A review that is way too late-- but we were busy riding!! We absolutely love riding, and the Growler did not disappoint. This is our first Fattie, and we have been riding at least twice per week since we picked up our bikes in March. Looking forward to more snow riding but the spring and summer riding has been fantastic. Not only are the bikes fabulous but the customer service was way over the top. A shout out to Ben who helped us pick the best frame size, and to Wheels for accommodating us for a special request to sit over frame sizes. If you choose to buy Growler, you will not be disappointed. The only thing I want more of is Growler stickers to put on my car!!

All I can say is, wow! I love all things cycling, so when I discovered this bike builder, in Rochester, I almost cried! So exciting, the fact that I can get a custom painted, custom decals, custom components fattie, or gravel bike, just down the road from me. Color me happy. Ben is a Zen master of bikes, and a very kind and accommodating person. Growler should feel fortunate to have him there. He walked my wife and I through the process of putting a bike together, then loaned us bikes to test ride for an entire week, then help me carefully pack them in my too-small crossover. Crazy-nice! Cannot wait to order my next bike!

I love my 2018 MBS (Growler Mr. Big Stuff) bike. For only having it half a year now I put it through a lot, including quite a bit of winter riding. The specs are more than comparable for the prices (compare to other fat bikes running SRAM Eagle drivetrain, air suspension forks, and hydraulic brakes), and the Growler crowd is one of the best communities youll find within mountain biking in general. Dont compare these bikes to department store bikes, because the department store bikes do not keep up to these bikes in durability and gear groupset (take it from someone who had YEARS of experience riding department store bikes prior to getting real mountain bikes).Edit: Just visited them today to pick up the additional wheelset for my bike, and to have my handlebars shortened a little. The owner himself was very helpful, and even checked out the condition of other components on the bike to make sure they were in good working order while it was there. The owner, employees, and community really enjoy mountain biking and do their part to help others enjoy it too.

A buddy of mine convinced me a fat bike would be a good investment. After a lot of research I went with growler because they were American made and built not far from me. I’ve had multiple conversations with Wilo (owner) throughout the process. He even answered the mainline one day when I called.The good part for those interested....... I ordered the wrong size frame. I’m right between a L and xl and I sized down because my yeti was too big in xl. When I let growler know they immediately sent me a new stem to see it would suffice and said if that didn’t work a new frame would be on its way. The stem threw the geometry off too much. I sent one email explaining the situation and by that afternoon my new frame was in paint.DO NOT HESITATE to do business with growler. They really aren’t even that expensive for the quality and the customer service is 2nd to none!!!!

Growler is the BEST in bikes and Customer Service. My husband and I have 2 Growler bikes and they are the best! We highly recommend them. The owner Willow makes sure everything is 100%.

Stumbled on to web site by accident and glad that I did. The Growler crew explained there bikes and which one would work for me. Looking forward to having a bike custom made with colors, graphics and options that would work for my style of riding .

Bikes are overpriced garbage...owner is just trying to get rich off the backs of hard working americans. customer service is horrible...dont waste your money
