The MSW program here is a complete joke and does nothing to prepare students for any kind of clinical social work. Some of my peers have essentially failed the class, doing maybe half the assignments, but still get “passing” grades crying to the admission. Speaking of the administration, they only care about taking your money, they seem to have zero interest in producing competent social workers.If you ever see a therapist that went to Fordham, run away. If you want to actually learn social work, look elsewhere.

They need to do so much work for a school that is supposed to be preparing social workers to work with oppressed people. I have never experienced as much racism in a school setting as I’ve experienced at Fordham GSSS.
