Not much for kids to do during the week. Prices seem a bit steep for the rides but not out of the ordinary for fair rides.A bit disappointed that the jumping area wasnt open for little ones. Very well decorated and tonnes of things to buy for Halloween aficionados. Wouldnt mind checking it out for the 30 attractions on the weekend. The bar seems lile it would be a lot of fun.$6 bud lights seem a bit expensive. We came from Canada and it was pretty cool. Zombie train and few other things look like theyd be fun.*Note to owner* Please open things for the kids during the week. Even just the corn maze and a couple things woupd be fine. Im sure you could do $1-2/per attraction with no admission fee and parents wouldnt mind too much.
Plenty of fun had at the Pumpkin Farm 🎃Pros: amazing & cheap gourds, tons of food, delicious cider, PUMPKIN CANNON, goofy haunted house 👻, beautiful setting.Cons: lax mask enforcement, over-priced pumpkins (especially since there’s an entrance fee), sad animals (the donkey was especially distressed and distressing), broken wheelbarrows that spilled our pumpkin haul. All in all, we had a good time, and got to do all the silly autumn things you’d expect at a pumpkin farm 🌾
Took twins this year, pretty much same as last year, a little social distancing (which is kinda scary). Basically leaving it up to people to distance themselves, but most people dont even follow that in their everyday life. Probably why our area has been above 1% for weeks and weeks now. People getting too comfortable. They had playground open which of course twins wanted to go. I dont know what they were thinking there. Kids are germy anyway, then you throw in the Covid, recipe for disaster. Should have roped it off. Seen no one cleaning most things or wiping down tables and chairs, so youre taking chance that your kids wont touch their face or yours before you can reach the sanitizer. Weather changed out of nowhere & got super rainy and cold, not many places you could dodge it, eventually sun came back but still a bit uncomfortable, so make sure you bring lots of layers, you can always take them off if it is actually warm. Overall thought they let too many people in as the day went on, definitely overpriced for pretty much everything . Only a few free things to do, but you still have to pay to get in. Kids were happy though, so just be prepared to sanitize as best you can where ever you go or touch and Id go at an off time so people arent on top of you with their masks under their noses (this helps nothing, might as well not even wear one). Only pulled kids down for one or two pictures when we were with rest of family and people werent close, but then immediately put back up.
Free parking on a grass lot. Purchased tickets in advance at Wegmans so I didnt have to pay the gate price. Went on a Saturday so the lines were long. Face painting, a hayride, and magic show were included in ticket price among other activities. Pumpkins are sold by the pound. A fun experience in the fall.
The Great Pumpkin Farm is such a fun experience. I go every year. The food is always delicious. The hay ride is not too short and it’s very interesting. Feeding the animals is always fun too. They have the shops you can look around in. There are so many cool things, I don’t leave without something. The best part is the apple cider and the of course, the pumpkins. There are so many to choose from and there all different sizes so you can find the perfect one!
This place was so super neat! Certainly a great fall fix with lots to do and see. We arrived on a weekday and had a blast. It looks like they have a carnival setup for the weekends. We enjoyed the petting zoo, the maze and of course see all the pumpkins and other gords. They have really cool Halloween store and even a mixed drink area for adults, and a bakery! Would certainly visit again the next time we are in the area.
Amazing place. I love that it can be for both kids and adults. Walked through their incredible gift shop. Fairly priced items. Enjoyed a drink at the witches brew. I was disappointed that the food stands werent opened.it clearly states on the website that the rides are not open on the weekdays but said nothing about the food stands. So many pumpkins to choose from. The corn maze was a fun thing to complete. I cant wait to go back!
All the makings of good, clean family fun. Sadly, too many people allowed in at once at a time like this. Shocking how many ignored social distancing quidelines, and how many had their masks under their noses, or under their chins, and some with none at all, despite the state mandate, and clearly posted signs. Will definitely go again when things are better. Prices were fair and staff was very pleasant.
The Great Pumpkin Farms annual Fall Festival is one of many popular WNY Fall traditions. It all started in 1996 when The Great Pumpkin Farm broke the Guinness World Book of Records during its World Pumpkin Weigh-off with the first 1,000 pound pumpkin. The farm continues to break records that go beyond 2,000 pounds! The festival has been growing since and has various events every weekend during the Fall. The Travel Channel has ranked The Great Pumpkin Farm in the top 10 for U.S. pumpkin patches. The Witches Brew Bar and Cafe is a newer addition to the farm and has draft and craft beer, wine, specialty Halloween drinks, soups, and chili. The farm also has a Halloween store, candy store, and bakery.
Wonderful place for people of all ages. Took my one year old and he had a blast playing on the playground, picking out pumpkins, and eating the various fair foods. The witches brew bar also has some delicious drinks for adults. Definitely gonna make a yearly tradition of this place.
An awesome family place to go to there is a corn maze with many rides for children that are live animals. There is a bakery and candies of all sorts for the Halloween and Thanksgiving day holidays. And of course pumpkins of all sizes can be purchased here. Its location in Western New York makes it accessible to most people throughout the area and there is plenty of free parking with handicap accessibility so all are welcome. Happy holidays to all.
This place is MAGIC!! Great place to spend with a friend or Family or all of the above. Enough to spend an entire day there and to feel you got your price of admission worth. We go happily every year and will continue. I dressed up this year with my very good friend as characters from Coraline and we had a blast, just 2 adults enjoying the fall festivities. Highly recommend.
Not much was open because it was a week day, but we knew that before hand so we werent disappointed. The witches brew bar and Cafe is set up so perfectly. The bakery is great, reasonable prices and the pumpkin sugar cookies are the BEST. The little store is nice and of course the pumpkins. A highlight was definitely the animals as well. Great time
It was okay. Wasn’t really worth it this year if you ask me. I went Monday evening around 5:15. Got there & bought my child a bracelet for the rides. little did I know the rides ended at 6pm. Nobody told me, no signs, nothing. Oh but the kids with tickets were still able to ride the rides. I kinda felt like I wasted my money & my daughter was upset. On our way out, we stopped to get a gallon of cider & donuts. Well we waited in line for over a half hour & at the very last minute when we were about to cash out, an employee stated they weren’t selling the gallons anymore when there were quite a few gallons right there in the fridge. Don’t think I’ll be coming back it was disappointing to say the least. Definitely a waste of money.
One of my favorite places to go in the Fall. I went as a child and now we bring my nephews. If you get the presale tickets you save a few dollars. Your ticket gets you a lot for free or for a good discount. There is also great food, drinks, and activities that you can get/do for for a reasonable price. The only thing I will day negative about the farm is that their pumpkins are overpriced. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some Fall fun (just maybe not for pumpkins).
Great family fun. Not sure why everyone is complaining about the cost. The ticket includes a free hay ride, a cow train ride for little kids, a petting zoo, and a magic show. There were also crafts for little kids in a different area. Of course the other things arent free just like any activity.... If you dont want to pay you can go on weekdays for free 🤦♀️
We enjoyed our day out with My 14 month old granddaughter, we didnt want to be around large crowds due to Covid & the fact that my Granddaughter was so young & cant be vaccinated yet. So going during the week was perfect! She Loved walking around & seeing new things, the Big Pumpkins as well a the Gourds, the Halloween Figures & wasnt scared. She Loved the Goats, the Baby Bison, the Alpacas, loved the expressions on her face.I got bit by a Yellow Jacket in the back of my neck & when I mentioned it to the lady in the Bakery, she said she had After Bite Cream to put on it and she did, it helped soothe the sting from the Bee Bite. The goodies from the Bakery were so good. I got a few different kinds of cookies and really enjoyed them & my daughter got a pumpkin cupcake which she said was very good! I recommend this place during the week for the families with small babies and children who dont want to be around crowds during the week! If youre looking for action, this is the place to be on the weekends!
The 3 stars are given only because its a weekday and not all activities are availableWe met our daughters family there for a few hours. Our granddaughters are 3 and 1 yo, so it was a perfect day. FREE parking and entry weekdays only. We did the hay maze, fed the goats, played in the playground area, selected tiny pumpkins, bought candy, baked goods, and a couple Halloween dolls for the littles. Plenty of photo ops.
The other reviews regarding the prices are correct. For a family of 4 with one child under 2 we paid $36 just to get in. Once inside, we discovered that to do the corn maze and gem mining we had to wait in line a long time at a different ticket booth -- and it was an additional $20+! They also advertised dinosaurs in the corn maze until 4 pm, - which is the whole reason we went - however we went through the whole maze starting at 3pm and only saw one dinosaur, right at the beginning. They also ran out of stickers for the kids. There was no point in getting food, pumpkins, or other merchandise after that because the place was SO crowded that it was uncomfortable and we had already spent so much. We have been loyal visitors for 4 years because we enjoy the atmosphere and decor, but I am starting to think I am getting ripped off. I think I will be looking elsewhere next year unless they make big changes. Suggestion: Either have the admission price include the cost of everything or at the very least have all ticket sales be purchased at the point of admission. More of the attractions should also be included in the price of admission - not just discounted! - such as the cow train and corn maze. Also, something needs to be done about the crowds especially around the food vendors.
This was our first visit. It was a neat place and my son and his friend had a great time with the apple cannon and paint ball wagon ride.I wasn’t expecting it to be so pricy so was glad they had an ATM. Was so touched that the owner of the lemonade/potato stand gave my son free laced potatoes because he didn’t have enough $ for 2 lemonades and the potatoes. It was not expected but so appreciated. They were delicious too!
Had pictures but on other phone. Great place for families with children. Place has rcarnival rides and food. Plus hayrides and corn maze. Even a magic show and scary barn with a vortex all the huge skeletons and super steroid pumpkins. Omg it was fun. Went first weekend it was a blast. The only negative is the drive. Which honestly was worth taking to getaway. If weekend or weekday weathers nice go! You wont regret it!!!
Great place but prices are way too high, and sadly we will not return. For a family of 4 it cost just $50 to get in. The bouncy pillow then cost $6 per person. To go in the corn maze costs $8 per person. Again, familyOf 4, that’s $32. Beers about $9.00. The “free” moo train went around a circle 2 times. We used to come here and it was never this pricey. Sadly we won’t be returning.
I spent $40 for admission, 2 corn dogs, and 2 small ice cream coness, the generic mass-produced stuff in the shop is marked up about 50%, and the hayride is a fatal accident waiting to happen. Three of us nearly flipped backward over the edges. As for the pumpkins... way too expensive. Its become more of a big selfie opportunity than fun most familys can afford.
Excellent place to spend the day with family! Theres sooo much to do and see! We went to the Shredd & Ragan pumpkin explosion, and it was awesome! Theres rides, fair food, bakery food, home decor, etc. TONS to do! Very kid friendly :) We had soo much fun, and definitely will return! (Also their homemade apple caramel bread is amaaazing 😋)
Took the family on Saturday, didnt really plan ahead. Read some reviews complaining about prices, it was cheaper than an amusement park though. Tons of stuff to do, enough that we will go back next weekend. Some of the lines get pretty long, and parking is... free. Reccomend planning a pre noon arrival, packing snacks and drinks in vehicle, hand stamp lets you back in if you go out. Pumpkins are 50 cents a pound
This place is a total rip off 1st time going and last wanted to see dinos in corn maze by time u wait in line they r gone. 30 mins for tickets there line separate for rides. 8 bucks for a corn maze. Its insane. When u miss the dinosaurs plus everything out end of day u got 400 bucks in and dident even do half the things there unless u wanted to wait in line an hr!! This was by far the worse pumpkin place Ive been too.. ill choose any other place then this!! Very disappointed
I grew up coming here but it has become a bit of a cash grab over the years. I come for the store, food, and the Fall atmosphere. None of the activities are worth paying extra for since they charge for basically everything now. Good for kids though. Still enjoyed my trip even in a pandemic.
This is more of a review of the July 4th event at the location, rather than a regular day at the Pumpkin Farm. Fireworks were well done, and a long display. Unfortunately wasnt impressed by the rest of the evening. I acknowledge that some of the following is not entirely the fault of the location..Far too crowded (a lot of other July 4th Fireworks were cancelled); Food was overpriced (but kettle popcorn was great). If looking to go next July 4th, make sure it wont be overly packed.
Fun for the family. Weekends are $40 per person (2 and under are free) so we went on a weekday. I think thats outrageous, $40 for two adults and a 3 and 6 year old. Gift shop is pretty cool but expensive. Lots of fun Halloween decorations, might be spooky for young children. Bakery smelled amazing but we did not purchase. Line was long too. Kids enjoyed the hay maze and playground. Pumpkin setup is pretty cool, there are opportunities for pictures. Pumpkins are pricey as well. Overall, its something fun to do on a weekday.
Fair food this weekend (April 24, 25) and next weekend (May 1, 2) small but good food bring cash some places do accept cards but kettle corn doesnt. Had picnic tables to eat at with someone cleaning them almost every time someone got up. FREE parking just not free to eat lol.
Honestly, I was really excited to come and see the place that made me so happy when I was little. The happiest Ive been in a while. I even brought my friend who has never been here before. I got here and my entire attitude changed. For 3 people to get in I paid 24 dollars, for 2 people to walk through a haunted house I paid 6 dollars, and just to walk through the corn maze for 3 people I spent 18 dollars. In total, I spent 48 dollars just to walk through 3 things. Overall, I was disappointed. I felt robbed. I didnt even buy anything cause it was all over priced. This place made me so happy when I was a child, and I remember how cheap and inexpensive everything was. Wed go every week and only spend like 30 bucks to do so many things. Im sorry about the bad review, but I felt like I should be honest.
We recently went the the Great Pumpkin farm with our family of 4. We used to go when the kids were little, but now they are 16 and 18. I was shocked and disappointed that it cost $10 to walk in to only have to pay $9 for a chicken sandwich! I think this a little high considering you pay $40 (4 people) to walk in to only have to spend more money on food or pumpkins. Don’t get me wrong the venue is great and they do a nice job, but when the kids or adults don’t partake in the magic show and just want to grab a drink, food and some pumpkins charming $10 per person to walk in sees like gouging! Maybe they should consider an adult pass or a pass where you just want to walk around and spend $100 on food and drinks.
My kids and I had so much fall/Halloween fun here!! We try and come every year and every year they seem to get even better!! I cant give them enough stars!🤭 so much to do and all geared toward every age child and I love that! I also love that you can park for free and admission is very inexpensive. Not to mention the many coupons and deals you get just with your admission! Cant wait to go back next year!!😉🍁🍂🎃
It felt so festive. Vendors had great variety and the fresh donuts were a hit. Bought a box of a dozen and the kids and family loved them. The zombie hayride was a big hit with the kids and the cornmaze was fun. Covid restrictions were being followed great- They cleaned in between rides.
Great experience for the whole family! Lots of fun and games, Hay rides, corn mazes, farm animals, tasty fair food and homemade goods, plus hundreds of pumpkins. Every staff member treats their customers like theyre family from when you enter the property to the exit gates. How can you go wrong?!
There was very little for the kids to do that was included in the $10 per person entry fee. Almost everything was an additional cost, so basically we paid to get in and pay for everything the kids wanted to do. The only things that are included in the admission price are the Boo Barn, Hay Maze, and the Cow Train. These are all geared towards little kids, we went with older kids and teenagers. I was very disappointed and am upset that I wasted $50 to walk around. I would not recommend this for anyone who doesnt want to spend a fortune. Its not worth it.
Disappointing visit this season. Because of covid, the lines to do anything are super long! Seemed over crowded. Paid $10 for entry to basically walk around. They charge for almost every activity now. It can get very expensive for a family. $5 to $10 per person for a hayride, corn maze etc. Really wanted to go into the bakery but there was a big line and heard they were selling out of most items.
Always a great place and atmosphere. Definitely on the pricy side though. Weekdays are less crowded than the weekends. I believe you have to pay to get in during the weekends, but with Covid-19 currently going on, your tickets are to be purchased online before you go. Last weekend is usually free to get in. Worth a visit!
In previous years, admission included a coupon book for several activities like a hay ride, corn maze and other fun things. In 2020, they charge a $10 admission and nothing is free, $5- $8 per person per for things that used to be included in admission.Plus there were no carnival rides like previous years. If you you have a family of 4 and want to spend $200, then go right ahead, but I thought this was a total ripoff.
Always a fall family favorite, but this year they are doing incredible with enforcing mask wearing and keeping it as safe as possible for all to have fun. They still have some food favorites on the weekends this year (including pumpkin & apple cider donuts and apple cider!). The kids love being able to go here and feel some normalcy in life!
This place is amazing. Lots of rides for the kiddos and good family fun all around. Hayride, pumpkin launcher, corn maze, animals to feed- just a few of the attractions at The great Pumpkin Farm.Advise getting there early as it takes all day to experience everything they have to offer.
Its a very nice place. Great selection of pumpkins and lots of fun activities and attractions for the kids. BUT it is extremely overpriced. You almost literally have to pay for everything. And that is on top of a $7 admission fee for each person! (I guess admission is free on weekdays). I was actually surprised that I didnt have to pay for my kids to play on the slides. If you are bringing a large family, be prepared to fork up a lot of dough. Id bring at at least $150 cash. If you can afford it, good for you, enjoy. But if you are a typical family that has somewhat of a budget to stick to, there are other cheaper options. I can safely say that we wont be coming back unless they make some pricing changes
It was packed. The Erie county fair couldve happened with the amount of crowded people in such a small space. Have to pay outrageous prices for any kind of entertainment or food/drink. Friend paid for a hot cider and it was literally hot apple juice. Not cider. Not to mention if you want a pumpkin, you need to buy at least 3 because the minimum amount of money you have to spend was 10 bucks. Definitely wouldnt recommend.
So much fun! My family and I go every year! My daughter always gets little pumpkins! Then she rides in a wheelbarrow pushed by her daddy! I love that there are a variety of different size pumpkins so you could choose which one is best for you! We also love the other activities like the hayride and the jumbo jumping pillows, my daughter has a blast on them! We always take a while in the gift shop because my daughter and i always love getting something every year! Because we love to remember that year that way! We also love the animals there! My daughter loves bunnies so we take our time in the bunny area and same with the playground! As you can see, no matter what the price, you can have fun at the Great Pumpkin Farm!
I dont remember it being this big. Hay ride was awesome for the little guy, he loved every minute of it. Lots of food options (fair and carnival type food of course, only the best kind) animals, pie eating contest, face painting, corn maze, carnival rides, and of course tons of pumpkins and many photo opportunities for the family photo book. Memories made and cant wait to make more next year
Kinda expensive but worth driving to! We loved the bars, the live music, the pumpkins!!!, hayride and animals. Definitely can kill a whole day here easily and everyone there was so unbelievably nice. Great energy, were making it a tradition to go back every year from now on!!!
I remember going to this place years ago and not spending a small fortune. Everything is WAY over priced now! Unfortunately, my husband and I said that this was the last time we were going to take our family to the Clearance Pumpkin Farm. Extremely disappointed that so many of the attractions were NOT included in the ticket price. We basically paid extra and had to buy multiple tickets for everything and that adds up with a family of four! They dont even offer a family price for the attractions, you literally pay per person, per ticket. I cant say Im exaggerating when I say we walked around almost quite literally with our wallet open.
They have all the pumpkins you could ever want and at a fair price. I was not cool with $8 to come in and then $3-4 for the amusement rides per ride. We skipped them. The man who does the announcements is very kind and seems to love working with the customers. My 3 year old got snapped at for coming to close to some of the visiting animals with a very sharp get out of there- but that was by someone I was told brought in the animals-not one of the staff. The farm animals were adorable.
My son who lives in Florida enjoys visiting us in October. We head right from the airport to the Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence. Our favorite activity is the Zombie Train. Seeing all the animals is great. This year the camel tried to eat my sons sun glasses! So funny. And we took home 2 delicious pies from the bakery. We had a great time.
Lots of fun for the family. Usually the Halloween decorations stay inside (for the most park) but this year there was Halloween stuff everywhere outside, including the pumpkin pyramid. Its sad because we like to take a family picture every year in front of the pyramid. Hopefully they can keep some areas free of Halloween decorations next year for those who have small children.
We have enjoyed the Great Pumpkin farm as a family for the past few years and always had a good experience. This year, it is understandably different and we want to be supportive of businesses during this tough time. But we paid $40 for our family to attend the farm, and their website said the admission included a free hayride, magic show, crafts and entertainment. There we very few animals. No carnival rides, pony rides, pumpkins, etc. We paid another $30 for a small amount food. We got to the front of the line for the hayride, and were told it was $5 a person, so would have been another $20 for us. We left and drove down the street to Akron Acres where we paid $14 a person, but we got the hayride with any size pumpkin from the patch, pony ride, tons of animals, fun activities, etc. And it was far less busy with far better COVID safety protocol in place. We wish we had gone there first and not wasted our money and time. We have also enjoyed Kelkenberg Farm several times. Unfortunately after I called and sent a message to Great Pumpkin Farm, showing them a screen shot of their free hayride included with admission, I got no response. Just know that if you attend Great Pumpkin Farm, you will spend a great chunk of money for almost nothing included, and large crowds regardless of COVID. Take a look around at so many other amazing local farms, and support the ones who do it right!
Do NOT go here in covid. There were so many people and you cant even socially distance or stay 6 feet apart even if you want to. The ONLY precaution taken was most people were wearing masks. But I cant express how many people were here it was completely packed. Plus you pay $10 a person to get in but the only things to do cost you more money, the hay ride you have to pay, the corn maze you have to pay, the only free things were the kiddie haunted house and the kiddie cow ride which the lines were 30+ minutes for a 2 min attraction. Im not paying $10 a person again so I can have the honor of buying their pumpkins?? If you care about getting covid at all do not go because they dont limit the amount of people at all.
It’s a nice place but expensive. They say they include “free” activities in the price of admission but not all are of interest or the lines are so long its not worth it. If the admission price was lower on days that everything was running it would be easy to take my family there. Spending $40-60 to walk in a place to find a pumpkin and maybe something to eat is just too much.
Lots of fun things to do for kids of all ages - rides, face painting, petting zoo, balloon animals, and of course pumpkins of all sizes. There is plenty of food, live music, and a decent size gift shop. The best part for me was the affordability - we got our tickets discounted at Wegmans for $6.50 instead of $8 at the farm. And that $6.50 got us admission plus a free hay ride, face painting, cow train ride, magician show and discounts for other events.
Wanted to get a pumpkin and leave. Wasnt allowed in unless I paid a $30 entrance fee for myself and 2 kids. When I asked what was included, the person at the gate had no answer.$8 still a waste of money. Perhaps you should retrain the person at the entrance l0/13 at 1:10 pm. $25 of attractions? Yeah, ok.
It was fun but definitely a money grab event so come prepared with ATM card or cash in hand. Would recommend going on a warmer and dryer day as you are walking outside around the farm in a carnival atmosphere. My son had fun and thats the only reason Id likely go back.
First time going here. Only wanted to buy pumpkins but ended up going to a fall festival. It was perfect for a day date. There was hayrides, a magic show, a balloon artist, rides, plenty of food options and plenty of places to get a drink(alcoholic and non alcoholic) spent 4 hours here and enjoyed every minute of it. The parking was free as well.
He was a very nice lots of stuff for the kids to do I do think the admissions bit steep considering you have to buy tickets for just about anything thats not for a small child but again its the equivalent to a Fall Fair so you can expect the high prices and big crowds. A truly unique setting in a wonderful family time
The Great Pumpkin Farm is truly great but it does have its short comings. The pumpkins can be expensive as well as the Fall/Halloween country store. That doesnt mean the store isnt incredible because it is. The bakery is a must. The playground and hay maze keep kids plenty busy.Currently during covid the petting zoo is visual and not a true petting zoo but thats due to state guidelines.
Visited a few weeks before Halloween. There is a lot to do.Rides and attractions ( that are crazy overpriced, $3+ per person in many cases)Big food selection ( average quality and price)Some farm animals that can be interacted with.Huge selection of pumpkins .Decent place to visit but nothing truly special.
Christmas lights are very basic. This is overpriced at 10 dollars a person. Not even worth 3 dollars. Keep your money and drive around a neighborhood and I guarantee you will see better Christmas light displays. Train ride was also a huge disappointment at an additional 5 bucks per person. My 2 and 5 year old were not entertained at all.
My daughter loved all the animals and the play ground. However shortly after we arrived there all the rides and food concessions started closing down. That had me really upset. I understand it was like 90 degrees and the first opening weekend but we paid admission to get in. Thankfully i spoke with the manager and she comped us tickets for another time. So all in all it was a good experience. Weve been going for years. We like it here.
I was really excited to hear about this. But I dont feel like paying an admission so that I can shop. After about 2 weeks I received correspondence from the owner. He took the time to explain to me that during the week there is no admission and that there are things to do such as the bakery, the gift shop, the pumpkins and the petting zoo. So when I come to visit Buffalo this Fall, I will definitely visit The Great Pumpkin Farm. I appreciate that the owner took the time to clarify their admission policies for the weekend when more family oriented activities occur.
We went on the Thursday after opening day and there wasnt the usual amount of things to see and do, but its still early in the season and we have to bare in mind that theres COVID-19 restrictions the pumpkin farm has to follow. Theres already a large selection of pumpkins and funky gourds, giant skeletons looming over the products and tasty treats to indulge in. We fully plan to go back on a weekend so as not to miss out on anything.
Family always has a blast. We did the zombie train this year. My 8 year old son loved it, only gripe is they should of given us a few more paintballs, my trigger happy son ran out half way through. When you are there you have to get the cider and a dozen of the Apple doughnuts! We will be going back again this season for sure
We had a great time here. Face paintings and rides. However, my son picked out a regular orange pimpkin (priced based on weight). It ended up being a $80 pumpkin. The pumpkin he chose rang in around 40lbs and listed for $2/lb. Prices are high here. Its a good family time but expect to pay.
Came here today at 3pm (early enough to still do things) to be told we couldn’t go on the zombie train and that the zombies at the corn maze left at 4pm. We paid $30 to walk around and for my kid to play on the playground. Very disappointed seeing as how it was our first time here.
Coming here is a tradition, every year it just doesnt feel like fall unless weve come here. It has a small time fair vibe, rides and hayrides, and a ridiculous haunted house, etc etc. The only problem is that it is amazingly spendy. It costs a bunch to get in, then of course rides arent cheap, and all the attractions are expensive, as well as the food. You get coupons with every ticket, but we easily spend over 100 bucks for a family of four to have a moderate time. Handicapped accessibility: Not that great. The good: There is ample parking. They have handicapped bathroom stalls. The bad: pinpoint accuracy needed for a wheelchair to even access the ladies bathroom, as its in an entrance with a couple of very tight right angles. Theres another one, but its all the way across the farm. Gravel and grass everyplace means wheelchairs will need some oomph in order to travel... but thats something that cant really be helped.
Such a fun place. How do you make Halloween fun for 30 days??? Come here, they have events going on all month long and they have pumpkins for days. You can eat them, climb them, throw them, to be them, shoot them out of a cannon and more. So much fun over and over again.
EVERY Single thing cost money except a Cow ride and 3 slides. It was ridiculous. Dont go unless you plan on spending a minimum of $60-80. For 3 people to get in I believe it was $17. Every ride was 3-4 tickets a person ($1 a ticket) . The zombie paintball train was another $20 something for 4 people. Overall, the kids had fun but not their favorite place.
We spent over $150 in under 2 hours (family of 4) as very few items are included with the general admission and, of course, the kids want to do everything and typically get to at other harvest barns. The lines for the included items (face painting, characters drawings, etc) were at least an hour wait. The amusement park was fun but certainly overpriced. The boo barn was $12 additional and we walked through in less than 2 minutes- the woman assured us our 3 yr old daughter would like it, but its full of zombies, creepy things. We rushed her through- this is only for ages 6-10 maybe, better for boys than girls. With a positive attitude and a steady stream of cash our kids did have fun between the frustration of long waits. The amusement rides were fun for ages 3-10ish but for $60 for a family of four, it only lasted about an hour before we rode everything and the kids were over it...you can go to an amusement park for a small amount more but experiance a full day of fun...My lasting impression is that the owners care way more about profit than the experience of their guests or they would increase staff in key places greatly. (They have plenty to maximize parking space, but only 2-3 for the included activities). There should be one set price, not an additional fee for everything thats actually fun for the kids.We do not plan on returning.
I have been bringing my family here for the past several years, and this was the first year that we regretted going. On top of the steep entrance fee, everything inside was way overpriced. Even the pumpkin selection was poor. Either the pumpkins were tiny or 50 lbs. What used to be fun for my kids had turned into a big money grab. I will definitely be going somewhere else in the coming years.
Wow expensive. $10 per person, and you don’t get much for how much it costs. And I found pumpkins much cheaper at Wegmans. Not very stroller friendly, and not impressive considering it cost me $40 just to get in. Won’t be back.Update- so I guess I got scammed. There’s four of me, I hand the girl $40 for admission and I did not get any change back. that’s why I thought admission was $10 per person.
My family and I had a great time. Be prepared with cash on hand and bring a decent amount if you plan on staying more an hour! We purchased our gate tickets at a discounted rate at Wegmans because we went on a weekend. The lines were long but the weather was fair. The magic show was a must see and the doughnuts were delicious. If you love fall like my family and I do go experience this place!
The vendors at the gate wouldn’t let me walk 2 feet without selling things to me, car insurance and Disney tickets. I kept saying no thanks, I spent 10 dollars just to get in, I don’t want to be bum rushed to buy car insurance or anything for that matter before I can even start to enjoy my time. Take out sales booths, or at least move them to a place that people aren’t targeted when they first walk in.
Not just another pumpkin stand. The creativity and fun clearly expressed by the owners of this innovative pumpkin patch will boggle your mind and draw you in. We were just driving down the road and saw pumpkins, drove in, and were completely blown away! It ended up becoming an hour-and-a-half visit. What a wonderful time! This is American entrepreneurship at its best. This is how one family farm has managed to thrive. Go enjoy the fun, have something to eat, and more. There are inside and outside activities for adults and kids of all ages.
I went here a few weekends ago. I 1st went in the magic show which was ok for adults and better for kids. The magician was very fun though. The one downside of the show is that if you didnt have a seat on the bleachers then you were sitting on the floor, which is exactly where I ended up. For this reason I just wanted the show to be over as soon as possible bc that hard floor was killing my legs abs back. Next we fed the animals which too was a bit comical. One of the goats didnt want to let go of the food cup so there was a bit of a tug-a-war. We waited in line for the hayride which year after year disappoints me. I know Im saying this from an adult perspective but even some of the kids were bored. I think a fee more thrills and chills would make this cool. There are many great photo oops at the pumpkin farm and lots of pimp kind to choose from of course. My only regret is not getting a blooming onion (insert sad face). Overall, this really is a place for kids so my adult opinion doesnt count!
Very rude staff and definitely not worth it for the money! I went this morning and took my nephew as I had heard that it was free on the weekdays. Knowing that it was Columbus day and that it was a holiday I decided to check the website to make sure that Columbus day was free as well. No where on the website did it state that they were charging admission on Columbus Day. I attached photos - on both the Ticket page and the Weekdays page both stated that Weekdays are Free and the only mention of Columbus day was saying that Except for Columbus Day, all other attractions are only open on the weekends. This to me is talking about attractions only, not admission. To make matters worse two very rude staff members rolled their eyes at me and didnt want to hear me out when I said that nothing was stated on their website, as I checked it thoroughly the night before. Instead of trying to make it right and showing me where it stated that admission was charged on Columbus Day, they rolled their eyes at me and asked are you going to pay or what?. I decided to go for it anyway seeing as that I was taking my nephew and he was looking forward to it.The final straw for me was that even after an $8.00 admission charge they still nickel and dime you for everything else. So just know that you will fork over a lot of money for a mediocre pumpkin festival.
LOTS of fun activities and fun things for kids to do! ...all very expressive. Everything is at separate cost and most are more overpriced than that of an amusement park.It is by no means a well oiled machine there; it is chaotic, somewhat difficult to navigate, difficult to plan your day, and extremely difficult to find an employee anywhere that has any idea of whats going on .If you have young children its a good time, just be prepared.
Just left the great pumpkin farm extremely disappointing. Over priced and NOT Worth the $. Couldnt believe you had to pay to get in on top of pay for pretty much everything and adults and children are the same price! Ridiculous! Plus the woman working the entrance was extremely rude!! If your going to be asking for money at least have someone who wants to work there and isnt rude!!! If it wasnt for my two young children with us we would of left before even walking in due to your employee!! We will not be going back and will tell anyone who asks not to go! So many other places to take the kids that are worth the $$. Plus other places do not have rude employees!! Dont go here go to one of the actual farms in the area!!
After paying for the admission there are plenty more items you get to pay for should you choose to do them. Rather expensive for a family of three. In addition, most of the workers, whether it was at the rides or the concession stands were more interested in their phones than customers.
$7 per person over 2 years old to get in the door. Plus additional fees for other activities. $5 per person for the corn maze. $5 per kid to go on the bounce pillows. Ride tickets are also an additional cost. The hay ride is included with the cost of admission. All the food and drinks are typical poor quality, over priced fair food (fries, lemonade, fried dough). Pumpkins are priced $0.45 per pound. That can really add up for larger pumpkins. I would say the value was lacking for the total price paid for day.
I took my kids there for the Halloween pumpkin festival. My kids loved it, that is the only reason I gave it 2 stars. It was so so overpriced, just to walk in was $7 per person. Wristbands for rides $18, food $$$$$ and Had to pay for each extra activity, ride, bounce house or haunted house. The only thing they didnt rob you on was there pumpkins, $0.45/lb.Greedy
Decided to visit for the first time last year, was beyond disappointed. Drove for over an hour to get there and the second I pulled in to look for a parking spot I got yelled at by an employee to get my car out of the way. Was also charged extra because we went on Columbus Day, even though the website did not say it would be extra (I checked). The website also said the farm opened at 10am, however nothing was even remotely close to being set up when we arrived at 11:30. Not only did it cost a ridiculous amount to get in, but they also charged us to do any of the activities (not that they were set up or anything). We ended up only going on the hayride and getting some cider and donuts because we didn’t feel like spending a fortune. Will be enjoying fall festivities elsewhere this year for sure.
With customer service ratings like this one available to the public; we where shocked that the employee at the gate and her boss would still treat our family so poorly :(We came last year with a very large group but after todays experience it certainly will be our last trip here... there are plenty of other and better entertainment spots with pumpkins in the nearby lockport Apple farms.
If youre in town or just visiting, check out The Great Pumpkin Farm. We had such a good time navigating our way through the Corn Maze, we enjoyed the hayride and Boo Barn. Dont miss the gift shop and try your hand at I Got It while sipping on ice cold fresh apple cider. It was a great day and a great time!!!
This attraction was better in past years before the increase in admission fee (in my opinion, it is no longer a good entertainment value.) Furthermore, they have decreased the gift shop floor space and substituted a triple-overpriced snack bar (the food is not even made to order--you get it yourself from the cooler) with alcoholic beverage choices...in a family attraction? Why? And is that even wise?
As we approached the booth I nicely asked the woman working if i was able to use the coupons that my mom gave me. She responded with you have no stamp or wrist band. I then said i know i just got here and was only asking if i could use the coupons. She finally said yes and asked for our money.. as i was talking to my boyfriend about the 16$ to get in she interrupts our conversation and says if you dont like it you can go across the street, its getting late anyways.EXACT WORDS. I was so shocked. I then said it seems like your having a bad day, this is no way to talk to customers, we will go across the street. As i go to pick up my coupons off the counter, she rips them out of my hand and slams the window and screams those are my coupons get the F out of here. There were 3 children in line behind us. Not only did i leave without the coupons i came with but I am still in shock over this. I called to speak to a manager or owner and was not called back. From the look of all their responses to these comments, its very clear how unprofessional they are. After speaking to numerous people yesterday about this, they have all said they have encountered issues here and wont be back. Its only a matter of time until the way they treat people starts to effect their business. Very sad. There are many local farms that are more than happy to have our business. Stay away from this place!!!
Went for Santas Christmas land didnt even spend and hour. The first display u come upon has flood lights shining so brightly down on u that you can not see the rhythm movements light to the music. Then the cardboard cut outs for Disney movies arnt displayed they are leaning on the shed fixtures on the property. Heading to the bakery gift shop u see the best display of the night singing Christmas trees. Go into the shop and its so cramped because of the Santa line we couldnt enjoy the ambiance of magic reindeer food making but the bakery staff was great and the crafts were cute. Head back outside to the light show completely geared towards 5 y/o frozen themed songs or train ride for another $5 per person. And that ends the night... Really what did I pay entry for ??
Nothing really to do on weekdays except for walk around. It is kind of creepy but it fits because obviously its for Halloween. If you go on the weekends however, there is alot more to do and alot more people there. Admission is free but rides and attractions are all costly. Fun place to take kids.

2021-10-12Great place to spend a fun day around WNY during Fall season. It was my first time going to a pumpkin farm and this place was great and tons of pumpkin. We went there for the holiday weekend and it was quite busy. There were a lot of shows and attractions going on. Started by visiting the pumpkin patch which was amazing and decorative then went to visit the corn maze which we had to find clues inside the maze to win a sticker. The maze was huge and fun to walk around beside being scared a couple of time by zombies and clowns inside the maze. After the maze we got foods from vendors which were tasty and filling. At the end we did the free hayride around the farm.Overall, this was a great first experience on a pumpkin farm. Will definitely come back next year to check out the corn maze design.

2021-10-20We went during the week because of my schedule, and it’s completely different from the weekend. It was very boring, I really wish we could’ve enjoyed everything including rides and the haunted house. Only issue is that there isn’t much to do besides buy drinks and snacks on the weekdays.

2020-09-23We had a great afternoon. It was about $40 for my daughter and I to enjoy a very nice afternoon and still take home about 5 pumpkins of various sizes. She had A-blast on the hayride and our friends thought that though haunted house was really cool . The pumpkin pyramid is really nice to take festive pictures in front of.

2020-10-10What more could you want ‽ Go during the week and theres no entrance fee. Kids loved the playground, hay maze, animals, and spooky skeletons all over the place.I liked that we bought a bunch of pumpkins and it cost me less than $30.My wife looked that they had a delicious bakery with lots of goodies to bring home.
