I’m not a fan of anything Dental related and I needed oral surgery for an implant. While I’ve only gotten the first part done, it was not a bad experience at all! The whole team is so nice, professional, and has a great bedside manner. I felt so taken care of and my anxieties about dental work only mean I’ve been going to the wrong places for too long! You get what you pay for and Dr. Dadoun took such great care of me! I knew the healing would be tough, and she returned my calls and answered emails when I had questions! Thank You!
I have dental phobia despite working in the field. I looked for a place that felt like a safe, calm and warm environment and this is where I found my dental home. An inviting welcome room, a wonderful hygenist who worked around my issues, and Dr. Jennifer who was so kind and welcoming. Thanks to everyone I saw today and excited for my next visit :)
Dr. Plotnick and Dr. Hassan are incredible. The entire staff is friendly and accommodating. The wait time is minimal and the office runs seamlessly. The treatment plans are clearly explained and carried out quickly and efficiently. The ambiance is not too bad either with nice music in the background and artwork in the walls makes the entire experience so much more enjoyable.
Grand street dental is fantastic! Organized and efficient, no long wait times. Extremely friendly staff who are both knowledgeable and helpful (shout out to dr.Kristine Hassan who transformed my smile). The front desk was able to contact my insurance, find out how much I’d be responsible for, all before my appointment- so I walked in with clarity! Highly recommend.
I’ve been going to this dentist for the past 5 years, and it’s been exceptional every time! Everyone is very friendly, knowledgeable, and makes you feel right at home. I’ve been here for regular cleanings, fillings, and am currently going through Invisalign treatment. I highly recommend this place if you’re thinking about Invisalign, Dr. Jennifer Plotnick really knows what she’s doing and thoroughly explains the entire process to you. The space is also absolutely beautiful and modern, and you’ll leave wanting the entire staff to be your best friends! 5 stars!
Grand Street Dental is by far the best dentist I’ve ever been to. I normally have horrible anxiety when it comes to dentists and I immediately feel calm when I walk into Grand Street Dental. I’ve also never felt pain during any of my visits and they are so kind remembering everything I’ve told them before. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
The greatest dental place ever. Theyre so nice and the place is so cool and welcoming. Super skilled and attentive to. I got Invisalign with Dr. Plotnick and its been great, we extended a couple times for some detailed fine tuning, no extra charge.

Grand Street Dental changed my whole perspective on dentistry. Coming from a person who used to be terrified of the dentist office, I could not recommend a better place to go for any of your dental needs. First visit at the clinic today. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly; everything was being explained perfectly. I did not feel like the appointment was rushed to get you in and out asap which I always appreciate at a dentist.
I can’t say enough about this practice. I’ve been a patient here for years, and even though I’ve now moved out of Williamsburg, I still make the trip back for my appointments because it is so well worth it. Caring, considerate, and very cool. Highly recommend!

Ok so Dr. Plotnick is the only dentist in the world who can make a wisdom tooth extraction fun. Seriously! She number me up, got the tooth out in under 5 minutes and had me laughing.The love, warmth and expertise of Dr. Plotnick and her team are astounding!If you haven’t worked with her yet, ditch your current dentist and become a patient with the added bonus of being part of the community she created at Grand Street Dental!

Grand Street Dental is by and far the best most awesome dentists’ office anywhere. It is beautiful and fun as well as having top in class, latest in technology and patient comfort equipment. But to be completely honest what makes it soo good is the entire staff that is so well educated and trained, but also super caring, and gentle. They literally have become like family, they are incredible and consistent. If you struggle with going to the dentist, this team will change that. I (now) LOVE going after a 40 + years of dreading “the dentist” and having panic attacks over it!! I can’t say enough…except that may teeth have never looked better! Dr Plotnik has set me up on a comprehensive restoration plan after years of neglect due to before mentioned anxiety. I have experienced the following treatments at GSD: Cleanings, Fillings, Root Canals (she makes beautiful porcelain crowns too), Invisalign, & implants are part of the treatment plan to to replace teeth removed ages ago . I have also been to a few referred doctors like an oral surgeon (I still had some wisdom teeth to be removed!) and a orthodontist before she offered Invisalign herself, all of which were great! Dr. Plotnik has a real knack for finding the best most caring people in the field both in and out of her office. I have never had a bad minute at this office, I am beyond grateful to have found them. ❤️

My Cap, that I had fitted in London, fell off and I was left dreading the notion of booking an emergency visit to a local dentist and suffering the obscene bill that goes along with it. I researched around, and Grand Street Dental almost looked too good to be true. I called, was told absolutely everything on the phone and was scheduled in almost immediately. I was skeptical going in, but I honestly say that it was by far and above the easiest, most pleasant dentist visits Ive ever experienced. Dr. Jennifer Plotnick and her entire team were absolutely astounding, so much so, that I felt compelled to write this review to confirm what all the other reviews state.Its such a warm and inviting environment, and they took such great pains to relay every bit of information to me, including options, costs, plans and alternatives. I wont get into costs, but I will say that what I paid, walking out of the door, was less than what two other dentists had quoted me just for a consultation. I cant recommend this practice more highly, and commend Dr Plotnick and her entire team on their incredible integrity and focus on the needs of the patient. Ill be a regular customer from hereon in. Theyre an absolute credit to the industry, and I couldnt possibly be more grateful to them.

Just got my teeth cleaned and I cannot recommend this dental office more. The safety procedures put in place are so thoughtful without feeling stiff or unfriendly in any way. Chelsey cleaned my teeth and took her time to chat with me (I feel like I was being extra chatty too and she was so patient) before diving in, had clearly read all the details from my previous appointment, and answered all my questions. I was in and out in 45 minutes, with all xrays, cleaning, and paying. I love this office so much. Everyone is so friendly.

The most dignified dental experience in NYC. Ive been coming here now for just about two years. Dr Plotnick and her staff of dental experts are so so so good at what they do. I had my teeth cleaned yesterday and it was my first visit since the COVID-19 Pandemic started. I was warmly greeted at the door by a staff member. She opened the door for me and provided hand sanitizer right away. They have booties for your feet (or you can remove your shoes). I was greeted a few minutes later by my favorite Hygienist. They have kept the office and exam rooms so clean, I felt very safe--but at the same time the relaxing and modern ambience was still there--not a sterile feeling at all just CLEAN. I work for an airline and I can appreciate how hard it is to make people feel welcome, safe, and show them that its going to be a good experience. I loved coming here before and love it even more now knowing how much Dr Plotnick and her staff have invested in our well--being. 10s across the board.
After hearing from other patients about how wonderful Dr Plotnick is, I just experienced it firsthand. First of all, the office is beautiful and welcoming (with great art, books and chill vibe). She has been our family dentist and we always enjoy going to see her.She is extremely professional and warm and provides all the information we need to understand whats going on with our teeth.Her prices are very reasonable, and at the same time, I know I am getting the most up-to-date information about what my options are with anything from cleaning, to bonding my chipped tooth.I highly recommend her and I think she gives some of the best personal experiences Ive ever had with a dentist.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Plotnick since she was part of a larger practice and found her to be an extraordinarily skilled and warm dental physician. She seems to genuinely care about her work and her patients — she’s an excellent listener, clearly works hard to make patients feel comfortable and overcome nervousness about potential pain (which was especially appreciated when I needed a large + scary crown replacement), and gives great advice. She’s very positive and makes the time to check in on her patients even when they just come in for a cleaning. Dr. Plotnick even had a great referral to a colleague for me when I moved out of town for a while. She definitely deserves the highest recommendation in terms of ability and kindness!

This review system needs a sixth star specifically for Grand Street Dental and everyone who works there. I cannot express just how elegantly Dr. Plotnick efficiently determined and fixed issues that had been affecting my teeth for years due to sloppy work by 3 previous dentists. Never have I been treated with more respect and kindness while in a dentists chair than at Grand Street Dental. I cannot recommend this team more highly, especially for anyone who has had any sort of nervousness about visiting the dentist. Ive also never been to a dentists office where the entire staff seems to genuinely enjoy working there, which says a great deal about how they do business. Im also very happy they didnt replace my all teeth with miniature marshmallows like Im afraid most dentists will. But seriously, Dr. Plotnick will blow you away with her incredible talent in dentistry, honesty, intelligence and kindness.

I have been to dentists all over the city and I can say from a place of experience, Dr. Plotnick is the best. I went in for a cleaning and for the first time I felt like the dentist explained everything in a way that I could understand, but also gave me confidence in their abilities and knowledge, and wasnt trying to upsell me on some new product or procedure. Dr. Plotnick was able to give me practical advice on dental care, what things are priorities, with a wonderful bedside manner. I have already scheduled a follow up visit to take care of things I had been waiting on, and am hugely relieved to finally have found a good dentist for myself and my family.I should also say the office is beautiful, great music, optional netflix, and the location is perfect and easy to get to, but the real jewel is Dr. Plotnick.
Dr. Jennifer Plotnick is by far the best dentist in Brooklyn, maybe even the best dentist in NYC!She is incredibly professional, a perfectionist, she always explains things before she begins, so that I feel calm and in very capable hands. I used to dread going to the dentist- but seeing her is fun and easy. She is more than just a dentist- Jennifer is up to date on art and cultural events in the city and always willing to share her tips on what to do and where to eat. Truly a gem I am so grateful to have met her. A patient for life!

Prior to visiting Dr.Plotnick I hadnt been to the Dentist in 5 years. To say I had a lot of catching up to do was an understatement and a bit scary, However Im so glad I chose Dr. Plotnick. She was super thorough and explained everything to me in a way that was comforting and easy to understand. I ended up needing quite a bit of work on my teeth but Dr.Plotnick is truly the best at what she does and I have the smile to prove it. Since my experience with her I have recommended her to friends.

A few years ago, a friend recommended I see Dr. Plotnick and shes been our family dentist ever since. Jennifer combines great communication skills and human warmth with technical chops and incredible knowledge of her field. Shes also great with kids; my daughter loves going to the dentist because of her. Most importantly, we know we can trust her to do whats right for our mouths and our wallets. Cant recommend her highly enough.
I love my dentists here, all of the ladies are so warm, patient and professional. I could not recommend them enough. I was a bit of a scared dental patient who has now come full circle. I’ve been 4 times now and each time never waited more then 15 minutes. Highly recommend.
Dr. Plotnick could not have been more accommodating. Following a very thorough cleaning and a couple of fillings, she took the time to answer my questions about options for closing up my diastema. After performing my own research I was mentally prepared for porcelain veneers. Upon examining my teeth, Dr. Plotnick came up with a much less invasive and less costly procedure that would not cause any modification/shaving off of my existing front teeth. Im not saying this solution would suit everyone, but she thoroughly went through all other options and explained the pros and cons of each and determined her suggestion for me based on my teeth and the results I was looking to gain. I appreciated her professionalism and direct honesty: it is so important for me to trust a dentist, and she certainly made me feel that. I decided to go with the proposed procedure and the results were better than I could have every imagined. I had trouble figuring out where my actual teeth used to be positioned, because the coloring and shape of the bonding matched so perfectly with my original front teeth. During the entire procedure she explained every single step she was taking and every tool she was using. Dentists offices make me pretty uncomfortable, and she could not have done a better job to change that existing perception for me. As much as my experience was a positive one, the real pay-off came later. I never realized how much I avoided smiling out of insecurities about my teeth until friends began to notice. It is incredible how such a simple procedure could change so much in my behavior and attitude towards life. My experience with Dr. Plotnick could not have been more of a win. Im so grateful for my experience and actually look forward to going back for regular cleanings now. It doesnt hurt that shes charismatic as hell, too. Thank you for making me smile!

Dr. Plotnick is great. I had an emergency over the holidays and was not able to get hold of my (mediocre) pervious dentist, and someone close to me recommended her. She saw me right away, and immediately went to work-- I needed an emergency root canal. She is friendly and calm and down to earth. She is gentle and smart, explains things before and as she does them, and she never bullied me to get more work done (something that happened with other dentists.) I am SOOOOO glad I found her!

After 10 years without a dentist, I consider myself lucky to have cracked a tooth that brought me to Dr. Plotnick. She gently broke the news that Id need a root canal, but being as I was set for vacation the next day (and wasnt in pain) she didnt push treatment that would leave me uncomfortable on a flight and at a wedding. As soon I I returned I went to Dr. Plotnick for the best first root canal ever! She kept me comfortable and painless through the whole process, and explained each step before and as she was working. I had done some research before my treatment and she appreciated my dental interest and addressed all my questions. Dr. Plotnicks treatment style is gentle, engaging, and leaves you feeling safe and fully cared for--never coerced, confused, or uncomfortable. I recommend all my friends to her! Despite the dental issue that might lead you there, youre a lucky patient to be in Dr. Plotnicks chair.

Dr. Plotnick has been my dentist for over a year and the quality of her work is incredible! She permanently fixed a chipped tooth that used to require frequent maintenance. She identified that I am a teeth grinder and placed me in a mouthguard that has made a huge difference. Also the coffee is not so bad.

Dr. Plotnick has an unrivaled passion and talent for her profession as a dentist, and specifically, for aesthetic dentistry. Although many practice the craft, not many are masters. I can fully attest to the fact that Dr. Plotnick is quickly on her way to being a grand master.Having suffered a sporting accident many years ago, I had to fix my teeth with crowns at the time. The dentist did a competent job with reasonable quality crown teeth that lasted a long time (17 years), however the appearance of my teeth were never ideal nor what I envisioned for myself in an ideal world. I guess you could say my teeth were not bad, but not one of my best features. Over time, the grinding of my non-crown teeth (canines back to the molars) also gave the appearance of a worn flat smile that also aged my overall look. Finally, after years of thinking about porcelain veneers, and wanting to do it (but not acting on it), I finally made the move.Enter Dr.Plotnick. After we discussed my situation and case at length, I quickly recognized she possessed next level strategies and incredibly well though out aestehtic foresight on how to achieve my desired result...the result I had envisioned for myself all these years. Having met with a couple other dentists over the years, none were overly confident I could expect a significant difference in freshening my look to the extent I wanted, and i guess thats one of the reasons I never wanted to spend the money for what seemed like would be a small difference . Dr.Plotnick was the first one to tell me that we could achieve what I wanted. (BTW, her office in Williamsburg has an unbelievable look and aesthetic, with state of the art equipment and very cool and knowledgable staff - special shout out to Laura who was involved in my case and is a sweetheart).After much thought, I finally decided to move forward with Dr Plotnick. Suffice it to say, my outcome was UNREAL. I write this in caps because the impact this decision has made in my life is profound. I not only get daily compliments on my teeth (which I never did before), but more importantly I am smiling more, and feel a sense of increased happiness. I feel that I am able to project a better version of myself, and that Im able to give off a better friendly energy far more than I did before. Despite my being a people person, I now realize that I was hiding my smile (subconsciously) which undoubtedly suppressed how I actually projected myself to the world.Without being overly verbose in this review, I really cant say it enough....a great smile and great teeth speak volumes about the person, and Dr.Plotnick had the skill level, aesthetic vision, and ability to make this all come to life. She is a genuine game changer and I cant thank her enough for bringing this new happiness into my life. One of the greatest decisions I ever made.Love Grand Street Dental and Dr. Plotnick.
Dr. Plotnick is professional, warm, and caring. Her attitude to her clients is exemplary. The team had me at ease the second I walked through the door; from Kris on reception, Lisa taking my x-rays, Liza taking care of me mostly in the chair, and Jen checking in and being very attentive throughout the whole process. Dr. Plotnick saved my life. I called on a Thursday afternoon while suffering what was certainly the most debilitating tooth pain of my life. Her helpful staff squeezed in an appointment the following morning, she made very quick work of isolating the problem, made the diagnosis (root canal!) and sent me out the door in total relief with a temporary cap an hour later. Praises be.All the followup visits were an absolute delight due to her expertise and passion for her work, the heaps of care she poured into solving the case and the clear focus she maintains in nurturing her new practice. It truly appears that Dr Plotnick has achieved all of this while expending no extra effort- the storm sized wave of natural charm easing her travels through existence just kind of pours out of the door of the gallery, sorry, office. All of this is to say she is clearly a very hard worker, she connects with her patients, and the scales of clear and expert intensions accumulates as a very new kind of patient experience. In short she is reinventing the trip to the dentist. Sounds crazy, all true.
Excellent place! Can I give them 10 stars? First as an artist I really enjoy the space its really joyful vibrant with the art and plants.I dont remember the young dentist name that checked up on me but she reminds me of abDr Alexander Duka. I saw him for many years until he left New York and got the best care until he left.This is a safe beautiful place with the best care yet with really new technology!I got the best pain free dental cleaning ever and the most thorough x-rays including stand up and this machine moves around you in a circle.I know this is hard to believe but just over six years ago I was savagedly assaulted at an MDs office in SoHo with not such good art, a really awful place and I was violated my patient rights and my body and those involved lied. I had to get eye surgery after the attack no apologies more lies... left me very scarred , damaged so this was a very amazing place, safe, cheerful place, really decent people w/ integrity very nice, very kind.I believe this may have one of the best dental offerings in New York highly recommend!
Dr. Plotnick is nothing short of amazing, and so, I now see, is her entire team. Dr. P did Invisalign on my middle-aged teeth a few years ago and today, literally 30 hours before I am due to board a plane to Germany, she fixed my aching tooth with a redo of a very old filling. Her front-desk team -- Kris, Melody -- squeezed me in, without my having to beg (though I would have). And Dr. P and assistant Lisa did the filling in 24 minutes to accommodate my schedule. It was as close to painless as these things go, and I left in the most Zen place -- better than a body massage! I kid you not. Make this dentist yours. She is a gift to the specialty of dentistry -- and to life writ large.

I had my 4 wisdom teeth removed two weeks ago. Dr Dadoun did an impeccable job. The procedure took an hour and went smoothly. I walked home. It was an easy, painless, recovery. My biggest mistake was looking up online stories and articles about wisdom teeth removal. I went in with so many doubts but Dr Dadoun proved me and the internet wrong. Cheers to her and the clinic they are wonderful.

This dentist is incompetent with anything other than simple cleaning and hygiene procedures. As soon as she has to do anything complicated she will mess up your mouth and the fun ends. The fake smiles disappear and she becomes standoffish and nervous and her inexperience and ineptitude shows strong. Do yourself a favor and go to an experienced dentist who has been practicing for many years not to this fresh out of Canada dentist. I dont know where all the 5 star reviews for friendliness are from, perhaps her friends?

During my appointment, Liza kindly walked me through the process (x-rays, cleaning, etc.) so I knew what to expect and avoid any surprises. Dr. Plotnick clearly explained my overall dental health, my options on leveling-up my teeth and smile, and ways I can continue to improve my dental well-being.

2022-01-05Ive been coming here for years, and could not recommend Dr. Plotnick and her team more highly. Everyone is friendly, the cleanings are painless, and they were even recently able to get me in within the week for a pseudo-emergency appointment when I was worried about some tooth sensitivity. They have been able to help me adjust my teeth cleaning/care habits over the years such that I havent had a single new cavity since working with them. Its also a gorgeous and calming space

2022-01-13After moving to Brooklyn a year ago, I met Dr. Plotnick and the incredible team at Grand Street Dental for routine cleaning. They caught that an old root canal was done improperly through my X-rays during my initial visit. Standard stuff, you would assume, but after multiple years of slight pain and complaining to my old Dentist, Dr. Plotnick, mentioned the problem before I did during this initial exam. She put together a plan to address the issue, and the pain was eliminated.The next step was Invisalign, something I’ve considered but never felt comfortable pursuing. Dr. Plotnick and the team couldnt have made the decision and process more straightforward. They answered my laundry list of questions directly and in a way that I could understand. They also required check-ins throughout the process, which I appreciated and kept me accountable. To sum it up, after a year of working with Dr. Plotnick and the team, my teeth have never been in such pristine condition. As someone who dreads visits to the dentist, I look forward to seeing everyone in the office. The vibe is fantastic, very clean, organized, and professional.

2022-04-12Dr. Plotnick’s practice is far above and beyond anything you’d expect from a trip to the dentist. The staff is warm, professional, and consistent, and the practice maintains a respectful and transparent approach when it comes to costlier procedures. All of my dental fears have been erased in the 6 years I’ve been going to Dr. P and her expert staff — and they’re so good I still fly back from LA for my appointments. Oh, bonus!! The office decor is gorgeous and they run on time!
