These People Help Me Live.Ive been going to Grand Nature for approximately 4 years for issues I have with my neck from an accident I was in. All of the therapists here are excellent: they listen to you and really tailor the massage to your ailments/needs. Its definitely an intense massage, but its worth it. I usually go for accupressure and cupping and always leave feeling like a new woman. The decor is nothing fancy, but these guys know their work!!
Always a fantastic experience at Grand Nature. Everyone there is unfailingly hospitable - offering water and tea to everyone who comes in. Charlie gives an incredible massage. He is very good at pinpointing areas of tension and I always leave feeling relaxed and free from aches. Already looking forward to my next massage. Thanks Charlie!
Horrible experience. I dont believe the rating. Most probably most of those 5-stars are fake.I didnt get massage from this Charlie person that the reviews boast about. My massage was just fine for what I expected in China town. However what ringed it for me was my therapist stayed in the room at the end as I was dressing up, and as I was too finishing dressing up closed the door and asked for tip. I topped what I was happy to, she complained that its more enough! Now thats service I cant recommend and will never go back for.

Charlie and his guys are masters of their craft. Be warned that your first few acupressure massages will be painful, but you will regain a wide range of motion and feel amazing afterward. This place is a hidden gem that can help anyone from athletes to office workers.
Excellent massage. Went in w/ some back pain, left feeling so much better. Very healing. Drank a really delicious cup of tea afterwards. Charge was $28 for 30 mins, which is ridiculously cheap. Gave a generous tip. These people are well trained.
By far the worst massage I have ever received, and I have gotten hundreds of massages over the years. I knew it was going to be deep pressure, and that wasnt the problem. What was a problem was that my massseur used his sharp elbow to burrow into me, and even though I asked him three (!) times to make the pressure lighter he never did. It wasnt a language problem, because we spoke in English to each other before the massage started. At the beginning of the massage, I also asked him not to massage my arms. So of course he started massaging my arms, and I had to ask him to stop. At one point, he was actually pressing down on my spine, which should never occur during a massage. I finally asked him to stop the massage before my 60 minutes was up and left, very unhappy with the whole experience.
Been trying to find a massage therapist who could fix my shoulders like the one in Singapore. Nothing in Chinatown came close not even an American chiropractor. Read the reviews here and thought I give it a try.After a one hour session, I was able to touch my left shoulder without feeling like my arm was being pulled apart. I went in for a second session, and now I can take off my shirt or put my arm through a backpack strap.They really try to help you get rid of the pain by finding the problematic spots and work on it. I bawled like a kid who fell and scraped her knees. Took my friend with me this time and said he was a lot looser than when he walked in.我很高興找到你們。你們能夠修好我的肩膀。很多謝。
This is not a temporary fix. This is a real massage. Accupressure. If you just want to feel good for a day, get a Swedish massage but if you want to BE WELL, then do accupressure.My feet were aching and sore these past few months. I walk and stand a lot during my commute. So I tried a foot session at Grand Nature as a walk-in. It was a amazing. Not just my feet but my whole body have been rejuvenated. It never truly occurred to me how much my feet had an impact on the rest of my body until I tried accupressure at Grand Natute. For a half hour session it was great. There are options to go for longer duration or for a whole body session. You can tell them specifically what your ailment is and they will focus on it. Like I said this is no Swedish massage. This is accupressure based on 2,000 years of Chinese wisdom.Though painful at most times, its bearable. Grand Nature really knows their stuff. Also, theyre friendly and very hospitable. Cant believe I havent gone sooner. I will make this a monthly or even bi-weekly routine since its reasonably priced for the value returned to my body. Worth every penny. Thank you Grand Nature! I still feel great!

Ive had Charlie work on me for almost 6 years now and it was great to see him start his own studio. Hes great with back problems and decent with the legs.

2022-08-04The reviews for this place are spot on. They did a fantastic job. The guy who did my massage was incredibly strong and hit allThe right places. I came in with debilitating back and hip issues. I left feeling incredibly better!! The price is incredibly fair for the level of service you get. To parrot what someone else said, it’s not enjoyable massage. It’s painful but it works! It’s not a relaxing spot for their massages and it shouldn’t be :). Would come again and again.

2022-08-23Im not sure how to describe this experience. I cried, I laughed, I was soaked with sweat at the end. I was groaning with pain as Charlie kneaded my injured shoulders with his hands and elbows. Im not even sure how I got home (Im lucky that I live only a few blocks away). The next day, I was extremely sore and took some ibuprofen. The second day, I used a heating pad on my shoulder. The third day, I felt so healed, the long standing pain in my shoulder and jaw was...gone! Charlie is a miracle worker but you will suffer. For me, the pain was worth it. Just keep thinking about the goal as hes digging into your muscles, rooting out every knot and injury, as only he can.

2022-09-01I found Charlie over a decade ago when I had some really painful lower back and hip issues. After one session, I felt so great that I slipped on my high heels and headed for a night out on the town.I’ve recommended Charlie to my mom, my aunt, and my cousin. My mom had some really painful shoulder issues pop up in her early 70s, and several sessions with Charlie really improved her range of motion and her pain.The staff he works with also seems excellent. He always recommends them, and I trust his judgment.Charlie is intuitive and extremely professional. As a female, I have no discomfort asking him to work on my glutes. I literally feel like a slab of meat or being mixed like flour for hand pulled noodles. He will pick up the phone and confirm appointments with calling customers while he’s working on you. Don’t take it as a nuisance; take it as brief relief from the immense pain being inflicted on you (for the better).

2022-07-10Been to couple massage spa and finally found the most suitable for me. I would never go back to other spa. Take note this is not a relaxing spa this is for those with intense knots.

2022-05-29I threw out my back. On top of that, I had extremely stiff hamstrings from doing a HIIT workout and generally overdoing it. I’m also a computer worker with permanent sore shoulders. This place fixed me. I wish I warmed up a little bit (i just woke up and went directly there) because I was so stiff that it was pretty painful, but the result afterwards was nothing short of miraculous. I was barely able to walk the two blocks there, but feel like I could run again afterwards! They have a solid understanding of the underlying anatomy and I can’t wait to go back in a week or two, and also try their acupuncture.

2022-06-29I’ve been to 10+ massage places in the city and this is the best / most painful. Good for those that do bodybuilding, crossfit, sports, etc looking for a strong deep tissue massage.

2019-01-26Theres a few massage places clustered together here, but this one is THE BEST. The guys working here are so friendly, greeting you as you walk in. You can make appointments or walk up - havent had to wait yet. I have been seeing a guy David here - incredibly firm, but what I need to have therapeutic impact. They go hard and youll wince at times, but afterwords you feel like a new person. I always have difficulty finding massages that are deep or firm enough - that was definitely not lacking here. $28 for a half hour. Ten time punch card promo, so if you go 10 times you get a free massage. They ask you your problem areas and then attack the problem, never slowing or tiring.

2017-11-19This place is amazing! Charlie gives great hard massages, so please be ready for it to hurt but it is a good kind of hurt. I work out six days a week and he really helps me stay mobile! They also offer tea while you wait!

2017-01-23Charlie is a body work God. He is also a true gentleman. His practice is clean and inviting. His technique requires one to be brave. If youre experiencing pain or discomfort due to bodily issues Charlie will be intense and go deep into the fibers to help get all the bad stuff out. This process is not for the faint of heart.Know what you want when you go in. He will address your issues and help you understand how it all works.For the work he does the price is incredible.
