Our Foundation just held our second event at the Greentree Country Club. It was a real pleasure to work with their staff, especially the Banquet Manager, Bradford, who remained calm through all the inevitable pressures of hosting a gala. Thank you, Greentree and Bradford. We highlyrecommend Greentree for your next event.
When we started our wedding venue search we had difficulty finding a venue that wasn’t a restaurant and would allow us to have only 50 guests due to our COVID concerns. We got lucky to stumble upon Greentree! Since we were getting married in the winter it was important to have a venue with beautiful photo opportunities inside and Greentree has that and more. Working with Kristina was amazing from start to finish. She was always quick to respond, genuinely had our best interests at heart, and did everything possible to make our day special. Currently living out of state we thought it would be hard to schedule a viewing but Kristina assured us it was no problem. Letting our parents go in and record every room and letting us drop in whenever we were in NY. The transition from Kristina to Bradford the maître de was incredibly smooth. He throughly reviewed our day of plans, offering input and asking extensive questions to ensure his team had all the information they need to make our day perfect. Throughout the night Bradford’s team moved seamlessly and we couldn’t have asked for any more. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was and how the food was! If you want a smooth planning experience with a beautiful venue look no further.
We had our wedding here this past Friday and we were SO happy with the Greentree staff. We worked with Larry and then Bradford leading up to the wedding. The day of, we had Gonzalo as our maitre d, who blew it out of the park with his organization and keeping everything running smoothly. It felt so great to be able to just enjoy the party and not have to worry about anything because it was being taken care of. They provided me a bridal assistant, Wendy who was super attentive and helpful. The food was delicious and plentiful!! From the cocktail hour to the dessert, we really had so much to choose from and it was all delicious! I highly recommend holding your wedding or other large event here.
Had a wedding done here on Nov.7th 2021 ( and have attended other weddings here for other people before my own ) and each time, it has gone pretty smooth. From the beginning, dealing with Deborah to Larry then finally with Bradford (Banquet Manager) and Dede ( Bridal Attendant )... everything was on point, always in touch with a call or e-mail when I needed to know something, all the way through to the end of the wedding. The Bridal attendant was not only by my brides side but also running around attending to other things.Bradford made it clear numerous times, anything that I needed, to let him know. Anything I did need or ask about, he addressed immediately. They went above and beyond my expectations, and anything that was a bit off, was met with something better.I truly appreciate the work and effort they all put into the wedding. I did not hear a single complaint from anyone about anything, from the food to the service, everything went smoothly.Since I am the groom who is typing this, I can speak mostly for Bradford at the wedding as he was the one for me, running around, making sure everything was in order, any question I had was answered, any minor issue I had was dealt with and done with.Just a great crowd of people to deal with.
We had our wedding here at Greentree in October and we were so happy we chose this venue! Working with Kristina and Bradford made the wedding planning process such a breeze. The day of, Bradford made sure everything ran smoothly and the reception turned out perfect. Definitely recommend this venue to everyone!!
We had our wedding at Greentree Country Club this past summer. My husband and I were very happy with the service! From Bradford, who was the best maître d, to the bridal attendants who helped me all day (with various tasks like holding my dress and getting me coffee), to the other support staff, everything was flawless on the day of. I am especially grateful with how understanding Greentree Country Club management was with our changing guest counts, as things were changing weekly with Covid. Finally, the venue is beautiful with the landscape and beach. I would especially like to thank Bradford, who on behalf of Greentree really cared about the details of our wedding, and never made us feel like we were dealing with a vendor just trying to get our money.
Greentree is hands-down the best venue to capture an elegant ceremony and take amazing pictures. Im still in absolute awe by the pictures and the magnificent scenery! We got married at Greentree this past summer, overall a good experience. However, there is room for improvement in their service and drinks (the drink feedback came from some of our guests who opted to just drink beer after their first cocktail). I also understand August was a busy season for all venues. Hence why we mightve not experienced their best catering service. If I could give a five start to an employee... would be to Magda! Thank you for all the help and being so understanding. Unfortunately our heart-glass from the ceremony was lost and we never recovered it. On the bright side, our sand ceremony was perfectly and beautifully captured by our videographer and photographer.Again, we overall had a great time. Greentree will forever be special to us! Thank you!
I had my wedding here in June and cannot express how perfect it was! The location is beautiful! You have access to a private beach, two different pergolas and of course the inside which is pristine and just so gorgeous. We had approx 250 guests. I had to post pone the wedding from 2020 due to covid, Kristina was very accommodating and understanding of our situation, kept us in the loop always with guidelines, testing, etc. Our day of the event coordinator, Bradford, definitely the best person to work with, and to have apart of your big day. I had a lot of requests, one of them was having a double decker tour bus be apart of my wedding in the morning and Bradford showed up!! Even all my guests were raving about him, how accommodating he was. Indian weddings that I’ve been to are never on time, but mine was and ahead of time! I highly recommend Greentree country club for any event.
Beautiful! My sister recently got married there. It was a magical time. But just a heads up, be sure to place ur stuff in a secure place because you may not know where it might disappeared. Some of my friends lost some of their items like an expensive sunglasses when the staff had to move it for the space. Thats why I give it a 4 star.
This review is long overdue since I got married May 2019 but I’m so glad we had our wedding reception here! The team here especially Kristina and Bradford did an amazing job making our day perfect! Everyone still talks about how our wedding was the best wedding they’ve ever been to! The venue itself was gorgeous especially since it was great weather and we were able to have our cocktail hour outside by the water. Unfortunately our staging vendor was a no show that day, Divine Stylz - STAY AWAY!!! But thank God for Bradford and his team they quickly put together a beautiful stage for us and no one could even tell! Thanks Greentree for help making our wedding day perfect!!
I attended a weeding here last Sunday and I was very disappointed with the service and food quality. Meat was uncooked (lamb and pork) and even fish was smelly, according to other guests I heard from. The service was poor, I had to keep asking for one extra plate as there were none around. Not sure why they could not leave up to expectations, the price they charge is not cheap.
This summer we had our wedding at the Greentree country club we did receive some items we went there with during the reception I was given a card as a gift I strongly believe someone from there took it we’re very hurt behind this watching a video that clearly shows their workers going back n forth picking up stuff off the table I can’t understand how I put something down and someone took it after my wedding the next day I called they were acting as if I was bothering them. They did nothing about it and we are very upset I can’t believe it still boy does it hurt it was unfair to us. And that made our experience at the greentree country club unpleasant
What an amazing venue!!! Everything was so perfect. It is located right by the water, with amazing view. The building look stunning with all the lights in the ceiling, food at cocktail hours and dinner was delicious, great open bar, awesome service. I would definitely wish to have a wedding here in the future.
Kristina and and the entire Green Tree staff were amazing. Their service was on point, I had my wedding in December 2019, with a crowd of 500 people and they did a fantastic job catering to all of our needs. Kristina is the best manager hands down. I would recommend this place to everyone. They made our wedding magical.
We had our wedding back in June- this place has exceptional service. Our event manager, Anthony, made everything so easy from start to finish. They were attentive to all our needs and fulfilled every wish during our big day. Our Major D, John, was most helpful throughout the entire wedding. 5 start for the service, food, atmosphere and waitstaff. So happy we made this choice!
We had our wedding here in 2015. The staff was great from start to finish. Everyone was friendly and made our day amazing. The managers/ coordinators all went above and beyond. The space is great. They dont have old and outdated carpeting like other places on the street. The venue is bright and so much natural lighting. Its clean and bright and sure to make your special day truly amazing. I honestly have no cons to the greentree.
Beautiful venue. Bartenders great. Valet parking great. Our waitress was not attentive enough, and downright apathetic. She served the wrong meals, and she cleared tables before guests were finished. I had to chase down someone just to get a cup of coffee. Very disappointed with her service. Food was fabulous. Aside from our waitress, it was a lovely event.
Nice location but as a previous reviewer stated the service left much to be desired. The wait staff all stood in one area mingling with each other while tables were hungry. They didn’t know how to deliver the food in a timely organized manner. Our waiter brought out the family style served rice and 30 minutes later her brought out our food. The rice was cold by then. I used a butter knife to cut my steak until someone at my table saw steak knives on a tray and handed them out herself. I literally felt sorry for our waiter and helped him out through out the evening. I counted, 4 times, plates and trays of food crashed to the floor. The people at my table used their chair to block others from walking where the spill was “cleaned up” because people were still slipping. They need a crash course on how to serve. Despite all that my party made the most of our event
Held my birthday here Bradford and larry really took care of us. I had an amazing birthday and all of my guest raved about the food stations. They took care of us every step of the way. I am already planning to host my next birthday party here. Service was exceptional.
This is our first season with Greentree. Weve enjoyed the quiet yet family inviting atmosphere. The staff is helpful and gracious, the grounds and bathrooms well maintained. The only disappointment is the end of season unavailability of food at the concession. Considering there is a fairly high dollar amount required at the beginning of the season for food and with the long holiday weekend at the end, we thought there would be more of an offering than stand leftovers of candy, bags of chips and bottled beverages that dont include water. Its a catering hall first, food choices were nice
My daughter was married at Greentree last Saturday. It was such a beautiful event. The attention to detail by the staff was phenomenal. They covered every possible need that any of us had. The food was delicious and plentiful. Everyone had a wonderful evening. Thank you all for such a special time at your beautiful venue.
Greentree hosted my brothers wedding the day after Christmas. We had 600+ guests in attendance, It was a big fat Bengali wedding and it was flawless. I could not have asked for better service. Hats off to Bradford, who went above and beyond and was helpful every minute we were there. He understood what we were looking for and executed beautifully. Allan, the manager was there to make sure everything was smooth. I did not get any complaints about the food. We had a duet and both the salmon and chicken were very large portions (and Halal as per our request).Greentree made a wedding with 600+ feel like a wedding for 200. They helped pack everything for us, gave us left over food and were perfect.Besides the venue being beautiful, the service was impeccable, I recommend Greentree to anyone.
I went to a wedding this place is beautiful, the staff is great and friendly. Such a great place to either have family time or to have an beautiful event. The only thing I must say, during the wedding they had an event which was very loud, I think that was rude and should have been told to lower the volume or took the mic away. Other than that was great!
I attended the bar association event last night at the Greentree Country Club. We had a turn and obviously more than we expected. I must say I was very impressed with the valet service Greentree provided. Although there was a bit of a wait, those guys had us in promptly. More impressed was the system they had when we left! I gave them my ticket and my car came right without waiting! Good job Greentree and your valet team!
I was here for a 700 person wedding and was very hesitant at first upon finding out that there was valet parking. I ended up valeting and couldnt be happier with the service provided. The valet attendants were extremely fast and on their toes. With a 700 person wedding, I was expecting slower service, but my car was brought to me within two minutes of asking for it. Great venue and service.
Nice location but the food and service is sub-par. Service was unorganized. Food at cocktail hour was cold. Only half the table received their dinner. People ordered steak but had to use a butter knife to cut it. No announcement was made for the dessert bar or ice cream station.
Dear Kiristina,I wanted to take the time to send you and your entire team a letter of thank you. You were so wonderful in every aspect in every way. Right from the start you were very professional and very understanding. You made this experience a successful one and made it feel easy because you were so willing to go the extra mile to help out. Your service went over and beyond expectations. Just so you know, this treatment will not be forgotten and thank you so much for making this a wonderful memorable wedding. We definitely will consider your venue for our future events. You deserve a 5 star rating ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️Respectfully and gratefully yours,The Dasan’s.
I went there for a really last minute day of appointment to see the venue, and I can’t tell you how amazing it was. They were super accommodating and absolutely charming. My fiancé and I spoke with Larry, after receiving multiple recommendations from coworkers/friends & were not disappointed. We are putting in our deposit this weekend! Definitely come here, you won’t be disappointed!!!
I was recently married here this past Saturday. Hands down I would get married here again and again, not only does Greentree Country club have an amazing view of the water but the service here is impeccable. Michelle, Joanna, and Bradford worked extremely hard to make sure everything went off without a hitch. Even the morning of the wedding when I had hiccups they made sure everything went smoothly and I was a happy bride. My guests loved the food, the cleanliness and the service they received there. They couldnt get over how beautiful the place was and how all the servers paid attention to all their needs. I cant thank Michelle and Joanna for the many emails we had, I was a bride with many question and they went above and beyond to answer them. Bradford made sure everything looked immaculate and everything happened in a timely fashion. My bridal attendant made sure all my personal needs were taking care the day of. She was amazing she even knew how to hook up my bustle. I have no regrets and am extremely grateful to Greentree for helping me to celebrate my new life with such a great start.
Full of rich, rude snobs who have no interest in anything other then lining their own wallets & tend to turn the other cheek to anyone who gives them a rain check for missing a Saturday. The place also can get stale & boring within 2 hours of a casual visit. The management also tends to take awhile to notice visitors. The venue also happens to not get many visitors anyway for half the year maybe due to its lacklustre exterior being a factor & its a nightmare to navigate similar to the Addams family mansion and there is no public map. Ever got lost in a shopping mall for hours on end? Well that could happen here too especially since the rooms can be hard to tell apart due to similar designs and theyre wider. Its like a game of Wheres Waldo? Speaking of games, can holding an event here be any fun? If youre party planner of the year then sure but be careful of the environment since the floors are often washed regularly. This is a problem not only if its crowded but also the place is full of sharp objects made of glass & metal. Sure there are wet floor signs but maybe thats not enough if the individual is either drunk or distracted. Speaking of impairments, if youre a disabled person who has a cane or wheelchair then this is not the place for you for there are about 3 flights of stairs with the first at the entrance being 40 steps or so high and the rails are about the width of a soccer net apart from each other and theres no elevator.
Best night of my life. They made everything perfect. From the service to the food to the bridal attendance. I want to make a special thank you to Anthony for making our wedding go so smooth. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to do any parties or events. Thank you Greentree!
Thank you Greentree and Anthony for such a wonderful wedding reception. From the moment we signed the contract with Anthony, it was only a wonderful experience. Everyone at Greentree delivered exactly what they promised. From the moment we walked in on the wedding day, we all felt special and treated so well. They remembered exactly what our daughter and son-in-law requested. Thank you Anthony for the patience with all the questions we had. Thank you to the entire staff for all your hard work. We truly appreciate it and will surely refer many others to you.
Deserves more than 5 stars!!Simply the best.We got married on October 3rd 2015. From beginning to end, I could not have asked for a more responsive and professional staff to give us and our guests the best night of our life!I am still getting non-stop compliments on how great the food was and how much food there was.It was FLAWLESS!!We did not have any prior knowledge to Greentree before booking. When searching for a venue I wanted something unique and large enough to fit about 300 guests if necessary. There isnt a lot of information about Greentree online, but visited anyway. We pulled up to this manor-looking mansion that instantly took my breath away. We walked through the front door and it smelled fresh and was just immaculately clean. The person we met with was so passionate about the venue and really loved working for the club. It was a very easy and seamless negotiation and we were thrilled with how much food we were getting especially that we both had very Italian families to please! A few weeks before the wedding, I spent a lot of time with Greentree working on details and BRADFORD, LARRY, AND JOANNA were always a dream to work with! Also, to point out that no matter when I went there (whether a party had just taken place or mid week), the entire club was immaculately and smelled the exact same way, EVERY SINGLE TIME! that is a hard thing to accomplish and really shows how much they care about the experience for current and future guests! Now, for the wedding... Our party bus had broken down and we had to get to the venue late by UBER. a funny story for years to come, but Bradford and the bridal attendant had everything under control to keep the cocktail hour running for an extra 45 min. You never know how much you can trust a banquet coordinator and director, especially being a very particular bride, but BRADFORD IS BEYOND AMAZING and devoted to making your dream come true. It exceeded my expectations and I was blown away on how the room looked! TY!!
Pretty good reception hall. Attended a wedding there. Positives include the admin staff and the outdoor view/flowers. The downsides were the lack of AC in the cocktail hour area (in the middle of the summer) and occasional small problems with the food. Like all reception halls the wait staff was too quick to take drinks and plates from tables.
The location is nice and has a great view. We have been to Greentree Country Club multiple times for weddings and other events and were happy with our time. However, on March 23rd, we had a very bad experience attending a wedding at this venue. While we were seated for the reception, we noticed many other tables had juices, but ours only had water. We had to request them to bring juice to our table as well. The main course was very bland as the chicken had no flavor. The salmon which one of the others at our table ordered was not cleaned properly, so they choose not to eat it. Later, one of their employees dropped a set of cups leaving shards of glass and liquid spilled over the floor. They cleaned up the glass but did not use a wet floor sign or caution walking guests. Thus, my son ended up slipping and falling on the floor which the employees proceeded to pay little attention to. We received no apologies for their mistake and one of the employees finally brought us ice long after my daughter had already gotten it from the bar. Finally, we got home to receive a call from our bank about unusual transactions only to discover that my credit card was missing from my wallet. The card which I had used just the night before had been in my wallet which I left in the car during the ceremony. Since we stopped nowhere before or after the wedding and the charges started while we were attending the event, it is safe to assume that one of the valet staff had stolen it. We gave our car to the valet at around 10:45 am and left the vicinity at 4 pm. Meanwhile, starting around 12 pm, nearly $4000 in charges were made on the missing credit card, leading to our bank blocking any further charges and contacting us. We filed a complaint with the Greentree Country Club manager only to be told the valet staff are employed be a separate private company and they had no responsibility for stolen items. I contacted the valet staff company only to be told they have no right to question their employees and to contact the police if we had an issue. Now, I was forced to cancel my credit card and am planning to file a complaint with the New Rochelle police department. Overall, the majority of the staff of this facility is very unprofessional, insensitive, and rude and ruins the experience of this venue.
Let me start with the fact that they’re keeping almost 30k of OUR money for a wedding they couldn’t provide service for because of COVID-19. And as far as I know I’m not the only one, I have other relatives that booked with them and they’re refusing to give anyone their deposits back. As if that wasn’t enough, they have the audacity to have attitude with you and being just unacceptably RUDE, especially Dennis.Don’t book with them unless you want to get yourself in a big big mess!!!
I want to start off by saying it was a beautiful venue and the food was wonderful. Unfortunately the hostess for my brother and sister in laws wedding was so nasty. We arrived at Greentree at 2:00 to take pictures.I asked the women who was the hostess (short gray hair in her sixties) I asked if I could have water for my daughter and she told me no, they dont have water bottles. The cocktail hour wasnt going to start until 6:00.So the parents had to go behind the bar to get water for the kids. Later, when I was walking down the steps I almost tripped in my heels (Im a mom, I dont wear heels often) and in effort to make sure I didnt fall the wine in my glass spilled on the floor. This women screamed and cursed. It was not just adults but children present. Most people working in hospitality would rush to a guest to make sure they were ok but no, she flipped out. Then as the bridal party was being announced to walk in the reception she made sure to scold me saying that I spilled wine on her. Later at the end of the wedding we were waiting for the shuttle that didnt show up on time and we went up the stairs to the area that there were comfortable couches to sit on because the children, a pregnant women and even the parents were tired. She kicked everyone out saying no one was allowed up there. Why is it there then? No one was sitting there. To end my rant I just want to say that I would absolutely have your wedding there if you are considering it, it really was beautiful! Just a heads up to make sure that horrible women is not working the night of your wedding.
I truly do not even know where to start.I run A Moment of Magic Foundation, a nonprofit that provides programming for children with cancer. After last years gala, I was feeling really overwhelmed and unsure about how to actually make a second one happen. Last year was expensive, crowded, and exhausting and we saw a less than ideal return on our investment. After calling almost a dozen places on our list, I was starting to feel like there was no way we would be able to afford it. Connecting with Kristina Bucaj at the Greentree was truly serendipitous and gave me the hope I needed to continue putting one foot in front of the other in making this happen. The staff was so beyond kind to us the entire duration of the planning experience and the event. Allowing us to come in early and set up gave me respite and allowed this experience to be organized and not the least bit stressful. Seriously, I even got to get my own hair and makeup done which NEVER happens! Their flexibility ensured that we felt prepared and comfortable and as this was our first time organizing an event for that many people, it was truly appreciated.Walking into the venue on Friday night was nothing short of pure magic. They helped my dream come true and seeing it before my eyes was a very emotional experience. Trying to operate on a shoestring budget is exhausting and overwhelming because every dollar we spend is a choice of investing in a fundraiser or making an immediate impact in a childs life and no matter how many times we hold a fundraiser, that decision is difficult. Not only did they help with the venue, but they helped connect us to partners who also donated their time and services, literally saving us tens of thousands of dollars. They made sure that decision is one I felt comfortable with and supported me every step of the way. I could literally never thank them enough for that.I am so thrilled to share that we raised over $60,000 for the kids with their help. That is nearly triple what we made last year. They elevated our experience to being some kids in a dorm room trying to make a difference to adults making a real, direct, and sustainable impact. Now that we found our footing, we have the confidence in continuing to raise the experience into being better and better. I could never thank them enough for that.I think its a safe bet that we would love to work with The Greentree again. I have been dreaming about this gala for so long, and The Greentree truly felt like this events home.Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for believing in our mission and helping children battling cancer. I dont think I will ever be able to put into words just how much they made a difference, but I certainly will do everything I can to try.I am so grateful for the day that phone call happened as it was true serendipity. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you Kristina Bucaj and team. You made a true difference to the kids that need it most.
The most beautiful location for a wedding and reception. My only con is that there can be several outdoor weddings going on at the same time and it can be a little distracting with all the different sounds of music playing. Despite this, the place is every brides dream location!
Thank you, Allen!!! You made our event spectacular and delicious. You and your staff are truly professional. Magda was wonderful and our Maitre D, Gonzalo, was on top of every detail... Our guests are still raving! Wish we could give you more stars...highly recommend!
While planning our wedding my wife and I looked at many different catering halls throughout New York. The end result was the greentree country club. The main room is modern and spacious with a backdrop of the beach puts the cherry on top. Perfect grounds for taking beautifulPictures as well. Kristina Bucaj who was our point to person made our wedding planning seamless. From start to finish, Kristina was very accommodating and helped us tremendously including flower recommendations which were done by Columbia florist and our backdrop done by bdazzled events. Our wedding took place on July 7th 2019 and was fantastic from food, outdoor cocktail hour, and great service by staff including John the major dee. We highly recommend the Greentree country club if your looking for a beautiful catering hall in an ideal location.
Went to my wifes sisters wedding here. They were promised a locked Bridal Suite but the lock didnt work and somebody came in the room and stole all the Bridesmaids credit cards and IDs. The staff refused to help or care. The manager locked himself in his office when the police showed up.
It was my wedding day had about 40-50 people our roon that we booked was freezing cold. Me and my husband coMplained. Turns out they forgot to turn on the heat. Plus the food was horrible when they served us. the waiters forgot to give so many people there food. This was all last night. Worst experience ever!
Went to a wedding reception here..the venue was fine, but the food was horrible. The appetizers/buffet hour was uneventful. The fried calamari was salty, and the flavors of a few other things were off, like the too-mustardy broccoli rabe.. The only item I enjoyed was the cheese ravioli with mushroom sauce. They also had a carving station with a roasted pig, but the carver was using a knife with no teeth. Hence, it was taking him forever to cut. Unbelievably, noone-including waiters & waitresses- could find knives to bring out, in order for us to cut up the meat pieces & eat them.As for the main course, the romaine salad was average, the pasta was too mushy & the filet mignon was bland. The quality of the meat was also poor. The accompanying potato croquet looked & tasted like it had just been removed form a microwave, and the accompanying vegetables were not good. All in all, I was disappointed in the quality of food, big time!
Went to a wedding ...ceremony took place outside ..we got inside for cocktail hour and a very rude woman not sure her role cause she was rude from the time we went into building hardly spoke and was very nasty( short older lady short blonde hair) kept yelling cocktails on the other room well the other room was extremely hot and another her gentleman opened up the reception room and said its ok to go in there ..every thing looked beautiful the wait staff was horrible our table was forgotten a few times never did find out who the server was they had no knowledge of the food and their were waiters and waitress standing around so I bought to their attention that we were not served salad ..I got back in a thick Spanish accent not my table and then she never moved ok so go find out whos table it is..same thing happened for coffee and when the waiter did tell this one girl ( a tall black girl) she was overheard saying oh they can wait...unprofessional .and I basically cleared off our table of dishes ,since no one else could bother to come over ...and leaving the same prune face lady at the door ,still doesnt speak maybe good by hope you enjoyed ..and as we are leaving the man who seemed to be more in charged proceeded to stand right as guest are leaving and take his shoe off to pick something out ..classy..

2022-02-03Got married at Greentree in December and could not have had a better experience! We originally booked a May 2021 date right before the pandemic began. They were immediately understanding and flexible throughout the planning process and inevitable rescheduling.Christina and the team were so kind and patient. She worked with us from start to finish to accommodate all our requests/wishes for the wedding. Our wedding day was beyond perfect! Both Bradford (day of coordinator) and Daisy (bridal attendant) were AMAZING! Not a single thing went wrong, they were absolutely incredible!!

2022-05-11Had our medical school graduation dinner dance here and omg we had such an amazing time. Views were amazing, food was delicious ( I’m a foodie and can honestly say food was great, which you don’t usually get at an catered venue). Servers were so on top of everything. Bathrooms are close by to dance floor so no inconvenience (love). Would def recommend for any major event, wedding, birthday, anything. Truly beautiful.

2022-04-12I wanted to tell you that Bradford did a fabulous job at our wedding. He made sure that everything was done that would make the day run smoothly and make the bride happy.Everything went so well that I can’t even think of a single thing that I would have asked to be done differently.Bradfords attention to detail, and always with a smile, is amazing. I also wanted to highlight that Daisy, the bridal attendant, did a great job.Thank you for everything!

2022-04-08My husband and I got married at Greentree on April 3, 2022 and I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing the entire process was! From the beginning, Kristina explained the various options that we had to choose from and made the selection process for us as easy as possible. My family has a few dietary restrictions and Kristina was able to suggest alternatives that were a hit! All of my guests have been raving about the delicious cocktail hour and amazing entrées they received! On the actual day, as expected a few things delayed us arriving for our ceremony on time but Bradford was so professional! He helped calm me down and ensured that all things would still run smoothly. He was there to assist my coordinator and my decorator with anything that they needed! There were two staff members who were with me the entire time, ensuring that my dress was on properly, offering me food and drinks, and also making sure I was well taken care of. I felt like a literal queen!I can’t even begin to describe the venue itself! Absolutely breathtaking! We initially planned on having an outdoor ceremony but the weather would not permit. The staff at Greentree however, helped ensure that the indoor ceremony space would accommodate my guests. If you are looking for amazing staff, with knowledgeable expertise, Greentree is the place to celebrate not only your wedding, but any event! They are wonderful people, with such beautiful hearts! Thank you so much for everything!- Nelson and Naana

2022-06-14I got married at Greentree this past April and (besides the fact that it was my wedding day) it was the most amazing experience. I couldnt have asked for a better day. It was perfect. Everyone who worked there was always available to help me with planning and setting up the rooms exactly how I envisioned them. I worked with Bradford, who was a ray of sunshine and a highlight of Greentree. He was always around, before AND during the wedding, making sure the day was going to run smoothly and be as perfect as I could have imagined- and he put up with my numerous phone calls lol.Since I got married in April we wanted a location that would be gorgeous outside and, incase it was cold, inside... which we ended up doing because it was a cold 45 degree day. My bridal attendant, Daisy, was also amazing. making sure I was hydrating, taking my shoes off between pictures and making sure the back of my dress and veil were set perfectly before any picture was taken. (Im a wedding hairstylist so I know how rare that is for bridal attendants... she was truly perfect and a pleasure to spend my day with). My husband and I are beyond grateful we chose to have our most special day at Greentree!!!! (Also, I wanted to add that when we were booking the location and signing the contract Kristina was the one who helped us out and she was also a pleasure to work with.)

2022-06-07I would NOT have another event here. I was very unhappy as they did not deliver on what was promised. We were promised all staff would wear masks given there were several immunocompromised individuals present in the wedding party- not even a third of staff did. We were told we would be able to have the ceremony outside and be able to decide as a couple the morning of- day of we were told we couldn’t. Since we paid for 100 people and had only about 90 we were told we would be able to take the rest of the meals home- they didn’t do this. We made very clear that cocktail hour was very important to us and we were promised a specific menu- only about half of it was actually put out. The cocktail hour food wasn’t even out and ready for bride and groom until there was just five minutes left, leaving no time for them to eat. The bride was pregnant and the venue knew this but still served her alcohol and red meat despite requesting otherwise. They even served her alcohol in front of everyone before the pregnancy was announced, making for an awkward exchange. The matre d didn’t even remember to roll out the cloth for the bride to walk down when it was her turn to enter and he got in the way of all of the cake cutting shots. The matre d also started the ceremony before he was supposed to. This is something we paid $700 extra for to make sure “everything would go smoothly” just for him to mess things up. The bridal attendant attended to the bride for maybe 5% of the day. It was requested to have paw prints on our cake and we were told they couldn’t do that which is ridiculous because it’s literally just black circles. They jipped us a half hour of our paid time. They told us we couldn’t arrive before 9am because no one would be there to open the door but day of my makeup artist was able to get in at 8:30- that extra half hour would’ve made a huge difference. The person we communicated with all through the planning process was rude and difficult- more concerned with our guests happiness than the happiness of those paying for the event. We were completed ripped off, lied to, and were overall unhappy with this venue. We would NOT recommend it to anyone.

2022-01-27The venue is beautiful. Planning our wedding with the staff went smoothly. The staff was friendly and worked with us to plan the day we wanted to have. Our day was amazing; everything went perfectly the day of. We thought we were going to have to have our ceremony under a tent because it was likely going to rain. When it didn’t they moved our ceremony back to the uncovered area. The food was excellent and our cake tasted amazing. However, several things went wrong that lead me to not recommend the venue. I’ll start with the worst part: 1) THEY THREW OUT MY BOUQUET with my late grandmother’s handkerchief tied around it as my “something borrowed.” Just before walking into the reception my bridal attendant took my bouquet because it was so heavy. In the midst of everything I forgot about it. I figured someone would make sure to get it for me. Our wedding was Friday and we came back on Sunday to retrieve the rest of our stuff. My bouquet wasn’t with everything so I assumed my mom or someone else definitely had it. I asked everyone, and no one did. I called the venue and was told by our maitre d it “probably got thrown out” and “this has HAPPENED BEFORE” so they would “probably find it.” Why is this a common occurrence for them?! They said the garbage is picked up on thursday so on Thursday they will follow the truck to the dump, have the compactor container emptied into a larger one so they could search through the trash for it. I was not allowed to go in with them because they said the dump wouldn’t allow me to. That’s fine. I’m not sure they truly did search for it. I like to think they did, but they never found my rather large bouquet. Maybe a staff member took it home. My husband complained and was told that they had it in the fridge, but didn’t think we were coming back for it, even though all our stuff was still there. We were told we could come back anytime that weekend. They also NEVER EVEN CALLED to ask if we were coming before throwing it out and didn’t have a response when my husband said that to them. The owner/owner’s daughter, Magda was not apologetic and gave me the impression that she didn’t think the situation was a big deal at all. Everyone around me was taking care of everything so I could relax which definitely led me to assuming that everything really would be taken care of. I was so, so sick over losing the handkerchief. 2) we had a seafood station for cocktail hour but none of that food was brought up to our bridal suite. 3) we didn’t get the top layer of our cake or any leftover slices. 4) we showed them a picture of the cake we wanted as they have an in house pastry chef. We were told they could make anything we wanted. Our cake looked nothing like we asked for hand wasn’t very pretty. 5) they “lost track of” our cake toppers, which I’m sure means they threw them out along with my bouquet. So due to these pitfalls, I would not recommend Greentree, unless you specifically ask them not to throw out your personal items.

2022-02-23I had 5 events that I hosted in the greentree country club , to start from one of the managers Cristina, to all of their staff it was amazing really easy and very helpful in every situation that we need it help with . The waitstaff was great and the food literally one of the best , every guest texted me back to thank and talk about how good food and service it was . If it’s possible for more than 5 ⭐️ I would give it to them, they truly deserve it . Looking forward to host our next event there .
