Stopped by to make some phone calls. Very pleasant in the morning there, no one around.

It would be nice if the drug addicts would utilize the trash cans available at the park instead of tossing there bags on the ground for my kids to pick up. Otherwise we highly enjoyed the fact the everything wasnt wrapped with caution tape and closed as we encourage our children to be as active as possible with very little access to the internet and TV as possible. Also the squirrels are entertaining and semi domesticated!!! Not only did our children enjoy them but my husband and I also enjoyed them.

This park is a great park.I do wish they would make some updates since its such a known park through out newyork.I ask who ever manages it to repave or repaint the basketball courts.I also strongly think that the park would become more greater in its glory if you would add some more adult like seats mabey even a swinging bench where the gardens used to be. This would be great thank you so much for making such a great park!!!

A park covered mostly by trees providing shade from the sun! What a concept! A pavilion to eat or gather in, several amenities including basketball courts and a little water plat area. Farmers market sees up on the corner during the week. Pavilion can be rented out with access to a kitchen.

Always has trash laying on the ground somewhere at this park. Last time I took my daughter to the playground there was cigarette butts on the ground next to the swings. Disappointed that not smoking at/near an area where children play isnt better enforced especially by law enforcement.

This is a really nice park. They have a free water feature that is great to play in and under on a hot day. The plauground has a nice array of equipment, and the pavilion has a good number of picnic tables. On Mondays, there is a small Farmers Market. Also, the park is a favorite place for local churches to have events. There is a nice area toward the back for meditation or yoga, and the sidewalk criss-crosses the park. There is even a small parking lot attached.

This is a lovely park. Theres a great play structure for the kids, plenty of shade, and lots of space for running around and having fun. In the summer, there is a sprinkler for cooling off in. Thursday nights, in the summer, there are horseshoe players. The basketball court is often in use. There are regular events all through the summer, and most weekends there are people holding birthdays or just cookouts. In the fall, the hickory and oak leaves are everywhere, great for making piles of leaves. In the winter, if theres snow, there is plenty of room for snow men, snow angels, and general snowy fun. Basically, everything you could want in a local park.
