The woman’s bathroom must have a sewage leak or something, every time we go which is usually pretty often until now is always bad but this time I literally threw up from the smell, they have to know how bad it is there’s no way around it. Also if the waitresses could not stare at you constantly that would be great 👌
We went here on a Sunday at peak dinner time, and the buffet was almost empty and what food they did have was cold.
Don’t bother. Ive tried this place on multiple occasions and its still bad no matter what. It’s ironically a bad version of the one in Watertown, never fresh, cold food, always tastes off, small selection and doesn’t refill food often.
We were very happy with the service at this restaurant. Amy is the best.The food was fresh and delicious 😋So clean and gorgeous artLoved that they hand sanitize you when you enter.Definitely will be returning soon.
Went in for lunch today around 3:30 and the clams were awful and rice pudding tasted like pure margarine. And the whole time we were there there was yelling in the kitchen. Everyone could hear it. We’d like to go have a nice pleasant meal and this wasn’t it.
Food was good. Drinking glasses bother had removable ring aarons them.

Lets start off by saying the lady harrassed the gentleman behind my table bc his friend paid his tip so he didnt have to an she made the comment I will remember you then when it came for me to pay I added up the tip in the price an when it got charged it came $8 more than what I had wrote down so she gave herself 8 more dollars without my permission she never gave me a recipe so I cant prove it. I have also noticed that they stand right at your table sometimes right next to you until your done signing your recipe an if you dont put a tip they say some pretty rude things or they hound you for a tip.

Extremely high priced,Limited salad bar, limited choices of food and drink for a toddler.Waitress demanded I needed a drink (which I declined), demanded we add a tip to our bill (which I did not) I was leaving a cash tip. She returned to the table to collect said tip before we left.My grandson slipped on someones spilled soup at the buffet. Not one worker asked if he was ok.Over all mediocre experience.

The prices are about the same as other Chinese restaurants. The Sesame chicken was very good. But the fried rice was coated in grease and the egg rolls are tiny.
Good food but now signage and no one tells you prices. Unless youve been here before, you have no idea what your bill will be.

I got food poisoning after eating here the sushi had been left out for over 4 hours some of it was discolored. The food it self is not really that great. To add onto how expensive it is to each here (15.00) the waitress demands a tip after for getting drinks. In the end you probably could have gotten better food at an actual restaurant for the same price. I do not suggest going here as I will not be returning myself ever again.
Some of the food was cold, they took long to replace it. The food tasted good but just cold. Was also a bit expensive. They dont have much of a selection either. No hibachi
Food wasnt horrible. Cold green beans, when asking for hot tea you get cold water with a bag in it. The sushi was surprisingly good but the rest of it was just food for your stomach, nothing to brag about.

It was so bad. I tried to look past the smaller details but this was not a pleasant experience. First of all the food selection was much smaller than the buffet in Watertown which wasnt too big of a deal. I went at about 3:30-4 and there were about 3 pieces of each sushi left which I always get a lot of because I love sushi so I only took one of each kind I wanted and none of them got refilled. The food taste was pretty bad and a lot of the food was dried up and old tasting. Again I tried to ignore all that as it was the smaller one during covid as well but the employee while we were still eating asked us if we were done. We said pretty much and she had us pay which was over 30 for 2 people. She returned with fortune cookies and took my friends bowl away while he was still eating from it. Once paid she gave us the card back and stood right there next to us. I was still trying to finish my drink and he was putting his card away and such. She stared right at us waiting for us to leave. I took one last sip of my drink and left. I know these arent the most important things but I thought it was super annoying. I came to eat and relax and hang out with a friend. I didnt want to get up right away as I have to sit for a minute after eating anything due to a medical issue but I felt pressured to leave. I used to love and prefer this buffet and travel to evans mills just for this one but it was on the way and I decided to stop here. Not worth it and I wont he returning again soon if at all.
Ive been here quite a bit despite the food not being that great and the staff sometimes making me feel a tad uncomfortable simply because it was convenient after shopping at Walmart ...but this last time I had had it...I had the worst experience...the customer service was absolutely terrible...worst I’ve experienced to date...one of the server’s literally looked at me the entire time I was walking around trying to decide what I was going to eat...(I usually only go for the garlic bread and sushi but they didn’t have any garlic bread that day and the sushi didn’t look that great...but I was already there so I decided I’d try something else) my son never wants any food from there...(keep in mind I already told her I was paying for 1 for now but if my son takes anything at all I’ll just pay for 2...) so while I was walking around I grabbed a tiny bowl of ice cream which I then gave to my son because I didn’t want it ( didn’t like the taste) he tasted and said he didn’t want it either...she burst out in front of other customers and frantically asked “what are you doing, what are you doing” I was confused...she then said “are you going to eat or not”....this is an “all you can eat buffet” hence you get charged the same whether you eat 1 bite or 20...am I not aloud to look at the food before deciding what I want??? I said, “you know what cash me out I won’t be eating here again”... and the lady went to some of the other employees said whatever in a different language and laughed...but stopped when I pulled out a Louis purse with a platinum card inside and my military ID fell out trying to apologize ...that was sad...so what really was there initial impression of me and why...my son asked me why they treated me like that...very rude staff...
Food is always fresh, hot and amazing. Their sushi is good and they have a large buffet to choose from. Employees are very nice and friendly and the place is always clean. If you go here, please tip because I’ve seen a lot of people make huge messes and be rude to employees then not even leave a tip.This is one of my favorite casual dining places in the area. If I could give it more stars, I would!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The staff deserves a four star rating, and it is a nice convenient place to go for those nights where no one wants to cook. The three stars is for the food it was okay but being a buffet what would you expect......April 18, 2021 update had to lower rating down to single star, my wife and watched the waitress take the opened straws off the table and put them in her apron again with the other straws. That does not fly well with me.

My husband and I stopped there for lunch last wk and it was the worse service have ever had.when we arrived she was getting ready to take us to our chairs and noticed some of her friends showing up .she hollered to them and said she would talk to them in a minute.she asked our drink order and we went to get our food.we came back our drinks werent there and the waItress had pulled up a chair and visited with her friends.after 10 mins she went to get our drinks and couldnt rememberthem.she asked us again dropped drinks in table and sat back down with friends.she never came back until we had 2 dishes emptied.i went to restroom and came out and the bill was there.she sat with her frienda again we grabbed our bill decoded ahe wasnt getting a tip.as soon ask we got near she got up and grabbed the money and bill and said wheres my tip .she satatyrd raisong her voice.my hisband said the bill was 22.60 i gave you 23.she kept saying i need money from tips its the only way im paid.we walked out the door

Small buffet with large price. Food very tasty but nothing was hot. Melted butter was congealed on the bottom with all the salt. Fried stuff not so great because they werent hot. Dim sum looked like it had been there since breakfast, and we were there at 6 PM. Staff was very pleasant.
Went for lunch the place was clean and the buffet was well stocked and the staff was constantly making sure everything was up to par. They also had a nice dessert selection with ice cream and A variety of cookies brownies and pastries. The bill for 2 all you can eat lunch buffets and 2 sodas was less then $20 .
Very clean and spacious buffet style. Food was very good and free wifi was a big plus since it was a working lunch.
Went there a couple of days ago. Food was good. Drinks were good. Didnt like the server demanding a tip. I have gone to other restaurants and never had a server demanding a tip. If you want to tip the server that is fine, but not at Grand Buffet.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. The waitress gave us our bill and stood at our table watching us and rubbing her hands together as my boyfriend opened his wallet to pay. We almost accidentally overpaid by $20 and she didn’t say anything, she was hesitant to even give us the money back. Then, when she gave us our change, before we could even react she starts being rude and says “what? No tip for me?” And held out her hand and refused to leave our table. Normally, we’d leave a tip but this service was terrible and she wasn’t even the waitress that originally brought us our drinks. Since she wouldn’t leave, my boyfriend handed her $2 and she still refused to leave the table until a friend told her to leave. She went around the restaurant talking badly about us audibly and pointing to our table the rest of the time we were there. Then they started putting away all the food while we were still there. Terrible service & mediocre food.
The food was good. But the waitress handed me the bill and asked cash or card. I said cash and she stood there and waited for me to get my cash out. Then came back with my change and stood, I assumed waiting for a tip! Who does that? I only gave her a 10% tip, $2.00 and she made a nasty comment to me in Mandarin!! Never going back!

Won’t ever go back again, my husband and I had been there once and we sat there and waited 30 minutes to get our check and my son started get cranky to my husband got up and asked for the check and they watched him fill it out and put on a big show because we left 0$ after 5 months of thinking this would fly over we went back in and she said you leave no tip I am working you ask for me k? I remember your son. all I wanted to tell her is ya maybe should remember mine I about walked out. and she watched my husband once again fill out the receipt. The women up front kept looking at as while we were eating our food. I was completely uncomfortable. This business they have sucks and should be closed!
Food somewhat ok, but the waitress asked for more tip. Rude! I would have gave I bigger tip if was deserve. But when the staff stares at you to whole times well you getting a small tip. So I tip a two dollars, the waitress asked for more, I said I leave more on the table when we leave. but The waitress waited at the table for a long time for more tip, rude. So I gave her two more. Not going there no more. They lost my business.. something change about the place. I dont like it.
I may be spoiled by the sheer quantity and quality of the Asian food available on the west coast, but this place seemed pretty average. We do eat here once in a while, and its all pretty typical. Nothing bad, but nothing great either. Your mileage may vary.
Not even a 1 star. Tonight was my first and last time there. The service was not good. The staff stood right near our table the whole time. The buffet was tiny and the food was awful. Very over priced for what was there. Then when we paid she stood at our table and watched me fill out the receipt and when I didn’t leave a tip she asked for one and stood there with her hand out. When I said no she started yelling in Chinese and pointing at our table. I will never go back.
Food is decent, but it could be better. All of the dishes with cheese are usually swimming in grease. The meat dishes are usually pretty good though. Theres not much competition when it comes to Chinese buffets in the area and thats the only reason why we go back.
The daily buffet in Watertown is definitely better than this place but the location is convenient. The food is okay but the quality of the food can be effy at times. better not ask for a refund, theyre really stingy and will just say you should have asked for the food to be made fresh. I mean of they checked the food like theyre supposed to there wouldnt be issues. its also kinda pricey considering that the food isnt always good.
Food was alright and they charged quite a bit for such a small buffet. The one thing that ruined my whole experience for me was my server. Ive never had a sever, in my life, stand there waiting to see me write out my check. It was me, my wife, and her friend. I paid for the amount that was due, which was $26.25.My wifes friend said shed cover the tip for all of us since we bought her dinner last night. My server kept asking me if I was going to give her cash because I didnt put anything down for a tip. Then I put $0.00 on the tip so she would know I wasnt putting one down and that my friend was covering. She asked, only her? Really? And as she walked away she said, come on and I thought that wasnt really professional. Its not like my friend didnt leave a 3 person tip. I can understand if she left a tip only for her but that wasnt the case.
Decent food, very small selection though compared to other places in the area. Waitress left cups empty too long and it is kind of eerily quiet in there. Cant complain too much though because the prices were ok, it was clean, and no tummy-aches after. Great option for those who want to jump off-post for a quick bite.
I have come to this place many times and the food is always good and the service is always polite and attentive. I know the people that own this restaurant and they are very nice and good to their staff. Their kitchen is very, very clean. Would highly recommend and food is reasonably priced. Worth going back again and again!!
A bit expensive as my four year old basically has some fries and jello. Other than that they keep the food coming out hot and fresh as they are busy and it runs out fast. The only thing I would change is if it hasnt been eaten and has been in the heated buffet throw it out before adding more. I had some ragoon that was not chewable.

Let me tell you, the waitress stood over me while I was signing my name on the receipt to make sure i left her a tip. Its a buffet..... you dont tip people for bringing you water. The whole buffet business concept revolves around having fewer waitress. Anyways I left my tip in cash but that didnt stop the waitress from giving me a dirty look when she saw 0.00 on the tip line on my receipt. Not going back.
I went when it just opened and the food was cold, I grabbed 2 things of silverware but both had dried food on it. The food taste funny so I spit out some and got up and went to pay my bill to leave. I told the manager about not getting any clean silverware and the food didnt taste right but he didnt care or said sorry. I went home feeling sick and now Ive been puking all night long. Worst 11 bucks I ever spent and terrible service and lack of empathy from the manager.

TERRIBLE after Covid-19. They literally warm up scraps for a little profit now. The food is always old leftovers, burned rice, dry noodles. You’re better off eating your own Chinese leftovers from a week ago. They only get 1 star because I like their presentation.
The restaurant is beautiful, clean, and in a great location (close to Walmart, GameStop, and just off the interstate). I love the flounder, bok choy, and the food selection in general. Their pizza makes my kids day. Thanks for being awesome!
This place is absolutely disgusting. The food is gross and overpriced. We were served drinks, and there was a straw wrapper in the bottom of one of the cups. This should have been a clue to RUN. The waitresses are rude and non-attentive, while the food tastes like water. As we paid for our food, the manager coughed on us so who knows what the employees are doing over the food here. Will never return or recommend!
The food was awful and was the most expensive buffet I have ever went to and the customer service was terrible they sat at the table until I tipped her i wasn’t going too, I will never go here again does not even deserve one star.
Me and my husband went there today to try it out. We each got a plate of food, my husband got 3 chicken wings. He had started eating the 3rd one and he looks at it, and pulled off a feather. I took a picture of it so I had some proof, and he flagged down the waitress and told her. She went and said something to the man working there, and she came back and asked if it was from a chicken wing, we said yes,, and she basically said its normal because it is hard to get feathers off the wings. Then brought us our check, almost $20. We looked over the wing and there was at least 2 other feathers on it. We will NEVER be eating there again. They didnt even offer an apology. We eat chicken wings quite a bit from various pizza places and have never had feathers still on it. We were billed almost $20 for 2 half eaten plates of food and a couple chicken feathers. Disgusting. Also the sesame chicken tasted funny and neither of us could eat it

Staff was extremely friendly and courteous.
You can do weighed buffet and eat inside with your friends. Great for people who have had gastric bypass. My lunch, with no take home container is under $2.50
I have always loved this place. But today i went as usual with my brother. We ate and we were about to leave when our waitress Ing wouldnt let me leave until i gave her more money for a tip. I then gave her 4 dollars and walked out and told them i was never going to return. She is a horrible waitress. Every waitress i have ever had has never asked me for a tip and held me there until she or he got the moneey they wanted. But this girl did. So if you go here (which i dont recommend) and you get Ing ask for a different waitress because she will beg you for money. I was just trying to have a nice meal with my brother and Im really disgusted.
Been here many times. Took the family there tonight. Shrimp was warm and tasted awful. Wife said roasted chicken was greasy. Then the girl demaned a tip. Really a tip for pouring drinks. Their fresh hibachi is the best. You get to pick your fresh ingredients, chicken, beef, tofu...a wide assortment of veggies then pick what sauce you want and pour on how much or how little you want then the friendly cook grills it up for you while you watch. Its really good and I enjoy that better than the buffet food which is a standard Chinese buffet
Excellent meal! Difficulty in language barrier to try to explain that I have a food allergy and asked if some of their foods on the buffet were cooked in the same oil as fish and shellfish. I just took s Benadryl, because 2 waiter/hostesses didnt understand what I was asking.
Cute place, decent pricing & nice staff but compared to a lot of Asian restaurants, this is one of the worst Ive been to. I have high expectations but only because Ive have some amazing sushi & other asian food & hate to be disappointed by dry, odd tasting dinner choices. The sushi was dry; my husband didnt even want to try any & he LOVES California rolls. We usually go to asian buffets to start with the sushi! He said the General Tsos was good but I didnt agree. I liked the beef & brocolli but other than that, I didnt eat much.

The most god awful Chinese food i have ever had. Half the labels on the buffet are wrong so you have no clue what you’re eating. My husband had a piece of sweet and sour chicken that was so hard we could of thrown it and broke a window.
Food is decent for a buffet but every time Ive gone the waitress stands there watching write out the tip and is not afraid to display her dissatisfaction with it. In my opinion it really runs the place. If I wanted to feel bad I would stay home and eat hot pockets in a closet not go out with friends. Hope others get a different experience because its not bad for a cheap eats.
Just walk into the bathroom before you eat. You won’t be hungry anymore. The waitresses and manager didn’t seem concerned when we let them know the bathrooms needed attention USED toilet paper all over the floor in the stalls. The lady asked, “Oh, you mean the smell?” And continued ringing people up for their food.

This is what you would expect from a Chinese buffet. There is a full selection of typical Chinese buffet style food that seems to be fresh at all times. There are plenty of other choices for the picky eater, and the desert isnt something to complain about. The price is fair, service is good, and the location and atmosphere are nice.
Marvin might like your selection but I do not. You never know what the price is going to be. I go at lunch one day is 9.00. Next day its 12.93. I think its worth 6.00. For some soup and one plate of food and a drink. An a tip. I wont be back anymore. I am sick of the price games. Enjoy. I hope you go broke!
Do not eat here!!!!! This food is super gross. Everything is always dried out, looks weird, or tastes bad. I’m appalled they haven’t been shut down yet. My husband’s food had mold on it. We haven’t returned since then. Customer service isn’t great and the food is even WORSE!!!
Not even a one. The food is drenched with salt and saturated fat. Last night the waitress braubraught the the bill, i signed it and she stood there and prirettytty much begged for a tip. When I drew a line she turned and started talking the foreign language and all the other waitress joined in. Totally discuusgusted.

Food was ok. Two out of four family members ended up getting sick. We are on vacation so this is totally not fun for us. We won’t be returning ever again in my lifetime. The only reason they got 2 stars is because the other two family members are ok.

Decent food, not too expensive. Sometimes the food can look a bit old, and I read somewhere that they have crab... been going for a good 8 months on and off and not once have they had crab.

The waitress who’s name started with A on the night shift on wednesday november 18th was the nicest women i’ve ever met, she made us extra food for no cost and made us have an enjoyable night, the food was also very good

Food was great would have rated 5 Stars if they would just turn down the water heater a bit so that you dont get scalded washing your hands in the restroom watch out for that !
You get what you pay for. The sushi tastes like it came out of a can. It feels like there is glue on your teeth afterwards. Bubble-guts within 30 minutes of ingestion.
Food is fine, but definitely not a customer friendly place. As you eat you will have the awesome experience of the workers staring at you and giving you dirty looks. Not to mention that they are undoubtedly talking poorly about you in other languages so you can not understand.

Plumbing and sinks not properly sized, installed, maintained; equipment and floors not properly drained. Accurate thermometers not available or used to evaluate refrigerated or heated storage temperatures. Improper use and storage of clean, sanitized equipment and utensils. Food contact surfaces not washed, rinsed and sanitized after each use and following any time of operations when contamination may have occurred.
THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! The workers are by far the rudest people I’ve ever encountered. They rush you out the door and watch over you as you fill out the receipt. Not to mention their food is gross and it all tastes the same.

2021-12-04If I could personally put a zero for a star with out being able to move forward I WOULD!!! THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY DISCUSTING. I TRIED TO EAT THERE TONIGHT AND COULDNT!! 1st of all .the lady was going around cleaning the counter and putting the food back into the dishes that had fallen off peoples plates or off the silverware. And laughed about it when called out on it. I am trying to eat to discover black bugs in my food.. which I am not a person to complain or say anything but when I cant eat bc my food HAD BLACK BUGS AND BE TOLD I WAS LYING IT WAS FROM THE FRYER!! and trying to explain. That I didnt have any fried food. He still went on calling me a liar. Then wasnt gonna co pensive for the fact I couldnt eat bc of it!!! What a joke that was

2019-03-15We usually come here whenever we need to go to Aldis or Walmart. The food is always good, but the staff varies on service and manners. They have hibachi, sushi, and several dishes (some static and some that change). Ive seen staff get upset at the lunch buffet and charge people the supper rate if they find they eat too many crab legs, etc. So if you attend close to supper time, be careful eating mussels/crab legs or they will have no problem calling you out in front of other diners to pay more...

2019-02-24Any time I come here I always get hot, fresh, wonderful tasting food! The atmosphere is super peaceful.As far as customer service is concerned,.... they are so welcoming! I always get great customer service..... but that might also be due to the fact, that I treat them with respect, so I get that in return!(its just what a decent human being should do to begin with) My family and I love it so much, we usuly never tip less than $10. If I could rate more than 5 stars then I for sure would!!!!

2018-09-22Food was good and plentiful at buffet. Only 3 stars because wait staff was very rude, never produced a bill and asked for payment prior to end of meal. After paying, I requested change and it was not brought until requested again.

2022-06-22My kids love the buffet. It is an easy place to eat and let the kids have a choice of many items. Good service, I was placed at a large table that held our large group. I had a good assortment of different foods, will definitely be going again.

2021-10-01The first time I went here the food tasted like it’d been left out for too long. The last time I went it was surprisingly better so it’s usually a hit or miss. As far as being busy goes, it usually depends on the time and the day you go. I Probably would go back if I was in the mood for a buffet, or for convenience. They do follow COVID guidelines well, though, with access to sanitation/social distancing/masks.

2021-11-14The food was a good experience. That’s where it stopped. When we walked in everything looked clean. I went to use the bathroom before I ate, huge mistake. The womens restroom smelled so horrid. My smell hasn’t fully come back from having covid I can barely smell and it was rancid. My fiancé used the mens and said it smelled fine. So we ate, the food was warm and fresh for the most part. Before we had finished eating the waitress was at our table with the check and asking for her tip. My fiancé went to the check in counter to pay the bill after we actually finished eating and the waitress came back over a few moments later and asked about her service which we said was fine (she gave us drinks and cleared our soup bowls) and tried to go back to opening our cookies. She reached for our receipt and asked about her tip again. My fiancé looked at her and said listen we haven’t finished, please stop. She stood right by our table staring. We got up and left. Again, the food was good. We even tried some new things. The bathroom issue needs to be resolved and I wouldn’t go back again solely based on being harassed for a tip before we even finished our food.
