Very professional and kind. I brought my car in for repair and it left the facility working better then it did when I purchased it. Im very impressed at how fast my car was repaired. I will definitely recommend to others and I will only bring my car to this facility moving forward.
Jennifer took great care of my situation and had treated me with respect and genuine concern for my car’s problems and issues. Her timely communication with the issues and response resolution of said problem. The cost was a lot less than what I expected and I’m very, very pleased with my results.
Jennifer was great overall. The price seemed very high and I was very disappointed that you guys wouldnt accept my third party insurance that would have paid towards the repairs. Money is money. So that made no sense to me. Also the car is a 2017. It has less that 100k miles on it. Theres no reason why it should have had so much wrong with it. I would NOT recommend anyone buys a Chevy and I wont be buying one again.
Love working with Will. He made the process of getting a new lease with this economy and frustrating supply chain issues as seamless as he could. Will is a great salesperson- very upfront about all possible options, not pushy or salesy at all, and tried to make sure everything was in place so I could get in and out quickly with my 3 kids in tow.
Wilbur is always a pleasure to work with. He got me out of a lease early and in to a new one at the price I wanted. I love the new truck but am disappointed with some of the features that I had with my 2019 but no longer offer with the 2022.- the review mirror camera-dashboard speedometer- no heated back seats- the 360 degree cameras.I did not see any additional add on with the 2022. There was more being offered with the 2019.
Your service center sucks. Sorry but staff is unprofessional on the phone and in person. Fist person here and clearly going to be last. Wheel alignment and an emission part, apparently will take from 830 to 5 . None of my warranties for a check engine light cover and charge $ 189 dollars for a diagnostic test. Never coming back. Sad I bought my truck here too. Jenn the lady who I delt with was rude to me when I asked if my truck was ready after 7 hrs of waiting and they finally pulled my truck up. Yelled at me to give her 2 minutes. When I spoke to bill the supervisor he. He was rude and loud and I had to ask him many times to get a n email to his supervisor
The few times that Ive been to the Grand Prize Service Center have been excellent experiences! Every time Ive had Jason L. as my service consultant and hes always so welcoming, energetic, and thorough with his explanations for things they found while performing routine maintenance or the extent of the problems that existed with my vehicle when I brought it in when the spark plugs needed to be replaced. Everyone at Grand Prize Chevy that Ive dealt with has been incredibly helpful and welcoming and I look forward to going there for as long as Im able to.
I was was at GRAND PRIZE CHEVY / CADILLAC back in September so this is a long over due review. I had experienced excellent personal able customer service that has exceeded all expectations that I had going there. Kelly was my advisor who was so knowledgeable and friendly. Also she helped me so much but giving me honest answers like when my car would be ready so I could plan my day. I have seen another advisor as well. I need to get her name because like I mentioned exceptional customer service from beginning to the end even the mechanic (I think) who brought my car to me. Thanks you guys are the best
From the time I inquired about the vehicle until I drove it off the lot, Rob Lysiak did an outstanding job of keeping me updated throughout the entire car buying process. Through this incredibly challenging car market, Rob was able to provide me the information I need to manage my existing cars until my new vehicle arrived at the dealership. In addition, Rob went out of his way to make sure the actual buying process would be seamless the day the car arrived, including the valuation of my trade-in and telling my financing options well-beforehand. Rob and the team went out of their way to answer any questions that I had and communicate my post purchase options for maintenance, etc... Overall, I would definitely recommend Grand Prize Chevrolet to anyone looking for a positive experience in the car buying process. Thanks again.
There are a few good service ppl left there, but not many. Jennifer, Jason and Alyssa are it and stay away from any others. Jason is a great guy and very helpful. Jennifer is very welcoming and helped with the OUTRAGEOUS $110 price for a synthetic OIL CHANGE on a 4 cylinder engine. Alyssa Ive never dealt with personally, but she is always there when I show up & I always admire her professionalism. I work in hospitality and I know more than others what it takes to deal with ppl and HOW TO deal with ppl. A older woman was in the lobby waiting with me and she was telling her husband how horrible the service was, she felt disrespected and that the local Subaru dealer is not like this at all. I own 2 Chevy vehicles, both purchased from Grand Prize. One was purchased new and one was used. The issues with these cars are astounding. 80K miles and the Equinox needs an engine and catalytic converter because the bad engine ruined it. The Malibu had suspension issues for years, until I FOUND THE Issue MYSELF, TOOK IT TO ANOTHER DEALER & they fixed it. I have a 2021 Kia also & we are very happy. Hate to say it, but dont buy American cars.
I moved New City last month and i have 2018 traverse already but time to trade and get new traverse so I check local chevy dealership. Their website has a traverse what I want. Alison Deangelo who BDC Constant emailed many time for help me and confirm they have car so finally I decided to visit there and made appointment. I just went dealership on Monday morning and they said car was sold long time ago and they didnt update their website... my first experience here is like that??? I wont buy any car or any service there in there...
Ive sunk alot of money here repairing my Chevy Cruze and I have experienced the customer service go downhill. My last (and definitely will be my last time) in I had dropped my car off after close. I had missed the appointment because the tow guy picked it up later then was scheduled, consequently my car had sat outside being ignored. I called numerous times and my phone calls were not answered back. It wasnt until I went to the dealership in person where my car was able to get worked on. It was done in only a couple hours, which was nice, but then when I called to pay over the phone because I had someone else picking it up, I was again being directed to someones voicemail. I had to just pay online. The repair work was satisfying, but I will not be returning due to the lack of personal customer service.
I dropped the car of via the overnight drop-off and I was able to use my GM Rewards points towards the servicing. Jennifer Bishop was my service adviser, she kept me advised through texting with the progress, and when I picked the car up, she had my car ready to go and checked me out.
Since day 1 dealing with the Chevrolet dealership in the Nanuet location was great; they cared and listened the local community instead to drive my business to the near NJ in each department from the sales consulting to the management together the financial representative. Our Sales representative, Johnathan, was great since day, providing options, alternative and explanation of each benefits and features regarding each car i was asking questions for. The process was smoothed and easy to handle without any complications or surprises. Thank you again for your time and consideration.
Amazing service from Drew and all other staff that helped out. Jason in the service department has been great. The only complaint I have is that there is a clicking sound when the heat or AC is on and it can be felt in the pedals when it happens. This has been happening on and off since I purchased the brand new vehicle. I brought it in once to be checked. It’s a bit alarming being that this can be a sign of multiple issues that are apparently common in the Chevy Spark. Will be scheduling another appointment to get it checked when I can. Other than that, great dealership.
Stay far away! The excuse I just received for the delay of a genuine gm keyless entree is that THEY HAVE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE EVER!!!!! Are you serious?? What kinda of service department is this?Lacking in accurate information across the board especially for service. 30 mins means 3+hrs dont be fooled by the 5 star reviews
My Sales Interaction at Grand Prize GMC was my best Truck buying experience ever. The Sales Manager John, Sales Rep Will and Finance Manager were excellent and went above and beyond to ensure I had the best possible deal. They walked me through the entire sales processed and kept me updated with expected delivery date. There was no pressure to purchase and the pricing was the best deal in the Market. I purchased a 2021 Sierra AT4 which is on back order and they gave me the best deal and didnt mark up the invoice like other dealerships. I would recommend Grand Prize GMC to anyone looking to purchase a GMC Truck. They even got me a lower interest than my Bank. I picked up my Truck on Monday, entire deal took less than 30 minutes to process. Will took his time and explained every single feature on the Truck. I drove off thinking that there are still honest and creditable people in the Car business.
I bought a Chevy yesterday from them. The team was so professional, nice, helpful and gave me good price. My sales Linda was so gentle and patient. I had a wonderful experience. Though it took over 40min from my place to this location, it‘s 100% worth. Nice people deserve good business.
I travelled from NYC all the way up to Nanuet. Met with Sales Consultant Andreas England. Im only 41 years of age but this young man was great... No Pressure no tactics no gimmicks like how you experience in the city. No dealer in the city had the vehicle I wanted. Every dealer had to do a locate. Which brings me to Grand Prize Chevrolet. I confirmed the vehicle was at the location and made an appointment the same day. When I pulled up in the parking lot my vehicle with sitting there waiting for me. After 15 mins I brought the 2018 Chevy Tahoe LT with several packages. Andreas Took the time to show my wife and i every aspect of the vehicle. Im happy to say I was not SOLD the car I BROUGHT the car.......
It was an amazing experience. Everyone was so kind and polite. Andrew was incredible. He really went the extra mile. Took the time explaining, showing, and working with us. Very knowledgeable, and professional. I highly recommend him and this dealership, for any car purchase. It really was a great experience and we love the cars!
I just bought a vehicle here. Carlos Nazario was the gentleman who sold it to me. I was very pleased with the whole experience. The purchase was smooth, and he gave me an expected delivery date and it came on time. He was also available to me whenever I had any questions. His responses were prompt. This is my second purchase from this dealership and I will be going there again for my next vehicle. Thank you to Carlos and to Grand Prize !!!
I was looking for a place to have my Buick Encore serviced. Every place I looked for online had terrible reviews except for Grand Prize. I was still leary about bringing my car there. I waited a longtime for my appointment but they exceeded my expectations! They kept me posted and even picked me up to bring me back to the dealer to get my car. Rick from the service department was fantastic. My car runs great again.
I brought my 2011 Silverado in for service 1 week ago to evaluate a low oil pressure sensor that was alarming. It was the second time in 10 mos for the same complaint. The first time it was resolved by replacing the sensor. The diagnosis this time was needs new engine. The rep[air was quoted at $11,800. Basically, it was my impression I now need a new vehicle altogether givin its age. I picked up the truck and since there were no other symptoms such as loss of power, smoke, or low fuel economy, I took it and got the oil changed. The sensor alarm is gone, the engine light went away, and I have been driving the truck around, no problem,, with zero performance issues. I understand the challenge of diagnosing problems. I am an Electrical Engineer. BUT--this was a HUGE miss that I dont understand. If the truck crashes next week, I will certainly make an effort to reach out and apologize.
I had a great experience with the service dept. I made an appt to get the first service done on my new truck. I came in and worked with Jason who got me in and out. Left my vehicle there for about 2 hours. They called said I needed some DEF. Typically I would use my own, but since the dealer didnt sell me the truck, and first service is free from GM, I figured Id let them charge me for the Def and installing the front license plate bracket. I had been looking for a dealer near home where I can bring my truck to for routine maintenance and I think I found it. Even if it is the 3rd closest place. I dont mind the drive for good service. And it was only 20 minutes away. Ill be going back
Ricky who was my representative took very attentive and excellent care of me, my questions and my needs for my vehicle. Bill the service manager has been Beyond accommodating, this service visit as well as other service appointments in the past. Love Grand Prize and love my Chevy!
First time going to this dealership. Was very excited and even took half a day off from work to look at a car. After test driving the car and excited to make a deal my conversation lasted about 15 minutes before walking out of the door in disgust. I felt like my intelligence was being insulted. I was told the price I was asking for has never been done Even though online the price showed what I was asking. So I can make sense of why they were asking for such a high price, I asked for certain numbers that were not given to me and were not transparent. As I walked away from the dealership the salesmen went to the front desk and said can you believe the price they wanted this car. Its a real shame because right after I left the dealership I went down the street and bought the same size vehicle, same MSRP, and a newer year 22 for over $200 less a month then what they were asking. I guess someone else didnt think my asking price was outrageous.
Well, Ive been going there for years and while I have definitely had positive experiences, they have tremendous turnover. I mean, just about every person in service I have worked with over the past six years is gone. So, youre constantly explaining things to new people and never get to know anyone. the only person that has been there for a long time is the GM, Bill Fagnan, but he is not who you usually deal with on a daily basis. It is difficult to understand their high turnover, but it is a turnoff to customers anyway.
Rob is the best. After buying 3+ cars from Rob, he just knows me better than I know myself! He found me exactly what I was looking for and made sure to stay in my price range! When I am shopping for a car I know Rob will lead me in the right direction and isnt worried about selling the car! Rob is an asset to Grand Prize dealership!
Its hard to seperate Chevy from the dealership because the dealership is Chevy... but, JEN BISHOP was thebomb.com.She was great in delivering bad news in a transparent way w/o making it sound hopeless. She was honest with the delays that are out of her (or dealerships) hands. Emphatic with my extreme disappointment and unhappiness with having a family road trip stopped dead on the road in our brand new Chevy. Especially after having to pay over $700 in rental fees (and Chevy not looking to reimburse me). Jen was also great at following up, even when there was no progress.Disappointed with the dealership for the lack of manpower, lack of available loaner cars ( did get one later) and lack of available parts.So..... Jen Bishop...a 10.Dealership, a 5.Chevy..... a very disappointing 1. It sucks to know I cannot rely on our American vehicle for any family road trips over 2 hours and now just last night I got a new error code.
Our salesman, Wilbur Pichardo was fantastic - Our 1st visit, we didnt know what we wanted. He was patient, showed us several models and there was no pressure. On our second visit, he spent time explaining all the features. We never felt rushed. We picked the model, drove it and decided we preferred the smaller size - He said -No problem. It has all the features we wanted and perfect size. We picked it up a few days later.
Andrew K was great. Every step of the way he was very helpful in finding and securing the truck we wanted. He answered questions and got back to us with any information we needed. I enjoyed working with Andrew he wasn’t the normal salesmen that I normally run from. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who was looking to buy.
We had to endure an outright bewildering experience with one of the sales staff. Extremely unprofessional behavior bordering on bullying, with very obvious deception tactics. On the plus side, the salesman we had dealt with has earned one star by suggesting that we take our business elsewhere, which in the end had demonstrated that the deal being pushed onto us was far inferior compared to another dealership.Do yourself a favor and please take every precaution with purchasing a used car from Grand Prize, and dont be afraid to walk out because there will always be a more reasonable sales person and offer at another dealership.
Everything was handled in a friendly and professional way. My salesman Andrew Kimbark was amazing. Extremely helpful and so easy to work with. Totally cared about my happiness and was the main reason for purchasing the truck at this dealership.I definitely recommend this dealership.
Terrible service, even worse costumer service. All fleet managers and regular customers STAY CLEAR of this dealership. There are other chevy dealerships in the area with better customer service. The hourly tech charge is way too high for the quality of work. Their service department loves to talk down to their costumers. As a fleet manager I take pleasure in knowing I will never bring one of my vehicles there ever again
Jennifer and frank are always nice and excellent at servicing/receiving the cars and communicating issues and suggestions. Due to the price of services, it not always possible to complete suggested repairs but at least your aware of some of the issues the car needs. otherwise for the last 5 years of having my car it has and still is running like a champion and I believe that its in part to servicing my car at grand prize over the years. Thank you!
I was very pleased with the level of communication from my contact Alyssa. However, I was incredibly frustrated to now have paid over $1,000.00 to have the same repair performed twice in July 2018 and now April 2021. The fact that I have no recourse with an obviously documented design flaw has me seriously reconsidering my brand (and dealership) loyalty.
Marc @ Grand Prize Buick was wonderful to work with. He was patient, professional and delivered what he promised. Marc and the finance manager even stayed well beyond closing hours to make sure I drove away in my new vehicle. The vehicle features and final cost were exactly what we discussed, and I didnt feel blindsided like I have in the past by other dealers. Id definitely recommend purchasing from here.
It took at least 10 minutes for someone at the service department to acknowledge I was there and not helped. And although Bill, the service manager, got me in right away and had my service requests handled and I appreciate that, theres still a lot left to be desired of the customer service reps at the service desk. They are more sales oriented than help oriented and felt greatly pressured to give into their add-ons when all I wanted done was a recall service and a remote starter installation.
On Wednesday May 19 the Chevy app alerted us to let us know that we needed to have the car checked immediately. We parked the car and called the dealership to schedule an appointment. They told us to bring the car in on 5/21/21 Friday at 1 PM. We drove to the dealership on Friday as directed, however had to wait to check in, even though we had an appointment. To our surprise we were informed that we would have our car looked at on Monday once we were seen by Dwight. My wife questioned Dwight as to why we would be scheduled to bring the car in when it would not be attended to until the following week. It was at this time that Dwight informed us that he would look into having it at least looked at, and although he could not promise us that the work would be completed, he could at least see if the part was in stock and if a tech could install it as well. Our second and best surprise came when Dwight called us, letting us know that not only was the service department able to identify the problem, but was able to fix our car by end of business because the part was on premises! We were able to have our vehicle for the weekend after all!So we gratefully wish to thank both Dwight in the service department and the service technician(s) of the service repair department
My husband and I went to the GrandPrize on a Saturday morning and we were warmly welcomed by Carlos Nazario. He took his time to understand our needs and find the best possible option for us. We took 2 cars for a test drive - my husband and I were able to go by ourselves, maybe this is due to COVID restrictions, but it gave us space to judge the cars for ourselves, which was great. We ended up buying a car in the spot, Carlos was very helpful and patient, he clarify every question that we had, he was extremely knowledgeable and had great attention to details.Overall, the entire team was very polite and helpful. The only downside of the day was that it took forever for our car to be ready. It was a new car, so we thought it shouldn’t have taken that long to be ready for us to take it home. Even after we signed all the paperwork we still had to wait quite a long time. Other than this, the entire trading/buying experience was extremely positive.
I had a great time with Wilbur & Charlie, they were both the easiest ( CAR ) salesman ive ever delt with, thank you for having them on your staff!! It was one of the easiest car purchases especially for not having seen the car until an hour and a half before i made the deal. They both did a great job dealing with a long distance customer over the phone. Everything Wibur told me about the car was on point, so when i got there i had no surprizes
I am not happy with the service that I received at grand prize Chevrolet. The salesman that I worked with who is no longer there was messing up the order from day one the pricing what was supposed to be in the truck the dates everything I had to return three times to get everything which I thought was correct. My assumption was that I was going to get a dual climate control in my truck and I guess I shouldn’t assume that when you buy a $55,000 truck but it should be there and when I mentioned it we decided that it would go in the truck. When I picked up my truck it was not there but after waiting two months to get the truck I decided to live without it. After these two months I now decided to see if I could get it installed service would not give me a straight answer of why you could not be done that they just said he can’t be done I went in and talk to the salesman he gave me the same pitch so finally I called the mechanic and he said it can be done but entail a lot of work that’s the only thing I wanted to hear but I got a run around from Chevy. The salesman I spoke to recently was very arrogant claiming he was there for 20 years so I guess he thinks he knew everything but still when I asked why not the only answer was they won’t do it sorry but to me that’s not an answer if he would’ve just said it until the lot of work it would cost a lot of money at least I would’ve walked out of there with some knowledge. If you do buy a Chevy truck even though I love the trail boss make sure you know that it comes with almost nothing standard for $55,000 and if you have the add-ons make sure that your salesman puts them in the deal.
Weve been customers for many years, so we clearly are happy with Grand Prize sales and service. However. GMs product line is not very inspiring. We were looking at replacing our 2018 Terrain but the 2021 fleet no longer comes with a 2.0 engine. We decided to keep it. Discontinuing the Volt was also a mistake. Not enough charging stations yet for fully electric vehicles.
My salesman, Maurice, was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with my car buying experience. He was available day and night to answer my questions and made me feel like I was dealing with family from start to finish. Of course, that’s to be expected as he’s been like an uncle to me since I was little. However, while my familial relationship may have drew me into Grand Prize, it was the amazing selection of cars and friendly staff that made me comfortable giving them my business. I would recommend Grand Prize Chevrolet to anyone looking for a car.
Excellent Sales and Dealership!By far the easiest and smoothest experience I have ever had in either leasing or purchasing a vehicle and I have either purchased or leased 12 vehicles over the past 20 years. My salesperson, Rich Santana, was by far the nicest, most knowledgeable, and professional car salesman I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with.I would definitely recommend Rich Santana and Grand Prize Chevrolet Cadillac to my friends and family.
I am extremely happy with my recent purchase. The process was very easy from my initial contact with Denise Atamain via email and then the hand off to the Sales Person Rich Santana. It couldnt have been any better. Rich was very knowledgeable of the Vehicles and he provided great service and follow up. I will no doubt recommend Grand Prize Auto and Rich Santana to my friends and family.
Had a wonderful and stress free experience at Grand Prize Auto service department. Instead of waiting for my car I was offered a ride home while my car was being serviced. Jennifer was very informative and upfront on the cost of services and kept me informed when my car was finished. Will definitely come back to service my car.
Good Afternoon, I feel like a broken record. I have had several issues with the service dept at grandprize in Nanuet. Just to name a few, I had a leak in the roof of our truck that I reported at least 2 or 3 times. At one time the leak was fixed (prior to the warranty expiring) but it still leaks during heavy rain right on my head as I am driving!. The service tow trailer light kept coming on and we notified the service manager who said we dont see what you are seeing- now the light keeps coming on but we are out of warranty (please keep in mind that we have never towed anything). Lastly the recall where we the issue of the brakes not working at low speeds did not work. My husband tried to tell the service manager who brought in the mechanic who tried to turn my husbands words into something different- and to basically have us spend more money on a repair that we feel should have been covered in the recall. Every time we go to service our truck I feel like I am not heard, always feel like my issue (whatever it is at the time) is not fixed, and the truth is we have lost the trust of this service department. I was going to buy a car before the year was up at this dealer but unfortunately I am now considering other dealerships.
I ultimately didnt end up purchasing a vehicle with them, but am very please with their service. I worked with Drew and Chris who I felt were very transparent, accommodating, friendly, and genuinely looking out for my best interest. They made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process of looking for a vehicle.Of the several dealerships I recently visited, I also felt that they had the best Covid-19 safety protocol/precautions.
Worst experience I ever had. From my receipt it says to reset tire pressure monitors per customer request. I did not request that.Frank called and said I needed a new left outer tie rod which I agreed to. Never got a new tie rod but tech recommended a new one in future, also on receipt. On receipt it says belt requires immediate attention. I was never told of this and I had to bring it up when I saw it on the receipt when I picked my car up.On receipt it says customer acknowledges receiving original estimate of 400 plus tax. That’s a lie and I didn’t sign it or was asked to sign it.I wanted an oil change, tire rotation and 4 wheel alignment. Frank said it would be 195 plus tax. I said ok. When he called back and said it needed a new tie rod the part and labor would make the total of all work 276 plus tax.Final bill was 390 with no new tie rod. When I dropped my car off only 1 tire pressure sensor was not working. Now all 4 aren’t working. The service manager said they all died. So in over 6 years, one goes bad but in the less than 24 hours my car was at Grand Prize the other 3 died? How stupid does he think I am?When I picked up my car there was a big scratch on the front end that was not there when I dropped the car off. When I picked my car up and closed the door when I got home it made a rattling sound, almost like something is loose that was not making that sound when I dropped my car off at Grand Prize. The service manager Bill Fagan texted me to ask about my experience. I notified him of all those issues I just mentioned but he never responded to me.Would have been nice to know that my belt needed immediate attention before I picked my car up.I spent 390 dollars and now my car has more issues than when I brought it to Grand Prize. In closing this was by far the worst experience I had at a dealer or mechanic. I bought my car there and had it serviced many times before there. I will never use Grand Prize ever again. I will be on social media leaving my rating of this experience. My friends and family know I use to work for an AC Delco Distributor and ask for recommendations for car repair. I will tell them to stay far away from you. Please take me off your mailing list and lose my number. My lawyer after looking over the receipt, text message, heard my story and saw my car recommended I contact the Better Business Bureau.
Let me start by saying concierge/ service agents were very pleasant/helpful people and i was happy to deal with them however....I got SCAMMED by Grand Prize Cadillac/Chevrolet/GM.... So up until this point in my life I thought all the lying and scamming took place before you purchased the vehicle but I was wrong. Just because you buy a six-figure car it doesn’t mean you’re entitled to the warranty promis apparently. To make a long story short I brought my car in to the dealer for transmission service and rear end service because The car was under warranty and I didn’t want to do anything outside the dealer that would void warranty. As soon as I got in the car I knew something was different so I called up they told me that the car had to relearn my driving patterns because they reset the computer. 800 miles later my transmission is toast. Upon researching this issue I found that this is a semi common problem and that GM lost a lawsuit with my car and that a good portion of times it has to do with people under filling the oil, so I Checked the oil myself with 3 other people in a video and sure enough it was low on oil. I sent this video to the dealership and they told me that they would not replace my transmission under warranty because my car had “calibrations” I to questioned them further about what calibrations means? I got a bunch of vague paragraphs which I will attach to this post. It looks like I’m going to have to pursue this legally and it’s probably going to take some time for me to get reimbursed so in the meantime I’m going to have to shell out eight to $10,000 for a new transmission even though my car is within the warranty period. I suppose in their minds someone who can afford to spend six figures on a car can afford $8000 for a new transmission ...Those of you who know me know that I don’t have financial means of that caliber but I guess if I want my car back, where there’s a will there’s a way. This will be the last general motors vehicle I buy of any kind as much as I’ve loved chevy my whole life I can’t in good conscience buy another one of their products. Just thought it should be known.Update: I called the number posted in response to my review. (Supposedly the owner) I received a short winded apology and that was that... I take it from the conversation that transpired this is not uncommon occurrence for this dealership.
Brought my car in to have the wheel and rim repaired under the insurance I purchased. Jennifer was extremely helpful and got the claim approved in a timely manner. Only thing was I had to rent my own car for 3 days since there was none available. I cant really put that on the dealership since we are all going through trying times with this pandemic.
If I could leave more than 5-stars, I would. My lease was up on my Edge and I had shopped around for something different. Went to numerous different dealerships and was not pleased. I went to Grand Prize during the week to check out the GMCs and was greeted by Marc. I have never quite had an experience like this one. He was so patient, understanding and helpful. Just beyond knowledgable and attentive. The entire process could not have been smoother... from finding me the trim I liked, to showing me features of the vehicle, he is fabulous! I drove home my new 2020 GMC Terrain today and I could not be happier with both the vehicle and the customer serviced I received. I have plenty of friends/family that have a GMC and I will be sending them here from now on! A true asset to this dealership, I will be recommending him to everyone. Thank you again, Marc. You have a customer for years to come!
Thank you for allowing me to have my car repaired even though I did not have an appointment. It was an emergency as the engine light came on and the staff was very accommodating. As a healthcare practitioner that worked through the COVID crisis, I know how difficult it is to add an extra appointment to the day, The staff did it without hesitation. I appreciate the service. .
This was my first car purchase in GMC, and since I’ve been through a lot of dealership going back and forth, I almost felt unsuccessful. Last stop before I head home was to drop-by the GMC of nanuet. Then I met this guy Marc Rothenberg, he was really different from my previous ones, extra kind, friendly and very accommodating. He helped me throughout the entire process, and with all his expertise and advices, I was able to pull it through. I am very happy with my new truck. Thank you Marc you are indeed a great employee! And for the GMC team, I wish you guys all the best and continued success in the business. Goodluck!
As my old car was becoming a bigger problem than was worth it, my son convinced me to see Linda, whom he bought a Traverse from earlier this year, and look into a new car. When I arrived I had the Trax in mind but I was a nervous wreck about another monthly payment. Linda, with the patience of a Saint, took her time showing me 3 different SUVs and we did an comparison of which would be best for my budget. I, eventually, ended up with the Trax. I honestly dont think I would have leased/bought anything if I went to another dealership because of Linda, having the ability...gift...to calm my nerves a bit, I am now driving my 2021 leased Trax. It was all in all a very good experience. I have already told people about Grand Prize and Linda if they are ever in the market for a Chevy or Buick.
This car would be my 3rd car purchased with Grand prize. I have been doing business with Phil for many years, and it doesnt disappoint. My recent experience was amazing as usual and Joe was a huge help in the process. I am so grateful!, my mother Denise Correllus also purchased a vehicle weeks before and the experience was just as amazing.Thank you for all you do!
We dropped off our car for a gear shift issue. The representative explained how the day would work and would call us with information. He called back explaining how parts needed to be ordered. The best part was that he heard something in the brakes and rotors so is planning to get them fixed at the return visit as well.
Great job fixing oil leak and working with me on cost when other dealers wouldnt. Only issue was when I picked up the car there were dirty service matts in front which I had to remove. Interior of car appeared to be sprayed but not wiped down so I had to a fair amount wiping down and interior cleaning
My experience with Frank was absolutely amazing. My experience with Chevrolet /GM as a whole is absolutely POOR!!!! I am not too sure why i am getting penalized and having to pay almost $5000 out of pocket for an expense that should have been covered under warranty. I purchase my vehicle in 2014 Only 6 Years ago with currently only 86K miles under the 150K mile limit. Why wasnt it covered under my bumper to bumper Certified per owned warranty. I had no prior knowledge to previous owner purchase date and was told by GM that it expired this year and could not be Honored. During a time like this you would think that GM would make some accommodations. How am I suppose to know that this warranty starts when previous owner purchase date what if I purchased this car last year so you mean to tell me that it would have expired in a year. I will continue to push this issue because from a customer point of view its not right
Everyone was great and helpful. The vehicle was better than my expectations and the process was really easy. My only issue was that I was supposed to have the vehicle delivered to my home and that could not be done because of the current pandemic crisis so they were short handed. As far as the vehicle goes, A+. The only downside is that there is an odd chemical smell which can be attributed to cleaning of the vehicle. I hope to be able to get rid of it with air freshener, etc. Thanks, love the SUV!
I was told that I needed a wheel alignment on a preowned certified vehicle that was purchased a week prior. (The vehicle did not need an alignment.) I was also told that a nail in my tire could not be removed and that the tire could not be plugged/repaired because it was illegal/against state law to do so. I was told that I needed to purchase a new tire. Needless to say, I took my vehicle elsewhere the next day and got the tire repaired. I dont trust this dealership and will advise everyone I know to stay away from this place.
Richard Ceballos and his team at Grand Prize Chevrolet are the best! This was the easiest, simple, and painless vehicle purchase I ever made! Completely transparent transaction! If your looking for excellent customer service and a great deal Grand Prize Chevrolet is the place to go!
Just want to take this time to thank Zack Ringer over at service department. He made my first time at Grand Prize a nice experience. He was forthcoming and explained everything I needed to know for that service and any future services. Thanks again. See you soon. Just wanted to add to this review that I want to thank Toni for getting me in on Friday for my service and I didn’t have to wait another week. Thanks again. Also I worked with Liz in service yesterday and it was a pleasure to work with her. Thank you again.
Came in as a walk in and was greeted immediately. Front desk personnel immediately asked which car I came in to look at. They had someone come over. Ondrej (pronounced Andre) came over and showed us the Traverse we were looking for. He diligently went over different trim levels but made sure he wrote down what features we were looking for and also asked us questions to find out if we qualified for certain rebates. He got us the right trim that we needed. We were also looking at paying a certain payment and management had a no hassle no back and forth negotiation. We easily within minutes were able to get the price we were comfortable with and also had our remaining payments taken care of for our Honda. The final part of the process going through finance was a breeze and they werent pushy on selling you the different packages. We said no to them and there wasnt any push back. All in all great service. Left with the new Traverse today.
As always, the Grand Prize Staff goes above and beyond. This visit Frank was my Service Advisor. He got me checked in, kept me apprised of my vehicles progress, and made sure I was out in a timely manner. I say it every time, these guys are the absolute best. Their Service Staff is incomparable! Their Service Director, Tony Circelli, and all the management team, are all top notch leaders and managers. Ive dealt with quite a few dealerships in my time both personally, and professionally, and Im not exaggerating when I say these guys are the absolute BEST!
It took me a while to get an appointment. When I finally got an appointment I told them, I need an oil change, brakes making a squeaking noise and I had ‘Service Transmission’ message. When I dropped off the car I declined the more expansive service bundle but asked for the brake pads to be replaced. After getting my car back (I had sent someone to pick it up at the end of the day) I was surprised to see that my brakes were never touched instead they put on my sheet that it needs to be replaced at my next visit stating that I declined servicing the brakes.I tried calling the servicing department 3 times with no success to get someone on the phone, I called the manager a few times only to get his voicemail. At this point I’m sure I will have to replace the rotors as well.I will never use this service again and probably buy a different car that I can service locally without having to go thru this nightmare again.Thank you!
A wonderful dealership and sales person! Leased a gmc terrain yesterday, got the best deal I ever got all my years leasing. The salesman Marc R. was a professional and a gentleman. He worked with us to get a great deal. Marc explained everything step by step. Absolutely no sales pressure. The best car leasing experience ever. Thanks for a great experience.Thomas G.
It was great I was welcome when i came thru the doors and was helped right away and the dealer who helped me Andrew was very kind and answered all my questions. While walking to look at the car I asked about other cars and he answered every question. It was a Pleasure speaking and dealing with Andrew. If I could I would give Andrew 10 cross the board I would. I will come back!
Jenn was kind and compassionate, which was a pleasant surprise, especially after dealing with piss poor service at Paramus Chevrolet, Paramus was dishonest and bordered on criminal with the lies they told me about my vehicle. Jenn made me a customer of yours for life!
Salesman, Bob Lysiac, was exceptional and treated my wife and I with respect and we felt like weve known him for years. We felt no pressure at all and even after we decided mid deal to change to a different color Traverse which was in stock, it was no problem at all. We will definitely be back for our next vehicle purchase, as long as we can deal with Bob again.
So i was told that a tire alignment was $150 and the special discounted price for today was $115( wink wink). Said to mysef that seems expensive. I searched on your website and found that a tire alignment is $109.95. So explain to me how i was suppose to get charged more with a so-called discount already of $35??? When i called them out on this, she said oh no problem ill charge the $109.95. Why did it even have to get to that point?? So basically u guys price gouged me. Nice!
Great dealer & service center. Joe Lavine is a really honest and straight shooter for me and the family. Have been a Chevy owner from since 2002. Highly recommend Joe.Service center is awesome as well. Easy to work with, guided me through maximizing my warranty saving me on my wallet. Always returned with a nice car wash! Very happy and loyal customer!
I loved the customer service! Mr. Marc was our salesman and he went above and beyond! I had my 3 children with me, and he was so patient and understanding. He even brought the cars I test drove to the front so I wouldnt have to keep up with 3 kids in the car lot! They have great prices and they werent pushy. I have no complaints. Grand Prize took the stress out of the car buying experience! I would definitely recommend this dealership!
The service department at Grand Prize is truly 5 star service .Frank & Jen my Service Advisors and the Service Dept Manager Bill always know what’s wrong with my car quickly and have it ready for me promptly. They are stellar at their jobs . Even if it’s just a simple oil change & tire rotation they show how knowledgeable they are .This specific service was even better than expected , given we are in the middle of the Cov 19 crisis in NY right now .I called and was shocked they were open and able to get my car in for the much needed oil change so quickly .When I arrived , they had signs asking everyone to leave the keys in the car and wait outside the vehicle. Everyone was protected with masks and gloves . It was clear they were following all the state regulations to keep this virus at bay , while still providing a very essential service .It was very pleased to see them taking the steps to keep themselves and the customers safe .Truly all around 5 star service at Grand Prize Nanuet.
Salesman Will Pichardo was very professional, honest, and helpful. Will understood my needs and finances and was able to deliver. I needed to meet a certain number and with the assistance of Sales Manager John Regan I was able to buy my new car. One of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. Both gentlemen did a great job, keep up the great work.
John Yantsos, the body shop manager and his team provided exceptional professional service, even going out to their way to accommodate my repair into their busy schedule. He quoted reasonable rates and worked with the paying party without any lapse to complete the job on time. John, is very courteous and thorough making sure the job is done to my satisfaction. The car was done beautifully and kept clean for me on pickup. Thank you , John & GMC Grand Prize for the excellent workmanship and for putting me at ease. Great Job!! Will recommend you guys to everyone I knew.
The people at the dealership were wonderful. They took away all the anxiety of buying a new car. The explanations were very clear and the whole process went smoothly. My whole family was very impressed with the way we were treated. We have been loyal Chevrolet owners since the 1950s and this is one of the main reasons why. Thank you.
Ive left numeros massages for Jonathan the lease end person about setting up an appointment to return an end of a lease car never got a phone call back. My name sounds jewish i would say thats the only reason i could see why i was ignored. I wouldnt advise anyone to deal with them.
The service team did not do right by me and it’s been two days and I’m still waiting for a callback from the managerI am driving around in a car that has mold and mildew with is not healthy just because there was no loaner for me- I lease a car so I don’t have issues like this. I have had a GMC twice and now with this type of service I will be looking to lease elsewhere - it’s a shame because I like my trucks however the service with GMC has been horrible and customers deserve better than that
Really we had great and seamless buying experience , especially Linda Cicero who is sale person who helped out us .she gave us great knowledge on the car and our requirements , and about incentives offers available.Definitely I would recommend my friends and family to grand prize .Great place , people & car .
Very nice staff until you pick up the car. This is my third GMC Terrain from Grand Prize, once you pick up the car, everyone at Grand Prize disappears. The sale man does not return phone call, not answering .emails. I have a refund check that Im expecting from Grand Prize, it has been two weeks, and when I emailed the salesman, he does not return email, not return phone calls. This is not the way to conduct business.
Do NOT go to this dealer for service! They are all liars and con artists and the customer service there is horrible! I experienced an overheat alert on my engine last month. I scheduled service to have my engine checked on Thursday, June 27. I was called later on in the day and told that my water pump and hoses needed to be replaced. I had all of the necessary parts replaced and paid almost $1700 for these repairs. A few weeks later on Friday, July 12 I receive the same overheat alert for my engine. I brought the car back to be checked on Tuesday, July 16. On that date I was told that my radiator cap and coolant tank needed to replaced, and I had these items replaced by the dealership with no charge to me. A few hours later I was called and told that my engine was fried! I was then told that I might need a new engine head which would cost $4200 or an entire new engine which would cost $8000. Do NOT bring your car here!
About a month ago I scheduled an appointment to have my truck serviced on Saturday 4/11/2020. When I spoke to the person they said okay not a problem we will see you then. Fast forward to 4/11/2020, I pull into the parking lot at about 7:45 for my 8 oclock appointment. I wait there until 8 and the inside of the service drive looks like a ghost town. As I continued to wait, it didnt seem as though anyone was showing up. So at 8:30, still nobody was inside so I left. Monday morning I call the dealership and was told that the service department was not operating on Saturdays any longer during this pandemic. That would have been nice to know considering I blocked off a chunk of my time to go up there. In addition the schedule most likely showed my appointment for Saturday 4/11 and yet nobody though that it would be a good idea to call me to let me know that they are going to be closed on Saturdays until further notice. When I spoke with someone that Monday they tried to reschedule me for during the week which is fine but I work so I am not available during the day, I would need an evening appointment. When I stated that to the representative they said the dealership closes at 4pm, so there are no longer evening appointments and no Saturday appointments. So I said I will have to call back. For the next 2 weeks I kept getting phone calls from service advisors telling me that I am due for maintenance, which I obviously knew based upon my original appointment. Spoke to multiple people in the service department and explained what was going on and every person I spoke to said let me speak to my manager and get back to you. Now its a good thing I didnt hold my breath because im still waiting for those phone calls back. All in all, i am very disappointed with the service side this go around. I left work early one day to get my vehicle serviced because it needed to get done. However if it wasnt for the free maintenance that I had from when I leased the vehicle I would not of had my vehicle serviced at this dealership, I would have went elsewhere. When I did in fact get my vehicle serviced, maybe after 5 min of me being in the waiting room, the service advisor walks in and said he checked my alignment and found that the right front was out of alignment. Now I leased the vehicle through the dealership and only had maybe 12500 miles on the vehicle. I stated that to the service advisor and he said there was nothing could do, which I dont believe because I have worked as a service advisor and have had alignments covered under warranty with under 13k miles. Needless to say I probably wont be returning here for service and possibly wont lease another Chevrolet though the dealership.
Leased our Acadia through them 2 years ago. The car started giving us an alert last week that even though it was shifted into park it wouldnt process the car being in park so it wouldnt shut off. When we called to make an appointment to bring it in, they said it sounded like a faulty sensor and would be covered under warranty. We tried making an appointment and they kept telling us they had to call back because the service manager was unavailable. They never called back so we called every day for a week to get the car in because we were at the point where we had to disconnect the battery every time we wanted to turn the car off. Finally got a hold of the service manager a week later and she said she had no appointments but if we brought it in first thing in the morning when they opened they might be able to squeeze us in. Woke up so early to bring the car in, they took it telling us that because it was now 1700 miles over the lease mileage that it was NOT covered by warranty and diagnostic alone would cost $145. After 3 hours they diagnosed it and found the problem it would cost another $600 in parts and labor. All this for a FAULTY part!!! Go figure as soon as the car is off warranty that is when there is a faulty part? sounds suspicious! They didnt help us at all with the price and then tried to upsell us on other maintenance we didnt need or want. CRIMINALS! Will be going back to Ford when the lease is up. Why bother bringing a car to the dealership for maintenance when they are only going to rob you blind and not be loyal to customers? That really puts a bad taste in our mouths.
My experience was HORRIBLE!!! I contacted them a week prior to a service visit. I explained in detail what I needed done. I purchased a set of tires for a 2017 Corvette. I needed them mounted and balanced, and also wheel alignment. They provided pricing as about $230 to do the job. I explained that I would drop off the tires the morning of service and bring back the car for the service. I get back to the dealer after dropping off the tires in a vehicle that the tires could fit in. I check in with service and they do their thing and I go into the customer waiting area. Moments later someone comes in and tells me they do not have a machine that could change the tires nor could the car fit into the wheel alignment machine?? He then proceeds to suggest Eastern tire around the corner from them he calls them and they tell him they could do it. The dealer rep now offers to take the tires over to Eastern tire for me as a courtesy. Since I spent my morning running around I thought I might as well give it a shot. Well I get over there and Im told that my front tires I ordered were not run flat tires and the rear tires were, the end result from Eastern tire was that didnt want to do the job because the front tires were not run flat, but they were the same brand, tread, and size as the run flat. Well I ended up wasting my time on both locations which the entire situation seems really sketchy a dealer that cant service a vehicle they sell and they setup the service for it and wasted my time. When I went back to pick up the tires from Eastern Tire in Nanuet, NY I asked what would be the price for the mounting and balancing of the tires since I was sent there blindly without pricing. Eastern tire said $54 each for the front and $64 each for the rear plus tax. How does this sound to all of you logical sane people???
Terrible experience with the service department. I’ve been there 3times for oil change and diagnosis, and every time I’ve faced the same issue with the same person. You should drop off the car for a day! It’s lunch time! Then why did you give me an appointment for 1pm? Is 2:45 lunch time too! Seriously!!!! It takes you a day to change the oil?!?! If you wanna eat and not working from 1-4, then why do you give people appointment for that time?!He is so rude. He hasn’t learnt to not talking to customers while his mouth full.I’m really sorry for the manager!
My Grandmother just bought a new Buick Encore, made the experience quick and easy for her. Very accommodating with transfering from old car to new one. Very well run dealership. No games. Take care of returning customers. Would recommend to anyone looking for a painless buying experience!
I brought in my 3 year-old Volt for service after the check engine light came on and nixed the inspection. I was able to easily make an appointment online (on a Sunday) for the next morning. Brought the car in and within 2 hours, they called back with the good news that they were able to perform a simple fix and there was no charge. And they washed the car.
This place is so unprofessional, I got inside information straight from an employee that these people lie about their alignment reports they show you up front and lie about how bad things really are just to get more money out of a service issue. with this warning we went to another dealer and they gave me a different story on the condition of the car, also an employee got upset about giving us a promised remote starter for the agreed price at time of sale. I feel like these service people get some type of commission. We had a steering wheel fixed and yet the car is still doing the same thing. I call to set up an appointment and they try to hang up and call you back and then dont get a call. one employee doesnt want to deal with another employees problems so they try to pass you off to one another, its ridiculous.
I’ve been purchasing vehicles from Grand Prize for many years now. They’ve always provided me with excellent quality & service. Recently, I purchased a new vehicle for my wife and had the pleasure of meeting the new Manager, Solomon Faizi. He is a true gentleman and professional. We were overly pleased with how he treated us and how he took the time to make sure our purchasing process was progressing smoothly. It’s individuals like Solomon and his well trained staff that will ensure I remain a Grand Prize customer for many more years to come.Dr. Pete C.
I had a car confirmed with them for a lease, they put an inquiry on my credit file and it was fine. Then the next day they call me to say that ther was a misunderstanding and the car wasnt available from the first place! They didnt even try to offer me a similar car for the same quote I had, they just told me that we have other cars and we can give you a new quote if you would like to...Edit: please dont sign with Denise name. I called her and she has no idea how to even use google maps. Are you just replying to show that youre taking it seriously? Well, you just made yourself look like a fool.
Zach was very accommodating and professional during a protracted service experience. He was on top of the situation and communicated effectively, keeping me posted of the situation during my transmission rebuild. My only concern is not related to Zachs stellar performance, rather GMs decision to rebuild the transmission rather than simply replace it. Given the torque converter, transmission fluid pump, a number of clutch mechanisms, and other parts needed replacement, it seems to me that would warrant a replacement. It would also show that GM is equally concerned about the customer experience as they are with the most cost effective solution.
Your manager, Pat Tripodi and our salesman Rich Santana, did a great job making the process smooth and pleasant during these difficult times. Their knowledge of the products and their professionalism enhanced the buying experience and add significant value to your dealership.
I have to say one thing about Grand Prize Auto. I had a terrific shopping experience because of one person Linda Cicero sales rep for Grand Prize. She has made my shopping experience for a car a very pleasant one. Courteous, patient, no push, no rush. Friendly! First car sales person I found who truly cares about your needs.
I was quite skeptical as to how my dealership experience would go before I went inside. I had been interested in the Chevy Volt and was prepared with many questions. Thankfully the sales representative that assisted me, Rob Sommers, was EXCELLENT. During and after my test drive, all of my questions were answered. The overall pleasant experience pushed me towards my first Chevrolet purchase and I couldnt be happier
Terrible experience with this dealership. First I was told I had a “VIP appointment” with one of the sales managers who never showed their face. Then the sales associate who did work with us didn’t listen to a word we said. Tried to sell us a car that had bells and whistles we would never use just to upsell us. He then insinuated we could never afford the car when it didn’t match random numbers we through out. Customer care wasn’t any better when they tried to “fix” the situation. They told even the base model was out of our price range without talking numbers, down payment, or terms. Safe to say we got this car from a different dealership in the area that actually took the time to listen to the trim we wanted and talk numbers.
Walked in after making an appointment with their on line people.Let with Linda and explained to her what I was looking for, she was fantastic!!!We drove and tested the car I was interested with. The main point I would like to bring up is the huge difference I had in my experience between dealing with her and dealing with another car sales man in next door dealership. While one was literally making up numbers and trying to sell me the car I was not interested with my experience with Linda was another story. She answered all my questions, listen to my frustrations, looked very thoroughly for every possible deal or car they had available and so on and so forth.I wasn’t able to lease a car from her unfortunately because what I was looking at was over my budget BUT maybe next time, I will not hesitate to go back and will recommend her to anyone!
Price on used Camaro was already fair on the Internet and I expected to run into a bunch of fee’s but there was nothing other than taxes, DMV and a $75 doc fee. Process was quick and easy and I drove home in the vehicle in just a few hours. Definitely recommend in every way!
Overall, it was a good experience. The staff was very welcoming and easy to talk to. They helped me in any way they could while providing me with information on the vehicles sold here at Grand Prize. Andreas England was especially helpful in guiding along the way to my purchase.
My radio was not working properly so I took it in and they gave me a loaner. I was in and out in 15 minutes. They called me the next morning that the car was done and I picked it up with no issues, completely under warranty and they even washed the car for me. Great service.
Rich Santana is the most attentive salesman Ive ever had the pleasure of working with. He goes above and beyond for his clients including bending over backwards to find them the car they want at the price they want, driving customers cars in for service appointments, and the list goes on. That, coupled with his knowledge and passion of the product make working with him a trulyrewarding experience, he makes his customers feel like they are driving a car they feel good about purchasing off the lot, rather than being sold a bill of goods. I can speak for myself and others when I say I wouldnt deal with any other dealership or salesman.
Blown away with the service department. Kept me updated on my vehicle as it was being worked on. Service was quick and easy. Provided me with a ride home and the shuttle drive was excellent and was even nice when he came to pick me up. I was actually happy to be at grand prize due to the fact of how friendly everyone is! My service writer was laura and I recommend her to anyone!
I guess the last positive reviewer bought the car that Grand Prize wanted him to purchase. Beware that at times, employees are asked to provide a review for the place he or she works. Companies do this all the time, to bump up the reviews. This dealerships management was unprofessional and rude. Do your homework through consumer reports, true car, and other resources, and make sure you get everything in writing. If you are a loyal General Motors customer and/or have a family member, or yourself, who have worked for the company, go elsewhere, as there is no appreciation for the GM Family.
I just purchased a 2017 Chevy Malibu from the people at Grand Prize Chevrolet in Nanuet. I must say that I was very impressed with the professionalism of the management and sales staff. I couldnt beat the price anywhere and the car definitely exceeds my wishes and needs. I would recommend this dealer to any of my friends and associates.Good job guys and ThanksJack Curran
Despite the fact that GMC in general makes the absolute worst cars on the planet Grand Prize does very little to help ease the pain in their service department. I have had this car for three years and after 5 recalls that never seem to have available fixes right away I am fed up. I contacted the service department awhile back about a trunk door that continued to smash down on my head because it broke for no reason only to be told that my car was no longer under warranty and I would be charged a few hundred dollars to get this fixed. I asked the guy if this was something he has heard before (along with my no longer functioning windshield wiper fluid) and he replied NO absolutely not, first time hearing this Miss. Ironically, a few months late a letter of yet another recall comes to my mailbox about this exact issue! Putting this aside my car is no longer running properly. It has shut off three times in one day. I used on-star to diagnostic once I got the car running and the operator tells me it is a Power train and Engine Control Malfunction. I call service department and speak to Ray to find out if this is covered. I am cautiously told that yes I have a Power Train warranty but they are not completely sure that is the problem so I will have to pay $129 to find out. Oh, and they NEVER EVER EVER have loaners. EVER. I have called to do service on my car several times and no matter what day of the week you call (they say beginning of the week is best-yet today is Monday) they do not have cars. ISNT THIS A CAR DEALERSHIP??? And you NEVER have cars!!!! I cannot wait for the day that I can drive this piece of garbage back into the dealership and hand over the keys because by the way I have been treated I WOULD NEVER buy another car from these people ever again. Anyone who writes a decent review of these people are family members I am convinced.
Where to start! I purchased a 2018 Equinox about a month ago. The buying expierence was fantastic. Rob L and Tara were beyond fantastic. I never felt pressured into a purchase I did not want to make. When it came time to purchase the vehicle Rob went so far as to comforting my 90 year old grandfather as he had to question the safety aspect of the car. He even took him for a personal tour of the vehicle and rest drive. Once the vehicle was purchased I have been in the shop now on there different occasions for three different things. All three times I was helped by the magnificent Solomon. The first time was helping with a small dent in the car. He immediately got me the solution and the situation was rectified. The second time I was having troubles with some of the new technology the car has to offer. He personally tutored me as to how to use the vehicle. The third was when my psi was low. He personally took the car and had then situation remedied within ten minutes! Fantastic crew here at Grand Prize !!!!
This is my third car I have bought from Grand Prize Cadillac. I have had only 5 star experience from all those I have come into contact with. Linda Cicero our Sales agent for the last two cars had be really hands on. The service dept goes above and beyond. If any one wants a great experience. Grand Prize is the place to go,
I was in the market for a Chevy Equinox and went to Grand Prize. I had an amazing shopping experience at Grand Prize because of Joseph Sinatra. He has made my experience for a car a very pleasant one. Courteous, patient, not pushy and extremely friendly. Hes the first car sales person I found who truly cares about your needs. I would highly recommend not only Joseph Sinatra as a sales person but Grand Prize as a whole!
Sales person was fine. However my father was pushed into buying an extended warranty. When we tried cancelling they got very defensive and belligerent and the manager jason wouldn’t even give us his real name. He said his name was Chevy and told us to call a number that was out of service to cancel the warranty. Finally got a hold of the person who sold us the warranty and she said we have to send an email requesting to cancel it. It’s been 2 weeks and they said it’s still processing. They also won’t release the registration and plates to us because they said they didn’t get the title for the car we traded in yet. We already paid for registration and everything. The temp registration is now expired and they still won’t send us the plates and registration. Do NOT buy a car from here.
Josh Baker handled my recent warranty repair on my 2018 Colorado and did an excellent job. The problem, which GM initially only gave a bulletin describing the issues regarding a poorly designed surge tank for the cooling system on the Chevy Colorado was ordered and promptly replaced on 3/7/19. The technician got the job done fast and I was back into my vehicle within a couple of hours.

2022-06-01I had a great experience. Marc made the whole process so easy. He was kind, listened to my needs, and did not rush me once I signed the papers. I hope he is still working there the next time I need a car. Signing all the papers was quick and easy too. Both showrooms were clean, inviting, and everyone was extremely friendly. When my husband needs a new truck, we will be coming back.

2022-01-12My advisor, Alyssa was fantastic. She laid everything out for me in an honest, concise way.I just can’t believe the cost of a simple maintenance visit. I would think in this day and age of dealerships making a fortune on vehicles, that they wouldn’t price gouge their loyal repeat customers on service visits.

2022-01-05Dropped my Chevy Bolt off due to a recall and while there had a couple of other issues that I wanted taken care of during this time. I was given a loaner to utilize while my car was being serviced. Jennifer took care of my questions and arranged my visit so there wasn’t any delays dropping off and picking up my car. I was happy to see that my vehicle was taken care of in a timely manner. I’m delighted with the performance of my Chevy Bolt and the fantastic service that I receive at Grand Prize Auto. I know where to make all future purchases when the time comes for a new vehicle. Thank You

2022-02-05While the service dept. was excellent, the sales dept. has acted deceptively and underhandedly, switching the car I signed to lease with a different vehicle that I didnt even test drive, failing to use (three separate times) my GM credit card dollars and making up a second contract for much more money every month than the first contract. No one wants to take responsibility for cheating me. At least the service dept. was courteous and didnt charge for an alignment that the vehicle needed the very day I picked it up (believing it was the car I originally test drove and signed for). The service dept. kept its promise to get me out in time for me to make it to a medical appointment. There is, fundamentally, something amiss when AI wants to/makes a car drive a certain way instead of the way I, a driver of nearly 50 years with no accidents that I caused, want to drive.

2021-12-28A pleasure to deal with. All the other dealers I contacted about my issues first had me wait for weeks to get an appointment and then told me I would have to leave my vehicle for 2 months before they would even look at the issues. Beyond ridiculous. Your service was great. I brought my vehicle in on Thursday knowing we had a holiday weekend coming up and it was looked at and fixed by midday Monday. Kudos to you. Keep up the good work!

2022-03-15It is a strange time, the inventory is very low changes happen every day. But Marc made the whole process fun. He communicated clearly with every step, between telling us which cars were expected soon that fit our needs to the changes in expected delivery. He is an amazing representative for Grand Prize!

2022-02-17Although I did not purchase my car from Grand Prize Chevrolet, (purchased it from an online broker during the peak of Covid) they still treat me as one of their valued customers. Jennifer is my go to girl for anything I need for my Chevy Traverse. They are the only folks I will go to for any maintenance my car requires. If I have any future needs with my car I will certainly go back to them. I highly recommend them for any service and when I need to purchase or lease a new car I will be sure to give them by business. I am certain their sales people are as top notch as Jennifer and the other folks working in the maintenance department. They also was your car for you which is a welcomed extra perk. I brought my car in for its 15,000 mile checkup. I chose to wait for my car. They were done in less than an hour. They have a very comfortable waiting area with free WIFI. I HIGHLY recommend them.

2022-02-18Your Service Advisor, Jennifer Bishop, took very good care of me and made sure everything was taken care of. I would DEFINITELY recommend her to other customers. Shes very honest with you and lets you know everything that has to be done before the automobile has to be serviced.Paul MatternSatisfied Customer

2022-03-23I have used Grand Prize in the past for our last two vehicles so we decided to go back again. Once again, I had a great experience. We worked with Wilbur again, and he made everything easy and he is Al ways pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend this dealership and Wilbur in particular.

2022-01-28I leased my brand new 2022 Camaro LT1 with the amazing help of “Maurice”. I first spoke with him on the phone & from there, I knew I was going to get the car that I wanted. I should mention that he is also a pretty funny guy, always throws in a joke or two. This was my first time leasing a vehicle on my own & he was more than helpful guiding me through everything. To add on, my new ride sounds & looks amazing, inside & out. Once again a huge thank you to Maurice.
