Wegmans was good. Not too busy. Cashier was very nice and we had alot of groceries and he did a great job taking care of us. Tip for Danny open up another store in Alden Or Elma. Too many people come to the Losson Road store.
Love Wegmans stores but, like everywhere else, prices are going up. Its still my primary place to buy groceries. Their Cafe is very nice too.
The fish frys were expensive, small, burnt and awful, fries were old. Buffalo chicken calzone wasnt even edible.
Although the Losson Road store not my home store of Transit Williamsville, this Wegmans store met my expectations of cleanliness and helpful associates.
Fresh , clean , everything you need is right there . Great prices , services . All in one shop stop . 10 out of 10
Love the customer service..the selections of produce is great..bathrooms are well attended..amazing in such a big area..however..I am not happy with the placement of the floral dept..it was always so welcoming to be greeted with such beautiful flowers & plants & convenient to grab on your way out instead of now needing to carry cut flowers out of water to fit in a full shopping cart thru rest of store. I miss the days when staff was easily accessible to assist with questions. But Wegmans still the best & Please keep playing the music & decorating for the seasons & holidays!
Wegmans has the best homemade items. Anything made by them is amazing..... but you have to pay for it. They price it up there but... it is sometimes worth it.

I just luv this store. I can find everything I need. The store is always well stocked, clean, well managed. If you cant find something or you need assistance someones there to help you in a pleasant professional manner. Keep up the good work 👍👍👍.

They are pushing their generic branded private label products. Difficult to find name brand products at their stores. Have to go elsewhere. Also they are not in compliance of the Erie County Mask Mandate as I have observed a high percentage of customers strolling around without a mask. Mentioned this to several employees and they stated they were advised by management not to say or do anything. Great - Wegmans is endangering the health of their employees and customers. They are supposed to mandate and enforce the mask mandate - its not optional regardless of how you feel about it. Reporting these occurrences to ECDOH.
Pharmacy wouldnt call the Dr for a refill on my husbands pills. Very disappointing
I love Wegmans produce! I moved and still drive the 45 mins every weekend! And football Sundays are the best, even tho its crowded but thats part of the football experience! And I love seeing all the love and support for the Buffalo Bills!
Wegmans can be a little more expensive at times. However the quality is so much better that other local groceries. Their produce is the best hands down. Far better than competitors across the street.

I was verbaly intimidated, forced and Backed into a corner by 2 managers. Humiliated and shamed in front of family and other customers. It was a fearful experience for my entire family as they separated my family , then took athority over me. My rites taken by the wegmans mafia. Do not underestimate bullying they are willing and capable of. The crime i was accused of was being heard not speaking english. They were intent on shaming me, discipline me in front of everyone. All because i did not speaking english and a worker heard me. They discriminated against me all because did not speak english. They said it make a worker uncomfortable now i am more than uncomfortable. I would be too afraid to ever go back. Scarry..This could be you. You too could have your rights ignored your family scared. and be bullied intimidated shamed, all for something that seemed so inocent, Even friendly. You have no idea what could result in terror tactis in retaliation.!The good news is I since the abuse we have literally saved thousands by shopping in other stores. Every other store is significant cheaper. No joke just look. ..
Wegmans in my opinion has the best produce in town. I also love visiting their bakery when Im there, plus an extra perk... Ive never seen there ladies room an ugly mess. Thank You Wegmans!🌞
They are fantastic ,very helpful in anything you may need and have everything you could possibly want and more! They always help me to my vehicle and put my groceries in there for me ! Always ask if you found everything you wanted and will make sure you get it before you cash out! I recommend that Everyone should shop there!
Wegmans used to be a good store about 10 years back. I noticed once they change the label with Danny Wegmans name to The Wegmans Family things started to change. The employees are miserable and they get irritated if you ask for help. The prices went up and theyre prepared food and the quality went down. Its mostly flavorless salt and sugar. Theyre constantly moving things around and putting things in unlikely places. I feel this is to force you to have to walk around the store and potentially get you to spend more money. How very corporate of them.
I was so appreciative of the deli manager who took the time to listen to my needs for my mother in law. He had a girl at the counter make up a special tray at no extra charge to suit her needs.
My favorite place to grocery shop. The best quality in produce, meats, etc as well as offering the best selection plus available inventory. Reasonable pricing. Enthusiastic & helpful staff. I like the ambience of Wegmans setup & decor. I especially feel comfort in that they are diligent with the cleanliness of this facility.
I mean who doesnt love Wegmans? honestly I would shop there all the time if their prices were a little bit lower but they are kind of expensive especially to shop for a family of 5. But love the store the employees are always superfriendly the store is clean and always stocked

I adore Wegmans and Ive said it before. This location is great but I like it less since they rearranged the departments and shelves (worse flow for my needs). The employees are happy and it shows, the store brand is great and the quality of the food is top notch. Pricier compared to my Aldis trips, but between the 2 stores I can get everything I need.
Once again, moldy produce. You need to fix how you sell your supposedly fresh fruit, such as grapes, strawberries, blueberries, etc. Packaged in plastic, looks good, but when you open, you find damaged moldy fruit inside. This has happened, so many times. I give up. I will not buy your produce anymore.
As expected, very busy. Fully stocked shelves, fine display of fully cooked shrimp.
As I have said in other reviews about Wegmans, it is the top store that I like to shop at! Along with a awesome variety of items to choose from they also have the best customer service, I have not once interacted with even one unpleasant employee! Thank you Wegmans and keep on with the great job!
They always have what we need whether its food Buffalo Bills or special occasion they always have something we can afford is an awesome quality tastes great and is budget friendly I would highly recommend them to anybody thats not wanting to go to their competitors totally love this place keep up the good work.

First time using grab&go. All of my food was correct! The bonus was the young man working. He was a gentleman. As soon as I walked in he greeted me and asked me how he could assist. All around a great experience!

Decent prices, great selection. Their carry out cafe is excellent it has a great variety and everything is fresh and delicious. Its always clean and organized in the store. Well stocked. Their bathrooms are excellent. LOL. All the employees I have encountered have been helpful & polite
The cashier this evening (Sunday 10pm) was unpleasant. Her actions & body language proved she was aggravated or annoyed having to be there. This is the 2nd time Ive had the displeasure of being in her check out line & her attitude is always this way

Plenty of inventory, nice selections of fruit, meat, etc. Checkout line exercised social distancing. Was literally near the back of the store in line and I didnt have to wait but roughly 2 mins as the checkout line was moving that fast. With a half cart of groceries, I was in/out in minutes. Always love the Wegmans experience regardless of which store!

The last 6 months or so, their customer service has gone way down. No matter what time you call, it’s at least a 7-8 minute wait before a live person answers. It’s ridiculous. Not sure if it’s due to less staff or what, but it’s terrible. When they do answer, the techs (some of them) are rude and not at all helpful. Wegmans used to go above & beyond to help you. Not any more. My last few interactions with them have not been positive. Seriously considering changing pharmacies.
Love the selection of healthy food here! They also have a nice eating area with a good selection of hot and cold foods, subs, and pizza. The store is always clean and the family-oriented bathrooms are great for anyone with kids (especially the complimentary diapers)!
Long lines at checkout. Controlled checkout. Great customer service!! You can find basically all your necessities. Masks are recommended when shopping. Limited shopping hours at each location. No more 24/7 during the pandemic. Overall great shopping experience!!

Who doesnt love Wegmans? Clean, well stocked and the nicest employees all the time. One concern.....recently I saw 2 women shopping without masks. I approached them, they were unresponsive to my reminder. I informed a worker who said they really couldnt do much about it. Really???? Despite the signs outside and the continuous messages that play in the store? Seems wrong that 2 people dont have to follow the stated SAFETY rules.

Great store, I can be in and out in under a half hour most days for my main shopping trip. As of writing this they are redoing the layout and some products are not easy to find but there are employees and signs to point you in the right direction. The recent implementation of the Wegmans Scan app that lets you scan and bag your groceries really puts this store in a whole different arena. Other grocery stores that do not have this feature feel like they are behind the times.

Transit Road Wegmans has a lot if not all of what you would be looking for. The selection of brands is not as plentiful as you might find in other stores because I think they focus selling their own Wegmans brand products. Wegmans has a lot of prepared ready to heat and serve foods. They offer several different food bars as well. Asian, salad, soups, chicken wings.. There is a sub shop and a little coffee counter in the store as well. They also offer sushi. There is an indoor and outdoor seating area. Their produce section has many different choices. There is always something new depending on the season. This is the one part of the store that gets the most congested because of the store layout. The bakery at Wegmans also has a lot of different offerings. Their breads are terrific. There is also a pharmacy and a large selection of health, wellness and beauty items. The floral section always has beautiful flower and plant choices. The beer selection is quite vast. They have your well known brands plus a lot of other beers youve probably never heard of.Recently a self serve checkout has been added for smaller credit only orders. It is very easy to use and there is always someone there to help. I think this was a great addition. It makes for quicker checkouts. Wegmans also offers drive ups if you need your groceries loaded into your car. That is such a nice service to offer customers who for whatever reason need help. They also participate in the Instacart service. I love the umbrellas that are available if you need to borrow one. Probably the best part of Wegmans are the employees. Always helpful and pleasant.
Good produce. Wegmans likes to promote their own private label items so that limits your choices.
It is like most other Wegmans. The layout is almost identical, the entire store is consistently filled with helpful employees and the products are good quality. The bathrooms are clean, as well as the rest of the store and you wont find better subs anywhere nearby.
Love wegmans bust the produce sucks. I came to replace strawberry that went bad and when I got home with the new ones I found mold in the middle of the new pack.
I have a foot injury (infected diabetic foot ulcer), and I asked the cashier to put 2 bottles of pop in each bag for the person I was buying them for as I cant carry heavy bags up a flight of stairs. The cashier ignored my request and put all 4 bottles in one bag along with Orange juice after telling her repeatedly and nicely I need two to a bag. Customers are just aa ignorant when trying to get to your car as no one wants to wait for you to fully cross the pedestrian cross walk to get to your car. Needless to say, Im disgusted by the human race.
Certain items are a bit pricey and there is usually a wait at the registers. Other than that, this is a great place to shop. Love their pre-made meals. The sushi is pretty good too. All their fresh produce is top notch. Probably the cleanest ...and nicest restroom Ive ever been in.

Wegmans is the happiest place that I can go to anytime I want. Everything is top-notch, the food is amazing and always fresh and inviting, and every single team member is always in great spirits, they are always willing to help or even to just say HI. I love going there and just shopping and browsing for hours at a time. Thank you Wegmans!
Store is nice with a good selection and freshness.For takeout:Dont get their pizza! Its Little Caesars quality, aka garbage!Subs used to be better but still passable. On the plus side the wings are really good.
Great store! Really good selection of food, includes a pretty extensive gluten-free aisle. I love all of the unique ingredients they have stocked. You pay a bit of a premium, but there are still deals to be found if you look hard enough. Very clean, and the employees are usually very nice.
Love this store! Wish you carried fresh pet food! But always have my Rachel Ray pet foods!! Love the fresh produce and meats!!! Definitely better than Tops!!!
I normally love my experience at Wegmans but tonight my cashier was not nice he was some what rude. I guess we all have bad days but you should leave your problems at the door when you go to work. Not to worry I will be back Wegmans cause I love the Wegmans way most of the time !!

They moved everything around during a pandemic. Why cause people to turn back to look for items while putting them at risk? Must have been a higher up decision. Workers are friendly and helpful.

Nearly all Wegmans deserve 5 star reviews. Consistency of service and quality products is their main game. This location is no exception. Service was friendly and helpful as can be expected. There are tons of choices for quick meals in house or to take away. Try the Old-Fashioned Subs, they are great and come in ample sizes to share or as a two meal option for a day on the road.
This grocery store is fabulous. They specialize in freshness. Delicious already made food prepared on premises. Customer service was excellent.

It was a good experience. A little disappointed that they ran out of propane to roast the Hatch green chili but Im looking forward to it next year. I think they need to do set ups and introduction to the specialty products to get people more familiar and knowledgeable with how to prepare and cook them.
Wegmans is hands down the best regional supermarket with multiple fresh food options, coffee and sub bars. The cleanliness is exceptional. Nothing really to complain about other than not wanting to leave.
Best supermarket ever - loads of different departments in the store . Only downfall is they are dropping a lot of names branded items for their own labeled goods ( which is not always better )
I love this store. We love near Attica so dont get heat very often but always love it. Wish theyd build one closer. Maybe Batavia? I know allot of people who said they would shop there all the time if one was in Batavia area
Came here looking for something that I wasnt able to find at another place and I found it here and it was cheaper. The atmosphere was pleasant and the store was well stocked and the cashiers were friendly. I absolutely love this one I will gladly take the drive to this location again soon
Shame on them! Plastic bags at cashier checkout but self checkout none. If you have milk, eggs and bread a bag would help, especially carrying eggs. A paper bag will cost you 5 cents. Not a big deal but when I questioned an associate why not at least be given a choice? Answer given, 5 cents will go to a food Bank. If that is even truthful, I believe the Rochester area food banks will be the recipients.

Whats not to love about wegmans? They have vegan/dairy free pizza for takeout in the cafe, their natures marketplace is fantastic for dairy free, gluten free and organic goods. Its just the best grocery store ever.

So busy it was like they were giving away free food but man they keep up the service. No place is perfect but I really appreciate the work they do. Employees do make the experience and I hope they’re treated as well as they treat me.
The managers stand around and talk, they seem very annoyed when asked questions. Very bad experiance and wont be coming again till the issues fixed. Shame on wegmans.
I love Wegmans as a store, they almost always have everything I need, even some international food! One big downside is that its ALWAYS busy no matter when you go.
As usual Wegmans serves up great service, great products, plenty of cashiers, hardly any wait time in line. Its just so much nicer than any other supermarket around!
I like Wegmans. I think they have the best fruits and vegetables of anyone around here. Something I dont like is that they are so big you can get lost in the store or have difficulty finding what you really want because they have so much. Usually you can ask one of the employees where is this that or the next thing and they will not only tell you where it is but they will take you to it. The employees at Wegmans seem to be much more friendly than it some other food stores.
We enjoy shopping at Wegmans; but our shopping trip today was disappointing. We noticed that prices have increased a substantial amount, ie $4.00 for something that was $3.00 a week ago (pastry hearts package of 2) and $9.00 for a small spaghetti dinner that was previously $8.00 to name a couple items. Also, Wegmans used to offer coupons to their customers; but they are not offering coupons anymore. We hope Wegmans will revive the coupons promotions and lower their prices soon.

The best grocery store around! They have a huge fresh section, an impressive foreign section, and a craft your own pack beer section that is refrigerated and ready to enjoy. I completely trust their sushi, all of their ready made meals are superb in comparison to other stores.
Used Wegmans To Go app. Ordered some subs and desserts on the app. Got a message saying when they would be ready. The parking lot has designated spaces, I texted the space where we were and a few minutes later someone brought it to the car. All the food was as requested. Great experience.
One of my favorite stores. I love the great selection. I tell all my friends that shop at Tops they could save so much more money at Wegmans. The Fast food & subs are terrific.I use there pharmacy, bakery , and deli as well. Im sold
The go to place for groceries or even a pre made meal! Subs are amazing! Wings are almost good enough to die for! And for a grocery store wing that is saying something! Great selection on all groceries and staff is always very helpful! Wegmans definitely loves up to its reputation
All of the Wegmans locations are extremely busy!They have fresh vegetables fresh bakery. You can pick up a fresh meal while youre there to just heat and serve.
Best selection of organic foods if you cant make it to the co-op! Very good quality fruits and veggies some of which is grown by local farmers. I prefer buying from locals. Ambiance is that of a General Store but size is huge. Lighting is less institutional. Thank goodness. Love Weggies. Prices are moderate to expensive.
After a side by side price comparison on our groceries, I found that we save about 50 bucks a week on our groceries at Wegmans over Tops. More variety than Walmart. Also, their produce keeps a bit longer than what you get at Walmart.
Wegmans is always a highly rated place and theres a reason for that. It feels nice, the workers are friendly, and the little things make the experience better. Things like milk are right up front so you can grab and go. The food is always fresh and tastes great, and its almost always cheaper than Tops or another place. I dont know why anyone goes anywhere else

Great store for organic products and more variety than most typical grocery stores. They also have a huge buffet area but they close pretty early. Call ahead to make sure the food is still out. This is a big store with a big selection and stock of food.
Ive been to many Wegmans, and I have my favorites. Ive always driven past this location just because theres a bigger one down the road that I always end up going to but I decided to just explore.One thing that excited me is that the bottle return area is in the actual store and not in its own separate space. I find that when their in their own area, they close the doors at 10pm. With my work schedule I just can never get there in time, so I like that its in the actual store. Thats a definite plus!Another plus is their healthy/vegan section of the store. You can always find something there either sold out of at another store, or they have a secret gem that they only carry at certain locations. I love just browsing and finding new items. I always take notes, or pictures and make sure I buy it the next time around.
Great place to shop. They still employ cashiers! There was a great system at checkout. There are other systems in place so you can use their app to checkout if it is busy.
Why would they decide to rearrange their store in the middle of a pandemic!! How do you expect to maintain distance when all the shoppers are wandering around the store looking for items they use to know where they were. This is insane!!Wegmans resembles a ZOO.

Its so aggravating that Wegmans decides to reorganize the store during such a time of flux. Ive gotten to hate shopping here these past few weeks.And they stopped all ecoupons. Whats up with that? Doesnt even make sense.So disappointed in this store.
I love Wegmans. Great produce, great variety in the aisles, decent sushi, employees are friendly. This location carries NYX, my favorite drugstore cosmetic line. For that alone Id give them 5 stars.
Bought 1/4 sheet cake even though they could not write on it because of limits do to covid staff at register area directing people to register so lines moved swiftly with out people being to close they had a great system and just about every register open probably 20 of them wait was seconds
Overcrowded, overhyped, overpriced.This Wegmans is way too small for the market served. Many aisles can only fit one cart. Going here on the weekend is worse than hell.Prepared food way overpriced. Salad bar $9 a pound. $9 for a piece of chicken and mashed potatoes? Rotisserie chicken drier than jerky. Sub shop cant roll a wrap properly.I like what Wegmans sells but not worth the higher prices and aggrevation to shop here.
My favorite wegmans as they have a lot of sanitizer stations that are full and maintained. Not to mention that have a decent selection of vegan meals/prepared meals that are okay in price.
A wonderful assortment of goods and products that you can buy anytime. The store is laid out very nicely, with its own cafe with many options to eat! Cashiers are usually friendly and management staff are usually seen around. A great place for food shopping and very family-friendly!

Shopping for groceries at the top store!Size may be intimidating, BUT you can do a shopping list online and it will tell you the fastest way through the store.Wegmans coffee pods are good and cheap too! At this time, $4.00 for 12 pods. Saves a lot of money going through drive thru to get coffee in AM.
I only went to the restaurant/cafeteria part...but it was quite good. The food on the steel trays never looked like it had been there very long. Very fresh. Winner for a casual lunch!

I like going to Wegmans because its just up the street and Iike their products. Once in a while I take advantage of the sales. Its very clean and cashiers are efficient and pleasant. The pharmacy has provided my prescriptions for many years now. Their staff is familiar, helpful and friendly.
Always an amazing place to shop, the sub shop and pizza shop are becoming a normal part of my meal consumption!
Quality of produce is always superb. Selection is great. Staff is friendly. Checkout sometimes takes a bit longer than other stores, but that is due to so many locals shopping there. Prices are a bit higher then some other supermarkets, but if you are looking for quality they have you covered.

It was a very plesant experience. Went at 11pm on a Wednesday, low volume in the aisles. Super friendly cashier. Not to mention their prices beat Tops (personally boycotting them for price gouging). A+ Wegmans. Dont change a thing.
I preface this 1 star rating by saying I love Wegmans, the chain is one of the main reasons I dont move south. HOWEVER, the pizza and wings are a no for me. The first time I ordered them we got legit jumbo wings as advertised, they were huge, and nice and saucey. The pizza tastes good but was very disappointed to learn the NY style thin crust pizza was eliminated from the menu.Our second ordering of the wings (05/09/20) was terrible. Tiny, dry, and 3 of the 20 wings we literal half pieces. The fisrt time we ordered, a double (20) was $20, this time a double order was $25. Wing orders do not include bleu cheese and or carrots/celery. We wont order wings again.
Thanks to wegmans for NOT having self checkouts. I do not like going to other supermarkets after 9pm and having to cash myself out while the store is paying an employee to watch me and play on there personal phones. So kudos to a wegmans, I had a very good shopping experience.

Wegmans does a good job of keeping their lines down even during peak times. The produce is very fresh and their consistent low prices make it our only stop when grocery shopping.
Its a really great place and the workers and so nice and they help you out with anything your looking for. I really want to point out the sushi station...the people that do them and so kind and will wrap up anything you ask for, so I really appreciate them😀
Good prices and quality meat. Medium prices on other stuff. They have a lot of organic items. I dont like that but a lot of people do so take that as you need it. But dont go on the weekends if you dont like crowds. Its always busy but its insane on the weekends.
I live in NYC so we dont have stores this big especially in Manhattan. I enjoy all the choices,the quality. I just love shopping there when I visit Buffalo.

This is no knock on Wegmans as a company, its the best!! But if I have the option Im going to any other Wegmans location in the area. This store is so busy all the time, it really needs a remodel. The floor plan is so cluttered!

Not my favorite Wegmans. Limited selection, a lot of what was out seemed old. Every tulip in the floral department looked like it was on its last legs. No fresh squeezed OJ. Very limited selection of seafood.
Although its almost always crowded (which, you get everywhere so not a problem) its a very wonderful grocery store! Everything is fairly easy to find, and staff is very kind and ready to help!
Would have given it a full 5 if the prices at this one werent so much higher than the other Wegmans Id usually been shopping with in the city on Amherst St. That store is just lots better if you ask me...the cashier here was crazy sweet and helpful though...
Bought the placemats for dining room table at an excellent reasonable price. Aisles wide for scooter. If send husband with a list and he cant find an item their staff are friendly and helpful.

Clean stores with friendly associates. Produce is always fresh and your choices are endless! The only drawback is that the wegmans brand has taken over the shelves.

Wegmans has been my families source for food since I can recall. We shopped at the Alberta store in Amherst prior to moving to Marilla. So we have a LONG history with the store chain. I am very sad to say that the quality which evidentally superior to their competitors has gone away. Fruits go bad after 2 days and the milk is beyond unacceptable. We have tossed 4 gallons of milk in 4 weeks which was at the hurdle stage 4-5 days prior to the sell by date. That is not the Wegmans I knew for so long. I have stopped buying milk from Wegmans and switched to Tops. The milk is good and stays fresh. I am not sure what the problem is but it better stop or business will suffer.
Wegmans is always the best supermarket in any area. Always clean and well-stocked, the employees are always competent, friendly, and helpful. The prices may be a touch up scale, but it is worth it.
Wegmans never fails to please, though their meat prices are turning me towards vegetarianism.
Wegmans has an excellent variety of foods and health supplies. Their brand of foods and beverages are pretty good, usually. This Depew location isnt the large international store on McKinley Parkway, but its at a great location. Plenty of excellent food options here, as well as the cafe area. I usually shop Wegmans early in the morning or at night. It gets very crowded and parking can be a dilemma. Otherwise, Wegmans is an excellent shopping choice

Why do you constantly run out of Honest brand Iced Tea?! In the last several months I have found the shelf empty about 5 times, maybe more. Where do you keep all the; cherry & sour cherry & other concentrates, and glass jars of juices. The location that they used to be in for years are all gone and different types of products in its place, and no notice as to where they can be foound. Waste a lot of time looking for them to no avail.Lastly why no more carob chips?Thank you,S.D.
Wegmans is also a great experience, unless you go at high peak times and cant make it through the aisles. They have a great high quality selection, though overall their prices are high for no reason.
Very disappointed with this store!! This location use to have the best Chinese food, but the past two times I have gone the buffet was just about empty. Both times I had to ask if they could bring more out. The last time I was told that they didnt make anymore and what was out was it. It was 6 oclock !! So I ended up having to scrape the sides of the pan and of course had to pay full price for crusty rice!! Then at the check out the cashier turned my sons container over to get the code off the bottom of the container and his pizza logs tipped into his yogurt!! REALLY???? Of course I got upset and she allowed him to get a new container of food. Dont the cashiers know these codes,or have them written down somewhere? Why would you turn over a container that you know has food in it??
Today, August 1st, 2019 at about 2 PM I had the most ridiculous experience at a Wegmans on Transit Road.I came into a Wegmans to get Frozen Peaches & Wegmans honey and they are taxing honey. I looked on the NYS website for exempt from tax items and its on the list.The initial cashier near the prepped food area rang my order up. Told me there was a balance of 14.19 after I paid. She said she doesnt know why its doing that and that she redo the order. I told her not to redo the order because its not going to change the fact that they are charging tax on the honey. I could see in the screen that there was a T on the line of the honey. She should just call a supervisor.She looked annoyed at my request and continued to void each item and ring it back up. She repeated that the balance was 14.19. I told her that I knew that wasnt going to change and that is why I asked her to call a supervisor. Another lady comes to assist but just tells the customers to go to the register where they prepare coffee to be assisted.Eventually, a supervisor comes and she tells him that its charging me half of my order as it my card didnt have enough funds on it, which was not the case.I interrupted to inform him that I have only food items but that its charging tax on honey & if he would just look at the screen he could see.He looks at the back of the honey jar at the ingredients and says that it says 100% honey. And thats why its charging me the tax. I said that that doesnt make any sense because it is a 100% food item it should be considered food.He takes my receipt from the register and asked me to follow him to customer service so they can take care of it there.Once we get to the register at customer service the lady automatically rants off without even hearing me out that its honey and its taxable and theyre not taking the tax off. Leaving me to just throw my hand up and walk away from the whole thing - even the items that I paid for. I have no idea if they refunded my card or not. I was so upset at the time I didnt even think about it.As I looked on the New York State website for tax and non-taxable or exempt items honey is listed as an exempt item.For Wegmans to be doing this taxing of honey is in violation to New York state law.I bought this honey many times and Ive never paid tax on it.All three of these people decided to ignore what I was saying the three times Ive said that theyre not supposed to tax a food item.
Beware the *new* BBQ roast chickens!!!In a moment of laziness, I purchased one of the ready-to-eat chickens. The taste was very good. Salty, herbed and juicy. The texture, however, was beyond disgusting. It was like eating dry chicken Pate. Dissolving into a mushy paste in my mouth that was quite revolting. Real chicken has a firm and toothsome texture so I can only come to one conclusion: these chickens are treated with some kind of enzyme to make them tender. While it may be an organic tenderizer the end result is a disgusting mush on a carcass that resembles a chicken.I do not have a problem with the fact these chickens have gotten so small as to resemble cornish game hens as they are reasonably priced. In closing, Wegmans, cease and desist with this betrayal of all that you stand for in Food youre supposed to feel good aboutA Loyal and longtime customer

This was the first time I had been in this Wegmans on Transit Rd. I was awe struck! It was the largest Wegmans I had ever been in and the amount of product and variety of products was great!! I will be returning to this Wegmans!!!
Cafe food was not that great. Had General Tsos Chicken, noodlesand Pork Egg Roll in the heated section and it was still cold had to Nuke them. Taste was bland with everything, the egg roll was mushy on the inside. The Cafe at the Sheridan Drive location in Amherst is the only Delicious and Inviting of all the Wegmans in Erie County.

Not someone who is just going to sit around and wait for something to happen. Thats why 99% of their employees are happy to help you when you have a question or are looking for something. They want someone who shows that they want to work there. Not someone who is filling out job applications to every store in town and will take the first job offer that calls them get off your butt and call, show them youre interested and really want the job! I have only had one or two people I have asked for help not give me any help for a product just to ask someone else who was able to get it for me. The cashiers are amazing and so kind! The managers are wonderful both with thier duties and customer service. Definitely the best wegmans we have been to.

2022-06-07Always crowded - parking is ridiculous sometimes. I know that isnt the stores fault but it makes me hate going. I am working on moving my prescriptions out of there as its really the only time I go since the shelves never have what I want on them... And then they ask did you find everything and I said no, I had to try to find alternatives for whatever it was and they just kinda stare at you.

2022-01-06I purchase the same 1/2” sheet birthday/anniversary cake multiple times a year. For $70 each time!, I’m disappointed for the change in quality, Last one I picked up January 5, 2022 it had two inch thick whip cream frosting around the whole perimeter of the cake and at least half of the usual amount of mixed fresh fruit berries stuffing. The last three times Ive placed my order was a complete waste of money.I’ve seen and witnessed great quality cakes from Wegmans before, I gave them 3 more expensive chances before writing this review. Every plate collected during the party had a big ball of whip cream frosting left on the plate!

2022-03-22Wegmans has won some awards but once businesses do so, their management tends to get smug and the whole place tends to start to slide. Its as if there were an unseen Competence Thermostat keeping the business from getting too good.This one is fairly well stocked, but a number of customers have expressed frustration with Wegmans changing the location of items for no apparent good reason. (Maybe some fool needed to add the verb revamped to his resume.)Other than some of their prices being a bit much, my main beef with Wegs is their unfortunate partnership with INSTACART.As a Chemo patient, Ive used several delivery services. INSTACART leaves me the least impressed. If Wegmans offered a choice of delivery service providers, they would all have to up their game. The customers and Wegs would then both benefit from a healthy competition and come out ahead. Thats just Common Sense. Unfortunately, Common Sense can be quite rare. This is especially so whenever Management is either overtasked or simply decides they can afford to be lazy.

But my travel expense and not being anle to buy online like tops is a real bummer.Also... please figure out how to allow instacart shoppers to use their food stamps.Many ppl are struggly ans being able to order and use my stamps like at tops would easily make this the only food store i shop at.
