Nice park! Wish the map was in any way helpful in finding the trails. Or that the trails were marked in some way so you could find them from the road or parking lot. I found the canal path thanks to zooming in on Google maps and it was lovely once I figured out how to get to it...
I rented the rotary lodge for my daughter babyshower and Im very pleased to say that the lodge was spacious it was clean also the kitchen was big and clean the 2 bathroom were also very clean i would defenetly rent this place again.
I attended a baby shower at one of the cabins. It was beautiful but not heated very well.
Wonderful park. Lots of trails, dog park, nice facilities! As of 3/7/22, still an amazing park! If youre walking a dog in spring or fall, bring towels! Gets kinda swampy! Oh, yeah... boots are definitely a good idea!
Greece Canal Park was host to the First official Dog Park in the Monroe County System. When it was first opened, it was well received and had several amenities, especially liked were the huge logs within the Large Dog section that the dogs loved to climb and jump over.We all looked forward to Improvements that were promised and several were made. A pavilion was built for shade (covering both the large & small dog sections), a dog water fountain was installed (both sides). A port-a-potty was also provided for the convenience of the dog owners. And trees were planted on the outer perimeter of the fence, providing some shade for the dogs (which had been requested ... anticipating they would be placed inside the fencing thus providing some shelter for the dogs from the summer sun) However while the overall park is in great shape and well maintained, and new benches have been placed in the dog park, the dog park has gone downhill as far as dog amenities. Mainly, there are no logs for the dogs to climb and play on (large dog side), there are ruts in the ground from water runoff, due to poor drainage, and the port-a-potty has been removed now for some time. With many downed Treeswithin the Park, Im sure they could locate suitable logs for the dog park. We dog owners are still hoping these amenities will return.
My daughter loves the playground. She never wants to leave. We had her birthday there. Always fun.
Huge park. Two playgrounds. One shaded (smaller one), one sunny.Walking trails are quick and good for young kids. Primary grades. Some broken glass and litter, but not horrible.Tennis courts are in good shape.Lodges look nice too!

Great place for a long quiet walk
If your looking for a place to take the kids to play or go for a nice walk youve found the right place! They have a playground for kids and some picnic areas, a dog park, and 2 lodges for parties and what not. Access to the canal trail is easy for bikers, hikers and fisherman alike! We come here often for a stroll and always enjoy it!
Nice relaxing place to fish, kayak, bike ride or even walking / running.
My daughter really enjoys playing at the park, I like running through here and its nice that it connects to the canal for longer runs. I really wish the restrooms were more closely accessible from the playground and not locked so frequently. I never know whether Ill be able to get in to use them.
Great park with something for everyone! One of the better playgrounds that Ive seen. A beautiful lodge. Great walking paths, especially along the Erie Canal. The dog park is nice. Tennis courts, ball fields and soccer nets for the active folks. And overall beautiful scenery for nature lovers or photographers. Great place to visit!

Great place to workout, walk, run or just picnic. Has a dog park too. Spacious and well maintained. Canal side too...if you want to go for a long bike ride or jog...or even put a kayak or canoe in the water. Kudos to the Town of Greece for this beauty.
Great park with so much to do. Its free to get in, so thats a huge plus. Everyone was out with their dogs, and I was as well. I walked my puppy along the canal. You can fish, walk, relax in the shade and read a book. Take your dog to the dog park they have there. The park is huge, and Ive only been here twice, so Im not sure what else they have since I havent seen the whole park.
Thomas Grasso shelter is beautiful. Drove around and the Rotary shelter is even better. My next big event will most likely be here!
Lovely weather and a good day overall. Minus stars for confusing trail markers (dont reflect the website maps) and several areas of broken glass on the trail. Be careful if walking dogs on the blue/yellow trails.
Awesome park and pretty easy to get to. There’s several hiking paths and of course the canal, lodges and a pretty nice playground. Leashes aren’t required so beware of loose dogs :)
Nice trails all year round. They can get a bit swampy but with boots and the right attitude its fun in all conditions.Lots of well behaved dogs getting walked on these trails. Fenced in dog park nearby with large and small dog areas.
Very nice calm trail to walk. Feel free to ride a bike here or walk your dog here! If you are lucky, you might see some interesting wildlife like snakes, baby birds and turtles. Ive seen people fish along the trail. Its nice to go on a boat ride on the canal as well.
Awesome nice place. Good people. People that FISH there though fish it dry and kill fish for no reason till its difficult to catch anything. If ur not gonna eat it THROUGH IT BACK IN
Great park, so many options. Dog park, shelter and lodge rentals. Great for walks and just spending time outdoors. Playground and soccer fields for the kids and so many trails. Not all kept in best condition, but good for all year use!
Beautiful space to enjoy nature. I always like parks by water. Big open fields to run around and play. Great bike trail. Fun to ride along the canal.
Really nice place to walk or bike ride. Had a couple good rides along the canal and some mountain biking in the trails. Though the mountain bike trails arent all on the map and some seem to be no longer maintained.
I rated three stars because of the lack of imagination here compared to the other parks like look up which is amazing! Not a lot of people clean up after their dogs and it smells like pee. But overall its okay I usually bring my dogs to this one because its so close to my house. I hope the park crew eventually makes it more fun looking and cleaner
Love this place. Been going here since i was a kid, it keeps getting better! Newer updated playground with ramp, nice bathroom facilities, tennis courts, beautiful place to spend time outdoors or rent the cabin for parties.
We love this park!! There is something for everyone. Picnic areas with tables and barbeques, party cabins to rent, fields, ponds, you can walk the many trails or walk along the erie canal. There is a fenced dog park, but you must register your dog showing proof of utd shots and a small fee. But all leashed dogs are welcome anywhere in the park. My boy loves it here! There is even a playground for the kids!! This is a carry in carry out park. Sorry no garbage cans.
Its a nice park, but I went there for the dog park not knowing that there is a yearly fee that is not prorated. So in October I would have to pay $25 and then again in December. And a town and or county registration fee on top!!! Not worth it!!
Spacious well kept park. Has several buildings that can be reserved for events. Also has a large playground and dog park. Access to the canal is a bit of a walk if you plan on going for a kayak or canoe trip from here. Permanent bathroom facilites available.
Nice big park & the lodge was really nice.
I go there often with my dog to walk the trails. We tried the deer run trail today. It was okay, but could have been much better. The paths are not well marked at all so its hard to tell if youre going the right way. Then of course I stepped in what I assume was dog poop in the middle of the trail... I was not very happy.
We love this park! Its always nice and clean and anytime we run into other people they are always friendly. Its in a nice area. My daughter says its her favorite park
Great quiet park for whenever u need to get into a little bit of nature, its also accessible to the canal path. There are stairs to the canal path. I think theres a handicap accessible ramp but, not 100%
Nice park with 2 playgrounds. Has hiking trails, pavilions, and access to the canal path. Only 4 stars because the hiking trails are in desperate need of having weeds and bushes trimmed.

The family Christmas party has been here the past few years at one of the large event cabins. Very clean building, grounds and bathrooms. Plenty of tables and chairs and very private location. Nothing negative to say about this location. Happy.
This park pretty much has it all, theres: a dog park, buildings and pavilions to rent, soccer field, playground, hiking trails, etc... The hiking trails are way under maintained and are particularly swampy in parts but otherwise I rather enjoy it there.
Great tent camping with awesome views. Right on the bike trail, so its super accessible and easy to head out for a short ride. We camped as a stop while biking from Albany to Buffalo and it was super convenient

Your able to tell it’s a county park the second you pull in.the grounds are ALWAYS spotless.it’s a hidden gem in Greece.
Went there with little cousin and she had a fun time on the play ground and then we took a walk by the canal and it’s peaceful and beautiful. Clean and safe park.

This is a beautiful and clean park. I went to a graduation party at Millenium Lodge. The area the lodge is in is large with plenty of green space. There is a playground nearby as well.

The park is beautiful. The trails need up grading of their markers. We lost the trail we where on and got twisted around inside of the woods.

Attended an all black birthday party here its kinda hard to find in the dark can be creepy if driving alone but nice venue.
Beautiful scenery wildlife and for walks but horrible with the bugs. Use bug spray before walking at night or you will get bitten up.
This park has a few trails to walk around on and a few lodges with 2 play grounds. The area is well kept and fun to go to, even to fly a kite

2022-06-20There are a lot of trails in this park. Great for kids and dog friendly. Relatively flat walking. Bring bug repellent.

2022-05-22The facility was nice, clean, and pretty modern! Bathrooms were nice, though the hand dryer seemed under powered slightly. Kitchen was also very nice with lots of counter space. It did seem one of the drawers in the fridge did not want to stay closed by itself, but overall it was very nice. I especially liked the deck and the view!

2021-08-31We had a terrible experience dealing with Saturday 8/21/21 lodge park employees. I thought everything was well until the “manager” called my phone stating “come back up to the park now or I WILL CANCEL your reservation “ after meeting another employee to open the door. Long story shorty if you’re BLACK do NOT use this facility they will go from feeling “threatened” by two young BLACK WOMEN to belittling you as humans. I was literally crying because when we got out the car he did not seem as if wanted to hear us explain our perception of the conversation with the previous employee, whom also was locking the door as me and my friend explain to these unprofessional people. I stayed for the time frame I rented because it was for my 10year class reunion had it would’ve been any other circumstance I would have allowed them to cancel it and refund me $500 for a location with no AC. Before I posted this I contacted the park on their follow up email they sent out. If we keep giving our money to places like this things will never change.

2022-02-15The dog park was the place to be today! Lots of dogs lots of friendly people and beautiful weather.Contact Monroe County Parks department to register your dog!its only $24 for a whole year and there are four or five different parts you can go to in Monroe County, you just need their license and rabies certificates and youre all set!Parks department, Google it!🙂

2021-05-18Went here to fish with my son in the evening before the sun went down. Bugs were bad near the pond but that’s understandable. Sheriff drove through and waved to my son. All in all a beautiful place to take a walk.

2018-01-27It was beautiful! I wish I came during the better months so that it wouldnt be an obstacle course. But it was fun and pretty quick if a walk if you take the blue tail. Be warned if you do take the blue trail, at one point it says with the red tail. There are no signs, but make sure you dont go right. Youll know what I mean.

2021-07-26Great park, very clean. Theres a nice playground for the littles. There were soccer goals set up also, that was nice for the older kids. The building itself is nicely maintained. It did get quite warm inside, however.. in addition to the ceiling fans additional fans were brought in and setup.. not really great airflow. But all in all, fantastic place to have a picnic.

2020-09-29Gorgeous walkway along the canal. Can be buggy depending on time of day and year but a nice spot to go running or biking. Dog park nearby!
