A rollicking large Community Garden, a NY C Parks Department division, with a koi pond! Brilliant. Surrounded by buildings, perhaps a bit too shaded, nonetheless serene, a gem. Far East side on a dead end street. (Hours not checked.)

There is a fish pound and a kids corner perfect for a family outing. they have some program on the weekends. we made tie dye shirts there one time. that was lots of fun for my kids. it is a beautiful place for a change in the city. but do get bug repellant!

Very beautiful in there you could go to the meeting for membership to do gardening and they help getting and sailing vegetables and fruits from the farm like farmers market

Grew up going to this garden. Not the same management but the memories are still there!
