYC! Ive followed her through 3 practices until she founded her own (beautiful office, fully staffed with welcoming, efficient techs and clean as a whistle). My cats actually kiss her, cuddle and purr on visits...cant get better recommendation that that LOL! The dental technician Patricia took excellent care of both kitties teeth so they are now pain free and will have long happy lives. Cant really give Gotham Veterinary Center adequate praise...PURR PURR KISSES kind of sums it up...i.e. love my happy healthy kitties, this is ONLY vet I can take them to who provides free comfort of mind :-)
My dog has issues with his thyroid level and has to have his blood checked frequently. Today I took time off work because I was told no tech appointments are available on weekends - I guess its techs who take blood. Once there, I asked to have his ears checked because I think theyre infected. Oh no, we cant do that. This is a tech appointment. Only a doctor can check his ears. Youll have to make another appointment. Maybe I should have been told when I made the appointment, Your pet will not receive any actual care at this appointment, so dont bother asking. Time to find a vet who cares more about its clients than its rigid and expensive policies.
Dr. Brown has been a doctor for all our dogs (3 Bulldogs and a Scottish Terrier) for almost 20 years. We moved with her from the older hospital to Gotham and it is great to see the change - the great and clean facility, very friendly, knowledgable and efficient staff that cares about your pets.
Came to Gotham for an emergency, as I couldnt get to my regular vet of 8 years. I couldnt be more pleased/surprised with how welcoming, responsive, caring and professional everyone was - to a new patient. This is a wonderful and well-run practice, with great followup.
This past weekend my dog ingested onions and I called the clinic for help/guidance.The person on the phone could not verify my information. I realized that during my desperation I called the wrong clinic, but I still thought that they would advise me on what to do.To my surprise the person on the phone suggested that I should call my clinic given that I’m not a customer. She did not even gave me the option to bring my dog to their facilities.I stressed that the situation was time sensitive but she completely refused to provide any kind of help.I think it’s important to share my story as it goes to show the ‘ethics’ of this clinic.I completely understand the fact that I’m not a customer, however, the refusal to help saving the life of my little dog is anything but cruel.
I have been taking my dog to Dr. Brown for more than 6 years and I have absolutely no complaints. Dr. Brown is so caring and understanding. She understands how our pets are our family and she treats them as such. Shes also very honest about what procedures are necessary vs. what can wait. When Dr. Brown is not available, Ive taken my dog to see Dr. Carbonell and have also had a great experience with her.I dont think you can go wrong with this practice. Everyone truly cares about the animals.
I always have received incredible and professional service from all the Vet doctors and staff. My dog, Kiko, recently had some problems. Not only did Dr. Jacobs give a thorough physical exam, she took the time to look at Kikos eyes specifically to see the extent of the damage due to cataracts and not only took a urine sample she examined but went the extra mile to do a urinary culture as well. She followed up with me soon as the test results came in and left an in depth voicemail message.I have been to Gotham Veterinary many time in the last several years and have consistently received superior service.I recommend them highly and wouldnt even think of going elsewhere for my babies care.
I have been to many many vets in NYC, and hands down, Gotham Veterinary Center is the best place to bring your pet. The vets are all extremely knowledgeable and compassionate, and it is also much more affordable than other veterinarians Ive been to. I will never go anywhere else!
Gotham Veterinary Center has won me over in the short time I’ve been going there. In early September I switched from another practice because a friend, whose cat has asthma, highly recommended Dr. Carbonell, a Gotham vet, who had treated her cat. One of mine was exhibiting asthmatic symptoms.I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Dr. Carbonell and the rest of the staff at Gotham, all of whom have been very friendly, helpful, and patient. From the start, Dr. Carbonell proceeded with caution and explained various options very clearly. She is clearly very knowledgeable and her manner has encouraged me to ask questions, which has not always been the case with previous vets. In addition, she’s been available and incredibly responsive to my email updates on Tiger Lily’s condition, which has helped me remain calm. While, clearly, the most important thing about a vet is her medical knowledge, expertise, and experience, it doesn’t hurt to have one who’s also great with human beings. I feel like Tiger Lily and I are in great hands at Gotham Veterinary.
Very friendly staff who attend to you and your pet promptly. Superb vets who take the time to allow your pet to get comfortable, and who are willing and ready to answer any questions. You never ever feel rushed or that your concerns have not been attended to. Very happy with Gotham Veterinary Center!
I have been a client of Bonnie Browns since 2002. I find her to be the most intelligent, compassionate and informed vet I have ever had the pleasure of taking my dogs to.On those specialty matters she has referred me out for, she stays in touch and is genuinely concerned for my dogs health. I am never made to feel like there are alternate agendas, i.e. being sold products or services that are not relevant or needed. She is the consummate professional. I wish we could clone her! That said, I also like the vets in her practice I have seen when she is unavailable.
My little dog had a major stomach upset this past week and I took her to Gotham because I feared dehydration. We didnt have an appointment, but we arrived right when they opened at 8:30. Everyone was so kind and they saw her very quickly. They were so attentive to her needs and they calmed my nerves. Thank you so much to everyone at Gotham for their quick and thorough work and for their care for me and my furry kid.
I had never been to Gotham before. I had a sick chihuahua and Linda at the front desk squeezed me in the same day. Dr. Purcell was not only kind and patient with my dog she was very thorough and took the time to sit with me and answer any questions I had. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I will be making the switch to Gotham for both my dogs!
What can I say? I have followed Dr. Bonnie Brown for a number of years around Manhattan until she has landed at her own well-tended practice. Do you want unparalleled veterinary skills coupled with great instincts and focused attention? How about a front desk that is professional but warm? Can you handle a tech group that has synced their capabilities so well that you and your pet know that you are in the most capable hands? Then you are in the right place. I can unreservedly recommend any doctors under this roof as well. Run- do not walk- your pet will thank you.
They made me spend 1500$ to tell me my dog had diarrhea.A spay surgery with Gotham is ~900$ whereas, with Westside, its ~600$, including an overnight stay for the latter.Ok, so I am only writing this review after I have been to another Veterinary center (Westside Veterinary Hospital, if anyones interested), and have something to compare it to. I have a six month old pup. A month ago, her leg started hurting, she started limping. What I now assume happened was that she hurt herself playing while I was out of the house. I didnt know that then, and I was concerned. I took her to the Gotham. They did an X ray, they did a radiology, they did a fecal test - saying that the problem could be internal and the pain could be manifesting outside. All together, for two trips to Gotham, I spent 1500$. They could tell me nothing conclusive, but that my best friend had diarrhea, which I could see myself, everyday. In the meantime, her sprain healed, on its own. They hadnt given me any pain medication, just something for her diarrhea, which did not heal while she was on their medication. Afterwards, the multivitamin company they partner with, kept on spamming me asking me to subscribe to them. They only stopped after I told them I was not happy with Gotham, I had switched vets, and I wanted to unsubscribe from their listserv. I write this review to tell you that all vets are not the same, and that Westside, where I go now, is fantastic, they are professional, very clear and conclusive about what to expect. I had Euphoria, thats my dogs name, I had her in for a spay surgery, they called me before and after it was done. They called me to let me know when to pick her up. They answered my calls when I followed up to check on her, and checked on her for me, no complaint.Bottom line: Do not trust Gotham Veterinary Center.
Weve been going to Gotham Vet Center for years and I honestly think its gone downhill. Were definitely thinking of changing veterinary clinics, and thats a shame because weve actually had generally great experiences with the vets themselves. Dr. Ward was our vet for awhile and she was wonderful and our current vet is also very good. But there have been multiple mistakes made on the part of the support staff (front desk and vet techs) that leave us feeling worried about the quality of care we are receiving. As an example: We once brought our dog in for a vaccine and asked that her anal glands be squeezed and her nails be trimmed while she was there. The vet tech brought her back out to us and we asked if there were any precautions we needed to take or any signs we needed to watch out for regarding the vaccination. The vet tech then brought our dog to the back room saying they forgot to take her temperature. It was obvious they forgot to actually administer the vaccine, which was the reason for the appointment. Our dog has had multiple procedures done there. On most occasions weve been given pain killers and antibiotics. But one time, they only gave us painkillers. Considering its been the same procedure on 3 different occasions, its clear they forgot to prescribe antibiotics after one of them, which is worrisome. There have been multiple billing mistakes (including a rather large mistake) that weve had to rectify. The support staff take a long time to submit claims to pet insurance and we constantly have to follow up, which means our reimbursements for expensive procedures take a long time to come. And, the front desk staff (some of them - not all of them) are often quite rude (theres one woman in particular...). We havent wanted to bite the bullet and make the switch because we do like the veterinarians, but after multiple occurrences like the ones Ive noted above, I dont think we can feel confident continuing to bring our dog there.
When we brought home our 2-year-old rescue dog last July, we picked Gotham as our veterinary center based on the great Yelp reviews. They are even better than the reviews indicated. Everyone under that roof really gets animals and the humans who bring them in. The quality of care is superb, and I can trust them in their recommendations re insurance, flea protection, etc. Maxs doctor, Dr. Carbonell, is a GREAT clinician. My guess is you will love your doctor too. Its that kind of place. You just cant go wrong.BTW, heres a puzzle: You know veterinary medicine is much harder than human internal medicine, yes? So how is it that delivery of veterinary health care in the US is so much better than human health care? A smart policy analyst would do a study.
Charley, our Standard Poodle of 15 years recently died. He would have been dead 4 years earlier if it wasnt for Dr. Bonnie Brown and her team; on a routine visit my wife pointed out that Charley behaved weirdly and had a swollen belly. Dr. Brown immediately examined him thoroughly and found a five pound hematoma on his spleen. Six hours later, the same day, Charley came out from surgery safe and sound. This is just one example of the excellent treatments Charley got for many years. He didnt like going to the groomer, but was always happy going to Gotham Vet Center, liking all the people working there.Dr. Brown is a very knowledgeable, caring and compassionate vet and human being. And we will bring our new Standard Poodle puppy to her, absolutely confident in her and her staffs ability to help us in the future.
Dr. Brown and staff are top notch. They are a great team of knowledgeable people with warmth and compassion. My dog is actually happy to come here, and Ive never had less than a completely pleasant experience. Its wonderful to have found a vet who cares so much about pets and their owners.
Dr. Brown and her crew are the best veterinarians in New York which is why I have been seeing them since practically the day the facility opened, for any malady my dog may have. This includes physicals and also the various things that come up during the year. Unlike many offices, the front desk can tell when it seems like you would like an urgent appointment. (They are also flexible with regular appointments.) And the ones who have been there a while recognize you from the phone. From walking in when they address your dog by name, to the techs who make your dog comfortable, to of course the vets who take care to call up your dogs computer file and then listen to your issue and take the time to explain what they would like to do, from A-to-Z you feel like you are in good hands. Dr. Brown has set up a sterling operation and then hired great people as vets and techs and support staff...and it always strikes me as funny and fortunate that my dog does not get nervous when we go there but looks forward to seeing the fun vets and soothing techs.
This is an atrocious vet and will fraudulently bill you for extra work you did not know was going to happen or consent to. In 2016, my cat had routine senior bloodwork. Over a year later, I was billed $143 extra for a test I never was quoted for and the results of which I never received. I disputed this, didnt hear back from them for a year, and now, 2 years after the alleged test, I finally received the records which showed my cats blood work was entirely normal and didnt even require this extra test - AND that test usually costs no more than $92 (I called around - most vets do it standard in a blood panel. Its a thyroid test.) I was told the manager would call me about this issue, since I have zero record of this payment, but instead they sent me to collections. At least I know they wont get the full amount now since collections takes most of the money.Dont go here. Go to Symphony Vet. They are a far, far better vet. I switched to them waaaaay before this all happened because Gotham ALSO ignored the wasting and high blood counts of my OTHER cat, who ended up having cancer and needing treatment. Symphony caught that, not Gotham.Do not go here.
Our cats have been coming here for a decade. One recently developed tummy troubles (he is 14) + the vets have been so incredibly helpful, responsive even to the smallest inquiry, + quick to fit him in. Dr. Rosen is a gem.We will say its expensive, but we find their prices to be comparable + their service truly unmatched.
I was so glad to easily get an appointment during this pandemic. My 20 year old cat got her nails cut and also was examined. I greatly appreciated how Dr. Brown consulted with me, and together we agreed on how to best move ahead. Safety and security steps were carefully taken.
Gotham Veterinary Center is a wonderful place. I took my cat Heidi to see Dr. Etter who diagnosed her as having asthma. He outlined several possible scenarios and and courses of action and let me decide which road to take. How wonderful after having dealt with vets who try to guilt you into taking the most expensive route. The facility is clean, quiet and calm and the vet techs transformed my usually squirmy squirrelly girl into placid little lady. I will be bringing her back in for her check up soon and will also bring in her roommate Teddy. I really am happy to have found this place!
Gotham Veterinary Center is a first class center on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.. I have been taking my dog ChaCha to Dr. Brown for the last couple of years. ChaCha and I could not be happier with the expertise and kindness of the staff.Beatty Cohan, MSW, LCSW, AASECT
Id had a dreadful experience with another UWS veterinary practice, but Gotham really made up for it! They offered me an immediate appointment when I called, explaining that my Korat was vomiting. Noodle was examined, had xrays and bloods done, and given meds for her gastritis. Dr Shapard was thorough and gentle with her, and gave me a clear explanation of all possible causes (most of which were ruled out by the lab work), as well as recommendations for at home treatment. I couldnt be more pleased, and plan to bring Dumpling (Noodles sister) in soon for a meet & greet, and will continue their regular care at Gotham. Many thanks to the entire staff.
Gotham has been my dogs vet for years now, and I know I can rely on them for anything, theyll give her the best care, she had surgery there, it went really well, and I really appreciated the follow up phone calls to let us know how the surgery went and the sheet explaining care after surgery. Totally recommend that place!
Our Westie was new to Gotham when she came in after a night of vomiting. The wonderful Dr. Shapard had already looked at her medical history so she really knew everything about our 2-year-old girl, which impressed me. But when an X-ray she ordered showed a foreign object in her stomach that was causing the distress, Dr. Shapard immediately sent us to an emergency surgeon. Minutes were not wasted. Everything was set up when we got there and the object was removed via scope surgery that night. We are so grateful to the thoroughness of Dr. Shapard and Gotham. We have her to thank for our darling girls life.
Ive taken my pets to Bonnie Brown through several different vet. practices and love her new quarters on 95th and Columbus. But Id follow her to the East Village if I had to. Shes knowledgeable, practical, caring and everything else you want the person who cares for your pets to be. Even my orneriest cats have loved Bonnie. I have a brother who is a vet in Texas, and I always discuss Bonnies diagnoses with him. He approves too. The people in the practice are all as caring as she is and as anxious to make a visit there as satisfying as it can be as she is.
I have been to several veterinary practices in Brooklyn over 15 years and I now drive all the way to the upper west side to take my cats to Gotham. I love this place, and the caring, sensitive, knowledgeable staff. Patricia Dominguez and Dr Lippman are top notch and just a pleasure to deal with. I am so thankful I found this center!
I took my cat in for constipation, as well as a general check-up. Dr. Vanessa Hammer was incredibly helpful in explaining all the details of what they would do to help Mr. Frost. I have been to several vets in the past and this is by far the best experience Ive had. She explained not only the procedures, but why they would be beneficial and showed all cost estimates upfront. She then took the time to talk about how I could help him with minor diet adjustments and other things that truly showed the measure of her commitment to making sure I felt comfortable with the handling of my furry BFF. Would give 6 stars.
Gotham vet center are a bunch of incompetent scam artists. They dont remember you or your pet, their receptionist is rude and bad at his job. Ive been a customer since 2012 and it has gotten so bad in the last year, I am done. You sit on hold for at least 10 minutes every time you call, only to be rushed off and not given important details about your pets care that might be life threatening. For instance, I was not informed that a vaccine my dog needed would not go into effect until he gets another booster 3 weeks later, making the prospect of taking him on vacation with me this weekend one that is potentially life threatening as he will now not be protected against the prevalent danger of Lyme disease where we are going. If the useless, rude, incompetent receptionist had taken more than 30 seconds to talk to me, I might have been able to find that out but since he is SO busy, I am now facing this situation. This same gentleman has tried to sell me the wrong flea and heart worm medication so many times that I went to 1800 pet meds, and it took a combined effort of theirs and mine over the course of 4 days to fill my prescription. He even lied to me and told me nothing had come in when 1800petmeds sent me copies of the multiple faxes they sent to Gotham. This man is single-handedly destroying your practice, and has officially lost you another customer today- a lucrative 3 pet household. I knew Gotham was a busy place, but I have never felt this underserved and this overlooked on such basic customer service. Im going to take my pets somewhere that will actually care for them. Im just glad Im making that decision now before my pets are very old and in need of more advanced care.
Gotham Veterinary is an extraordinary resource for pets and their owners in NYC.Bonnie Brown VMD founded Gotham – a state of the art facility – in 2009 after 20 years of working in veterinary medicine in New York. The facility is impeccably maintained – eat off the floor clean. The front office staff and technicians are calm, helpful and friendly. I also appreciate that they always check with the medical staff regarding questions and follow-through with the answers. Our story with Dr. Bonnie Brown:I met Bonnie Brown when she was making a house call for a friend’s senior golden retriever with mobility issues. I was immediately impressed with her compassion, thorough care, and willingness to go the extra mile. My puppy, a Cavalier King Charles named “Fiona,” and I began to see Dr. Brown as Fiona’s primary care vet.For the past almost fifteen years, I found the care that Fiona received from Dr. Brown to meet all of our needs and surpass any of my expectations. I appreciated her moderate approach to wellness care – consistently high level but without excessive vaccinations. When things went wrong, whether it was a simple “in discriminatory dietary choice” (i.e. she snagged something on street when I was looking the other way), or an injury requiring an orthopedic specialist for a disc issue, Dr. Brown was always immediately responsive with the right treatment, or a direct connection to an accomplished specialist. At one point, Fiona had an irregular blood test result which was concerning. Dr. Brown consulted a research scientist and discovered that the condition which could have caused excessive bleeding in many breeds did not have the same effect in Cavaliers – a little known fact. Talk about using all of the tools in her kit to find the right answers for each animal she treats! The last year was difficult for my senior girl, with increasing mobility issues. After neurological testing, it was determined that she has a progressive spinal fluid issue. There was no real medical treatment that seemed appropriate for a dog of her age. Initially Dr. Brown helped me with common sense suggestions to make our apartment a more manageable environment. An example: yoga mats to provide traction. As time went on she monitored her health to be sure that she was as comfortable as possible and suggested various mobility aids. When the end came, on May 13th 2014, there was no one that I would have wanted to take my little sidekick on her final journey than Dr. Bonnie Brown. She was, as always, professional, clear, capable, caring - and compassionate to us both. We were all together for the final time - Team Fiona.I can not recommend Gotham Veterinary and Dr. Bonnie Brown, more highly.
Do yourself and your pet a favor and DO NOT GO TO GOTHAM VET!!!!!! Extremely unprofessional. Failed to fill my pets vital medication and did not communicate a supposed update to their policy that it can take up to 4 days to approve/call in a medication to a pharmacy. I have previously gotten medication same day on numerous occasions. These pills prevent seizers in my pet and it’s unacceptable that they failed to fill it.
Its a new world & they seem to be adapting well to it. Distancing is in place; once you check in, the vet whos treating your pet calls you & does the intake over the phone. Then a tech comes out to get your pet; then I waited outside until they were done. Theyve always treated Lola well & given her great care.
I used this vet for my dog for about 3 years. I didnt really have any issue untill now, but my dog never had a problem either. Last summer I needed to travel, therefore I put my dog in a boarding facility. I needed the bordetella vaccine for that and I brought him to the Gotham. They gave him one year vaccine shot that made him imp for two days.Few days ago, I was traveling again and the facility called me to alert me that the bordetella expired. I called the vet asking about the bordetella for boarding my dog, specifying that the facility told me they had records stating that it expired. They assured me that the bordetella didnt expire, and sent me the certificate stating my dog was covered.ITwo days after, I went to drop off my dog, but the facility didnt take him because, as I discovered on the spot, NY Law requires a 6 moths vaccine and NOT the 1 year coverage. I am not a vet, so at the moment it didnt make a lot of sense... My vet assured me he was covered, and not only for 6 months, but one entire year! The facility showed me the law, and after that I made some research online. The six month vaccine is a spray, its less aggressive and more effective beause it is given every 6 moths! Therefore I complaint with the vet, and they replied that the two vaccines were equivalent, stating that it was the facilitys decition to not take the dog while other facilities would do it. When I insited, showing the NY LAW (2014) that FORBID ANY facility to board the dog without that specific vaccine, they just replied that they are not responsible for the information they give. This costed me an entire weekend trip that I planed to attend one of my best friends wedding. Moreover, I paid to give a vaccine to my dog that hurted him for not specific reason, and I obviously paied more for that.I would discourage anybody to use this vet.
There is no better care than Gotham Vet Center! Period! For the last half of our wonderful Ollie-the Mayor of Central Park dog world-Ollie was cared for by Dr Bonnie Brown, who was careful to only give shots after testing Ollies blood to determine if he did indeed need a booster rather than blindly giving shot after shot like most other Vets do.Ollie passed away last Sunday after an amazingly healthy, happy and very fruitful with LOVE Life. He was bounding around one moment and two hours later suffered a seizure and died in my arms. I am convinced he enjoyed his long life because of the expert care of Dr Bonnie Brown and our loving home of course! ...And two hours a day off lead in Central Park didnt hurt either!Thank you so much Gotham Vet Center for all you do for NYC animal community!
They are absolutely fantastic here. They were willing to work with me on a payment system, had flexible hours to accommodate my busy work schedule, and spent a great deal of time talking to me about my pet and her health plan. I worked with Dr. Davis, who is newer to the practice, and she was truly amazing and helped make a tough situation with my pet more manageable.
Patricia Dominguez is a fantastic animal dentist! My 13 yr old cat Enzo was in desperate need of help with his teeth and she took amazing care of him. I was worried about putting an older cat thru the type of surgery required, his teeth were rotten & gums badly diseased. But Patricia was very professional and explained the procedure thoroughly, she really put me at ease. She even called me to update me throughout the procedure. Enzo has breezed through the surgery and recovery with flying colors. So worth it! Great thing is that many pet insurance cos are now covering dental preventative measures/cleanings. it makes an immense difference in your cat/dogs life! Thank you Patricia! Also, Dr. Bonnie is terrific with our dog and 2 cats. Very trusted service.
Our experience here has been amazing. They deserve more than 5 stars. At the beginning we were a little nervous with all the testing that was needed for our little maltese dog, now we understand that all that was done was necessary in order to be able to help her. Dr. Carbonell was very helpful and patient with me, going over every detail so I can understand what is going on. We have not met anyone like Patricia; her passion for animal dentistry is amazing!!! I am so glad I read the reviews and decided to take Snowy to this veterinary (from NJ to NY). They spayed Snowy due to an infection in her uterus and cured her periodontal disease, she was suffering a lot due to an infection in her gums and tongue besides other issues in her mouth and thanks to them she is a happy dog now. During surgery, Dr. Carbonell, Dwight and Patricia called me to update me on how Snowy was doing; it was great because we were very anxious. After surgery, they gave me more updates and Patricia sent me pictures and videos of Snowys progress. We knew every detail during the few days she was there.Dwight also worked with me in the financial side; he was very understanding and helpful, going out of his way to help. Im glad we chose them to take care of Snowy.I dont think anyone could have done a better job. If your pet has major dental issues, please see Patricia, she is simply the best! Thank you all for your help, love and for pampering Snowy every minute she was there. We have all the before surgery photos of Snowys mouth and teeth. It was great to finally understand what she was going through. Great people to work with.
Patricia Dominguez is a phenomenal veterinary dentist. I adopted my dog and took her in for her first check-up. To my surprise, I learned that she was missing many teeth, and many more needed to be extracted (the rescue group underestimated her age juussttt a tad). Dr. Dominguez walked me through everything, answered every stupid question I had, and showed such care and attention to my pup. I was in contact with the team every step of the way through the procedure, and even got a booklet printed out after it was done with before/after photos and descriptions of what the procedure entailed. The nursing team that stays overnight with the animals is also fantastic, and welcomed me to come sit with my dog in the evening after she was out of surgery. I cant recommend Dr. Dominguez and her team highly enough.
Well --- after 17 years with my cat Eevee --- it was her time. The staff were compassionate. The doctor wanted to be certain and did tests to determine if there were any way to heal Eevee. Then my options were discussed without judgement, facts were given and questions answered directly and with kindness. I took my time. and with the help of the doctor, decided to let her go --- BOO HOO. I had called 4 or 5 veterinary centers and these guys were both affordable and compassionate.
Gotham Vet Care is the only place that I will take my pets to and I live near Hells Kitchen, so going here is a hike for me, but worth it. I followed Dr. Bonnie Brown from City Vet Care, when she opened Gotham because she was not only the best vet, but also the most caring.
I went here for the first time to put down my dog of 14 years. I came in with her and immediately they knew who we were, put us in a room and allowed me privacy to grieve.they didnt rush me to leave when it was over and the entire staff from the receptionist on up were extremely kind and considerate. The pricing for the service was also the best I could find in my research. I feel in love with this place and will return there with any future pets
They are okay as doctors After my cat was seen as given medication I has questions, the staff was awful when I called It took 2 days for someone to call me back and when the dr did call she was annoyed that she had to callIt turned out the medication given to me was wrong. There are many other vets for cats that are so much better I was stuck because of COVID my vet has been closed
The Staff at the Front Desk are the most friendly and compassionate , Bonnie Brown and Christina Carbonell are the best and knowledgeable Veterinarians in the City .. I recommend all my friends and new pet parents to Gotham Veterinary Center for their companion animals needs and care ..
ANY CONCERNS I HAVE HAD I DIDNT HESITATE TO CALL GOTHAM AND THE STAFF WOULD GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO EXPLAIN AND REASSURE ME ON ANY DECISIONS I HAD TO MAKE ABOUT MY PET DOG. WEVE GONE THROUGH MANY HEALTH SCARES TOGETHER AND THEY WERE LIKE MY EXTENDED FAMILY, GOING THROUGH IT WITH ME AS WE GOT MY DOG THROUGH IT ALL. WEVE HAD MANY YEARS WITH GOTHAM AND WE ARE STILL GOING STRONG.

2022-02-09I cant say enough about Dr. Bonnie Brown and Gothom Vet. I am convinced my senior dog is alive after a crisis because of their above and beyond care. I never had to wait long to be seen, and the staff was so helpful and communicative through out the whole ordeal. I love how they would come out and talk to you (safely with masks) when I was left standing out in the cold during Covid at my last vet. Dr. Brown is knowledgeable and caring, and my doggy is still here. I am eternally grateful.

2022-02-11Ive been bringing Pawsie here for a couple of years, and yesterday they were amazing! I needed Paws to be seen quickly and of course I was terrified about her being so sick (thyroid issue.) They scheduled Paws to be seen by Dr. Brown, and I have to say that she was amazing. I was really freaking out, and Dr. Brown not only helped Paws feel better, and knew what needed to be done for Paws treatment, she was also kind, calming, and compassionate. Everyone who works there are amazing and Im beyond grateful that they were there when Pawsie and I needed them the most!

2022-07-22On a recent trip to Gotham Veterinary on Columbus Ave. my two year old French Bulldog, Becky was scheduled for a routine vaccination. Becky loves to kiss. She will jump up to plant one on your lips. I dont know of any dogs that love to be vaccinated, but that is exactly what her response was to the tech who gave her the vaccination. What better seal of approval from a happy dog. We love the care we get from the vets at Gotham.

2022-02-17The quality of care at Gotham Veterinary is outstanding. I have an older dog who presents with an array of problems and each of the vets, with whom I interacted clearly demonstrated care and expertise. The staff are consistently friendly and pleasant.

2021-11-21I have been going to Gotham Veterinary Center since it opened years ago. I have always received expert care from everyone, from the office staff to the nurses and of course, the veterinarians. Bonnie Brown is an amazing Vet who I have known since before she opened Gotham Veterinary Center. Bonnie has cared for my pets for the better part of the last twenty years. Shes knowledgeable, professional, caring, understanding, friendly, down-to-earth and responsive. I would be hard pressed to find one negative thing to say about Bonnie Brown as well as the entire practice.

2022-05-04I would highly recommend! A big improvement over my other vet. The vet sat and spoke with me twice about my dog, which helped me see she wanted to work together and get my information to best support him. She also was honest and fair, not ordering unnecessary procedures that my old vet had recommended. I was in and out in 40 or so minutes, even as a new patient!

2022-06-18Do you ever wonder why there is not one negative review for Gothum veterinary center? Because they monitor all their reviews and they take off all the bad reviews like they’re probably going to take mine off which I’ll keep checking. Many of my friends in the neighborhood used to go to this vet and put up their own thoughts which were negative and of course they’ve disappeared probably taken off by Gothum. I took my dog there yesterday for a check up and they gave me a vet which I later found out the next day was a temporary vet that comes in once every two weeks. That was not acceptable to me and so I voice my opinion but they kept telling me that I was shouting at them. To make a long story short when this one girl called me back Mary Mansfield all she kept saying to me is stop yelling at me when I was just trying to explain to her my situation. So that was unacceptable. One would want to have a consistent vet to follow the history of one’s pet. Of course she had to give me the history of how hard it is to find Vets so already she had her self covered. Anyway I would not recommend this practice at all I think they were rude they also hung up on me and that is unacceptable again. One last thing and one of the most important things is that I also went to get my dog a rabies shot and the vet that I saw said why don’t you come back next week seeing that your dog is not feeling well. Then I ask for a report if they could email me everything on my dogs history (as I am now going to change Vets) and I see that my dog is not due for a rabies shot until 2023 so she never even looked at my chart. That says it all!

2022-03-27I switched to Gotham when I moved neighborhoods in about January 2021 and have been very pleased with them. Their doctors are knowledgeable and communicative and their staff is good. My dog had one illness and, while they could not be certain what it was, they treated it effectively. They also have a great dentist who did surgery on my shih tsu, which I had been told a few years earlier at a different practice might become necessary. He spent a lot of time with me, showed me the before and after xrays and seemed to do a very good job, and at the follow up a year later he said all looked good and there were no additional charges, even for the visit. All in all a good vets office.

2022-09-13I have been with Dr. Brown for years, for both my cats and my dogs. Before I met her, I had many bad experiences with other vets. I have only had positive experiences with her and with the practice.
